Footage from Vengeance is shown. We see Tajiri delivering the mist to Orton as well as some spots from the unbelievable Hardy/Rhyno match up. Next up is some footage from the Elimination Chamber. The video package ends with Beniot being presented with the title.
The music video rolls and the pyro hits. JR and King welcome us to the first Raw after Vengeance and the first Raw that starts the road to SummerSlam! JR says that Vengeance was an unbelievable night. King agree's and says that Elimination Chamber was one of the greatest things he has ever witnessed. JR says that as great as the Elimination Chamber was, Rhyno and Matt Hardy stole the show in his opinion. They go onto talk about tonights events. The Black Panthers shall defend their gold against Test & Scott Steiner. Randy Orton most once again face Tajiri, his Intercontinental title on the line. And of course the 15 man Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the WorldHeavyweight title will be tonights main event. All that to come and more but first..........
Beniots music hits and the Rabid Wolverine comes out to a tremendous pop. He is wearing a suit and has the title on his shoulder. Beniot gets into the ring and takes the mic. Last night Beniot said he didnt win anything, he survived. He says what happened at Vengeance was historic, not only that but Beniot said he proved to the world that he is one of the greatest champions of all time. In the lead up to the Elimination Chamber, Beniot says alot of guys talked alot of trash. Well he did his talking in that Chamber and he came out still the man, still the WorldHeavyweight champion. Beniot says that he respected every single man going into the Chamber but after seeing what they went through, he has more respect for them now. Beniot says that tonight he doesnt have to fight. Instead he is going to sit back and watch tonights Main Event to see who gets a shot at the number one title in this business. 'Break The Walls Down!' Chris Jericho comes out to yet another huge ovation. Y2J gets the crowd hyped before stepping through the ropes and taking the mic from Beniot. Jericho says that tonight he is entered into the 15 man Battle Royal, not only that but he is going to win it. Jericho adds that he isnt here to fight. He just wants Beniot to know that at SummerSlam he will be facing the King of the World. Last night Jericho admits that Chris Beniot pinned him 1 2 3 but he says Beniot knows that Y2J nearly made him slap the mat. Beniot smiles and says that Jericho nearly made him tap out but he didnt and the title is still in his pocession. 'Evolution', Edge is next down to the ring. He stays outside and has a mic on him. Edge says that Beniot never pinned him. In tonights main event Edge is going to see to it personally that Chris Jericho is tossed from the match. After that Edge says he has his sights set on Beniot. Jericho smirks and asks if Edge is getting ahead of himself, after all Edge has to follow the leader. 'Im Back' and Eric Bischoff decides to join the party. Bisch says that Chris Beniot and Chris Jericho are holding up his show. He says thanks Edge for coming out and shutting these two up. Bisch then says that he never entered Jericho into the Battle Royal. Chris Jericho has to earn his place in the Main Event. So tonight Chris Jericho will take on Ric Flair and Batista in a gauntlet match up next. 'Im Back' hits again and Edge leaves with Bisch.

1st Match
Gauntlet Qualifier for Battle Royal
Chris Jericho vs Batista & Ric Flair
Batista is first up in the ring and he powers Y2J into the corner. Batista hammers away on the Winnipeger. Jericho fights out of the corner with right hands but is soon slowed down with a stiff clothesline. Batista gets Jericho up and drives him to the mat with a Powerslam for a nearfall. Stiff clubs across the back of the neck and he takes Jericho down in a Neck Vice. Y2J fights his way up to his feet and gets a Snapmare followed by a low dropkick to the back. Jericho tosses Batista out on the apron, Springboard Dropkick knocks him off. Jericho lets loose on Batista on the outside but the Deacon fights back and slams Jericho into the ringpost with a Bearhug applied. Back in the ring and Batista hits a Backbreaker followed by a variation of knees and kicks to the back of Jericho. Abdominal Stretch applied and the crowd begins to rally behind Y2J. He hiptosses out and connects with a spinning Neckbreaker as Batista gets up. Jericho up top and the diving reverse elbow connects. Nearfall for Jericho. Batista gets up but Y2J puts him out with an Enziguri for three.

Flair wastes no time in getting into the ring. He goes right for the back of Chris Jericho. Hitting forearms to it and punching the hell out of the kidneys. The Nature Boy hits a patented Back Suplex for a nearfall. He applies a grounded Abdominal Stretch and Jericho looks in serious trouble. Jericho begins to fight his way up but Flair hits an elbow across his eyebrow, busting it. Naitch applies a version of the Camel Clutch with his knee driven into the back of Y2J. Jericho looks to be in trouble but fights up and begins to knock Flair back with rights. DDT connects but both men are down. Up at 8 and they begin to slug it out. Jericho comes out trumps and sends Flair to the corner, Flair hits the Flair flip. Jericho goes up top with him. Back Suplex off the top rope connects! Jericho gets up and points to the ropes.... Lionsault connects to the Nature Boy and Jericho gets the pinfall!

Edge is out to the ring in a flash. He slides in behind Jericho. Y2J turns and recieves a vicous Spear. Batista comes back out to the ring. Edge and Batista begin to stomp down on Y2J. Beniots music hits and the Rabid Wolverine rushes to make the save. Beniot gets in and goes for Edge but he ducks the shot with the title and floors Beniot with a Spear. Edge, Batista and Flair leave to some major heat.

A-Train is shown in a dark corridor. He looks kind of jumpy. Coach comes out of the shadows. A-Train asks if Coach has his money. Coachman pulls a big manilla envelope from his jacket pocket and hands it to the A-Train. He says that Train could make alot of money this way and maybe even get a title shot. A-Train says that titles mean nothing, money is what really matters. He says that he hopes he can do business with Coach again. A-Train leaves and Coach says that he doesnt think so under his breath.

