Steven Prazak and Dan "The Dragon" Wilson opened this week's episode with a review/preview segment. Prazak said that last week's main event between Jeremy V and Jason Cross was a great match that ended with deplorable circumstances. Wilson explained that it looked as if the time for V to win the World Television Title had finally come. However, the champion proved to be the better man, defeating V with a brainbuster off the second turnbuckle (the devastation was replayed in slow motion). The tragedy of a major injury was averted, but V's neck was said to be sore enough to keep him out of action this week. In addition, Tank took on three members of Getz Enterprises due to partner Rick Michaels' mysterious (which Wilson explained last week!) no show. Tank ended up being choked out in the middle of the ring. Lastly, Three Guys That Totally Rule squared off against Ray Gordy, Brandon P and Brent Basics in six man action. P passed up Gordy to hot tag Basics, who went on to lose the match via Delay's Kool Krusher. A frustrated Gordy powerbombed P in the postmatch.

Cut to comments from a heated Ray Gordy. He wanted to know what the hell was going on in Wildside when his partner passes him up tag some greenhorn. "My last name alone deserves more respect that that." Gordy said if he couldn't get respect, he would take it.

Al Getz cut a promo surrounded by his entourage, Bulldog Raines, Ace Rockwell and Sean Tempers. Getz said they beat Tank to a pulp seven days ago. The beating was nothing new according to Getz. What was different, was that rather than walking out under his own power, Tank was carried out by three scrubs. Getz alleged that all of Tank's partners abandon him. They left Iceberg in a puddle of blood, never to return, and Rick Michaels didn't want any part of them. Getz begged Tank not to come back for the sake of his personal safety and the sake of his beautiful fiancée. Pan to a close up of Bulldog barking and barring his teeth.

(1) Sweet Dreams beat Jason Blackman in 4:28. Dreams came out dancing to a sample taken from "The Jefferson's" theme song. The announce team positioned Dreams as a guy that was ready to shine after losing 36 pounds. Blackman was said to be a tough ex-cop with a bad attitude. Blackman started to pound away. Dreams used a display of speed and agility to get the upper hand. Dreams hit the dancing elbow drop for a near fall. Wilson said that move made him dizzy. Blackman headbutted Dreams right between the eyes. Dreams may not be Bobo Brazil, but Blackman was shook up as well. Dreams backdropped a charging Blackman to the apron and knocked him to the floor with a left hand. Dreams did a somersault and sprung through the ropes with a tope suicida~! Back inside, a leg lariat by Dreams was good for a one count. Dreams went up top for a tumbleweed, but Blackman rolled out of the way. Blackman pasted Dreams with a basement dropkick and legdropped him for a two count. Dreams ended a battle of suplex attempts by spearing Blackman. Dreams planted Blackman on the top turnbuckle and climbed. Blackman fought him off. Dream took the big back bump. Blackman was looking for a moonsault, but a shove from Dreams nutted Blackman on the top turnbuckle. Dreams hit a modified whirlybird for the pin. The announce team called it an upset. Sore loser that he is, Blackman laid Dreams out with a spinebuster.

COMMENTS: This could develop into an interesting undercard program. Dreams made his best showing so far. His character is starting to get over. Not one Blackman's stronger performances, but he got the point across with the postmatch spinebuster.

