Mykal Adams vs. Scorch vs. Antonio De Luca
The first of this week's non-televised matches saw a returning Mykal Adams take on new-comer Antonio De Luca and the owner of the SYS contract and eventual No.1 contender to the World title, Scorch. The main interest of the crowd seemed to be the 1UPmanship (80-85% sure that's a real word) between the two veterans throughout the entire match. De Luca was only able to get a few impactful moves here and there and made more than his fair share of rookie mistakes. However, it was suprisingly De Luca that sealed of the match when he dodged a spear from Mykal Adams and sent the former Florida State champion shoulder first in to the steel turnbuckle post. (Granted, it was by mistake. He sort of just stumbled out of the way). Quickly taking advantage of this situation, Scorch caught the rookie off-gaurd with a Spark (running knee) and covered the unconscious Italian for the three count.

The Franchise Players vs. Sky Ryder & Thor
This match was a little bit of a dissapointment with Trent "TJ" James of the Franchise Players being the only real member of the match who seemed to have his pink little heart in it. TJ must have been very excited to get oiled up and start touching men again because, after coming off a huge win that would lead his team in to a number one contenders match for the Tag Team titles, he seemed more than happy to prove himself in the ring again this week. In fact, TJ took on both of the opposing team members pretty much by himself and despite Sky Ryder being fresh after a break from WPW and Thor being.. Well.. The Norse god of Thunder, TJ still managed to over-come the mighty foes and hit Sky Ryder with "Sensations from Below" (Jumping Impact DDT)to secure a win for his team. For those wondering about Lance Burkehart (Hi Mrs Burkehart), he sort of just stood on the ring apron and looked pretty with his nice little red fauxhawk. Bless.

The One vs. Blake Baker
With Blake having a recent string of impressive matches that unfortunately didn't quite go in his favor, he came in to this one with a lot of motivation behind him. But with One coming off a huge win securing him in a Florida State title mach at Greed, he was just as motivated to keep his luck going and pick up another win here tonight. This one went back and forth for the most part, with the veteran in One taking advantage of several slight mistakes Blake made here and there through out the match but with the up-and-comer holding his own in the contest and getting the better of the Vet several times. But the end came when Blake rushed up the turnbuckle and went for a moonsault on The One, but the former World champion caught Blake in mid-air and repositioned him to drive him head-first in to the canvas with the God... Like...Drop. A hook of the leg, a three count and this match went to The One.

Van Risen vs. Killing Joke
Nearly 8 months after Van Risen's return against the Killing Joke at TNT's 2008 Christmas Special, these two finally went one on one tonight in a re-match of that closely contested festive bout. This match, just like it's original back in December, was certainly an interesting one with KJ using his strength and power while Risen relying on his speed and agility, aswell as both men being their usual strange selves. This match was pretty close once again and had everything from simply great wrestling to questionable dance moves. But it came to an abrupt close when Joke pulled Risen in with a double underhook, preparing for the Ass Wipe, but when KJ had Van on his shoulders, the FloTaNadian champion struggled out and dropped down on to the mat. Van then quickly connected with a kick to the gut then pulled KJ in with his own double under hook and desperately delivered the He Is Risen (Tiger Driver). Van covered the former World champion for another win.

Tuesday Night Turmoil!
August 11th, 2009
Edwards Hall
Miami, FL

Max: Well here we go ladies and gentlemen for Tuesday Night...

"What I've Done" blasts through the arena as the commissioner Mike Adams is shown on the Turmoiltron.

Adams: Hey guys, sorry for interrupting your stirring introduction, but I have an announcement to make. You see the past few weeks, these punks have been coming around trying to think that they run the show.

Well it appears I have to assert my authority and let everyone know that Mike Adams is the only one calling the shots around here, so I'm going to switch up the run sheet a bit.

Lower the cage.

The cage music plays as the steel cage begins to lower to the ring as WPW officials run out to secure the cage to the ring.

Daniel: Why is he lowering the cage? What's the meaning of this?

Max: I'm not sure but I'm sure he's about to tell us!

Adams: You're damn right I'm about to tell you if you guys would pipe down for a second.

Adams points to his earpiece letting Max and Daniel know he can hear them.

Adams: So, yeah, about tonight. I heard rumors that Dan wanted to to belly up to the bar before last call tonight so I think....why not...let's have the champion come out now to get himself some of the big Irish drunk.

Come on cue up that stolen track from the BASEketball soundtrack, let's get this underway!

Daniel: Did our commissioner just turn our World Champion into a curtain jerker?

Max: It appears he did, well we've got huge non-title steel cage action up right now!

