A video promo is shown of Vengeance. It shows some of the highlights from the events leading up to Vengeance. The promo shows Chris Jericho have to go through all of the Evolution members just to get an opportunity. It goes on to show Chris Jericho getting the upperhand on Triple H thanks to some help from La Resistance. The video promo continues on to show how Chris Benoit won at Bad Blood by disqualification after Edge came out and speared Benoit turning his back on him. It shows how both Edge and Benoit fought each other the very next day on raw until the big red machine Kane came out and destroyed both men demanding a title shot. It shows Kane defeating Edge to become the number one contender and how Edge viciously attacked Benoit to get his shot at the world title. And finally it ends with Bischoff announcing that this triple thread match is now a no disqualification match.
The Vengeance theme music plays while Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomes us live to Hartford, Connecticut rto witness WWE Vengeance. Jim Ross starts telling us how this is the last pay per view before we head to Summerslam in Toronto, Canada. Jim Ross goes on to say that tonight will be the return of Shawn Michaels, after a one month absence he will be returning after receiving some injuries in his hell in a cell match against Triple H at Bad Blood last month. Jim Ross goes on to talk about the number one contenders match for the World Heavyweight Title in a match between Chris Jericho and Triple H and how this feud actually originated since Wrestlemania 18 and tonight Jericho gets a chance of redemption. And of course the World Heavyweight Title will be on the line here tonight when Chris Benoit will be forced to defend his title against both Edge and Kane in a Triple Thread No Disqualification match here tonight. Jerry Lawler starts saying that he believes Kane will win this match because the last two months Kane has been getting the upperhand on both Edge and the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit but that also Edge has been getting the upperhand on Benoit after he viciously assaulted Benoit two weeks ago and tonight Benoit has alot to lose tonight against two men who are more than ready to become World Champion.
A limo is shown arriving into the parking lot. The limo stops and Triple H, Randy Orton, Ric Flair and Batista come out of the limo as they walk into the arena and they all go to the Evolution locker room.

1st Match
Christian vs Rhyno
Rhyno takes control early in the match by using his strength, Christian noticed this and immediatly went to the outside. Rhyno followed him as Christian immediatly threw Rhyno face first into the turnbuckle. Christian continued the assault until he brought his opponent back in the ring where he hit a reverse ddt for a nearfall. Christian locked on the sleeper hold but Rhyno fought back and was to whip Christian into the turnbuckle followed by a scoop slam. The fans were behind Rhyno as Rhyno hit a T-Bone Suplex for a nearfall. Rhyno went over to Christian as Christian pulled the referee's t-shirt which allowed him to hit the low blow on Rhyno. Christian followed up by hitting the Imprettier. Christian covered Rhyno and put his foot on the rope but the referee saw this and refused to make the count. The match continued on with Christian hitting several back chops on Rhyno into the turnbuckle. Christian tried to end it as he went for a modified Dudley Dog but Rhyno threw Christian into the middle of the ring. Rhyno taunted as Christian got up. All of a sudden Tomko ran down to the ring, Tomko got on the apron and Rhyno punched him knocking him off the apron. Christian came from behind and went for the Imprettier but Rhyno pushed him away. This allowed Rhyno to go for the Gore but Christian made an unbelievable counter as Rhyno hit the Gore Christian caught his head and dropped him for the DDT. Both men were out cold as the referee made the count. Both men began to slowly get up, at this point Christian went for the Imprettier but Rhyno was able to counter and hit the Razors Edge for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Rhyno via pinfall

After the match Tomko helped Christian out of the ring as Rhyno began to celebrate his victory by raising his arm in victory. Tomko dragged Christian all the way to the back while Christian turned around and the saw Rhyno celebrating.

Matt Hardy is shown getting ready for his match as Lita is standing next to him. Lita asks Matt Hardy if he is going to be able to take care of this. Matt Hardy says that he is more than ready to take care of Test and make sure that you don't have to spend a night with Test. Lita response by telling Matt Hardy thanks and that she is going to watch from the back and to make sure Test doesn't win. Lita goes on to ask Matt Hardy what happens if A-Train tries to interfer again, Matt responds by saying he has a plan to make sure he won't cost him his match against Test tonight. Matt Hardy gets up, kisses her and walks away telling her he won't let her down.

2nd Match
If Test wins Lita has to spend a night with him
Test vs Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy staresdown Test as both men lock up and somehow Matt Hardy overpowers Test and hits a backbreaker. This furious, anger, strength comes out of Matt Hardy as Matt hit a jumping ddt followed by a leg drop. Instead of going for the cover Matt Hardy throws Test through the ropes. Matt dives through the ropes into a missile clothesline. The fans began to chant "holy ****" while Matt slowly got up and went for the Twist of Fate but Test picked up Matt and threw him into the crowd as Matt landed on some fans. Test went to the ring while the referee made the count but Matt got back in the ring in time. This allowed Test to go for the big boot but Matt Hardy dropkicked him on his leg. Matt hit the shoulder tackle on Test's knee. Matt went up to stomp his knee. Matt went for the Figure Four Leg Lock but Test pushed Matt Hardy. Both men got up as Test kicked Matt in the gut followed by a pumphandle slam but Matt Hardy countered with a modified Twist of Fate. Instead of going for the cover Matt went to the outside and took out a table. Matt brought the table in the ring and set it up in the corner. The referee told him to stop but Matt punched the referee knocking him out cold. Matt Hardy went for another Twist of Fate on Test but A-Train ran down to the ring. Both A-Train and Matt Hardy began to exchange right punches. All of a sudden Test went for the big boot but Matt ducked and Test hit the big boot on A-Train as A-Train fell right through the table. All of a sudden out came Lita, Test went for the pumphandle slam on Matt but Lita grabbed Test by his neck and tried to choke him. Test pushed Lita down as Matt Hardy hit the low blow on Test and went for the twist of fate and hit it. Lita went on to climb to the top turnbuckle and hit the moonsault. Matt covered Test while Lita woke the referee up and the referee made the three count giving the victory to Matt Hardy V.1.
Winner: Matt Hardy via pinfall

After the match Lita hugged Matt Hardy. They both began to celebrate before leaving the ring. A-Train helped Test up to his feet while they stared down Matt Hardy and Lita who were walking to the back with smiles on their faces and the fans chanting for Lita and Matt Hardy.

Randy Orton is shown backstage being interviewed by Mark Lloyd. Mark asks the Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton if he is nervous about his match coming up next. Randy says how can he be nervous when he is going to be taking on this wanna-be Randy Orton. Mark asks Orton how is Shelton being a Randy Orton wanna-be? Randy Orton answers by saying Benjamin has been trying to prove how tough he is by stepping up to my face and not taking any bull**** from anyone but that coming up next he is going to make Shelton Benjamin his bitch. Orton walks away as Mark just looks at him walking away to the entrance area.

Shelton Benjamin is shown being interviewed by Ivory. Ivory asks Shelton Benjamin since coming to Raw, how does it feel to have defeated every member of Evolution and how does it feel in getting a rematch? Shelton Benjamin answers by saying very few men can say they have defeated every member of Evolution but Shelton Benjamin says that he is proud to be one of those few men. Shelton Benjamin goes on to talk about that the Intercontinental Title is the title you need to make a name for yourself in this company and that is what he is going to do. He is going to win the Intercontinental Title and prove to every single raw superstar that Shelton Benjamin is a force not to be messed with unless you want to get your ass kicked. Ivory thanks Benjamin for the interview as Benjamin walks away. Ivory walks up but Trish Stratus accidently bumbs into her. Trish tells Ivory that to get her old ass out of her way. Ivory tells Trish that she better be careful what she says because if he doesn't she's going to kick Trish's ass again. All of a sudden Bischoff seperates the two women and tells Trish Stratus to leave and she does. Bischoff then tells Ivory that tonight there is a triple thread match for the Womens Title and Lita was suppose to participate in it but Lita has left to celebrate with Matt Hardy and so she won't be able to wrestle tonight so since Ivory has her differences against Trish, Bischoff wants Ivory to replace Lita. Ivory agrees and Bischoff says thats a good thing because he has to go prepair for his match. Ivory smiles as she walks away.

A video package is shown of Randy Orton versus Shelton Benjamin at Bad Blood and how the referee was out cold. It shows Orton hitting the RKO on Benjamin and covering him and Orton picked up the referees hand and dropped it three times giving the match "illegally" to Randy Orton. It goes on to show Benjamin telling Orton that the board of directors have decided to give Benjamin a re-match at Vengeance because their match at Bad Blood wasn't official. It goes on to show Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin fighting back and forth in their six man elimination tag team match. It goes on to show both men staring each other down.

