Raw Diva Search

I looked at the top 30 or watever it is on wwe.com then the diva link.. I must say they all look pretty shocking.. you would think they could get some amazingly pretty girls in there but I only saw 3 max that I would tap.. I mean, come on.. :mad:

Quite frankly, the Raw Diva search is the biggest waste of tv time since the Katie Vick angle. Why do they feel the need to show three or four segments on every Raw? This BS excuse for tv is stealing time from guys that arent getting anywhere near enough tv time. Thiese long-legged tarts are getting more airtime than the World Champion, forgod's sake. Its **** like this that is ****ing up WWE. If you think its bad now, wait until the winner debuts! I wouldn't be surprised if the latest bimbo, sorry i mean diva, gets at least 30% of the show to broadcast her talents, aka nice legs, pretty face and a lovely set of "puppies"

What in the hell will the diva do anyway? They can't put her in matches and the 'eye candy' factor will run out quicker then anything.. she will be less useful then Stacy, I mean - at least she is amazing to look at and can get in the ring if need be, but one of her is enough AND we have Lilian Garcia.. what the hell else will she do? Be the "GM Assistant"?? SNORE! Why don't you use Dawn Marie instead of bringing some other ugly ho's?

Instead of starting a new thread - I thought I would bring it up here.. and this Diva search competition can be discussed in here..

I was just thinking (something I don't do too often lol) and I was browsing through the diva competitors as well as wallpapers of girls, and it was then that I realised that Amy Weber, who is a finalist is actually a famous model.. I don't know if it is me being ignorant or what, but did anyone else realise how famous the Amy Weber girl already is? And all this time I thought Carmilla would win.. I think Amy might be in!

Carmella is also quite famous. She was Playboy Playmate of the year in 2004. So she also has a good chance . ;)

Fair enough lol.. I just thought it was funny that I was so ignorant to the fact of who the contestant was.. I have actual wallpapers of Amy on my computer somewhere and I didn't even click.. that's what I thought was really funny. I was trying to see if anyone else had skipped over the fact. I mean the girl has over a million hits a day on amyweber.net or something like that.

Note: I really wish the forum had more going on - Noodle, you seem like the only one here to talk to at the moment, lol.

Well she sure is and I recognised her from wallpapers and things actually.. to see go to skins.be and then go down to Models, she has her own link - which is a great accomplishment and not something the other hopefuls have.. but you should at least check it out. Seeing her site is also a way to see how famous she really is - makes you wonder how she will have time to be on the road with WWE if she has all these commitments but we never know, she may just want WWE diva job.

I actually think this whole idea will fail. They can't wrestle, so there isn't much to do for them. I say we won't see the winner ever on TV after this. She'll probably just get the money and make one appearance, but we'll have to wait and see ...

Yeah I was close to saying the same thing - since then though I have given a bit of slack and letting WWE show me where it takes the Diva search. One thing I must say is that an in ring debut could be great, BUT how long would it take to get a diva ready for this? Amy Weber for instance, was in an exclusive interview and it was stated "Although Amy is not prepared for a full wrestling schedule, and prefers to have a role similar to that of Stacy Keibler, she is not opposed to training for a wrestling debut. She does understand that she'll never be like Gail Kim in the ring, but is definitely up for trying if WWE feels it would improve her character." - this is a great thing for her to say and to try to do this for WWE. Good luck to her I say, she seems like a nice and great girl.

One thing I must say though is how stupid are WWE for offering ONE MILLION for the Tough Enough winner - a contract should be enough for someone who REALLY wants to be a WWE superstar - think about THAT.

Exactly. The winner of TE anyway will probably not make it to WWE, and just get sent to OVW or if they're lucky, they will make it to Heat. Name one TE winner that has actually been given a chance. Makes you think why they still run the competition.

This I think is similar to the Diva Competition.

I actually liked TE but I think that instead of having all kinds of people who come out of nowhere, they should have experienced wrestlers going for it. I could just imagine seeing Bob Holly showing up and trying to work stiff with someone like Low Ki. I'd pay to see that.

Bringing back this topic - wasn't it interesting how everyone has turned on Carmella? I really cannot tell if this is pure truth, if all the girls do indeed hate Carmella (which seems the case) or if WWE has asked this to happen?! I cannot determine if the WWE want Carmella to win or not - I am boggled..

Personally, if the rumours of her not taking the competition seriously are true, I have no time for her - at the beggining I thought she was great, but since doing some research I am really hoping Amy Weber gets the nod..

One last thing, wasn't it interesting on Monday when Joy (I believe it was her) challenged Carmella to a match? Why don't they do something good and make a mud wrestling event out of this waste of tv? They could have the last girl to be knocked out of the mud pool immuned from elimination for the week.. as long as it is genuine and not staged by WWE I would enjoy this more if kept to a 5 minute segment..

Come on - I know we all hate the diva search in ways, but it is still something I would like to discuss :)