Daniel: so here we are, the main event of the evening, well the orginal main event.... and what a match it should prove to be. Dan Murph a semi former champion, takes on the current World Champion in the Stallion. Not only that. But in a devastating steel cage.

Max: Why are we having this match again?

Daniel: Well last week Van Risen won a huge four way battle to pick the main event this evening, and for some reason he picked this match up. Some think it's to weaken Stallion for number one contender Sal Karver, others just think Van wanted to see a good brutal match.

Max: Well then let's get on with it.

The cage begins to lower, as the fans begin to cheer in excitment. As cage is lowered some people start chanting Wpw while others chant Stallion. Some signs read "go back to rehab!", "Stallion fears Brian", and "Gravedigger lives cock". As the buzz continues Mina walks into the ring, and Dan Murphs music hits.

Mina: Ladies and Gentleman the following contest is scheduled for one fall, it is a steel cage match where the only way to victory is through escape! intoducing first....

IPhysics *by Nural hits the speakers and out comes the menacing looking Dan Murph, he slowly walks down the ramp to mixed reaction from the crowd. He looks around for a moment, and a brief smile of relief hits his hardened face. He then looks up and down the cage. He feels it out for a moment, checking the durability of it. He then enters through the steel door hesitantly.

Mina: coming in at 6'8, weighing 300 pounds, he is a former co-WPW Champion he is Dannnnn Murrpppppphhhhh!!!!!!

Daniel: Well what can you say about the Irish Bastard Dan Murph, he's had one of the most controversial but prolific careers in our buisness, his title reign may have been flawed due to the title spliting, but you can't deny the fact that he is the only true raging monster since WPWs existance.

Max: Then there is the drug problems.

Daniel: No, we can't forget about that Dan Murph was recenly released from rehab due to drug addiction, and even now struggles with his alcohol addiction. Even going as far as going to AA. Let it be said though, we couldn't be more proud of him going on a track towards recovery others have failed to take.

Max: Yawn, just more sympathy for Dan Murph, be it Daddy issues, boyhood dreams, or down right melodrama I'm tired of the sad giant.

Daniel: How the hell do you know what melodrama is?!?

Max: You did get me a word a day calender Daniel.

Mina: and his opponent.....

"Take On Me" by Reel Big Fish hits the speakers. After the countdown out runs the WPW Champion to a huge ovation from the small crowd. He starts smacking the belt as he runs down, he unclips it from his waist and let's it drop to the ground. He then proceeds to climb the cage and reaches the top, he sits there and begins to clap and raising, trying to get the whole crowd going.

Mina: coming in at 6'1 weighing 212 pounds, he is the current reigning WPW Champion, The Ssssssstttttttaaaaallllllllion!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel: There he is, the man who realized his dream, The Stallion. Look at him just engrossed in the experience.

Max: He's stupid that's what he is.

Daniel: Why do you say that Max?

Max: Just look at him waste all of that energy climbing that cage, it's not like Dan Murph is a walk in the park. Not to mention he has a title match in a few weeks. It isn't exactly a easy road, he should be saving his damn energy, not playing to the peanut gallery.

Daniel: Good point about that Max. Plus that title match could be a triple threat. But the champion has said he's a fighting one, so I don't think a climb up the cage will stop this mans drive.

Max: Yeah, whatever. It still won't bring back my turtle.

Daniel: Oh god, not this again. Let's just get to the match.

Stallion enters the ring, and both men become far more serious. They stand at opposite sides ready to bounce. The ref leaves the ring, and on that account so do the rules. He locks the door and nods to the time keeper to ring the bell.

DING DING

Daniel: and we are underway.

Both men circle each other for a moment until they grapple up. Stallion wins the battle getting Dan into a headlock, however Dan uses his size to lift Stallion up and drive him back first into the steel cage. Stallion revels in pain for a moment and then falls to the ground. Dan murph delivers three kicks to the back of Stallion to hopefully build a injury that will slow the champion. He then lifts Stallion up to his feat and puts his face on the steel cage, Stallion however trys to deliver a elbow to Murph who is now behind him, but Murph gets out of the way and delivers a forarm right to Stallions back, the force sending Stallions face right back into the steel.

Daniel: Murph with the early offense, he looks like a man on a mission. While the champ looks flustered.

Max: I told you, he doesn't respect the big man enough, that title will make your head huge. The moron.

Daniel: Well if he doesn't respect Murph, I think Murph will demand it.

