WWE now plans to air Tough Enough this fall, but it will be done as segments within Smackdown. This will be done to coincide with the Fall Sweeps period, which is important for advertising rates and sales.
In the past few years Tough Enough was done as a seperate show produced by WWE and shown on MTV. This series of Tough Enough will differ from the others by allowing the fans to have a say in the voting. The winner would get a WWE contract to go along with the former winners who have signed with WWE.
No word yet on who the trainers will be, or when tryouts will take place.

Tough Enough is just a waste of time / money for the WWE. None of the Tough Enough winners have really done anything for the WWE at all. The only Tough Enough winners I saw real potential in was Christopher Nowinski and Nidia.
Your Thoughts?

Nowitski didn't win TE.
Just thought I'd tell you.

Chris Nowinski did have a lot of potential. Heck we might be seeing Nowinski instead of Bradshaw if he didn't had that injury.

Actually Nowinski has a condition sickness(I forgot what it is called) that prevents him from wrestling so Nowinski will not be coming back to wrestling.

Yeah I thought it was that. I swear I heard though that Edge stepped on his head accidently in Royal Rumble 2003.

Last I read that Nowitski was getting much better and was about to begin training once again.

Well the 3rd time was not the charm and now they are going for # 4. Needless to say TE has not be a big success. Maven had a little popularity but that is about dead now. Nidia did play a good heel, but she is just another jobber now, and she looked a lot better in the ring at TE than she does now. Nowinski was the best out of TE but ironically he can't wrestle anymore. Morgan, another non-winner to get a contract, had the size and look but no real talent to back it up. I recal Linda being sent back to training and I have no idea when or if she will be back. Jackie is just a regular Diva with thankfully little match time. I am still trying to get that match she had with Trish out of my head. Linda and Jackie had to be the worse out of the TE winners. I can't comment on TE3 winners because they hardly had any ring time. Johnny Nitro was not a bad gimmick and could have given a good push. However, WWe decided to end his contract. I have no clue what happened to the other winner, Mat. He definitely had potential.

Matt is supposedly about to be on his way up to Smackdown to be a contender for the Cruiserweight Championship.

They should put Josh Matthews in the ring, he can't be as bad as Jackie and can't be as boring as Maven

I agree. However, Josh's main problem is he was just too small. I think Spike outweighs him. Josh probably was the best wrestle in TE1 but, he was just to skinny even for a crusierweight. At least Josh found a good role as an announcer for Velocity. Maybe he will get his chance in the ring one day.

Chris Nowinski suffers from Post Concussion Syndrome which has rendered him unable to train or even wrestle( :( ). This is bad news and even though he didn't win TE, he would have been a better pick than Maven!
I don't think bringing TE back as a seperate show or as segments within Smackdown is going to help anyone. Where are most of the TE winners/losers that made it to the WWE at now? Most of them have been on the active roster then sent back to OVW, jobbing or disappeared from the radar. That doesn't say much!!

If the WWE wants to bring back a reality show than I think that they should have one where cameras follow around young wrestlers in OVW hoping to try and make a name for themselves in the WWE. I think that a show like that could really take off and could also help develop some of the wrestlers who the WWE plan on debuting.

That's a good idea Kid, IMO that would be a hell load better than Tough Enough.

I actually enjoyed Tough Enough, it was the only reality tv show I liked. One thing I liked was that the WWE finally admitted that wrestling was fake.
I can't wait until Matt Cappotelli debuts on SD!, he has a lot of potential.
I think the WWE should have let John Hennigan (a.k.a. Johnny Spade, a.k.a. Johnny Nitro) wrestle more, he was pretty damn good, that standing Shooting Star Press he did was awesome.