'Time to Play the Game' and here comes Triple H. Trips is heavily bandaged and he comes out to a tweener response. Hunter gets into the ring and takes the mic. He says that last night he saw something that he didnt think he would ever see, he saw himself being eliminated from the Elimination Chamber first. Trips says that this hurt him at first but soon he began to realise that it meant nothing. Last night Triple H says he wasnt on his game. He wasnt concentrating on the Elimination Chamber and the World title. His mind was preoccupied with other things. He is the Game and he shoulder never let himself get so distracted but he did. Who does he blame? Triple H blames one man and that man is Bret Hart. Trips says that for the last two months he has to watch Bret Hart drag his sorry ass onto Raw. And for two months Triple H has had to beat Bret Harts ass off of Raw. Well Triple H is damn sick of seeing sorry good for nothing has beens coming out here and taking up time on the show that he keeps ticking over. Triple H doesnt want to see Bret Hart in the WWE, infact Triple H would do anything to put Bret Hart out for good. So Hunter doesnt want to tip toe round anymore. He wants Bret Hart to bring his broken ass out to this ring. The guitar cries and the familuar beat hits, Bret Hart comes out to the pop of the night. He gets into the ring and goes toe to toe with Triple H. Trips asks what it is Hart is doing here. Bret is close enough to Triple H that he can speak into his mic. Hart says he came to the WWE to give advice to an old friend and to support him. He also felt that he didnt say goodbye to the WWE fans the way he wanted to and thats what he was another thing he wanted to do. Bret says he might have left a month ago but for some reason Triple H and Vince McMahon decided to pick a fight with him. Well Bret Hart doesnt back down from fights and he is going to keep on getting back up no matter what Trips throws at him. Triple H laughs and says that Bret Hart cant even compete in the ring anymore. He says Hart is through and that he needs to except that. Bret admits that he hasnt been in the ring for a while but he is pretty confident that he STILL is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. As well as that he feels that he could make a return, for one night only. Not only that but he thinks he is in good enough shape to return to the ring for say........ SummerSlam! 'Im Back' and Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring, looking a little bit pissed. He says that Bret Hart most still be a little bit woozy after the attack last week from the Game. Because Triple H wont be fighting Bret Hart at SummerSlam, he will be fighting Chris Beniot for the title. Bisch garuntee's that the Game will win tonights main event. Trips looks into Harts eyes which are unblinking. The Game tells Bisch to remove him from tonights Battle Royal because he wants Hart at SummerSlam, crowd like this. Bisch protests but Trips says he wants to beat Bret Hart into a second stroke. Hunter tosses the mic and gets head to head with the Hitman. Hart doesnt back down no matter how much Triple H attempts to intimidate him. Finally the Game puts his hands up and backs away. Trips and Bisch exit the ring leaving Hart there.

An ad airs for Chazz's Smackdown!. It hypes the Eddie Gurrero/Booker T title match that will be coming up this week as well as the Cruiserweight tournament. Be sure to tune in this Thursday.

Intercontinental Title
Tajiri vs Randy Orton (Champ)
Benjamin joins the King and JR for some color commentary. Despite his hatred for Orton, Benjamin puts both men over. They tie up and Tajiri goes right to those stiff kicks to the legs. He chops Orton down and attempts an early Kick of Death but Randy blocks it and attempts and early RKO but is pushed off. Thumb to the eye by the Intercontinental champion and he takes Tajiri down with a Neackbreaker, refocusing on the injury from last night. Orton puts the boot to the back of Tajiri's neck. The Buzzsaw pushes out of a Snapmare and comes at Orton with some stiff kicks. Spinning heel kick scores a two count. Scoop Slam by Tajiri and he drops a a jumping knee across the face of the downed Randy Orton for a two. Snap Suplex by the Buzzsaw gets him another two and he starts to work Orton in the corner with forearms. Orton reverses out and slams the back of Tajiri's neck into the turnbuckle a few times before taking him out with a Snapmare into a reverse chinlock. And we head to a Commercial.

Back and Orton as Tajiri in a Camel Clutch. During the break JR says that Tajiri made a slight come back but Orton went back to that neck. Tajiri comes to his feet and hits an arm drag to get free of Randy. Orton up and he sends Tajiri for the ride but only eats the Handspring Back Elbow. A close fall their. Tajiri up top and he comes off with a Crossbody but is caught with a dropkick from Randy. Orton gets Tajiri up and hits his Back/Neckbreaker for two. Whip into the corner but when Orton runs in he gets caught in the Tarantula. Tajiri lets up and tries for a Suplex but Randy floats over. RKO out of nowhere! 1 2 3.

Benjamin stare Orton down from the commentary position and Randy returns the stare from the ring. Randy Orton is presented with his title.

Once the ring is cleared Rhyno's music hits and the Man Beast comes out to a huge pop. Rhyno gets on the mic as the crowd chant his name. Last night Rhyno said that he was seconds away from winning the match up against Matt Hardy. In reality Rhyno considers himself the victor. He says he could have pinned Hardy but he didnt, instead he took a steel chair and busted Version 1 wide open. Rhyno said that Matt Hardy woke a Beast and that last night at Vengeance he payed the price with blood. 'Oh Yeah!' the Sensai of Mattitude comes out on stage but no further. He tests his mic. Matt says that the record books will show that he came away from Vengeance with the win. The books will also show that Rhyno is a woman beater who is a disgrace to this industry. Matt says that Stacy broke four ribs after being Speared and that she shouldnt come to work because of it. But Stacy has the power of Mattitude and was able to make the flight to New Hampshire. Rhyno says the record books mean **** all and that he, Hardy and the fans know who the real winner was. Rhyno chant starts up. 'Im Back' and it seems that Eric Bischoff enjoys interupting people this week as he is out for the third time tonight. Bisch says that last night Rhyno and Matt Hardy tore the roof off the Civic Center. Not only that but they are one of the main reasons why Raw is number one. Bisch says that Rhyno was out of line Goreing Stacy and that she along with Matt deserve some retribution. They will get it. Bisch says that there isnt a chance in hell that he is letting Teddy Long out do him. So two weeks from tonight he is booking Matt Hardy and Rhyno in a match up. A match that has never been seen before in the WWE. In two weeks time Mat Hardy and Rhyno will square off in the WWE's first ever Barbed Wire Match! The crowd go ape and Matts jaw drops. Rhyno smiles in the ring, he is happy with the annoucement. Bisch heads to the back with Matt following behind complaining. Rhyno looks out at the crowd and says in two weeks the era of Mattitude ends.

Bischoff heads down the corridor with Matt Hardy following after him. Matt asks what is Bischoff thinking booking that match. Bisch is thinking of ratings. Matt says that he doesnt want to step in the ring with Rhyno in a Barbed Wire Match. Bisch turns to Version 1 and tells him not to worry. Next week Sean O'Haire is going to soften Rhyno up in a Falls Count Anywhere match. He asks if Matt feels better now. Hardy smiles and says he feels great. Bisch asks Matt to excuse him and heads through a door. The sign on the door reads boiler room.