Murph then leans the world champion against the cage again but this time walks to the other side of the ring to get a running start. Once he gets there he bounce himself off the ropes like Wyle E. Coyote and charges at max speed at Stallion, he leans his body down to attempt a spear to Stallions back, and as he charges lowers his head, then BAM! Stallion quickly gets out of the way causing Murph to go face first right into the cage, momentarily knocking the giant silly and in between the ropes and cage. Stallion slowly gets up, and grimeses in pain while grabbing him back for a moment, he then looks at Murph in furious anger and starts delivering furious kicks to the mid section of the bent over, propped up Murph. This takes Murph out of his daze, into gut wrenching pain.

Daniel: The champion acting quickly, and moving quicker returns the favor to Murph, we are just starting this match and the both are already using the cage as a weapon.

Max: they don't care about wrestling, they just want to hurt each other.

Daniel: I hate to say this put your absolutely right Max. This match just seem personal, word in the back is both just don't like each other. Murph doesn't like that the Stallion is champion, and Stallion is sick of all of Dans excuses.

Max: Dan is just mad Stallion is succeeding where he couldn't, at being a Champion. And Stallion is mad that Murph is still regarded and sometimes feared, even after all if his crap.

Daniel: Maybe Risen really did have a plan when booking this match.

Murph finally pushes himself out of in between the cage and ropes, and falls to the ground. Stallion doesn't waste anytime by jumping ontop of Murph and begins to pummel him with left and rights to the head.[/font]

Daniel: So far both men haven't even considered wrestling moves, this is just a brawl.

Stallion continues to throw blows until Murph grabs Stallions right arm as he throws it and moves it away from him sending stallions body weight to the left, where murph delivers too huge elbows to Stallions side MMA brawler style. This send the Champion off Murph, and they both take a slight breather, to few sporatic claps from the crowd. Murph is the first up, shaking off the shots, then up comes the Champion. They both then walk up to each other get nose to nose, and start exchanging banter not appropriate for television. Stallion then pushes Murph, pushing him back a foot or so, Murph then just smiles and walks up and pushes stallion sending Stallion stumbling all the way to the ropes.

Max: Great a pissin contest between a midget and a druggy.

Daniel: Both men are men of egos. They just can't help it.

Stallion leans in the ropes for a moment and shakes off his frustration, before walking right back up to Murph pushing him again. This time it moves Murph back maybe a foot or two, Murph then grows angry and shoves Stallion hard, stallion stumbes back into the ropes, but this time uses them for leverage, bouncing off them back at Murph, where Stallion delivers a hard right hand knocking Murph back again, However Dan counters with a right of his own, but Stallion stays right there with him exhanging right hands. After 4 or 5 rotations of going back and forth, Murph leans his arm back for a huge haymaker, but Stallion ducks under it and delivers a knee right to Dans mid section, causing him to bend over in a 90 degree angle. Stallion puts Murph in a headlock, kicks his foot in a whipping motion and delivers a snap DDT to the much larger Dan Murph.

Daniel: and finally the first wrestling move of the night.

Stallion gets to his feet and struggles to lift Dan Murph up, once he gets him semi up, he delivers a William Regal Esque uppercup sending Murph completely up, he then tries to Irish whip Murph but Murph plants his feet and doesn't all him to move, the champion tries once more to no avail. Murph then uses all of his body weight to Irish whip Stallion, this force sends Stallion into the cage face first, he then falls back towards Murph where Murph Irish whips into the other corner for the same result. Thos time as Stallion comes back, Murph lifts him for a traditional lifting backbreaker. Sending Stallion to the ground grabbing his back in pain.

Max: some good traditional back and forth wrestling there.

Daniel: What in the Hell was traditional about that?!

Max: Um.... They're in a ring?

Daniel: Good job Max.

Dan then lifts the champion quite easily, delivers a knees to the sternum and moves the champion over to a side of the steel cage, he the lifts him up and vertically suplexs him right into the cage! Stallion falls off the cage awkwardly, and lands his whole body in between the ring ropes and cage. Dan sees his opportunity to getout of there.

Daniel: Well here’s Dan chance, looks like Stallion could barely walk, let alone stop Murph from leaving the cage.

Max: Come on Fatty, beat the Champion, and prove you’re still worth something.

Daniel: That’s not nice Max.

Max: Nice isn’t going to bring my turtle back.

Dan looks at Stallion again, and begins to climb the cage, it seems Dan Murph’s size isn’t working to his advantage for the first time in this match. He makes it up the cage somewhat slowly, but Stallion begins to stir and as he revels in pain, he sees Murph and starts to get up slowly, he holds his chest for a moment, and see’s the Murph is almost at the top of the cage. He somewhat jogs over to Murph’s side of the ring, and heads to the turnbuckle, everyone looks on confused for a moment as Stallion reaches the top rope.