3rd Match
Intercontinental Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs Shelton Benjamin
The fans cheered out loud as both Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin locked on. Benjamin was able to get the upperhand by hitting the firemans carry. Shelton followed up by hitting a swinging neckbreaker. Benjamin rolled up Orton but Orton kicked out. Randy Orton was able to counter after hitting a quick suplex. Orton went on to hit the overdrive for a nearfall. Orton taunted the fans as he brought the match to the outside. Orton dragged Benjamin into the entrance ramp. Orton went for the piledriver but Benjamin backdropped Orton to the delight of the crowd. Orton slowly got up and Benjamin took advantage and hit the superkick knocking Orton down. Benjamin went on to jump on the barricade and jump off hitting a flying clothesline. Shelton tried to do it again but this time Randy Orton was able to catch Shelton Benjamin and hit a powerslam. It took a while before both men could get up as Benjamin took Randy Orton back into the ring as he whipped Orton into the turnbuckle. Benjamin followed up by hitting the Stinger Splash followed by a modified fame-asser from the top turnbuckle. Benjamin went on to roll up Orton for a nearfall. Benjamin couldn't believe it as he picked up Orton and Orton immediatly went for the RKO but Benjamin pushed him away and charged him. Orton was able to catch Benjamin and hit the spinebuster. Orton went on to stomp Benjamin before he picked him up and dropped him for a spinebuster. Orton followed up by hitting an elbow drop. The match continued on with Randy Orton hitting a ddt. Orton picked up Benjamin and Benjamin somehow countered with a belly to back suplex. Benjamin continued the assault by hitting a modified super suplex from the top turnbuckle. Benjamin called for the end as he hit a german suplex on Orton as Orton landed on his head. All of a sudden Ric Flair ran down to the ring. Flair ran in and Benjamin caught him and dropped him for the Benjamin Slam. Orton got up and tried to attack Benjamin but Benjamin countered with a superkick. Shelton Benjamin went to the outside as he took out a table from under the ring and set the table up in the middle of the ring. Benjamin put Orton on the table as Benjamin climbed to the top turnbuckle. Benjamin jumped off and went for a big splash but somehow Orton got up in a second and was able to catch Benjamin and hit the RKO in mid-air right through the table. Both men layed out cold as Orton slowly covered Benjamin but somehow Benjamin kicked out after a two count. Orton picked up Benjamin and Benjamin somehow hit a modified powerslam. All of a sudden Ric Flair and Batista ran down to the ring as Flair ran into the ring and charged Shelton as Benjamin went on to throw Ric Flair over the top rope as the fans cheered out loud. All of a sudden Evolution's power monster Batista ran into the ring. Benjamin taunted Orton as he turned around and Batista was able to hit a vicious clothesline knocking Benjamin out cold as the referee rang the bell and ended this match in disqualification.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin via disqualification

After the match Batista helped Randy Orton up to his feet as the referee gave Orton the intercontinental title as Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton picked up Benjamin and all three began to attack Shelton Benjamin until the World Tag Team Champions La Resistance ran down to the ring with chairs. The fans cheered out loud as La Resistance chased Evolution from the ring with the chairs. La Resistance helped Benjamin up to his feet as Evolution walked to the back with a furious look in their faces while the fans cheered out loud for Shelton Benjamin, Sylvian Grenier and Rob Conway while Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton went backstage.

Mark Lloyd is shown interviewing Chris Benoit. Mark asks Benoit if he is ready to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Edge and Kane. Benoit says that ever since Edge turned on him he has been ready to defend his title against both Edge and Kane. Benoit says that at Bad Blood Edge turned on him but tonight he knows what he has to do. Benoit says that Edge is someone he will have to look out for because this match is a no disqualification match so anything is allowed. Benoit goes on to say that Kane is a monster and if this is a no disqualification match then Kane has the ability to do anything they want. Mark was about to continue the interview until Edge stepped into the shot. Edge gets face to face with Benoit and tells him that he better take a long look at the World Heavyweight Title because tonight will be the last night Benoit will ever held the World Heavyweight Title. Edge walks away with a smile as Benoit stares him down.

4rd Match
World Tag Team Championship
La Resistance (c) vs The Hurricane & Rosey
The match began between Sylvian Grenier and The Hurricane as the fans cheered out loud for La Resistance. Grenier takes control by hitting a reverse ddt followed by a knee drop. The Hurricane fought back though after hitting the swinging neckbreaker. The Hurricane went on to hit a modified frankensteiner from the top turnbuckle for a nearfall. Sylvian Grenier fought back which allowed him to tag in Rob Conway and The Hurricane tagged in Rosey. Rosey ran in and clotheslined Rob Conway. Grenier went for the suplex but he couldn't pick him up and Rosey hit the belly to back suplex as Grenier immediatly rolled out of the ring. Rosey went to the attack on Conway hitting a suplex. The Hurricane went to the top turnbuckle as The Hurricane jumped on Rosey's shoulders and jumped off hitting the big splash on Conway. Rosey covered Conway but Grenier ran in and hit the dropkick to the back of the head of Rosey. The Hurricane tried to help Rosey but Conway hit a modified cross body slam knocking the hurricane out of the ring. Grenier picked up Rosey and both La Resistance somehow hit a double ddt as Conway covered Rosey for the pinfall victory and La Resistance retains their tag team titles.
Winners: Sylvian Grenier and Rob Conway via pinfall and still tag team champions

After the match La Resistance celebrated their victory until Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton came out. Evolution slowly walked down to the ring while La Resistance got ready to fight. All of a sudden Shelton Benjamin came out through the crowd and grabbed a chair as Benjamin stood in front of La Resistance. Evolution saw this and walked to the back while Orton pointed to Benjamin and told him that this isn't over. Benjamin just smiles as Benjamin's music plays while Evolution leaves and goes backstage while the fans cheered out loud for Shelton Benjamin.

The Coach is seen talking to both Garrison Cade and Chuck Palumbo. The Coach tells both men that they did a great job last week on Raw in defeating The Hurricane and Rosey. The Coach goes on to say that they defeated the hurricane and rosey last week and tonight the hurricane and rosey are still getting a shot at the tag team titles. The Coach goes on to say thats fine because this is just the beginning and that this team is still strong and this team will win and on Raw I'm going to go straight to Eric Bischoff's office and demand a shot at the tag team titles. Cade and Palumbo tell The Coach that he better because this is a tag team that is ready to become the tag team champions even though we only had one tag team match. The Coach says that they don't need to face anyone else because from what we saw last week on Raw this team is more than ready. The Coach smiles along with Cade and Palumbo.

Once the ring is cleared Shawn Michaels music plays throughout the arena while the fans went crazy as almost every fan in the building stood on their feet and cheered for HBK as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels walked out. Shawn walked down to the ring and got a mic. The fans began to quite down as Shawn Michaels began to talk about how good it feels to be back in the WWE ring. Shawn Michaels began to talk about that he has only been out for a month but it felt like forever. Shawn Michaels continued talking about since his accident at Bad Blood in the hell in a cell match against Triple H, HBK hasn't been the same. Shawn goes on to talk about that Triple H is getting a # 1 contendership match for the World Heavyweight Title and that it was Shawn that defeated Triple H at Bad Blood and all of a sudden he's getting a shot to be the # 1 contender. Shawn goes on to say that HBK is back and better than ever. Shawn Michaels continues to talk about Triple H's match against Chris Jericho, Shawn says that he is very interested in this match so Shawn says that he will be at ringside to watch this match. Shawn Michaels dropped the mic and went backstage while the fans chanted "HBK."

5th Match
Womens Championship
Trish Stratus (c) vs Ivory vs Jazz
The match began with Trish Stratus and Jazz double teaming Ivory. Both Trish and Jazz hit a double suplex on Ivory. Trish immediatly went for the cover but Jazz pulled Trish from Ivory and hit punch knocking Trish down as Trish rolled out of the ring. Trish went on to pick up Ivory and go for a powerbomb but Ivory countered with a modified x-factor. Ivory covered Jazz but Trish hit Ivory in the back of the head. Trish Stratus whipped Ivory into the turnbuckle and went for a clothesline but Ivory ducked and bounced off the ropes and hit the spear on Trish as Ivory threw some punches. Jazz pulled Ivory from behind and hit a suplex. Both Jazz and Trish Stratus began to double team Ivory and hit a double ddt. The double team continued to attack Ivory as they hit a double powerbomb on Ivory. Both Trish and Jazz began to fight each other as Trish went for the stratusfaction and was able to hit it but instead of covering Jazz, Trish hit a ddt on Ivory and covered her and put her foot on the ropes for leverage to pick up the pinfall.
Winner: Trish Stratus via pinfall and still Womens Champion

After the match Trish Stratus raised the womens title. Trish Stratus went on to grab a mic and say that she is the most dominant female wrestler of all time and that she is the greatest Womens Champion of all time. Trish Stratus goes on to make an open challenge to every female (diva) wrestler in a Battle Royal two weeks from now on Monday Night Raw. Trish Stratus says that any diva (female wrestler) can enter this match and that she is so confident she is willing to put her womens title on the line. Trish drops the mic and goes backstage with a smile.

A video promo is shown advertising Summerslam in Toronto, Canada. The promo says "Raw & Smackdown (Y2J World Champ & Cena316) Presents WWE Summerslam live on pay per view. The fans cheer out loud as they see that Summerslam will be taking place in Canada.
Chris Jericho is shown backstage being interviewed by Mark Lloyd. Mark asks Jericho if he is prepared to take on Triple H coming up next. Jericho answers by saying that he has been waiting for this chance for more than two years. Ever since Wrestlemania 18 he has been wanted to get a chance to get a World Heavyweight Title Shot. Jericho goes on to say that he hasn't taken the World Heavyweight Title serious but now its all different because his career status is on the line. Jericho goes on to call Triple H an "assclown." And that this assclown is about to get his ass kicked by Y2Jericho. Jericho goes on to say that after the jericholics out there witness the victory over Triple H, he is heading to Summerslam to fight for the World Heavyweight Title and that is something Jericho promises. Jericho walks away as Mark Lloyd sees him leave.
Triple H is shown backstage talking to Ric Flair. Flair reminds Triple H that this match is more important than any match he has ever had. Flair goes on tell Triple H that he has been told that he won't be able to accompany him down to the ring and so Triple H has to be ready to fight Chris Jericho and kick his ass. Triple H tells Flair that he knows whats on the line and he is going to make sure that Jericho will pay for everything he has done. Triple H begins to walk out of the locker room.