Nick Dinsmore, William Regal and Lance Storm are with Grish for an interview. He asks how does Dinsmore feel after over coming Garrison Cade to score his first PPV win. Nick says he feels nothing because Garrison Cade was a push over. HBK is his target and he promises that soon Michaels will be wishing he never heard of the name Nick Dinsmore. Grish picks up on the mention of HBK and says last night Lance Storm didnt get the job done. Storm says that he got the job done. HBK stole a victory that was rightfully his. Lance says that HBK's back is hurting after last night and that Dinsmore is just waiting to add the finishing touches. Grish asks if they are ready for tonights Main Event. Regal says they are in their to do the job that Mr Bischoff sets out for them. Grish asks what that is. Regal says that its none of his bloody business. The three technicians looks Grisham over before leaving.

World Tag Team Titles
Scott Steiner & Test vs Black Panthers (Champs) w/Coach
Steiner and Mack lock up and Steiner takes him down with a Steinerline. Big Poppa Pump drills Henry off the apron with an axe handle. Trapping Belly to Belly to Rodney Mack and Steiner brings Test into the ring. Test goes to work on Mack in the corner with some back elbows before taking him to the center with a Suplex. Steiner is tagged back in and the former All American clubs down hard across the back of Mack. T-bone Suplex connects followed by a Suplex. Test tags back in and he drills Mack with right hands. Snake Eyes coming but Mack slides off the back and connects with a German Suplex. Hot tag is made to Mark Henry who comes into the rings hitting everything that moves. Double Suplex to Steiner and Test, amazing show of strength. Standing Powerslam to Test and then Henry drills Steiner with his head. He whips both men into the same corner and splashes them. Mack comes back into the ring and takes Test outside with a big clothesline. Steiner up and he walks into the Worlds Most Powerful Slam. Nearfall for Henry but it isnt enough. He "runs" off the ropes...... Leg drop to Scott Steiner. Henry makes the cover and gets the win.
Winners: And still World Tag Team Champions, Scott Steiner & Test
Mack takes Test out with a standing spin kick. Coach tosses him and Henry the titles. The Black Panthers leave after an easy win.

'Im Back' and Bischoff comes out to some savage heat. He gets into the ring and takes a mic. He says that last night it seems that Shawn Michaels survived once again. That was until Kane came out and Chokeslammed HBK to hell. Bisch says that he has been playing around with HBK way too much but now he wants to put on the killer touch. He wants Michaels to see the man that is going to end his career......... KANE! Kane's music doesnt hit. Bisch looks confused and suddenly HBK's music hits the PA. Michaels comes out and the Bisch looks like he has just **** a brick. Michaels gets into the ring and gets face to face with Bischoff. He asks Bisch where his monster is. Eric is speechless. The Heartbreak Kid says that he has something to show Eric Bischoff. Something he likes to call Sweet-Chin-Music. The fires of hell erupt and Kane comes down to the ring. HBK turns to meet him as Kane slides into the ring. The two men trade right hands but Kane comes out on top. Big Boot to HBK and Bisch begins to laugh. Michaels gets to his feet and stumbles into the goozle...... Chokeslam connects! Bisch shouts that the end is near for Shawn Michaels. Kane smiles at Bisch and takes the mic from him. Kane says that the end is near of HBK but not now. Bisch seems confused and Kane smiles sadistically. He wants Bisch to know that doesnt do what other people want. Big Boot to the General Manager of Raw! Dinsmore, Regal and Storm come out but stop in their tracks when Kane turns to them. He gets out of the ring and walks past Bisch's men.

Christian is in the back with Lillian Garcia for an interview, Trish at his side. Lillian says that last night Christian had a great showing inside the Elimination Chamber but just came up short. Christian repeats the just came up short part. He asks if Lillian was watching the match up last night. He says that he had Chris Beniot locked in the Texas Cloverleaf and was set to make him tap out. Christian says that from there he was going to go on and beat the crap out of Chris Jericho before crowing himself the WorldHeavyweight champion. However that didnt happen because Chris Jericho snuck in and caught Christian with an Enziguri. Christian didnt come up short, he had sweet victory robbed from him. Well tonight Christian has revenge on his mind. He is going to into tonights main event and he is going to toss body after body over the top rope until he is the last man standing. Then he is going to go to Torono and beat Chris Beniot just like he did last week on Raw. Christian pushes Lillian aside and leaves. Trish steps up to Garcia and looks her over before heading after her man.

Jericho is in the back applying ice to his lower back when Johnny Nitro comes into shot. Nitro asks what the hell Jericho is doing. Y2J looks Nitro over and asks what the hell Nitro is doing checking him out. He says he is icing himself..... 'ya jackass.' Nitro chuckles and says Jericho better get some ore ice because he has a match up next. Jericho cant believe it and Nitro leaves laughing his ass off.

Singles Match
Chris Jericho vs A-Train
Jericho is gripping his back before locking up with the A-Train. A-Train drills him with a knee to the gut and then goes to hit some clubbing blow to the back of Y2J. Whip sternum first into the corner and the A-Train starts to hit shoulder thrusts to the lower back of Jericho. He takes him out of the corner and connects with a Backbreaker for two. A-Train drops some clumsy elbows across the back of Jericho before punking him out. He stays on the back with kicks, clubs, punches and elbows. A-Train tosses Jericho out of the ring and rams him back first into the guardrail. Rib-breaker but instead A-Train rams Y2J's lower back into the steel ringpost five times. Back on the inside and A-Train stays on the back, Jericho yet to get in one offensive move. A-Train has Y2J in the corner but runs into the boot of Jericho. Chris up top and he hits a Bulldog off the top onto A-Train. Jericho uses the ropes to get up, his back in serious trouble. Clothesline but A-Train ducks and Jericho ends up taking out the referee. He turns, his back in agoney, and is hit with the Derailer(Baldo Bomb)! A-Train doesnt cover because the referee is knocked out. Instead he goes out and grabs a steel chair. Test comes running out to the ring and gets in. Big Boot to the chair which goes right back into A-Trains face! Test makes a quick getaway as the referee come through. Jericho rolls onto the cover, 1 2 3.