Daniel: Why did he go top rope? Murph can jump out as soon as he makes it over, it makes no sense.

Max: I think Stallion may have just lost it. Oh well, that’s what he gets.

Daniel: No, wait… look.

Max: What?

Daniel: He’s aiming for Murph…..

Stallion looks over to Murph who is trying to pull himself up, Stallion then stands himself up on the rope, and leaps from the turnbuckle feet first at Dan Murph, Stallion hit’s a missile dropkick to the side of Murph, sending both men crashing down to the mat floor. The crowd cheers in excitement.

Daniel: That was amazing by the young champion, suicidal but amazing.

Both men remain down for a few moments, until the Stallion is the first one to get up, he looks over to Murph and tries to pick him up, but he is too heavy and has simply become dead weight. Stallion thinks for a moment about how to approach the situation. Stallion then decides to push Murph’s limp carcass over to the corner.

Daniel: it looks like Murph is out cold, but instead of climbing the cage, he begins to move him? What is with the strategy of the Champion tonight? I just don’t get it.

Max: He’s going for the Moonsault, duh.

And that’s exactly what he is doing, soon as he get’s Murph in position he slowly takes his tired body up the turnbuckle, he goes up one, then another, then another, until he finally reaches the top again to the delight of the fans.

Daniel: Insult to injury or finishing the job? You decide.

Max: Neither… look.

All of sudden Dan Murph springs up and smiles as he was playing possum the whole time. He runs ups to the champion and hits him in the chest, sending him to the sitting position on the top rope. Murph goes for a punch and connect, sending the champions head against the cage, he goes for another, but Stallion delivers a kick sending Murph back. Stallion turns around, to climb the cage. Now with Stallions back to Murph Stallion comes back full speed, and gives Stallion a thunderous forearm to Stallions back.

Daniel: Oh, working Stallions back is finally paying off for Murph it stopped Stallion right in his tracks.

Max: Now things get dangerous.

Murph then looks at Stallion cringing in pain and moves under him into performer a power bomb maneuver, the fans take a huge deep breathe as Murph begins to pick him up.

Daniel: He’s going to kill him!

Max: Kill him!

Stallion grabs the steel cage with his hands trying to fight off Murph’s strength, the struggle continues until Stallion uses his upper body strength to get out of the power bomb slightly and get one foot back on the turn buckle, he finally get’s completely out of it by getting his other foot back on the turnbuckle, and before Murph can turn around he does a donkey kick to the back of Murph’s head sending Murph back briefly. Stallion then frantically begins to climb.

Daniel: Oh the Champion is trying to get out of the cage good thinking,

Stallion hurries to the top of the cage and begins to push his body over, but Murph hurries to the top rope and grabs Stallions left foot, Stallion tries to kick free, but to no avail again. Murph seems to black out for a moment out of nowhere and let go of Stallions foot.

Daniel: Why did Murph let go?

Max: I think he just blacked out for a minute.. What the hell..

Daniel: Looks like Stallion has this match…

Stallion moves his feet over the other side of the cage, and is about to fall down when out of nowhere Murph comes back and grabs Stallion by the hair, Stallion is only in the cage by his hair now. As Stallion continues in this painful position Murph tries his best to keep hold of Stallion’s hair. Stallion however won’t climb back over, he is willing to go bald. Murph realizes that there is no way to get Stallion back in the ring by his own means and just lets go, and Stallion falls to the outside mat.

The Winner of this match, WPW Champion TTTTHHHHHEEEE SSSSSSTTTTTTTAAAAAALLLLIIIOON!!!!!!

Daniel: What a brutal opening contest, but after a hard fought battle, the WPW Champion won by the hairs on his head, literally. Both men should be proud of this effort, and can you believe this show is just starting?

Max: Don’t we have to pay the bills.

Daniel: Sure do, we’ll be right back with more TNT!

Max: Well okay here we go, it looks like we've got the contract signing next. That is if our beloved commissioner doesn't try to change things up again.

Daniel: Hey come on, that was a great way to start off tonight's broadcast.

"What I've Done" hits and Mike Adams walks out with a contract in hand. Adams shakes hands with a few fans on the way down to the ring. He steps into the ring and grabs the mike.

Adams: So how you guys liking the show tonight?

The crowd roars with approval.

Adams: Good! And I know you guys are going to love this because we are going to make the Florida State Title match between The One and Van Risen officially official right here, right now!

Just how deep do you believe?