A video package is shown from Jericho/HHH match from Wrestlemania 18. It shows Triple H defeating Jericho. It goes on to show Triple H talking about how he is proud that he took out Shawn Michaels at Bad Blood in which Jericho walked down to the ring and told Triple H that he is sick and tired of his big fat mouth. It goes on to show Bischoff announcing that if he wants to face Triple H he has to defeat every Evolution member. We head to Raw where Jericho defeated Flair first, then Batista, then Orton, but then Triple H won after countless interferences by Evolution. It goes on to show Bischoff telling Jericho he has one more chance in which both men have to choose a superstar to represent them. And if Jerichos pick wins then Y2J faces HHH at Vengeance in a # 1 contenders match. Jericho chose The Rock and HHH chose Batista. In the end The Rock won and Jericho will get his chance to face Triple H. In the last Raw before Vengeance footage is shown of Jericho defeating Batista in a grueling match as Jericho made a staredown to Triple H as Triple H seemed angry and Jericho just smiled.

6th Match
# 1 Contenders Match for the World Heavyweight Title
Chris Jericho vs Triple H
Both men made a staredown as the fans chanted out loud for Jericho. The match began with a lock-up. Both men refuse to give up until Triple H kicked Jericho in the gut. Triple H followed up by punching Jericho in the head before hitting a high knee kick to Jericho knocking him down. Triple H went on to stomp Jericho. Triple H taunted Jericho as he picked him up and hit the back chop but Jericho countered with the back chop. Both men exchanged back chops until Jericho hit Triple H harder. Jericho went on to whip Triple H into the turnbuckle and hit the spinning wheel kick knocking Triple H out of the ring. Jericho went on to go to the outside and take Triple H up the ramp. Jericho went on to hit a suplex. Jericho picked up Triple H but Triple H was able to hit a back drop. Triple H dragged Jericho back into the ring where he hit a clothesline followed by a cover for a nearfall. Triple H was then able to hit a ddt followed by a ddt. Triple H taunted the fans as the fans gave Triple H heat. Triple H began to try to lock on the Walls of Jericho but Jericho got to the ropes in time. Instead Triple H locked on the Figure Four Leg Lock. This lasted for while until Triple H locked on the sleeper hold but Jericho countered with a chin-breaker. Jericho went on to hit a dropkick knocking Triple H down. Jericho pushed Triple H into the turnbuckle where Jericho was able to hit a superplex for a nearfall. Jericho waited for Triple H to get up as Jericho went for a bulldog but Triple H caught him and hit a modified fisherman suplex. Triple H brought the match outside. Triple H threw Jericho into the steel steps. Triple H slowly picked up Jericho and picked him up. Triple H threw Jericho into the barricade. Triple H brought the match back into the ring and was about to hit the pedigree but Shawn Michaels music played and out came Shawn Michaels. Triple H threw Jericho down and looked at Shawn coming down to the ring. Shawn stood at ringside as Triple H went after Jericho and Jericho was able to hit the roll up but somehow triple h kicked out just in time. Jericho immediatly hit several suplexes for a nearfall. Jericho went for the Lionsault but Triple H rolled out of the way but Jericho landed on his feet. Jericho went on to kick Triple H in the gut and throw him into the turnbuckle. Jericho put Triple h at the top turnbuckle and went for the frankensteiner but Triple H countered with a powerbomb as the fans began to chant "holy ****." Triple H went on to hit a knee drop for a nearfall. The fans got behind Jericho while Triple H hit a ddt. Triple H went over to Shawn and said something to him before going after Jericho again. Triple H went on to hit the brainbuster followed by a single leg crab. Jericho screamed in pain as he tried to get to the ropes but Triple H brought him back into the middle of the ring. Somehow Jericho was able to counter it and lock on the Walls of Jericho. Triple H screamed in pain while the fans cheered out loud. Triple H was able to use his strength to get to the ropes in time. Jericho continued the assault by hitting a german suplex pin for a two count. Jericho tried to end this match by hitting a bulldog followed by the Lionsault. Jericho covered Triple H while the fans counted along with the referee and soemhow Triple H kicked out just before the referee reached to the count of three. Jericho seemed surprised as Jericho went to the outside and took out a ladder. Jericho set the ladder at ringside while Shawn Michaels just looked on. Jericho walked all the way up to the ladder and Triple H saw this and got up quickly. Triple H pushed the ladder and Jericho landed on several fans 15 feet high. The fans chanted "holy ****" while the security guards near jericho helped him off some of the fans and helped Jericho to his feet. Jericho couldn't get up and Jericho just laid there. Triple H slowly went to the outside and jumped over the barricade and picked up Jericho. Triple H grabbed a chair nearby and smashed the chair over Jericho's head while blood poured down Jericho's face. Triple H threw Jericho back at ringside. Triple H went back at ringside as well while Triple H said something to Shawn as Shawn just looked on. Triple brought the match back into the ring where Triple H went for a pedigree but Jericho countered and hit the low blow while the referee wasn't looking. Jericho went on to hit a enzuguri. Both men layed out cold while the referee made the count. Finally Jericho was able to put one arm on top of Triple H and so the referee made the count 1.........2.......kick out by Triple H shocking the fans. All of a sudden Triple H brought a chair and a sledgehammer into the ring. Triple H threw the sledgehammer on the mat and was about to hit Jericho with the chair but the referee took the chair away and was giving it to the ring announcer and telling him something. Triple H picked up the sledgehammer and was about to hit Jericho but Shawn ran into the ring and hit the superkick to Triple H knocking him down. Shawn dived out of the ring while Jericho took advantage and was able to hit the Lionsault to the delight of the crowd. The referee went on to make the count 1...............2..............3 Jericho has defeated Triple H to become the # 1 contender. The fans began to chant for Y2J while Jericho stood on his knees and raised his arms in victory while Triple H slowly got up.

After the match Chris Jericho climbed to the second turnbuckle and raised his arms in victory while Shawn Michaels entered the ring and shook Jericho's hand while Jericho went to the back. Shawn got on one knee and said something to Triple H. Shawn Michaels went on to pick up a chair and waited for Triple H to get up and the fans chanted for HBK. Once Triple H stood up, Shawn threw the chair to Triple H and Triple H caught the chair. Shawn went on to hit the Sweet Chin Music right into the chair into Triple H's face. Triple H began to bleed all over his forehead while Shawn walked out of the ring and went backstage while the fans chanted for Shawn Michaels.

A video package is shown of William Regal wrestling on both Raw and Smackdown. It goes on to show Bischoff telling Regal that he has found out about him being on Raw and Smackdown and that he wants Regal out of Raw for good, this all happened while Eugene stood next to Bischoff. Bischoff goes on to tell Regal that he has had a long discussion with the boards of directors and that they have thought of the perfect plan to fix all this. And the plan is that at Vengeance it will be Eric Bischoff vs William Regal, If Regal loses he stays on Smackdown and leaves Raw but because this match has to be fair, if Regal wins he becomes the New GM of Raw. Both men agree as the video package goes on to show Eric Bischoff costing Regal's tag team title match at the Great American Bash. The video package ends with Eugene accidently costing Regal's match as Bischoff hugs Eugene and Regal looks on in disgust.
Before the match began Eric Bischoff came out down to the ring wearing his karate clothes. Bischoff said that this match was too important to be refereed by Charles Robinson. Bischoff goes on to tell Charles Robinson to go backstage and he does. Bischoff then says that there is only one man who can referee this match and that man is Eugene. Out came Eugene wearing a referee t-shirt as the fans seemed shocked but also cheered for Eugene. Eugene entered the ring.

William Regal vs Eric Bischoff
Special Guest Referee: Eugene
Both William Regal and Eric Bischoff made a quick staredown. Finally the match began with Regal hitting Bischoff over the head. Regal continued on to lock on the sleeper hold as Bischoff reached out and grabbed the ropes. Bischoff went on to roll out of the ring as Regal went after him. Bischoff began to run around the ring while Regal chased him. Eugene began to make the count. Bischoff ran back into the ring as Regal entered the ring. At this point Bischoff jumped on Regals back and tried to choke him as Eugene pulled Bischoff off of Regal. Eugene started telling Bischoff that he cannot do that. All of a sudden Regal went for a clothesline on Bischoff but Bischoff pulled Eugene in front of him and Regal accidently knocked Eugene down. Regal checked on Eugene as Bischoff came from behind and hit the low blow. Bischoff went on to bring a chair into the ring and attacking Regal with the chair by hitting him in his back. Bischoff went on to help Eugene up to his feet while Eugene slowly got up. Bischoff picked up Regal and went for the ddt and hit it. Bischoff went on to go for the elbow drop from the top turnbuckle but Regal rolled out of the way and Bischoff landed hard in the ring. Regal was about to attack Eric Bischoff but then Eugene took off his smirk smile and had a serious look in his face as Eugene picked up the chair and smashed it over William Regal's head. Eugene went on to put Bischoff on top of Regal as Eugene made a quick three count.