Shelton Benjamins music hits and the number one contender for the IC title come out to a good response. Benjamin gets into the ring and takes the stick from the Fink. Last night Benjamin says he came over alot of adversity and came away with a great win. While Batista did attack him after the match, Benjamin says he is going to forget that and concentrate on one thing, beating Randy Orton for the Intercontinental title. He says he has fought too long and too hard to have his dream stolen from him. 'Evolution' and here comes the Intercontinental champion, Randy Orton! Orton is wearing his wrestling gear along with an Evolution t-shirt. He gets into the ring and holds the title up infront of Benjamins face. Randy says that is as close as Shelton Benjamin will ever get to the Intercontinental title because there is no way Randy is losing to him. Orton says that he has beaten every single man placed infront of him, including Benjamin. He says that he would have thought that Shelton would have realised by now that he isnt up to Ortons level. He is a Legend Killer while Shelton Benjamin is a Time Filler. Orton is at the top somewhere Shelton has never been and never will be. He says that even as an amatuer Shelton Benjamin was always only second best. He says Benjamin can talk all he wants but Randy Orton knows just as Brock Lesner did, that Shelton Benjamin is not worth worrying about. Orton says he will give Shelton credit for beating Batista but if that was a cheap victory. At SummerSlam Orton says that he is going to win in his sleep. Benjamin says that in a split second he beat Batista. Anything can happen in a split second. Benjamin blasts Orton with a Superkick out of nowhere. He stands over Orton and picks the title up. Benjamin looks at it before dropping it on the motionless champion. Shelton Benjamins music hits and he head to the back.

Chris Jericho is in the back with the Trainer. The Trainer says that Y2J's back is in bad shape and he thinks it best if Jericho not wrestle tonight. Jericho says that he cant do that, he has to wrestle this match. He pushes the trainer aside and heads out the door.

Triple H is leaving the arena with his bags. Grisham approaches the Game and asks why Hunter isnt staying. Trips says that he has no reason to stay for tonights main event. He already knows the result. Whats that asks Girsh. The Game says that Chris Jericho wont be winning.

Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Shawn Michaels vs Lance Storm vs Garrison Cade vs Nick Dinsmore vs William Regal vs Sean O'Haire vs Billy Kiddman vs Al Snow vs Val Venis vs Matt Hardy vs Rob Conway vs Rosey
The 15 men are all in the ring and stare each other down, no one wanting to make the first move. Cade and Storm square off, HBK and Dinsmore trade blows. Jericho is set upon by Edge and Christian who are working as a tandem it would seem. O'Haire takes Snow while Hardy goes for Venis. Conway and Kiddman conspire to eliminate Rosey. Double Suplex by E&C to Y2J. Conway turns on Kiddman and attempts to haul him over. Al Snow slugs it out with O'Haire as Kiddman hangs on for dear life. Regal joins Storm in taking it to Cade. Side Effect to Val Venis but Matt hasnt time to gloat as Rosey takes him down with a half Belly to Belly Slam. Kiddman nearly out but is still hanging in there. Rosey comes from behind with a clothesline to Conway that sends him out of the match.
Rob Conway has been eliminated
WidowMaker to Al Snow and Dinsmore stomps HBK down in the corner. Jericho is hanging on as E&C attempt to turf him out. Cad takes out Storm and Regal with a double clothesline. He clubs Edge off of Jericho and then Christian. Garrison starts to work on Christian. Kiddman up top and he comes off with a Crossbody to Rosey.... caught and Rosey smiles. Fall Away Slam over the top rope!
Billy Kiddman has been eliminated
Sean O'Haire has Al Snow on the ropes but Val Venis breaks that up with a Back Suplex to O'Haire. Rosey mows Venis down with a clothesline. Al Snow gets back in but Rosey hits the Ho-train and that sends him over the ropes and out of the match up.
Al Snow has been eliminated
Rosey is on a roll as he grabs Venis up in a Rib-breaker but instead dumps him over the ropes.
Val Venis has been eliminated
Jericho with a double underhook Backbreaker to Edge. Christian fights Cade off with right hands as HBK rakes the eyes of Dinsmore. Sweet Chin Music sends Lance Storm up and out of the match up!
Lance Storm has been eliminated
O'Haire clubs Rosey across the back and starts to hammer with big Samoan with right hands. Flash back from Matt Hardy to Nick Dinsmore. Christian drapes Cade across the ropes and attempts to force him over. Jericho up top and he comes off with a double axe handle to William Regal. HBK takes out Sean O'Haire with an Atomic Drop. Hardy attacks HBK from behind knocking him through the second and third ropes to the outside but HBK didnt go over so he is still in the match. Edge floors Christian with a Spear! Regal gets up but recieves a clothesline from Jericho that knows him out of the match.

Sean O'Haire with a Bulldog to Edge. Garrison Cade walks into the waiting O'Haire....... WidowMaker over the top rope by Sean O'Haire gets rid of Cade! Great move there.
Garrison Cade has been eliminated
HBK comes back in and trades blows with Matt Hardy. Edge has Christian set to go out but he cant push him. Rosey has O'Haire in the corner and is working him with rights and lefts. Dinsmore comes out of nowhere with a clothesline to HBK that sends the both of them over the top rope.
Nick Dinsmore & HBK have been eliminated
Michaels and Dinsmore begin to brawl as the action continues in the ring. Matt Hardy turns into a dropkick from Jericho that sends him up and over.
Matt Hardy has been eliminated
Jericho runs at Edge but he side steps him and Jericho nearly sends Christian out of the match. Edge with a forearm to the back of Jericho. Rosey rushes O"Haire who drops the top rope...... Rosey tumbles out.

We are down to the final four. Edge has Jericho on the ropes and is beating the hell out of his lower back. O'Haire runs at Edge, seeing an oppertunity....... He dumps Edge over but falls over himself.... Jericho hangs on and skims the cat back into the ring!
Sean O'Haire and Edge have been eliminated
Jericho and Christian lock eyes and the two former best friends begin to slug it out. Neither man gives an inch as they go blow for blow. Knee to the gut by Christian and he attempts to toss Y2J..... Jericho blocks it on the ropes and connects with the Enziguri! Christian over the top but he hangs on barely. Jericho tries to force him off as Edge come into the ring with a steel chair. Shot to the lower back of Jericho! Edge bails and Christian gets back into the ring. Y2J looks lifeless and Christian grabs a handful of hair before tossing him out over the top rope!
Winner: And number one contender, Christian!
Christian falls to his knee's as the bell sounds. Beniot leaves JR and the King and gets on stage. He looks down at Christian who is showing that the belt will be around his waist. Beniot holds the title up for Christian to see as Raw goes off the air.