Will you bite the hand that feeds?

"The Hand That Feeds" echoes through the arena and out comes the challenger for the Florida State title, The One.

Adams: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the number one contender for the Florida State Championship, not my favorite person in the world, but you all seem to love him....The One!

One steps in the ring and Adams extends a hand to him, but One simply walks past the commissioner and takes his seat as Adams smirks a little bit. One's music is quickly switched over with "No Fear" hits and the super-champion steps through the curtain.

Adams: And here he is ladies and gentlemen, your champion of almost everything, Mr. Ubergold himself, Van Risen!

Van steps into the ring and immediately One gets up and the two warriors stare at each other from across the table and almost butt heads before Adams pushes both of them back.

Adams: Now hold the phone here! I'm in charge and I swear to you, this will be an organized contract signing with no shenanigans, so you two will have to cool off and sit down right now.

Both men are still standing looking at each other both looking like they are ready to explode.

Adams: Hey listen you two idiots, if you don't sit down right now I swear there will be hell to pay. Van, if you don't calm down I will strip you of every single title you have and take away your partner's World Title shot! One, it would give me great pleasure to flat out fire your ass if you don't calm down right now!

I'm in control here, neither of you two are...so sit down and let's hammer this contract out and make it official.

Both One and Van look at Mike then back at each other and slowly start to sit down.

Adams: That's better. Now here in my hand I have the contract for your match at Greed. And to ensure that this match will indeed happen at Greed I'm going to institute a "no contact" clause.

Quite simply that means, that those threats I made before will take effect if either one of you lays a hand on each other before Greed. You see guys, this is a match that I know the WPW fans are all salivating for and I want to make sure they get their money's worth. So if you would please sign on the dotted line with your respective Herbie Hancocks.

Adams slides the contract over to the challenger first. One briefly scans it while keeping one eye on Van. Then quickly signs on the line at the bottom of the document.

Adams: Now, champ, if you would...

Adams slips the contract to Van, and Van signs it immediately without looking at it and keeps both eyes trained on The One. Then Mike grabs the contract.

Adams: Good men. Now as an official show of respect, I'd like you two to shake hands. And don't worry, this doesn't count as violating the "no contact" rule.

Both men look at Adams like he's insane.

Adams: Gentlemen, please shake hands...as a show of respect.

One looks away and extends his hand. Van sneers in disgust and gives the quickest handshake in the history of the world as Adams smiles.

Adams: Oh...and one more thing for both of you. Since these fans deserve the best showing from the two of you...next week you will both have tune up matches. One, I'd like to give you a challenge with another WPW Champion, and someone I'm sure you are quite familiar with. And that would be Stallion.

One looks irate but then just chuckles a bit and nods as Adams turns to Van.

Adams: And you Mr. Ubergold, I contemplated putting you against another WPW Champion, but I thought how the hell could I do that, so why not have a Former Champion vs an UberChampion match next week? So you will fight in a non-title encounter against our Former World Champion Scorch!!!

Adams laughs a bit as the fans cheer wildly. Adams climbs out of the ring with the contract in his hands. Van and One are staring at Adams and then turn their attention to each other.

Adams: Remember boys...try to keep your hands to yourselves.

Daniel: While we get set up for the next match, we've got time to show an exclusive in-depth interview that I taped ealier with WPW Hall of Famer and ex-WPW World Champion, The Killing Joke. It's shocking.........it's revelatory.........it's ........well, it's not what I expected. Roll VT.

Max: I thought we were digital now.

Daniel (through gritted teeth) : Roll VT!

The screen shows KJ and Daniel seated in the middle of the WPW ring in an empty arena.

Daniel: Killing Joke - Thanks for agreeing to this interview - your first since the loss of your title at Redemption earlier this year.

Killing Joke: Still to be tested in the courts, that decision.

Daniel: You're taking Stallion to court?

KJ: I'm challenging hime to a tennis death match - first to 3 sets wins the title back and if that doesn't work, then it's on to the basketball court. I'm a demon with the slam drunk.

Daniel: Slam dunk.

KJ: Not the way that I play.

Daniel: Let's move on. Since TNT restarted after the summer break, your path seems to keep crossing that of Scorch. What is this deep seated beef that you seem to have with him?

KJ: Beef? What I have with Scooch is a whole herd of Aberdeen Angus munching away on the grass and dropping stuff that he recycles as promos every week.

Daniel: Yet, he's on record as calling you 'WPW's flagship aquisition - without doubt, the most exciting performer in the Sports Entertainment business since The Rock hung up his jockstrap'

KJ: Ooh, that sounds quite good! Got any more?