After the match Eugene helped Eric Bischoff up to his feet as Bischoff asked for a mic. Eugene then got a mic from the ring announcer and gave it to Eric Bischoff. Bischoff went on to call out security guards as 10 security guards came down to the ring. Bischoff went on to remind William Regal that if Regal lost he would leave Raw. Bischoff went on to tell the security guards to escort William Regal out of the arena. The security guards grabbed William Regal and dragged him out of the ring and to the back as the guards escorted Regal out of the arena. Bischoff wasn't done as he thanked his nephew "Nick" Dinsmore for the help as Nick grabbed a mic and said that this was a plan to get revenge on Regal. If anyone wants to know why we wanted revenge because a long time ago William Regal turned his back on WCW in which Bischoff was the boss. Regal left WCW and left Bischoff in the cold and a few months ago Uncle Bischoff called me and so we thought of a great plan and this is the ending of Regal but the beginning of "Nick Dinsmore". Dinsmore and Eric Bischoff went to the back while the fans gave heat to both men, especially at Dinsmore as the fans chanted "you suck."

Eric Bischoff is shown drinking champagne with Nick Dinsmore in Bischoff's office when Johnathan Coachman, Garrison Cade and Chuck Palumbo walked in. The Coach congratulated Bischoff on his victory and said that he would like to introduce to Bischoff his two prodigy. Bischoff shook both Cade's and Palumbo's hand. The Coach went on to ask Bischoff that this is the newest tag team on Raw and that this team has potential to become tag team champions so Coach asks for a tag team title match. Bischoff responds by saying he would like to but they have to prove to him that they deserve it so on Raw it is going to be Garrison Cade and Chuck Palumbo vs Mysterio Opponents. The Coach says thats fine and walks out of the office with Cade and Chuck.
Chris Benoit shown backstage sitting down in a chair looking at the World Heavyweight Title. Benoit gets up and puts the World Title around his waist as he walks out of the locker room and walks down the hall. The camera shot changes to a locker room where Edge is shown walking out. The camera shot changes one more time in which it shows Kane walking down the hall with an angry look in his face. The fans began to chant for Chris Benoit while they saw all three men.

A video package is shown of how the feud of Chris Benoit/Edge/Kane began. The video package starts off in Bad Blood where Benoit took on Kane. Both men wrestled extremely well until Edge came out and hit Benoit over the head, which means Benoit wins by disqualification. It goes on to show Chris Benoit taking on Edge on Raw. Both men fought back and forth until Kane came out and chokeslammed both men. A week later Eric Bischoff tells Edge that he will face Kane in a Number One Contenders Match. Kane would go on to win the match and Bischoff gave Edge one more chance to prove he deserves a world title shot. Edge proved it by viciously attacking Benoit at the parking lot. A week later Eric Bischoff announces that Benoit will defend his World Heavyweight Title against both Edge and Kane. The video package continues on to show Benoit forcing Edge tap out to the Crossface in the six man elimination match last week. After the match Benoit was showed busted open and barely getting up as Kane walked down to the ring. Kane taunted Benoit until Benoit went for the crossface but Kane rolled out of the ring. The video package ends with Benoit, Edge, and Kane standing in the middle of the ring staring each other down while the crowd cheered out loud.

Chris Benoit (c) vs Edge vs Kane
Before the match began Jim Ross reminded us that the winner of this match will defend their World Heavyweight Title against Chris Jericho at Summerslam. The match began with both Edge and Kane double teaming Chris Benoit. Edge and Kane exchanged punches to Benoit. Edge hit a suplex on Benoit until Kane picked up Benoit and hit a powerbomb. Edge covered Benoit but Kane pulled Edge off and stared at Edge almost telling him he just made a huge mistake. Kane grabbed Edge by his neck and picked him up. Kane threw Edge over the top rope while Benoit slowly got up. Benoit came behind of Kane and hit a german suplex, Benoit went for another german suplex but Kane hit Benoit with an elbow. Kane went on to hit a clothesline. Edge ran back into the ring and hit a bulldog on Kane. Kane immediatly got up while Edge hit a clothesline followed by a dropkick knocking Kane out of the ring. Edge immediatly went after Benoit and hit a reverse ddt followed by a leg drop for a nearfall. Edge picked up Benoit and Benoit knocked Edge down and locked on the Crippler Crossface. Edge got to the ropes in time while Kane ran back into the ring and hit the big boot knocking Benoit down. Kane went on to throw Benoit into the turnbuckle and hit a clothesline and a spear. Edge came from behind Kane and locked on the sleeper hold by jumping on Kane. Kane tried to get out of it but Edge refused to let go. Edge kept the sleeper hold locked on until Benoit came from behind and hit a dropkick on Kane and Kane fell right on Edge. Edge began to hold his ribs while Benoit went after Kane and locked on the armlock. It took a while before Kane picked up Benoit with one hand drop him for a gutwrench suplex for a nearfall. Kane called for the end when he picked up Benoit and went for the tombstone and Kane was able to hit the tombstone. Kane was about to go for the cover but Edge hit a spinning heel kick to the back of Kane's head. Kane turned to Edge and both men began to exchange punches back and forth. Kane was able to get the upperhand and hit the clothesline. Kane picked Edge up and hit the brainbuster. Benoit went on and climbed to the top turnbuckle. Benoit went for the headbutt but Kane caught him and hit the powerslam for a nearfall. Kane went on to go for the high leg drop but Benoit rolled out of the ring. Kane slowly got up and once he stood up Edge charged him and hit the spear. Edge pinned Kane but Kane kicked out in time. Instead of continuing the attack on Kane Edge went to the outside and went after Benoit. Edge was about to throw Benoit into the steel steps but Benoit countered and threw Edge into the steel steps instead. Benoit went on to hit a german release suplex on Edge. Benoit was about to go back into the ring but an incredible dive from Kane as Kane jumped from the top turnbuckle and hit the flying clothesline knocking Benoit down. Kane threw both Benoit and Edge back into the ring. Kane called for the end. Kane picked up both Benoit and Edge and grabbed them by their necks. Kane went for the double chokeslam but Benoit and Edge knocked Kane down. Benoit locked on the Crippler Crossface while Edge locked on the Texas Clover-Leaf on Kane. Both Edge and Benoit had a double submission locked on Kane but Kane was too close to the ropes and the holds had to be broken up. Both Benoit and Edge began to exchange back chops but Benoits chops were much more harder. Edge fell into the turnbuckle and Benoit was able to put Edge on the top turnbuckle. Benoit climbed to the top turnbuckle as well and hit a super super plex. The fans began to chant "holy ****" while all three men layed in the ring. Kane was the first man up. Kane went after Benoit and threw him to the outside. Kane dragged Benoit up the steel ramp. Kane went over to the announcers table and tried to hit the chokeslam 10 feet high from the announcers table where J.R. and the King were. Kane raised Benoit high but Benoit kicked Kane in the face. Kane turned around in which allowed Benoit to hit the German Suplex on Kane right on the entrance ramp. Benoit leaves Kane there and goes back into the ring where he hit the clothesline on Edge. Benoit tried to lock on the armlock but Edge countered with the headlock. Benoit countered the headlock with a bearhug and somehow Edge countered with a sleeper hold. And again Benoit countered with a neckbreaker for a nearfall. Benoit slowly got up and so did Edge. Kane also walked down to the ring. Kane grabbed a chair from under the ring and ran back into the ring. Kane hit Benoit over the head with a chair. Kane also hit Edge over the head with the chair. Both Benoit and Edge layed out cold while Kane smiled and took out a three by four with barbwire covering the three by four. Kane entered the ring again and picked Benoit up. Kane whipped Benoit into the turnbuckle and tried to hit Benoit with the wood covered in barb wire but Benoit ducked and hit the triple german suplex. Edge slowly got up and Benoit saw this. Benoit picked up the wood and hit Edge over the head with it. Edge bagan to bleed while Benoit threw the wood out of the ring. Benoit saw both men layed out cold in the ring so he picked up the chair and set the chair in the middle of the ring. Benoit picked up Kane and hit the tornado DDT on kane. Kane's head landed on the chair while the fans cheered even louder than before. Edge slowly got up while he tried to whipe the blood of his face. Edge saw his opportunity and grabbed Benoit by his neck. Edge taunted the fans and went for the Edgecution. Edge was about to hit it but somehow out of nowhere Benoit locked on the Crippler Crossface on Edge. Edge tried to grab the ropes but Benoit put even more pressure than before. It took awhile before the fans got even louder. Edge couldn't reach the ropes and had no choice but to tap out to Chris Benoit while Kane was barely getting up.
Winner: Chris Benoit via submission and still World Heavyweight Champion

After the match Chris Benoit grabbed his World Heavyweight Title and raised it over his head while the fans cheered out loud. Kane and Edge rolled out of the ring while Benoit continued to celebrate his victory with the fans while the fans raised there arms in victory as well. All of a sudden Chris Jericho walked down to the ring and entered the ring. Benoit celebrated on the second turnbuckle before he saw Jericho enter the ring. Jericho and Benoit stood five feet apart. Both men shook hands as a sign of respect. But they didn't let go as both men got face to face to each other while the fans chanted for both Jericho and Benoit. Y2J Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit continued to stare each other down with a serious look from both men but then Kane came from behind and hit a double chokeslam on both Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. Kane was about to raise his arm but Edge charged Kane and hit the Gore. The show went off the air with Edge raising his arm in victory while Benoit, Jericho and Kane layed out cold.