(2) Todd Sexton beat Biohazard via submission in 8:03. They took it to the mat right from the bell with Sexton coming out on top. Wilson said Biohazard had earned the fans' respect, although he was yet to score a major win. Sexton acted like a **** as per usual. He used the top ropes for a hammock and took a bow. Biohazard punished Sexton with a sweet cutthroat backbreaker deal. This time it was Biohazard with the advantage on the mat. Sexton adopted a kickboxing stance. Biohazard swept Sexton's legs out and kicked him in the face for a two count. Biohazard got dumped to the floor after several ill-advised rushes into the corner. Sexton rammed Biohazard's back into the ring apron. The key spot was Sexton delivering a wicked scoop slam. Biohazard's back bounced off the floor with a sick thud. Biohazard wasn't getting up, so Sexton gave him a hand by ramming his back into the post. The fans broke into a "Bi-o-hazard" chant. As Biohazard struggled to get back inside, Sexton interrupted the count with a suplex back to the inside for a near fall. Out of nowhere, Biohazard hit a cobra clutch russian legsweep into a back bridge, the aptly named Pray for Death submission. Sexton hooked the ropes with his foot. Sexton used the trusty eye rake. Sexton yanked Biohazard down from behind, at the same time dropping to his back with his knees up. Cool move. Sexton continued to focus his attack on the back. Biohazard hooked Sexton's leg and hit a DDT. Another cool move. The ref's count reached five. Biohazard stepped aside as Sexton charged into the corner. Biohazard was laying in the kicks. Biohazard landed a roundhouse to the head that Sexton sold as a knee buckling knockdown. Biohazard hit a rolling necksnap off the second rope. Sexton barely kicked out of Biohazard's tight cradle. Sexton escaped from a fireman's carry, but Biohazard caught him with a figure four suplex. Biohazard locked in the Pray for Death, but he broke the hold clutching at his back in pain. Sexton blocked a kick and Biohazard fell prey to the sharpshooter.

COMMENTS: I dug this match a lot. They got enough time to tell the story. The work on the back was a great set up to a well-executed and totally logical finishing sequence. They don't call Sexton "The Technician" for nothing. It was also a good showcase for Biohazard's unique moveset. It's a credit to both Biohazard and the booking (competitive matches with quality opponents) that he's so over without being able to secure that first big win.

(3) Jeff Lewis strapped the living daylights out of Jacey North in a match that never happened. Lewis came in through the front door in street clothes to catch North by surprise with the Final Curtain. Lewis took off his belt and went to work. Lewis' third shot caught North in the face and put him down in heap. Lewis ripped North's t-shirt off and lashed the bejesus out of him. The refs tried to intervene, but Lewis broke free and swung wildly at them. Lewis tore into North's flesh with the strap. The refs cowered. Another shot to North's head. Prazak said the welts were rising up before our very eyes. This was pro wrestling violence at its finest. The refs finally got Lewis under control. Lewis took one step through the ropes and came back with more leather. North was left writhing in agony. The refs tried to stand him up, but that wasn't happening. North rolled out to the floor. The camera moved in for a close up of the welts. As the refs helped North up the ramp, Wilson said that a guy who was tough enough to survive Marine Corp boot camp would surely come back from this.

COMMENTS: Nothing like naked violence to get an angle across. The most severe strapping I've ever witnessed, bar none. North took a sick beating. Lewis brought out a new dimension of sadism in his character. 28 lashes and almost all of them were right on the money. The refs were all about fear, which subtly heightened the impact.

North cut a promo. He was amazingly controlled for a guy that just had a layer of his hide stripped off via a leather strap. North said Lewis had tried to end his career, had left him in a pool of blood and now, he had whipped him like a slave. Beat him like a dog in front of his friends, his family and most importantly, his fans. North vowed to take Lewis beyond all previous boundaries of suffering inside a wrestling ring. This was miles beyond personal. Forget the titles and the money (?), all he cared about was making Lewis his bitch. North vowed to make Lewis pay five fold. North turned his back to give the viewers another close up of the roadmap of welts.

Cut to an awesome promo by Lewis. "The Feature Presentation" was laughing and snapping his belt. "Jacey, you don't ever learn do you, huh?" Lewis took full credit for (temporarily) ending North's career and making him bleed like a "stuck damn pig." And furthermore...

"I beat you worse than Kunta Kinte ever got beat. Jacey, look at the damage you did. Look at the damage you did to Jeff Lewis' belt. I GOTTA GO GET ANOTHER BELT NOW...I'm going to tell you this, Jacey, the Feature Presentation is here to stay forever and ever. You're not going to make me bleed. You're not going to make me quit. And you're not gonna beat me ever again. Why? Because the Feature Presentation has begun (takes a bow)."