Daniel: 'A worthy champion - The man most main eventers would rather have tap dance on their scrotums than fight solo in a wrestling ring.'

KJ: And Scooch said that about me?

Daniel: I'm as surprised as you are. These quotes were prominent in his biog folder in Carlos Gonzalez' old desk.

KJ: Did you not find the one I put in where he says that, owing to its fabled healing powers, that he'd happily gargle with the contents of my spit bucket.

Daniel: Have you been tampering with.........?

KJ: There is no maneuver that is beyond my reach and imagination, Daniel. You know this surely.

Daniel: I should have guessed when I found the photo of Scorch worshipping the mummified foreskin of Michael Jackson.

KJ:.......em.....I think that one was real actually.

Daniel: So, when you meet Scorch in the ring, which I believe is being considered for a co-main event at Greed, we can expect sparks to fly?

KJ: I dunno? Is Jordin Sparks gonna be his manager or somethin? It's usually the wrestler that flies, but I'll watch out for any flying managers. Maybe I otta get me an American Idol winner in my corner, justa be on the safe side. I hear that Kelly Clarkson does a mean High Angle Senton Bomb.

Daniel: Once again, KJ, your answers leave the questions best unasked, but I thank you for your time, and can you now please take your hand off my knee?

KJ: With pleasure, Daniel, with pleasure. And if that police guy investigating the bent notes asks, you ain't seen me, right?

Cut back to the announce table.

Daniel: You know, the more I hear from Killing Joke since he lost the title, the more I think that The Jokester is back.

Max: You could be right, Daniel. You could be right.

Up next was the tag team shot at a shot match between OBG and T-Dog taking on the duo of Peter Paley and VHF. At first it seemed Paley’s luck with tag partners might have turned a corner as the pair easily cleared the ring of OBG and T-Dog to open the match. Paley had control for a bit before tagging out to VHF, who waited too long to continue to the attack on T-Dog and let the tag come to OBG who turned the tide in his team’s favor. OBG scored a near fall following a big Head-Crack. The two then traded control of the match for a bit, hitting various impact moves and reversals. VHF looked impressive displaying his speed and technical prowess, while OBG showed his ability to improvise counter attacks. Eventually after a bit of control by OBG VHF bought some time with a desperation enziguri and got the tag to Paley. Paley came in and immediately knocked T-Dog from the apron and started trading blows with OBG. Paley seemed a man possessed as he would take down OBG then make sure to knock T-Dog off the apron again and again. Finally Paley hit the Moonlight Drive. At this point Powell made sure VHF got a blind tag to try and steal the win. Paley tried to make the cover, but the referee refused to count. VHF then hopped on top of OBG who kicked out at two. Powell then hopped on the apron to complain about the slow count as Paley reached into his pocket. VHF picked up OBG to try for the Coup De Grace. Once the two were up, Paley unleashed a vicious brass knuckle shot right to VHF’s skull, sending him crumbled to the mat. He then rolled out of the ring staring down Powell daring him to make a move. OBG seemed a bit confused but fell back to tag in T-Dog. T-Dog picked up the limp body of VHF and reminded him that the Truth Hurts as he drove him face first into the mat. T-Dog then hooked the leg as he scored the win for his team via pinfall. After the match Powell was livid with Paley, but refused to get close enough for any physical confrontation.

The camera pans to Lance Burkeheart watching to a television of the match.

Lance: Sucks to be them.

Blade Lavigne then walks into the shot to the surprise of everyone.

Blade: I’m back, I missed this place.

Burkeheart looks at him in disgust.

Lance: I’m back, I missed this place.

Blade: What?

Lance shakes head.

Lance: How the fuck do you like it?

Daniel: Up next is Mykal’s Corner with TJ Trent James. Last week Mykal was a guest on TJ’s show, but it ended in the brawl. This week Mykal will have his turn to ask the questions especially about TJ’s unkind comments about Adams Mother.

Max: So where is he.

Daniel: I don’t know he should be out here, his set is all set up. Wait, we have a camera in back, let’s go to it now.

We switch to a camera in back that shows Mykal down on the ground in a pool of his own blood, with a steel chair on the ground. Road Managers surround him to get him safe, as he is out cold.

Road Manager 1#: What happened?

Road Manager 2#: He was walking towards the ring, and he was attacked.

Road Manager 1# I don’t know I wasn’t here, and he was attacked from behind.

Trent “TJ” James comes walking from the back, and looks “surprised” about the situation. He looks on and then asks nonchalant…

Marvelous TJ: What happened to him?