A video promo is shown of Vengeance. It shows some of the highlights from the events leading up to Vengeance. The promo shows Chris Jericho have to go through all of the Evolution members just to get an opportunity. It goes on to show Chris Jericho getting the upperhand on Triple H thanks to some help from La Resistance. The video promo continues on to show how Chris Benoit won at Bad Blood by disqualification after Edge came out and speared Benoit turning his back on him. It shows how both Edge and Benoit fought each other the very next day on raw until the big red machine Kane came out and destroyed both men demanding a title shot. It shows Kane defeating Edge to become the number one contender and how Edge viciously attacked Benoit to get his shot at the world title. And finally it ends with Bischoff announcing that this triple thread match is now a no disqualification match.
The Vengeance theme music plays while Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomes us live to Hartford, Connecticut rto witness WWE Vengeance. Jim Ross starts telling us how this is the last pay per view before we head to Summerslam in Toronto, Canada. Jim Ross goes on to say that tonight will be the return of Shawn Michaels, after a one month absence he will be returning after receiving some injuries in his hell in a cell match against Triple H at Bad Blood last month. Jim Ross goes on to talk about the number one contenders match for the World Heavyweight Title in a match between Chris Jericho and Triple H and how this feud actually originated since Wrestlemania 18 and tonight Jericho gets a chance of redemption. And of course the World Heavyweight Title will be on the line here tonight when Chris Benoit will be forced to defend his title against both Edge and Kane in a Triple Thread No Disqualification match here tonight. Jerry Lawler starts saying that he believes Kane will win this match because the last two months Kane has been getting the upperhand on both Edge and the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit but that also Edge has been getting the upperhand on Benoit after he viciously assaulted Benoit two weeks ago and tonight Benoit has alot to lose tonight against two men who are more than ready to become World Champion.
A limo is shown arriving into the parking lot. The limo stops and Triple H, Randy Orton, Ric Flair and Batista come out of the limo as they walk into the arena and they all go to the Evolution locker room.

1st Match
Christian vs Rhyno
Rhyno takes control early in the match by using his strength, Christian noticed this and immediatly went to the outside. Rhyno followed him as Christian immediatly threw Rhyno face first into the turnbuckle. Christian continued the assault until he brought his opponent back in the ring where he hit a reverse ddt for a nearfall. Christian locked on the sleeper hold but Rhyno fought back and was to whip Christian into the turnbuckle followed by a scoop slam. The fans were behind Rhyno as Rhyno hit a T-Bone Suplex for a nearfall. Rhyno went over to Christian as Christian pulled the referee's t-shirt which allowed him to hit the low blow on Rhyno. Christian followed up by hitting the Imprettier. Christian covered Rhyno and put his foot on the rope but the referee saw this and refused to make the count. The match continued on with Christian hitting several back chops on Rhyno into the turnbuckle. Christian tried to end it as he went for a modified Dudley Dog but Rhyno threw Christian into the middle of the ring. Rhyno taunted as Christian got up. All of a sudden Tomko ran down to the ring, Tomko got on the apron and Rhyno punched him knocking him off the apron. Christian came from behind and went for the Imprettier but Rhyno pushed him away. This allowed Rhyno to go for the Gore but Christian made an unbelievable counter as Rhyno hit the Gore Christian caught his head and dropped him for the DDT. Both men were out cold as the referee made the count. Both men began to slowly get up, at this point Christian went for the Imprettier but Rhyno was able to counter and hit the Razors Edge for the pinfall victory.

After the match Tomko helped Christian out of the ring as Rhyno began to celebrate his victory by raising his arm in victory. Tomko dragged Christian all the way to the back while Christian turned around and the saw Rhyno celebrating.

Matt Hardy is shown getting ready for his match as Lita is standing next to him. Lita asks Matt Hardy if he is going to be able to take care of this. Matt Hardy says that he is more than ready to take care of Test and make sure that you don't have to spend a night with Test. Lita response by telling Matt Hardy thanks and that she is going to watch from the back and to make sure Test doesn't win. Lita goes on to ask Matt Hardy what happens if A-Train tries to interfer again, Matt responds by saying he has a plan to make sure he won't cost him his match against Test tonight. Matt Hardy gets up, kisses her and walks away telling her he won't let her down.

Test vs Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy staresdown Test as both men lock up and somehow Matt Hardy overpowers Test and hits a backbreaker. This furious, anger, strength comes out of Matt Hardy as Matt hit a jumping ddt followed by a leg drop. Instead of going for the cover Matt Hardy throws Test through the ropes. Matt dives through the ropes into a missile clothesline. The fans began to chant "holy ****" while Matt slowly got up and went for the Twist of Fate but Test picked up Matt and threw him into the crowd as Matt landed on some fans. Test went to the ring while the referee made the count but Matt got back in the ring in time. This allowed Test to go for the big boot but Matt Hardy dropkicked him on his leg. Matt hit the shoulder tackle on Test's knee. Matt went up to stomp his knee. Matt went for the Figure Four Leg Lock but Test pushed Matt Hardy. Both men got up as Test kicked Matt in the gut followed by a pumphandle slam but Matt Hardy countered with a modified Twist of Fate. Instead of going for the cover Matt went to the outside and took out a table. Matt brought the table in the ring and set it up in the corner. The referee told him to stop but Matt punched the referee knocking him out cold. Matt Hardy went for another Twist of Fate on Test but A-Train ran down to the ring. Both A-Train and Matt Hardy began to exchange right punches. All of a sudden Test went for the big boot but Matt ducked and Test hit the big boot on A-Train as A-Train fell right through the table. All of a sudden out came Lita, Test went for the pumphandle slam on Matt but Lita grabbed Test by his neck and tried to choke him. Test pushed Lita down as Matt Hardy hit the low blow on Test and went for the twist of fate and hit it. Lita went on to climb to the top turnbuckle and hit the moonsault. Matt covered Test while Lita woke the referee up and the referee made the three count giving the victory to Matt Hardy V.1.

Randy Orton is shown backstage being interviewed by Mark Lloyd. Mark asks the Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton if he is nervous about his match coming up next. Randy says how can he be nervous when he is going to be taking on this wanna-be Randy Orton. Mark asks Orton how is Shelton being a Randy Orton wanna-be? Randy Orton answers by saying Benjamin has been trying to prove how tough he is by stepping up to my face and not taking any bull**** from anyone but that coming up next he is going to make Shelton Benjamin his bitch. Orton walks away as Mark just looks at him walking away to the entrance area.

Shelton Benjamin is shown being interviewed by Ivory. Ivory asks Shelton Benjamin since coming to Raw, how does it feel to have defeated every member of Evolution and how does it feel in getting a rematch? Shelton Benjamin answers by saying very few men can say they have defeated every member of Evolution but Shelton Benjamin says that he is proud to be one of those few men. Shelton Benjamin goes on to talk about that the Intercontinental Title is the title you need to make a name for yourself in this company and that is what he is going to do. He is going to win the Intercontinental Title and prove to every single raw superstar that Shelton Benjamin is a force not to be messed with unless you want to get your ass kicked. Ivory thanks Benjamin for the interview as Benjamin walks away. Ivory walks up but Trish Stratus accidently bumbs into her. Trish tells Ivory that to get her old ass out of her way. Ivory tells Trish that she better be careful what she says because if he doesn't she's going to kick Trish's ass again. All of a sudden Bischoff seperates the two women and tells Trish Stratus to leave and she does. Bischoff then tells Ivory that tonight there is a triple thread match for the Womens Title and Lita was suppose to participate in it but Lita has left to celebrate with Matt Hardy and so she won't be able to wrestle tonight so since Ivory has her differences against Trish, Bischoff wants Ivory to replace Lita. Ivory agrees and Bischoff says thats a good thing because he has to go prepair for his match. Ivory smiles as she walks away.

