am i the only one who feels that the wwe should get rid of single brand ppvs, i was a huge mark for the roster split but i just feel the wwe ppvs have become very dull.
i havent really done any research to see if they can do this but it just something that i have been thinking since i saw GAB.
what do you guys think?
ps im drunk atm so ye i do realise that i should have made the thread say single instead of one

No the WWE shoulden't get rid of brand PPVs. I think because if you have brand PPVs, the brands get more time to build up matches and feuds. Also GAB was crap because of the shape SmackDown is in at the moment.

I agree with that, if it weren't for the split the matches would have to be short because of the time limit. And it would be good for one brand, but bad for the other. Raw matches will be more focused on with them being the bigger brand and Smackdown will get very little time. I think it is fine the way it is at the moment, we can't help the Smackdown ppv ratings because of the lack of maineventers and the state it is in. If the Smackdown show was in the same position as Raw then it would be alrite and more enjoyable but it isn't and that is why it is suffering badly.

They do need to cut the number of PPV's though. The increase in PPV's has definetly killed some of the time for building matches. Ex. RAW only had a month between Bad Blood and Vengeance.

Well the WWE always a month between a pay per view. Even after the draft (the first one) each brand had 1 month.

well yea but between last years Bad Blood and Summerslam, Raw had two months and SD had two between Judgement Day and Vengeance. Same with the late PPV's.

Well maybe 2 months has become too long for the WWE right now, dam you WWE writers. But that was the past, this is a new era for the WWE and this new era only needs 1 month. And to be honest I kinda like the 14 ppvs a year by the WWE. 5 for Raw, 5 for smackdown and 4 for both. Thats good enough and besides I think they are trying to make Raw like a different company and the same with Smackdown.

The PPV schedule is fine how it is. There are more single brand PPVs now, which is a good thing.