The Road manager just looks at him and shakes his head.

Marvelous TJ: What?

Max: Well there goes that segment.

Daniel: More importantly we all hope Mykal Adams is ok. “Whoever” is responsible for this, will have to pay.

Max: You’re not implying…

The show cuts backstage, where Ethan Frost is standing by with the holder of the Sell Your Soul contract, Scorch, who seems to be showing signs of recent attacks and accidents.

Ethan: Scorch last week we saw Peter Paley and T-Dog, seemingly under the orders of The Killing Joke, viciously assault you backstage. What are your thoughts?

Scorch: Well Ethan, for starters, ouch. Those two may not be the brightest young stars we have in WPW, but they can hit hard, especially when they sneak up on you.

Ethan: Now what about the orchestrator of the attack?

Scorch: The Killing Joke has had a bit of a thing for me for some time. Truth is, he has always been much more concerned with me than I was with him. Of course now I do have to at least give him the time of day, but after I am done proving once again why I am better than him, and why he is the one that needs to sweat me, I will go back to the way things have been, an unrequited obsession of his.

“Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.”

Scorch: Ethan is this your idea of a joke?

“Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.”

Ethan: No, I swear I have no idea what this is about.

Scorch: Come on, Killing Joke, bring out the sex toy, or the cheap innuendo that you try to amaze people with, even though it is always the type of thing you can hear in a high school locker room. Show us all the funny doctored photo, or the clever quip you imagined after seeing is on some cheap show you pray nobody else has ever watched.

“Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha…”

Suddenly the laughter stops and Scorch looks a mix of pleased and relieved. Then the sound of Ethan gasping is heard as the lights go out. When they come back on Ethan screeches, much like a horrified woman, as Scorch found laying on his back in what first appear to be a pool of blood. Soon it becomes clear the substance pouring from him is not blood but blue paint. Officials come rushing in as the blue liquid poors from his mouth, nose and ears, his contorted body laying still.

We return to TNT with The Stallion heading to the ring to do commentary. As he walks down the hall, he sees The One standing against the wall. Stallion nods at him and keeps walking but The One says something

The One: So I guess I’ll see you next, but this time you’ll be The Champion.

Stallion stops for a moment.

Stallion: Yeah, what’s the difference, I’ll face anybody.

The One: Oh there is a difference my child, every man you face wants that title around your waste. I however want something far different.

Stallion: … and what’s that?

The One stops leaning, and comes closer to Stallion and whispers.

The One: Don’t worry Champ, trust me… You’ll thank me when it’s over.

The One smiles and walks away and Stallion thinks for a moment and continues on towards the ring.

Daniel: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for our main event of the evening, as two rivals who know each other quite well square off

Max: It’s one of the biggest feuds in WPW history, with so much on the line

Daniel: Gunnar Brian takes on Sal Karver. If Gunnar Brian wins, he gets added to the title match at Greed

Max: Is this the final chapter in this saga, or only the beginning?

Daniel: Let’s find out now

Mina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

“Take On Me” hits the speakers, as the crowd looks to each other in confusion. At the end of the countdown, the confusion doesn’t bother them as the WPW Champion makes his way from the back dressed in street clothes. He slaps the hands of the fans along the way, before joining Max and Daniel at the announce table.

Daniel: Well folks, it looks as though we’re being joined by the WPW Champion Stallion

Max: What brings you out here champ?

Stallion: Well how many other chances am I going to get to see the potential contenders in action?

Daniel: Very true. Thank you for joining us

“Devil’s Child” plays in the arena, as Gunnar Brian comes out to a strong chorus of boos Gunnar soaks in the negative reaction, and circles the ring. He makes eye contact with Stallion, gesturing the title belt across his waist. Gunnar slides into the ring, and raises his arms up in the air.

Mina: Introducing first: From Manchester, England, weighing in at 239 pounds… Gunnar Brian!

Max: Gunnar Brian has been making his presence known in these past few weeks since returning

Stallion: That may be the case, but he better be careful

“Embrace” hits the speakers, and Sal Karver makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction. He doesn’t focus at all on Stallion, instead keeping his eyes on Gunnar Brian in the ring.

Mina: And his opponent: From St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 205 pounds… “Spectacular” Sal Karver!

Daniel: Here comes man who is guaranteed a shot at the WPW title at Greed

Max: And if he wins this match, it’ll be only him going to Greed

Daniel: With that in mind, are you pulling for Sal Karver in this match Stallion?