Footage from Vengeance is shown. We see Tajiri delivering the mist to Orton as well as some spots from the unbelievable Hardy/Rhyno match up. Next up is some footage from the Elimination Chamber. The video package ends with Beniot being presented with the title.
The music video rolls and the pyro hits. JR and King welcome us to the first Raw after Vengeance and the first Raw that starts the road to SummerSlam! JR says that Vengeance was an unbelievable night. King agree's and says that Elimination Chamber was one of the greatest things he has ever witnessed. JR says that as great as the Elimination Chamber was, Rhyno and Matt Hardy stole the show in his opinion. They go onto talk about tonights events. The Black Panthers shall defend their gold against Test & Scott Steiner. Randy Orton most once again face Tajiri, his Intercontinental title on the line. And of course the 15 man Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the WorldHeavyweight title will be tonights main event. All that to come and more but first..........
Beniots music hits and the Rabid Wolverine comes out to a tremendous pop. He is wearing a suit and has the title on his shoulder. Beniot gets into the ring and takes the mic. Last night Beniot said he didnt win anything, he survived. He says what happened at Vengeance was historic, not only that but Beniot said he proved to the world that he is one of the greatest champions of all time. In the lead up to the Elimination Chamber, Beniot says alot of guys talked alot of trash. Well he did his talking in that Chamber and he came out still the man, still the WorldHeavyweight champion. Beniot says that he respected every single man going into the Chamber but after seeing what they went through, he has more respect for them now. Beniot says that tonight he doesnt have to fight. Instead he is going to sit back and watch tonights Main Event to see who gets a shot at the number one title in this business. 'Break The Walls Down!' Chris Jericho comes out to yet another huge ovation. Y2J gets the crowd hyped before stepping through the ropes and taking the mic from Beniot. Jericho says that tonight he is entered into the 15 man Battle Royal, not only that but he is going to win it. Jericho adds that he isnt here to fight. He just wants Beniot to know that at SummerSlam he will be facing the King of the World. Last night Jericho admits that Chris Beniot pinned him 1 2 3 but he says Beniot knows that Y2J nearly made him slap the mat. Beniot smiles and says that Jericho nearly made him tap out but he didnt and the title is still in his pocession. 'Evolution', Edge is next down to the ring. He stays outside and has a mic on him. Edge says that Beniot never pinned him. In tonights main event Edge is going to see to it personally that Chris Jericho is tossed from the match. After that Edge says he has his sights set on Beniot. Jericho smirks and asks if Edge is getting ahead of himself, after all Edge has to follow the leader. 'Im Back' and Eric Bischoff decides to join the party. Bisch says that Chris Beniot and Chris Jericho are holding up his show. He says thanks Edge for coming out and shutting these two up. Bisch then says that he never entered Jericho into the Battle Royal. Chris Jericho has to earn his place in the Main Event. So tonight Chris Jericho will take on Ric Flair and Batista in a gauntlet match up next. 'Im Back' hits again and Edge leaves with Bisch.

Gauntlet Qualifier for Battle Royal
Chris Jericho vs Batista & Ric Flair
Batista is first up in the ring and he powers Y2J into the corner. Batista hammers away on the Winnipeger. Jericho fights out of the corner with right hands but is soon slowed down with a stiff clothesline. Batista gets Jericho up and drives him to the mat with a Powerslam for a nearfall. Stiff clubs across the back of the neck and he takes Jericho down in a Neck Vice. Y2J fights his way up to his feet and gets a Snapmare followed by a low dropkick to the back. Jericho tosses Batista out on the apron, Springboard Dropkick knocks him off. Jericho lets loose on Batista on the outside but the Deacon fights back and slams Jericho into the ringpost with a Bearhug applied. Back in the ring and Batista hits a Backbreaker followed by a variation of knees and kicks to the back of Jericho. Abdominal Stretch applied and the crowd begins to rally behind Y2J. He hiptosses out and connects with a spinning Neckbreaker as Batista gets up. Jericho up top and the diving reverse elbow connects. Nearfall for Jericho. Batista gets up but Y2J puts him out with an Enziguri for three.

Flair wastes no time in getting into the ring. He goes right for the back of Chris Jericho. Hitting forearms to it and punching the hell out of the kidneys. The Nature Boy hits a patented Back Suplex for a nearfall. He applies a grounded Abdominal Stretch and Jericho looks in serious trouble. Jericho begins to fight his way up but Flair hits an elbow across his eyebrow, busting it. Naitch applies a version of the Camel Clutch with his knee driven into the back of Y2J. Jericho looks to be in trouble but fights up and begins to knock Flair back with rights. DDT connects but both men are down. Up at 8 and they begin to slug it out. Jericho comes out trumps and sends Flair to the corner, Flair hits the Flair flip. Jericho goes up top with him. Back Suplex off the top rope connects! Jericho gets up and points to the ropes.... Lionsault connects to the Nature Boy and Jericho gets the pinfall!

Edge is out to the ring in a flash. He slides in behind Jericho. Y2J turns and recieves a vicous Spear. Batista comes back out to the ring. Edge and Batista begin to stomp down on Y2J. Beniots music hits and the Rabid Wolverine rushes to make the save. Beniot gets in and goes for Edge but he ducks the shot with the title and floors Beniot with a Spear. Edge, Batista and Flair leave to some major heat.

A-Train is shown in a dark corridor. He looks kind of jumpy. Coach comes out of the shadows. A-Train asks if Coach has his money. Coachman pulls a big manilla envelope from his jacket pocket and hands it to the A-Train. He says that Train could make alot of money this way and maybe even get a title shot. A-Train says that titles mean nothing, money is what really matters. He says that he hopes he can do business with Coach again. A-Train leaves and Coach says that he doesnt think so under his breath.