It shows Orton hitting the RKO on Benjamin and covering him and Orton picked up the referees hand and dropped it three times giving the match "illegally" to Randy Orton. It goes on to show Benjamin telling Orton that the board of directors have decided to give Benjamin a re-match at Vengeance because their match at Bad Blood wasn't official. The fans cheered out loud as both Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin locked on. Benjamin was able to get the upperhand by hitting the firemans carry. Shelton followed up by hitting a swinging neckbreaker. Benjamin rolled up Orton but Orton kicked out. Randy Orton was able to counter after hitting a quick suplex. Orton went on to hit the overdrive for a nearfall. Orton taunted the fans as he brought the match to the outside. Orton dragged Benjamin into the entrance ramp. Orton went for the piledriver but Benjamin backdropped Orton to the delight of the crowd. Orton slowly got up and Benjamin took advantage and hit the superkick knocking Orton down. Benjamin went on to jump on the barricade and jump off hitting a flying clothesline. Shelton tried to do it again but this time Randy Orton was able to catch Shelton Benjamin and hit a powerslam. It took a while before both men could get up as Benjamin took Randy Orton back into the ring as he whipped Orton into the turnbuckle. Benjamin followed up by hitting the Stinger Splash followed by a modified fame-asser from the top turnbuckle. Benjamin went on to roll up Orton for a nearfall. Benjamin couldn't believe it as he picked up Orton and Orton immediatly went for the RKO but Benjamin pushed him away and charged him. Orton was able to catch Benjamin and hit the spinebuster. Orton went on to stomp Benjamin before he picked him up and dropped him for a spinebuster. Orton followed up by hitting an elbow drop. The match continued on with Randy Orton hitting a ddt. Orton picked up Benjamin and Benjamin somehow countered with a belly to back suplex. Benjamin continued the assault by hitting a modified super suplex from the top turnbuckle. Benjamin called for the end as he hit a german suplex on Orton as Orton landed on his head. All of a sudden Ric Flair ran down to the ring. Flair ran in and Benjamin caught him and dropped him for the Benjamin Slam. Orton got up and tried to attack Benjamin but Benjamin countered with a superkick. Shelton Benjamin went to the outside as he took out a table from under the ring and set the table up in the middle of the ring. Benjamin put Orton on the table as Benjamin climbed to the top turnbuckle. Benjamin jumped off and went for a big splash but somehow Orton got up in a second and was able to catch Benjamin and hit the RKO in mid-air right through the table. Both men layed out cold as Orton slowly covered Benjamin but somehow Benjamin kicked out after a two count. Orton picked up Benjamin and Benjamin somehow hit a modified powerslam. All of a sudden Ric Flair and Batista ran down to the ring as Flair ran into the ring and charged Shelton as Benjamin went on to throw Ric Flair over the top rope as the fans cheered out loud. All of a sudden Evolution's power monster Batista ran into the ring. Benjamin taunted Orton as he turned around and Batista was able to hit a vicious clothesline knocking Benjamin out cold as the referee rang the bell and ended this match in disqualification.

After the match Batista helped Randy Orton up to his feet as the referee gave Orton the intercontinental title as Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton picked up Benjamin and all three began to attack Shelton Benjamin until the World Tag Team Champions La Resistance ran down to the ring with chairs. The fans cheered out loud as La Resistance chased Evolution from the ring with the chairs. La Resistance helped Benjamin up to his feet as Evolution walked to the back with a furious look in their faces while the fans cheered out loud for Shelton Benjamin, Sylvian Grenier and Rob Conway while Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton went backstage.

Mark Lloyd is shown interviewing Chris Benoit. Mark asks Benoit if he is ready to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Edge and Kane. Benoit says that ever since Edge turned on him he has been ready to defend his title against both Edge and Kane. Benoit says that at Bad Blood Edge turned on him but tonight he knows what he has to do. Benoit says that Edge is someone he will have to look out for because this match is a no disqualification match so anything is allowed. Benoit goes on to say that Kane is a monster and if this is a no disqualification match then Kane has the ability to do anything they want. Mark was about to continue the interview until Edge stepped into the shot. Edge gets face to face with Benoit and tells him that he better take a long look at the World Heavyweight Title because tonight will be the last night Benoit will ever held the World Heavyweight Title. Edge walks away with a smile as Benoit stares him down.

La Resistance (c) vs The Hurricane & Rosey
The match began between Sylvian Grenier and The Hurricane as the fans cheered out loud for La Resistance. Grenier takes control by hitting a reverse ddt followed by a knee drop. The Hurricane fought back though after hitting the swinging neckbreaker. The Hurricane went on to hit a modified frankensteiner from the top turnbuckle for a nearfall. Sylvian Grenier fought back which allowed him to tag in Rob Conway and The Hurricane tagged in Rosey. Rosey ran in and clotheslined Rob Conway. Grenier went for the suplex but he couldn't pick him up and Rosey hit the belly to back suplex as Grenier immediatly rolled out of the ring. Rosey went to the attack on Conway hitting a suplex. The Hurricane went to the top turnbuckle as The Hurricane jumped on Rosey's shoulders and jumped off hitting the big splash on Conway. Rosey covered Conway but Grenier ran in and hit the dropkick to the back of the head of Rosey. The Hurricane tried to help Rosey but Conway hit a modified cross body slam knocking the hurricane out of the ring. Grenier picked up Rosey and both La Resistance somehow hit a double ddt as Conway covered Rosey for the pinfall victory and La Resistance retains their tag team titles.

After the match La Resistance celebrated their victory until Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton came out. Evolution slowly walked down to the ring while La Resistance got ready to fight. All of a sudden Shelton Benjamin came out through the crowd and grabbed a chair as Benjamin stood in front of La Resistance. Evolution saw this and walked to the back while Orton pointed to Benjamin and told him that this isn't over. Benjamin just smiles as Benjamin's music plays while Evolution leaves and goes backstage while the fans cheered out loud for Shelton Benjamin.

The Coach is seen talking to both Garrison Cade and Chuck Palumbo. The Coach tells both men that they did a great job last week on Raw in defeating The Hurricane and Rosey. The Coach goes on to say that they defeated the hurricane and rosey last week and tonight the hurricane and rosey are still getting a shot at the tag team titles. The Coach goes on to say thats fine because this is just the beginning and that this team is still strong and this team will win and on Raw I'm going to go straight to Eric Bischoff's office and demand a shot at the tag team titles. Cade and Palumbo tell The Coach that he better because this is a tag team that is ready to become the tag team champions even though we only had one tag team match. The Coach says that they don't need to face anyone else because from what we saw last week on Raw this team is more than ready. The Coach smiles along with Cade and Palumbo.

Once the ring is cleared Shawn Michaels music plays throughout the arena while the fans went crazy as almost every fan in the building stood on their feet and cheered for HBK as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels walked out. Shawn walked down to the ring and got a mic. The fans began to quite down as Shawn Michaels began to talk about how good it feels to be back in the WWE ring. Shawn Michaels began to talk about that he has only been out for a month but it felt like forever. Shawn Michaels continued talking about since his accident at Bad Blood in the hell in a cell match against Triple H, HBK hasn't been the same. Shawn goes on to talk about that Triple H is getting a # 1 contendership match for the World Heavyweight Title and that it was Shawn that defeated Triple H at Bad Blood and all of a sudden he's getting a shot to be the # 1 contender. Shawn goes on to say that HBK is back and better than ever. Shawn Michaels continues to talk about Triple H's match against Chris Jericho, Shawn says that he is very interested in this match so Shawn says that he will be at ringside to watch this match. Shawn Michaels dropped the mic and went backstage while the fans chanted "HBK."

Trish Stratus (c) vs Ivory vs Jazz
The match began with Trish Stratus and Jazz double teaming Ivory. Both Trish and Jazz hit a double suplex on Ivory. Trish immediatly went for the cover but Jazz pulled Trish from Ivory and hit punch knocking Trish down as Trish rolled out of the ring. Trish went on to pick up Ivory and go for a powerbomb but Ivory countered with a modified x-factor. Ivory covered Jazz but Trish hit Ivory in the back of the head. Trish Stratus whipped Ivory into the turnbuckle and went for a clothesline but Ivory ducked and bounced off the ropes and hit the spear on Trish as Ivory threw some punches. Jazz pulled Ivory from behind and hit a suplex. Both Jazz and Trish Stratus began to double team Ivory and hit a double ddt. The double team continued to attack Ivory as they hit a double powerbomb on Ivory. Both Trish and Jazz began to fight each other as Trish went for the stratusfaction and was able to hit it but instead of covering Jazz, Trish hit a ddt on Ivory and covered her and put her foot on the ropes for leverage to pick up the pinfall.

Trish Stratus went on to grab a mic and say that she is the most dominant female wrestler of all time and that she is the greatest Womens Champion of all time. Trish Stratus goes on to make an open challenge to every female (diva) wrestler in a Battle Royal two weeks from now on Monday Night Raw. Trish Stratus says that any diva (female wrestler) can enter this match and that she is so confident she is willing to put her womens title on the line. Trish drops the mic and goes backstage with a smile.

Chris Jericho is shown backstage being interviewed by Mark Lloyd. Mark asks Jericho if he is prepared to take on Triple H coming up next. Jericho answers by saying that he has been waiting for this chance for more than two years. Ever since Wrestlemania 18 he has been wanted to get a chance to get a World Heavyweight Title Shot. Jericho goes on to say that he hasn't taken the World Heavyweight Title serious but now its all different because his career status is on the line. Jericho goes on to call Triple H an "assclown." And that this assclown is about to get his ass kicked by Y2Jericho. Jericho goes on to say that after the jericholics out there witness the victory over Triple H, he is heading to Summerslam to fight for the World Heavyweight Title and that is something Jericho promises. Jericho walks away as Mark Lloyd sees him leave.
Triple H is shown backstage talking to Ric Flair. Flair reminds Triple H that this match is more important than any match he has ever had. Flair goes on tell Triple H that he has been told that he won't be able to accompany him down to the ring and so Triple H has to be ready to fight Chris Jericho and kick his ass. Triple H tells Flair that he knows whats on the line and he is going to make sure that Jericho will pay for everything he has done. Triple H begins to walk out of the locker room.

