HBK Vs. The Rock: Will It Ever Happen?

I personally thought the WWE fans would witness Shawn Michaels Vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 20, but obviously it was not to be. If HBK Vs. The Rock was even hinted upon by the WWE, I would be extremely excited. Since Shawn Michaels' return to the WWE in the recent years, I have been waiting and waiting for this match to... HAPPEN!

I believe this matchup between The Rock and Shawn Michaels will happen, and I wouldn't be surprised if this match and feud would possibly happen at WrestleMania 21. Shawn Michaels and The Rock have done a lot for the WWE company, and to witness both of them in the same ring at a PPV, or WrestleMania would be amazing!

Opinions, thoughts!?

Sorry to say this, but since it didn't happen at XX I doubt we will ever see The Rock and HBK duking it out in a WWE ring. Rock doesn't show up enough, and Michaels only has so much time left in the wrestling world. If it's gonna happen, it will happen at XXI I believe. If it doesn't happen then, it will never happen IMO. Don't get me wrong though, I would love to see this match.

I doubt we'll ever see it! I believe The Rock will enter into a feud within the next year but it wont be with HBK. At the moment, all the signs are pointing to a Rock/Orton feud. I agree with the idea in principal and i know the Rock will put Randy over, but just once i want to see the Rock come back and lay the smack down. I would like him to enter into a prolonged feud with Orton and see the Rock do what he does best, i.e verbally and physically destroy him, before losing a more signifcant match to get the IC champ over.

Well they both have alot of years left in the WWE. Didn't Shawn Michaels sign a 6 year deal with the WWE? So 6 years is more than enough time to have The Rock taking on Shawn Michaels.

I thought that Michaels only signed to a one year extension but if I agree with Duff and TE, if it happens it will happen at WMXXI but it looks like Rock-Orton at the PPV.

Well there's always WrestlemaniaXXII because I remember that HBk signed a 6 year deal according to some of my sources. And besides they don't necessarily need to face each other at Wrestlemania. The Rock can always face HBK in another huge pay per view like summerslam or something like that.

Well if it does not happen at Mania next year, then it is going to happen at next years Summerslam or at some low buy rate ppv to try and get people into buying it, which would improve buy rates. But if they do it that way however, it might screw it up and people will be disinterested in it because of it being a failure.

Personally, I would rather see Orton-Rock, simply because Orton can flat out "go" in the ring. I love HBK, but let's face it, he's lost a few steps since coming back. The speed at which an Orton-Rock match would move would be amazing.

HBK only signed a 1-year extension. Where you keep getting 6 years is beyond me. But yes, it does look like it's gonne be The Rock vs. Randy Orton, which I really don't have a problem with.

I'd rather see Cena vs Orton at WM21, I think that match would be a huge draw and if Cena ups his game a bit then the match would be sweet. The Future of Raw and SD one on one. I wouldn't be too intrested in HBK/Rock, I don't think it will work very well but Orton/Rock will be intresting.