'Time to Play the Game' and here comes Triple H. Trips is heavily bandaged and he comes out to a tweener response. Hunter gets into the ring and takes the mic. He says that last night he saw something that he didnt think he would ever see, he saw himself being eliminated from the Elimination Chamber first. Trips says that this hurt him at first but soon he began to realise that it meant nothing. Last night Triple H says he wasnt on his game. He wasnt concentrating on the Elimination Chamber and the World title. His mind was preoccupied with other things. He is the Game and he shoulder never let himself get so distracted but he did. Who does he blame? Triple H blames one man and that man is Bret Hart. Trips says that for the last two months he has to watch Bret Hart drag his sorry ass onto Raw. And for two months Triple H has had to beat Bret Harts ass off of Raw. Well Triple H is damn sick of seeing sorry good for nothing has beens coming out here and taking up time on the show that he keeps ticking over. Triple H doesnt want to see Bret Hart in the WWE, infact Triple H would do anything to put Bret Hart out for good. So Hunter doesnt want to tip toe round anymore. He wants Bret Hart to bring his broken ass out to this ring. The guitar cries and the familuar beat hits, Bret Hart comes out to the pop of the night. He gets into the ring and goes toe to toe with Triple H. Trips asks what it is Hart is doing here. Bret is close enough to Triple H that he can speak into his mic. Hart says he came to the WWE to give advice to an old friend and to support him. He also felt that he didnt say goodbye to the WWE fans the way he wanted to and thats what he was another thing he wanted to do. Bret says he might have left a month ago but for some reason Triple H and Vince McMahon decided to pick a fight with him. Well Bret Hart doesnt back down from fights and he is going to keep on getting back up no matter what Trips throws at him. Triple H laughs and says that Bret Hart cant even compete in the ring anymore. He says Hart is through and that he needs to except that. Bret admits that he hasnt been in the ring for a while but he is pretty confident that he STILL is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. As well as that he feels that he could make a return, for one night only. Not only that but he thinks he is in good enough shape to return to the ring for say........ SummerSlam! 'Im Back' and Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring, looking a little bit pissed. He says that Bret Hart most still be a little bit woozy after the attack last week from the Game. Because Triple H wont be fighting Bret Hart at SummerSlam, he will be fighting Chris Beniot for the title. Bisch garuntee's that the Game will win tonights main event. Trips looks into Harts eyes which are unblinking. The Game tells Bisch to remove him from tonights Battle Royal because he wants Hart at SummerSlam, crowd like this. Bisch protests but Trips says he wants to beat Bret Hart into a second stroke. Hunter tosses the mic and gets head to head with the Hitman. Hart doesnt back down no matter how much Triple H attempts to intimidate him. Finally the Game puts his hands up and backs away. Trips and Bisch exit the ring leaving Hart there.

Tajiri vs Randy Orton (Champ)
Benjamin joins the King and JR for some color commentary. Despite his hatred for Orton, Benjamin puts both men over. They tie up and Tajiri goes right to those stiff kicks to the legs. He chops Orton down and attempts an early Kick of Death but Randy blocks it and attempts and early RKO but is pushed off. Thumb to the eye by the Intercontinental champion and he takes Tajiri down with a Neackbreaker, refocusing on the injury from last night. Orton puts the boot to the back of Tajiri's neck. The Buzzsaw pushes out of a Snapmare and comes at Orton with some stiff kicks. Spinning heel kick scores a two count. Scoop Slam by Tajiri and he drops a a jumping knee across the face of the downed Randy Orton for a two. Snap Suplex by the Buzzsaw gets him another two and he starts to work Orton in the corner with forearms. Orton reverses out and slams the back of Tajiri's neck into the turnbuckle a few times before taking him out with a Snapmare into a reverse chinlock. And we head to a Commercial.

Back and Orton as Tajiri in a Camel Clutch. During the break JR says that Tajiri made a slight come back but Orton went back to that neck. Tajiri comes to his feet and hits an arm drag to get free of Randy. Orton up and he sends Tajiri for the ride but only eats the Handspring Back Elbow. A close fall their. Tajiri up top and he comes off with a Crossbody but is caught with a dropkick from Randy. Orton gets Tajiri up and hits his Back/Neckbreaker for two. Whip into the corner but when Orton runs in he gets caught in the Tarantula. Tajiri lets up and tries for a Suplex but Randy floats over. RKO out of nowhere! 1 2 3.

Once the ring is cleared Rhyno's music hits and the Man Beast comes out to a huge pop. Rhyno gets on the mic as the crowd chant his name. Last night Rhyno said that he was seconds away from winning the match up against Matt Hardy. In reality Rhyno considers himself the victor. He says he could have pinned Hardy but he didnt, instead he took a steel chair and busted Version 1 wide open. Rhyno said that Matt Hardy woke a Beast and that last night at Vengeance he payed the price with blood. 'Oh Yeah!' the Sensai of Mattitude comes out on stage but no further. He tests his mic. Matt says that the record books will show that he came away from Vengeance with the win. The books will also show that Rhyno is a woman beater who is a disgrace to this industry. Matt says that Stacy broke four ribs after being Speared and that she shouldnt come to work because of it. But Stacy has the power of Mattitude and was able to make the flight to New Hampshire. Rhyno says the record books mean **** all and that he, Hardy and the fans know who the real winner was. Rhyno chant starts up. 'Im Back' and it seems that Eric Bischoff enjoys interupting people this week as he is out for the third time tonight. Bisch says that last night Rhyno and Matt Hardy tore the roof off the Civic Center. Not only that but they are one of the main reasons why Raw is number one. Bisch says that Rhyno was out of line Goreing Stacy and that she along with Matt deserve some retribution. They will get it. Bisch says that there isnt a chance in hell that he is letting Teddy Long out do him. So two weeks from tonight he is booking Matt Hardy and Rhyno in a match up. A match that has never been seen before in the WWE. In two weeks time Mat Hardy and Rhyno will square off in the WWE's first ever Barbed Wire Match! The crowd go ape and Matts jaw drops. Rhyno smiles in the ring, he is happy with the annoucement. Bisch heads to the back with Matt following behind complaining. Rhyno looks out at the crowd and says in two weeks the era of Mattitude ends.

