According to PWInsider.com, both Jim Cornette and BG James have been released from the company.
According to F4WOnline.com, the TNA releases of Jim Cornette and BG James are part of an apparent move to eliminate those who were closest to Jeff Jarrett. Previous examples include the recent releases of Dutch Mantell and Savio Vega.
I'm wondering if Jeff Jarrett has noticed that his company is trying to get shot of everything, considering most opf his confidants in booking and creative are being shunted off.
Whilst it's no big loss they got rid of BG James, as he hasn't been on TV in 18 months (and sucked when he was on), but Cornette is a guy who's known as one of the ebst wrestling minds in the business - even if he does overemphasise his worth and value if given half a chance. By releasing him, now Vince Russo has more or less complete creative control.
In the event of the inevitible, I call dibs on behalf of ROH for the contracts of Homicide and MCMG...
