Van Risen vs Blake Baker vs Dan Murph vs Victor Hugo Fontaine vs Peter Paley vs Antonio De Luca vs Lance Burkehart vs Blade LaVigne vs Sky Ryder vs Castor Troy vs Thor
Mykal Adams & Trent "TJ" James vs Flawless LLC. vs T-Dog & OBG
In the final match of the gauntlet for the gold, Florida State Champion Van Risen will enter his third match of the evening and take on possibly his hardest foe to date, in former Champion The One. Over the last month in a half, this feud has grown to a fever pitch with each man now forced to sign a no contact clause until Greed. This match pit’s two of the most decorated men in the history of business against each other, but it’s about more than a title, it’s about respect, it’s about competition. Will Risen walk out with his most prized possession? Or will The One add another title to his resume? Order Greed in and find out.
A match that so many people have wanted to see is finally taking place at Greed, where the unique, abstract Killing Joke takes on the cold machine that is Scorch. This match was signed by new commissioner Mike Adams after both men demanded a title shot without thinking of any prior decision making, so Adams thought Greed was a perfectly fitting title for these men to finally go one on one, not to mention such a big stage as a PPV. This match is about the polar opposites meeting in the ring, fighting each other mentally and physically until the better man is known. This match will prove to be one of the most unique battles in WPW History.
When WPW opened it’s door, it was about taking under utilized talent like JMC, Scorch, and The One and letting them blossom into the stars of WPW, it was about making the dreams of those who deserved it come true, and for many that’s exactly what it did. Three years have past, many have come and gone, some even becoming legends; but at Redemption III, as The Stallion became World Champion, a new era of WPW was ushered in. Now as we enter Greed, WPW showcases the second generation of stars and future legends. In the Main Event, World Champion Stallion will defend his title against two men who long ago were considered the “Future” of WPW, in Salvador Karver and Gunnar Brian. Well folks, the future is now, and these three men will fight there hearts out for the one dream that they’ve had since entering this business, to enter that ring as World Champion. Tune in September 1st to find out if Stallion has the hunger to defend the championship as much as he did to earn it, or if either Salvador Karver or Gunnar Brian can dethrone him to become the new king of WPW. One thing is for sure though, the new era of WPW is here, and it’s going to be one hell of a show.