Bischoff heads down the corridor with Matt Hardy following after him. Matt asks what is Bischoff thinking booking that match. Bisch is thinking of ratings. Matt says that he doesnt want to step in the ring with Rhyno in a Barbed Wire Match. Bisch turns to Version 1 and tells him not to worry. Next week Sean O'Haire is going to soften Rhyno up in a Falls Count Anywhere match. He asks if Matt feels better now. Hardy smiles and says he feels great. Bisch asks Matt to excuse him and heads through a door. The sign on the door reads boiler room.

Nick Dinsmore, William Regal and Lance Storm are with Grish for an interview. He asks how does Dinsmore feel after over coming Garrison Cade to score his first PPV win. Nick says he feels nothing because Garrison Cade was a push over. HBK is his target and he promises that soon Michaels will be wishing he never heard of the name Nick Dinsmore. Grish picks up on the mention of HBK and says last night Lance Storm didnt get the job done. Storm says that he got the job done. HBK stole a victory that was rightfully his. Lance says that HBK's back is hurting after last night and that Dinsmore is just waiting to add the finishing touches. Grish asks if they are ready for tonights Main Event. Regal says they are in their to do the job that Mr Bischoff sets out for them. Grish asks what that is. Regal says that its none of his bloody business. The three technicians looks Grisham over before leaving.

Scott Steiner & Test vs Black Panthers (Champs) w/Coach
Steiner and Mack lock up and Steiner takes him down with a Steinerline. Big Poppa Pump drills Henry off the apron with an axe handle. Trapping Belly to Belly to Rodney Mack and Steiner brings Test into the ring. Test goes to work on Mack in the corner with some back elbows before taking him to the center with a Suplex. Steiner is tagged back in and the former All American clubs down hard across the back of Mack. T-bone Suplex connects followed by a Suplex. Test tags back in and he drills Mack with right hands. Snake Eyes coming but Mack slides off the back and connects with a German Suplex. Hot tag is made to Mark Henry who comes into the rings hitting everything that moves. Double Suplex to Steiner and Test, amazing show of strength. Standing Powerslam to Test and then Henry drills Steiner with his head. He whips both men into the same corner and splashes them. Mack comes back into the ring and takes Test outside with a big clothesline. Steiner up and he walks into the Worlds Most Powerful Slam. Nearfall for Henry but it isnt enough. He "runs" off the ropes...... Leg drop to Scott Steiner. Henry makes the cover and gets the win.

Mack takes Test out with a standing spin kick. Coach tosses him and Henry the titles. The Black Panthers leave after an easy win.

'Im Back' and Bischoff comes out to some savage heat. He gets into the ring and takes a mic. He says that last night it seems that Shawn Michaels survived once again. That was until Kane came out and Chokeslammed HBK to hell. Bisch says that he has been playing around with HBK way too much but now he wants to put on the killer touch. He wants Michaels to see the man that is going to end his career......... KANE! Kane's music doesnt hit. Bisch looks confused and suddenly HBK's music hits the PA. Michaels comes out and the Bisch looks like he has just **** a brick. Michaels gets into the ring and gets face to face with Bischoff. He asks Bisch where his monster is. Eric is speechless. The Heartbreak Kid says that he has something to show Eric Bischoff. Something he likes to call Sweet-Chin-Music. The fires of hell erupt and Kane comes down to the ring. HBK turns to meet him as Kane slides into the ring. The two men trade right hands but Kane comes out on top. Big Boot to HBK and Bisch begins to laugh. Michaels gets to his feet and stumbles into the goozle...... Chokeslam connects! Bisch shouts that the end is near for Shawn Michaels. Kane smiles at Bisch and takes the mic from him. Kane says that the end is near of HBK but not now. Bisch seems confused and Kane smiles sadistically. He wants Bisch to know that doesnt do what other people want. Big Boot to the General Manager of Raw! Dinsmore, Regal and Storm come out but stop in their tracks when Kane turns to them. He gets out of the ring and walks past Bisch's men.

Christian is in the back with Lillian Garcia for an interview, Trish at his side. Lillian says that last night Christian had a great showing inside the Elimination Chamber but just came up short. Christian repeats the just came up short part. He asks if Lillian was watching the match up last night. He says that he had Chris Beniot locked in the Texas Cloverleaf and was set to make him tap out. Christian says that from there he was going to go on and beat the crap out of Chris Jericho before crowing himself the WorldHeavyweight champion. However that didnt happen because Chris Jericho snuck in and caught Christian with an Enziguri. Christian didnt come up short, he had sweet victory robbed from him. Well tonight Christian has revenge on his mind. He is going to into tonights main event and he is going to toss body after body over the top rope until he is the last man standing. Then he is going to go to Torono and beat Chris Beniot just like he did last week on Raw. Christian pushes Lillian aside and leaves. Trish steps up to Garcia and looks her over before heading after her man.

Jericho is in the back applying ice to his lower back when Johnny Nitro comes into shot. Nitro asks what the hell Jericho is doing. Y2J looks Nitro over and asks what the hell Nitro is doing checking him out. He says he is icing himself..... 'ya jackass.' Nitro chuckles and says Jericho better get some ore ice because he has a match up next. Jericho cant believe it and Nitro leaves laughing his ass off.

Singles Match
Chris Jericho vs A-Train
Jericho is gripping his back before locking up with the A-Train. A-Train drills him with a knee to the gut and then goes to hit some clubbing blow to the back of Y2J. Whip sternum first into the corner and the A-Train starts to hit shoulder thrusts to the lower back of Jericho. He takes him out of the corner and connects with a Backbreaker for two. A-Train drops some clumsy elbows across the back of Jericho before punking him out. He stays on the back with kicks, clubs, punches and elbows. A-Train tosses Jericho out of the ring and rams him back first into the guardrail. Rib-breaker but instead A-Train rams Y2J's lower back into the steel ringpost five times. Back on the inside and A-Train stays on the back, Jericho yet to get in one offensive move. A-Train has Y2J in the corner but runs into the boot of Jericho. Chris up top and he hits a Bulldog off the top onto A-Train. Jericho uses the ropes to get up, his back in serious trouble. Clothesline but A-Train ducks and Jericho ends up taking out the referee. He turns, his back in agoney, and is hit with the Derailer(Baldo Bomb)! A-Train doesnt cover because the referee is knocked out. Instead he goes out and grabs a steel chair. Test comes running out to the ring and gets in. Big Boot to the chair which goes right back into A-Trains face! Test makes a quick getaway as the referee come through. Jericho rolls onto the cover, 1 2 3.