A video package is shown from Jericho/HHH match from Wrestlemania 18. It shows Triple H defeating Jericho. It goes on to show Triple H talking about how he is proud that he took out Shawn Michaels at Bad Blood in which Jericho walked down to the ring and told Triple H that he is sick and tired of his big fat mouth. It goes on to show Bischoff announcing that if he wants to face Triple H he has to defeat every Evolution member. We head to Raw where Jericho defeated Flair first, then Batista, then Orton, but then Triple H won after countless interferences by Evolution. It goes on to show Bischoff telling Jericho he has one more chance in which both men have to choose a superstar to represent them. And if Jerichos pick wins then Y2J faces HHH at Vengeance in a # 1 contenders match. Jericho chose The Rock and HHH chose Batista. In the end The Rock won and Jericho will get his chance to face Triple H. In the last Raw before Vengeance footage is shown of Jericho defeating Batista in a grueling match as Jericho made a staredown to Triple H as Triple H seemed angry and Jericho just smiled.

Chris Jericho vs Triple H
Both men made a staredown as the fans chanted out loud for Jericho. The match began with a lock-up. Both men refuse to give up until Triple H kicked Jericho in the gut. Triple H followed up by punching Jericho in the head before hitting a high knee kick to Jericho knocking him down. Triple H went on to stomp Jericho. Triple H taunted Jericho as he picked him up and hit the back chop but Jericho countered with the back chop. Both men exchanged back chops until Jericho hit Triple H harder. Jericho went on to whip Triple H into the turnbuckle and hit the spinning wheel kick knocking Triple H out of the ring. Jericho went on to go to the outside and take Triple H up the ramp. Jericho went on to hit a suplex. Jericho picked up Triple H but Triple H was able to hit a back drop. Triple H dragged Jericho back into the ring where he hit a clothesline followed by a cover for a nearfall. Triple H was then able to hit a ddt followed by a ddt. Triple H taunted the fans as the fans gave Triple H heat. Triple H began to try to lock on the Walls of Jericho but Jericho got to the ropes in time. Instead Triple H locked on the Figure Four Leg Lock. This lasted for while until Triple H locked on the sleeper hold but Jericho countered with a chin-breaker. Jericho went on to hit a dropkick knocking Triple H down. Jericho pushed Triple H into the turnbuckle where Jericho was able to hit a superplex for a nearfall. Jericho waited for Triple H to get up as Jericho went for a bulldog but Triple H caught him and hit a modified fisherman suplex. Triple H brought the match outside. Triple H threw Jericho into the steel steps. Triple H slowly picked up Jericho and picked him up. Triple H threw Jericho into the barricade. Triple H brought the match back into the ring and was about to hit the pedigree but Shawn Michaels music played and out came Shawn Michaels. Triple H threw Jericho down and looked at Shawn coming down to the ring. Shawn stood at ringside as Triple H went after Jericho and Jericho was able to hit the roll up but somehow triple h kicked out just in time. Jericho immediatly hit several suplexes for a nearfall. Jericho went for the Lionsault but Triple H rolled out of the way but Jericho landed on his feet. Jericho went on to kick Triple H in the gut and throw him into the turnbuckle. Jericho put Triple h at the top turnbuckle and went for the frankensteiner but Triple H countered with a powerbomb as the fans began to chant "holy ****." Triple H went on to hit a knee drop for a nearfall. The fans got behind Jericho while Triple H hit a ddt. Triple H went over to Shawn and said something to him before going after Jericho again. Triple H went on to hit the brainbuster followed by a single leg crab. Jericho screamed in pain as he tried to get to the ropes but Triple H brought him back into the middle of the ring. Somehow Jericho was able to counter it and lock on the Walls of Jericho. Triple H screamed in pain while the fans cheered out loud. Triple H was able to use his strength to get to the ropes in time. Jericho continued the assault by hitting a german suplex pin for a two count. Jericho tried to end this match by hitting a bulldog followed by the Lionsault. Jericho covered Triple H while the fans counted along with the referee and soemhow Triple H kicked out just before the referee reached to the count of three. Jericho seemed surprised as Jericho went to the outside and took out a ladder. Jericho set the ladder at ringside while Shawn Michaels just looked on. Jericho walked all the way up to the ladder and Triple H saw this and got up quickly. Triple H pushed the ladder and Jericho landed on several fans 15 feet high. The fans chanted "holy ****" while the security guards near jericho helped him off some of the fans and helped Jericho to his feet. Jericho couldn't get up and Jericho just laid there. Triple H slowly went to the outside and jumped over the barricade and picked up Jericho. Triple H grabbed a chair nearby and smashed the chair over Jericho's head while blood poured down Jericho's face. Triple H threw Jericho back at ringside. Triple H went back at ringside as well while Triple H said something to Shawn as Shawn just looked on. Triple brought the match back into the ring where Triple H went for a pedigree but Jericho countered and hit the low blow while the referee wasn't looking. Jericho went on to hit a enzuguri. Both men layed out cold while the referee made the count. Finally Jericho was able to put one arm on top of Triple H and so the referee made the count 1.........2.......kick out by Triple H shocking the fans. All of a sudden Triple H brought a chair and a sledgehammer into the ring. Triple H threw the sledgehammer on the mat and was about to hit Jericho with the chair but the referee took the chair away and was giving it to the ring announcer and telling him something. Triple H picked up the sledgehammer and was about to hit Jericho but Shawn ran into the ring and hit the superkick to Triple H knocking him down. Shawn dived out of the ring while Jericho took advantage and was able to hit the Lionsault to the delight of the crowd. The referee went on to make the count 1...............2..............3 Jericho has defeated Triple H to become the # 1 contender. The fans began to chant for Y2J while Jericho stood on his knees and raised his arms in victory while Triple H slowly got up.

After the match Chris Jericho climbed to the second turnbuckle and raised his arms in victory while Shawn Michaels entered the ring and shook Jericho's hand while Jericho went to the back. Shawn got on one knee and said something to Triple H. Shawn Michaels went on to pick up a chair and waited for Triple H to get up and the fans chanted for HBK. Once Triple H stood up, Shawn threw the chair to Triple H and Triple H caught the chair. Shawn went on to hit the Sweet Chin Music right into the chair into Triple H's face. Triple H began to bleed all over his forehead while Shawn walked out of the ring and went backstage while the fans chanted for Shawn Michaels.

A video package is shown of William Regal wrestling on both Raw and Smackdown. It goes on to show Bischoff telling Regal that he has found out about him being on Raw and Smackdown and that he wants Regal out of Raw for good, this all happened while Eugene stood next to Bischoff. Bischoff goes on to tell Regal that he has had a long discussion with the boards of directors and that they have thought of the perfect plan to fix all this. And the plan is that at Vengeance it will be Eric Bischoff vs William Regal, If Regal loses he stays on Smackdown and leaves Raw but because this match has to be fair, if Regal wins he becomes the New GM of Raw. Both men agree as the video package goes on to show Eric Bischoff costing Regal's tag team title match at the Great American Bash. The video package ends with Eugene accidently costing Regal's match as Bischoff hugs Eugene and Regal looks on in disgust.
Before the match began Eric Bischoff came out down to the ring wearing his karate clothes. Bischoff said that this match was too important to be refereed by Charles Robinson. Bischoff goes on to tell Charles Robinson to go backstage and he does. Bischoff then says that there is only one man who can referee this match and that man is Eugene. Out came Eugene wearing a referee t-shirt as the fans seemed shocked but also cheered for Eugene. Eugene entered the ring.

William Regal vs Eric Bischoff
Special Guest Referee: Eugene
Both William Regal and Eric Bischoff made a quick staredown. Finally the match began with Regal hitting Bischoff over the head. Regal continued on to lock on the sleeper hold as Bischoff reached out and grabbed the ropes. Bischoff went on to roll out of the ring as Regal went after him. Bischoff began to run around the ring while Regal chased him. Eugene began to make the count. Bischoff ran back into the ring as Regal entered the ring. At this point Bischoff jumped on Regals back and tried to choke him as Eugene pulled Bischoff off of Regal. Eugene started telling Bischoff that he cannot do that. All of a sudden Regal went for a clothesline on Bischoff but Bischoff pulled Eugene in front of him and Regal accidently knocked Eugene down. Regal checked on Eugene as Bischoff came from behind and hit the low blow. Bischoff went on to bring a chair into the ring and attacking Regal with the chair by hitting him in his back. Bischoff went on to help Eugene up to his feet while Eugene slowly got up. Bischoff picked up Regal and went for the ddt and hit it. Bischoff went on to go for the elbow drop from the top turnbuckle but Regal rolled out of the way and Bischoff landed hard in the ring. Regal was about to attack Eric Bischoff but then Eugene took off his smirk smile and had a serious look in his face as Eugene picked up the chair and smashed it over William Regal's head. Eugene went on to put Bischoff on top of Regal as Eugene made a quick three count.