(4) The NWA Elite (Azrael & Rainman & Mikal Adryan with Jeff G. Bailey) beat Caprice Coleman & Gabriel & Slim J in 12:25. The Elite powdered out as soon as the faces hit the ring. It looked like Rainman and J would start. Adryan slapped Rainman's back for a tag. J showed no reluctance about going head up against the monster, but Coleman surprised J with a blind tag. Coleman took Adryan down and tried to put him on his back. Coleman pulled off a slick hammerlock reversal. Adryan powered out and tried for a Mafia kick. Coleman ducked that, but Adryan's lariat found the mark. Adryan taunted his loopy opponent. Coleman reversed a whip into the spin scissors kick. Coleman hit a springboard leg lariat. Coleman boxed. Adryan ducked a haymaker and pounded Coleman's face. Coleman dodged a corner lariat and spiked Adryan's head into the mat with a springboard huracanrana. Coleman bitch slapped Adryan. The big man was pissed. Adryan charged as Coleman turned his back to tag, but Coleman was ready with a drop toehold. Coleman spanked Adryan and made the tag. Gabriel ate an elbow charging into the corner. Adryan got the tag. Rainman attempted a back suplex. Gabriel did a back flip to his feet and hit one of his own for a two count. Gabriel decked Rainman with an enzuigiri. Tag to J, who wailed away on Rainman's arm. J hit cool hiptoss turned neckbreaker. J did a series of rolling back suplexes, converting the third one into a powerbomb for a near fall. Tag to Gabriel. Rainman escaped from the top rope double stomp. Gabriel got distracted by Azrael's chicanery. SPINESPLITTA by the Soul Assassin. Rainman grabbed Gabriel and made a foot tag to Azrael, who entered with a flying elbow drop. Gabriel kicked out at one on a vertical suplex. Azrael landed a stiff kick to Gabriel's head. While the Elite kept the heat on Gabriel, Todd Sexton strolled down the ramp for a chat with Bailey. They shook hands on something. Wilson said the rumors of dissension appeared to be untrue. Adryan powerbombed Gabriel into the turnbuckles. Azrael set Gabriel up in the tree of woe and speared him bigtime. Bailey was jumping up and down with glee. Gabriel grabbed the ropes to prevent a pin. Gabriel got two with a sunset flip, but Azrael cut him off with a lariat. The Elite destroyed Gabriel in the corner. Rainman hit a fallaway suplex and Coleman saved. Gabriel got knocked to the floor where Bailey greeted him with a kick in the head. Back inside, Adryan covered but Gabriel rolled a shoulder. Gabriel stunned a charging Adryan with a boot to the face and dropped him with a forearm to the chops. Gabriel hit a senton backsplash. Both down and crawling for tags. Tag to J. He was on fire. J hit a springboard reverse DDT on Azrael. Adryan picked J up like a small child and powerbombed him across the ring. Coleman nailed Adryan with the Coldsnap. Prazak pointed out that Coleman was not the legal man, as Posey started the count. Azrael made the save. Coleman connected with a shining wizard on Azrael for a near fall. Gabriel followed up with the top rope double stomp, but Sexton pulled Gabriel out. Adryan cut off Coleman's rescue attempt with a chop block to the knee. Meanwhile, Rainman and Azrael debuted the 420 '99 on J (mix 1/2 Violator 420 and 1/2 Excommunicator ). Rainman locked in the Hillside Strangla, AND NOBODY ESCAPES FROM THE HILLSIDE STRANGLA. J tapped. Sexton had Gabriel in the sharpshooter. Adryan hauled Coleman into the ring and put him in a half crab. The announce team was going nuts. Prazak wondered if NWA President Bill Behrens could pull himself away from the Pablo Cruise boxed set long enough to establish some law and order. Bailey said enough was enough. Nah, how bout a little bit more? Bailey smiled and applauded. J and Gabriel looked to be out cold. Coleman was clutching at his knee. The Elite made a triumphant exit. Behrens and Onyx finally arrived to give aid.

COMMENTS: A solid main. The build to the War Games at Freedom Fight continued with a massacre of the outnumbered babys. It figured that most, if not all, of this group would wind up in the cage. The Coleman/Adyran opening was fun. Interesting to note that Coleman was shut out of the match after that. Rainman bumped like crazy for J. It appears that Bailey and Sexton resolved their differences. At least for now.

Looks like a pretty good show by Wild side

I’d really like to see the Lewis/North beat down, It sound’s really hardcore and could be worth checking out to be honest.

Whilst I like the look of the main event. Should be a interesting watch.

Thoughts?

I would also like to see the Lewis/North beat down. Its been a while since I witness something hardcore in the wrestling world so I better check this out and see how violent did it really get.