Shelton Benjamins music hits and the number one contender for the IC title come out to a good response. Benjamin gets into the ring and takes the stick from the Fink. Last night Benjamin says he came over alot of adversity and came away with a great win. While Batista did attack him after the match, Benjamin says he is going to forget that and concentrate on one thing, beating Randy Orton for the Intercontinental title. He says he has fought too long and too hard to have his dream stolen from him. 'Evolution' and here comes the Intercontinental champion, Randy Orton! Orton is wearing his wrestling gear along with an Evolution t-shirt. He gets into the ring and holds the title up infront of Benjamins face. Randy says that is as close as Shelton Benjamin will ever get to the Intercontinental title because there is no way Randy is losing to him. Orton says that he has beaten every single man placed infront of him, including Benjamin. He says that he would have thought that Shelton would have realised by now that he isnt up to Ortons level. He is a Legend Killer while Shelton Benjamin is a Time Filler. Orton is at the top somewhere Shelton has never been and never will be. He says that even as an amatuer Shelton Benjamin was always only second best. He says Benjamin can talk all he wants but Randy Orton knows just as Brock Lesner did, that Shelton Benjamin is not worth worrying about. Orton says he will give Shelton credit for beating Batista but if that was a cheap victory. At SummerSlam Orton says that he is going to win in his sleep. Benjamin says that in a split second he beat Batista. Anything can happen in a split second. Benjamin blasts Orton with a Superkick out of nowhere. He stands over Orton and picks the title up. Benjamin looks at it before dropping it on the motionless champion. Shelton Benjamins music hits and he head to the back.

Chris Jericho is in the back with the Trainer. The Trainer says that Y2J's back is in bad shape and he thinks it best if Jericho not wrestle tonight. Jericho says that he cant do that, he has to wrestle this match. He pushes the trainer aside and heads out the door.

Triple H is leaving the arena with his bags. Grisham approaches the Game and asks why Hunter isnt staying. Trips says that he has no reason to stay for tonights main event. He already knows the result. Whats that asks Girsh. The Game says that Chris Jericho wont be winning.

The 15 men are all in the ring and stare each other down, no one wanting to make the first move. Cade and Storm square off, HBK and Dinsmore trade blows. Jericho is set upon by Edge and Christian who are working as a tandem it would seem. O'Haire takes Snow while Hardy goes for Venis. Conway and Kiddman conspire to eliminate Rosey. Double Suplex by E&C to Y2J. Conway turns on Kiddman and attempts to haul him over. Al Snow slugs it out with O'Haire as Kiddman hangs on for dear life. Regal joins Storm in taking it to Cade. Side Effect to Val Venis but Matt hasnt time to gloat as Rosey takes him down with a half Belly to Belly Slam. Kiddman nearly out but is still hanging in there. Rosey comes from behind with a clothesline to Conway that sends him out of the match.

WidowMaker to Al Snow and Dinsmore stomps HBK down in the corner. Jericho is hanging on as E&C attempt to turf him out. Cad takes out Storm and Regal with a double clothesline. He clubs Edge off of Jericho and then Christian. Garrison starts to work on Christian. Kiddman up top and he comes off with a Crossbody to Rosey.... caught and Rosey smiles. Fall Away Slam over the top rope!

Sean O'Haire has Al Snow on the ropes but Val Venis breaks that up with a Back Suplex to O'Haire. Rosey mows Venis down with a clothesline. Al Snow gets back in but Rosey hits the Ho-train and that sends him over the ropes and out of the match up.

Rosey is on a roll as he grabs Venis up in a Rib-breaker but instead dumps him over the ropes.
Val Venis has been eliminated
Jericho with a double underhook Backbreaker to Edge. Christian fights Cade off with right hands as HBK rakes the eyes of Dinsmore. Sweet Chin Music sends Lance Storm up and out of the match up!

O'Haire clubs Rosey across the back and starts to hammer with big Samoan with right hands. Flash back from Matt Hardy to Nick Dinsmore. Christian drapes Cade across the ropes and attempts to force him over. Jericho up top and he comes off with a double axe handle to William Regal. HBK takes out Sean O'Haire with an Atomic Drop. Hardy attacks HBK from behind knocking him through the second and third ropes to the outside but HBK didnt go over so he is still in the match. Edge floors Christian with a Spear! Regal gets up but recieves a clothesline from Jericho that knows him out of the match.

Sean O'Haire with a Bulldog to Edge. Garrison Cade walks into the waiting O'Haire....... WidowMaker over the top rope by Sean O'Haire gets rid of Cade! Great move there.

HBK comes back in and trades blows with Matt Hardy. Edge has Christian set to go out but he cant push him. Rosey has O'Haire in the corner and is working him with rights and lefts. Dinsmore comes out of nowhere with a clothesline to HBK that sends the both of them over the top rope.
Nick Dinsmore & HBK have been eliminated
Michaels and Dinsmore begin to brawl as the action continues in the ring. Matt Hardy turns into a dropkick from Jericho that sends him up and over.

Jericho runs at Edge but he side steps him and Jericho nearly sends Christian out of the match. Edge with a forearm to the back of Jericho. Rosey rushes O"Haire who drops the top rope...... Rosey tumbles out.

We are down to the final four. Edge has Jericho on the ropes and is beating the hell out of his lower back. O'Haire runs at Edge, seeing an oppertunity....... He dumps Edge over but falls over himself.... Jericho hangs on and skims the cat back into the ring!
Sean O'Haire and Edge have been eliminated
Jericho and Christian lock eyes and the two former best friends begin to slug it out. Neither man gives an inch as they go blow for blow. Knee to the gut by Christian and he attempts to toss Y2J..... Jericho blocks it on the ropes and connects with the Enziguri! Christian over the top but he hangs on barely. Jericho tries to force him off as Edge come into the ring with a steel chair. Shot to the lower back of Jericho! Edge bails and Christian gets back into the ring. Y2J looks lifeless and Christian grabs a handful of hair before tossing him out over the top rope!
Winner: And number one contender, Christian!
Christian falls to his knee's as the bell sounds. Beniot leaves JR and the King and gets on stage. He looks down at Christian who is showing that the belt will be around his waist. Beniot holds the title up for Christian to see as Raw goes off the air.