After the match Eugene helped Eric Bischoff up to his feet as Bischoff asked for a mic. Eugene then got a mic from the ring announcer and gave it to Eric Bischoff. Bischoff went on to call out security guards as 10 security guards came down to the ring. Bischoff went on to remind William Regal that if Regal lost he would leave Raw. Bischoff went on to tell the security guards to escort William Regal out of the arena. The security guards grabbed William Regal and dragged him out of the ring and to the back as the guards escorted Regal out of the arena. Bischoff wasn't done as he thanked his nephew "Nick" Dinsmore for the help as Nick grabbed a mic and said that this was a plan to get revenge on Regal. If anyone wants to know why we wanted revenge because a long time ago William Regal turned his back on WCW in which Bischoff was the boss. Regal left WCW and left Bischoff in the cold and a few months ago Uncle Bischoff called me and so we thought of a great plan and this is the ending of Regal but the beginning of "Nick Dinsmore". Dinsmore and Eric Bischoff went to the back while the fans gave heat to both men, especially at Dinsmore as the fans chanted "you suck."

Eric Bischoff is shown drinking champagne with Nick Dinsmore in Bischoff's office when Johnathan Coachman, Garrison Cade and Chuck Palumbo walked in. The Coach congratulated Bischoff on his victory and said that he would like to introduce to Bischoff his two prodigy. Bischoff shook both Cade's and Palumbo's hand. The Coach went on to ask Bischoff that this is the newest tag team on Raw and that this team has potential to become tag team champions so Coach asks for a tag team title match. Bischoff responds by saying he would like to but they have to prove to him that they deserve it so on Raw it is going to be Garrison Cade and Chuck Palumbo vs Mysterio Opponents. The Coach says thats fine and walks out of the office with Cade and Chuck.
Chris Benoit shown backstage sitting down in a chair looking at the World Heavyweight Title. Benoit gets up and puts the World Title around his waist as he walks out of the locker room and walks down the hall. The camera shot changes to a locker room where Edge is shown walking out. The camera shot changes one more time in which it shows Kane walking down the hall with an angry look in his face. The fans began to chant for Chris Benoit while they saw all three men.

A video package is shown of how the feud of Chris Benoit/Edge/Kane began. The video package starts off in Bad Blood where Benoit took on Kane. Both men wrestled extremely well until Edge came out and hit Benoit over the head, which means Benoit wins by disqualification. It goes on to show Chris Benoit taking on Edge on Raw. Both men fought back and forth until Kane came out and chokeslammed both men. A week later Eric Bischoff tells Edge that he will face Kane in a Number One Contenders Match. Kane would go on to win the match and Bischoff gave Edge one more chance to prove he deserves a world title shot. Edge proved it by viciously attacking Benoit at the parking lot. A week later Eric Bischoff announces that Benoit will defend his World Heavyweight Title against both Edge and Kane. The video package continues on to show Benoit forcing Edge tap out to the Crossface in the six man elimination match last week. After the match Benoit was showed busted open and barely getting up as Kane walked down to the ring. Kane taunted Benoit until Benoit went for the crossface but Kane rolled out of the ring. The video package ends with Benoit, Edge, and Kane standing in the middle of the ring staring each other down while the crowd cheered out loud.

Before the match began Jim Ross reminded us that the winner of this match will defend their World Heavyweight Title against Chris Jericho at Summerslam. The match began with both Edge and Kane double teaming Chris Benoit. Edge and Kane exchanged punches to Benoit. Edge hit a suplex on Benoit until Kane picked up Benoit and hit a powerbomb. Edge covered Benoit but Kane pulled Edge off and stared at Edge almost telling him he just made a huge mistake. Kane grabbed Edge by his neck and picked him up. Kane threw Edge over the top rope while Benoit slowly got up. Benoit came behind of Kane and hit a german suplex, Benoit went for another german suplex but Kane hit Benoit with an elbow. Kane went on to hit a clothesline. Edge ran back into the ring and hit a bulldog on Kane. Kane immediatly got up while Edge hit a clothesline followed by a dropkick knocking Kane out of the ring. Edge immediatly went after Benoit and hit a reverse ddt followed by a leg drop for a nearfall. Edge picked up Benoit and Benoit knocked Edge down and locked on the Crippler Crossface. Edge got to the ropes in time while Kane ran back into the ring and hit the big boot knocking Benoit down. Kane went on to throw Benoit into the turnbuckle and hit a clothesline and a spear. Edge came from behind Kane and locked on the sleeper hold by jumping on Kane. Kane tried to get out of it but Edge refused to let go. Edge kept the sleeper hold locked on until Benoit came from behind and hit a dropkick on Kane and Kane fell right on Edge. Edge began to hold his ribs while Benoit went after Kane and locked on the armlock. It took a while before Kane picked up Benoit with one hand drop him for a gutwrench suplex for a nearfall. Kane called for the end when he picked up Benoit and went for the tombstone and Kane was able to hit the tombstone. Kane was about to go for the cover but Edge hit a spinning heel kick to the back of Kane's head. Kane turned to Edge and both men began to exchange punches back and forth. Kane was able to get the upperhand and hit the clothesline. Kane picked Edge up and hit the brainbuster. Benoit went on and climbed to the top turnbuckle. Benoit went for the headbutt but Kane caught him and hit the powerslam for a nearfall. Kane went on to go for the high leg drop but Benoit rolled out of the ring. Kane slowly got up and once he stood up Edge charged him and hit the spear. Edge pinned Kane but Kane kicked out in time. Instead of continuing the attack on Kane Edge went to the outside and went after Benoit. Edge was about to throw Benoit into the steel steps but Benoit countered and threw Edge into the steel steps instead. Benoit went on to hit a german release suplex on Edge. Benoit was about to go back into the ring but an incredible dive from Kane as Kane jumped from the top turnbuckle and hit the flying clothesline knocking Benoit down. Kane threw both Benoit and Edge back into the ring. Kane called for the end. Kane picked up both Benoit and Edge and grabbed them by their necks. Kane went for the double chokeslam but Benoit and Edge knocked Kane down. Benoit locked on the Crippler Crossface while Edge locked on the Texas Clover-Leaf on Kane. Both Edge and Benoit had a double submission locked on Kane but Kane was too close to the ropes and the holds had to be broken up. Both Benoit and Edge began to exchange back chops but Benoits chops were much more harder. Edge fell into the turnbuckle and Benoit was able to put Edge on the top turnbuckle. Benoit climbed to the top turnbuckle as well and hit a super super plex. The fans began to chant "holy ****" while all three men layed in the ring. Kane was the first man up. Kane went after Benoit and threw him to the outside. Kane dragged Benoit up the steel ramp. Kane went over to the announcers table and tried to hit the chokeslam 10 feet high from the announcers table where J.R. and the King were. Kane raised Benoit high but Benoit kicked Kane in the face. Kane turned around in which allowed Benoit to hit the German Suplex on Kane right on the entrance ramp. Benoit leaves Kane there and goes back into the ring where he hit the clothesline on Edge. Benoit tried to lock on the armlock but Edge countered with the headlock. Benoit countered the headlock with a bearhug and somehow Edge countered with a sleeper hold. And again Benoit countered with a neckbreaker for a nearfall. Benoit slowly got up and so did Edge. Kane also walked down to the ring. Kane grabbed a chair from under the ring and ran back into the ring. Kane hit Benoit over the head with a chair. Kane also hit Edge over the head with the chair. Both Benoit and Edge layed out cold while Kane smiled and took out a three by four with barbwire covering the three by four. Kane entered the ring again and picked Benoit up. Kane whipped Benoit into the turnbuckle and tried to hit Benoit with the wood covered in barb wire but Benoit ducked and hit the triple german suplex. Edge slowly got up and Benoit saw this. Benoit picked up the wood and hit Edge over the head with it. Edge bagan to bleed while Benoit threw the wood out of the ring. Benoit saw both men layed out cold in the ring so he picked up the chair and set the chair in the middle of the ring. Benoit picked up Kane and hit the tornado DDT on kane. Kane's head landed on the chair while the fans cheered even louder than before. Edge slowly got up while he tried to whipe the blood of his face. Edge saw his opportunity and grabbed Benoit by his neck. Edge taunted the fans and went for the Edgecution. Edge was about to hit it but somehow out of nowhere Benoit locked on the Crippler Crossface on Edge. Edge tried to grab the ropes but Benoit put even more pressure than before. It took awhile before the fans got even louder. Edge couldn't reach the ropes and had no choice but to tap out to Chris Benoit while Kane was barely getting up.
Winner: Chris Benoit via submission and still World Heavyweight Champion

After the match Chris Benoit grabbed his World Heavyweight Title and raised it over his head while the fans cheered out loud. Kane and Edge rolled out of the ring while Benoit continued to celebrate his victory with the fans while the fans raised there arms in victory as well. All of a sudden Chris Jericho walked down to the ring and entered the ring. Benoit celebrated on the second turnbuckle before he saw Jericho enter the ring. Jericho and Benoit stood five feet apart. Both men shook hands as a sign of respect. But they didn't let go as both men got face to face to each other while the fans chanted for both Jericho and Benoit. Y2J Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit continued to stare each other down with a serious look from both men but then Kane came from behind and hit a double chokeslam on both Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. Kane was about to raise his arm but Edge charged Kane and hit the Gore. The show went off the air with Edge raising his arm in victory while Benoit, Jericho and Kane layed out cold.