Stallion: Well to be honest, even though it’d be easier to defend against only one, I’ve got a score to settle with both these guys

The bell rings, and Karver comes charging at Brian, backing him into the ropes. Karver keeps his charge at Brian, taking him into the corner, and driving his shoulder in deep. The referee starts his count, trying to pry Karver off Brian.

Daniel: Karver off to an early advantage in these opening seconds

Max: Karver wants to stop Gunnar before he can get any momentum

Karver backs away from Brian, as both men stand in the ready position. Before Brian can fully protect himself, Karver once again charges at Brian, hammering him with rights and lefts in the corner. Karver switches from fists to elbows, as Brian can barely defend his head from the blows.

Daniel: Look at the offense by Sal Karver

Stallion: He’s hungry for a fight

Karver grabs the head of Brian, and pulls him towards the ropes. Karver Irish whips Brian off the ropes, who comes charging right into a shoulder block from Karver. Karver drops down and makes the cover.

One…
Tw… Kickout!

Daniel: Kick out at two by Gunnar Brian

Max: Sal’s gotta do a lot more than that to put away Gunnar Brian, he should know that

Daniel: Very true. Both these men have faced off countless times in countless battles

Max: But now they have something different to fight for

Both men return to their feet, though Karver helps Brian by grabbing him by the head. Karver quickly backs Brian into the turnbuckle again, and whips him to the other side. Brian counters, and tries whipping Karver into the corner. But Karver is able to put on the brakes early, and strongly whips Brian back into the corner. Brian stops himself before he collides with the referee, and turns right into a belly to belly suplex from Karver, who makes the cover.

One…
Two… Kickout!

Daniel: Sal Karver is on fire here tonight

Both men make it back to their feet, but Karver is first to strike with a hard right hand. Brian backs into the corner, and is whipped across the ring by Karver. Karver charges shoulder first at Brian, who ducks out of the way at the last moment, sending Karver shoulder first into the post and tumbling to the outside.

Max: Well, it had to end sooner or later

Stallion: That’s one of the things about Gunnar Brian. He’s so quick to capitalize on a mistake

Karver is on the outside, grabbing his shoulder. The referee begins his ten count, as Brian makes it back to his feet. Brian asks the referee to count faster, hoping to get Karver counted out.

One…
Two…
Three…

Daniel: Sal Karver is still feeling from that missed spear

Max: And Gunnar isn’t looking to help him out at all

Stallion: He wants a quick count out win

Max: And he could very well get it

Brian has backed into the ropes, begging the referee to speed up his count. Karver is still on the outside, grabbing his shoulder.

Four…
Five…
Six…

Daniel: I’m not sure if Karver can make it back into the ring in time

Karver starts to stir, making it up to his knees.

Seven…
Eight…

Karver is back to his feet, and quickly rolls into the ring. Brian attacks instantly with a series of hard stomps to the stomach of Karver. Brian grabs hold of the top rope to get more support as he slams his foot down on Karver. The referee begins his five count, and Brian breaks away at four.

Daniel: Gunnar Brian showing an aggressive side of his own

Max: But he’s letting up somewhat

Stallion: He doesn’t want to get disqualified, he’s being careful

Karver slowly makes it back to his feet, and Brian is ready with a quick elbow to the face. Karver stands up straight, a bit stunned from the hit. Brian continues to strike Karver with elbows and clubs to the back of the head, as Karver walks around the ring to continue standing. Brian then grabs Karver by the back of the head, and jumps in the air, hitting a standing dropkick. Karver rolls to the outside apron, and uses the ropes to get back to his feet. Brian bounces off the ropes, and sends his shoulder into the back of Karver, sending him flying face first into the barricade.

Daniel: What a knockout shot by Gunnar Brian!

Stallion: Karver ate the guardrail on that one

Max: It looks like it’ll be a triple threat for you champ!

Stallion: Don’t count Karver out just yet

Karver lies motionless on the outside, as the referee once again starts his ten count. Brian backs into the ropes, waiting to see Karver get counted out.

One…
Two…
Three…
Four…

Karver doesn’t move an inch.

Five…
Six…
Seven…
Eight…

Stallion: Gunnar is again looking for the count out. He could go get Sal and bring him back into the ring, but he won’t. He just wants to win as easily as possible

Max: But you have to admit its sound strategy. A win by any means necessary

Karver starts to stir on the outside.

Nine…

With everything he has, Karver makes it to his feet and dives back into the ring. But Brian is waiting, dropping an elbow again and again on the back of Karver’s head, flattening him on the mat. Brian makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Thr… Kickout!

Daniel: Sal Karver was just able to kick out there

Max: How he made it back into the ring is anybody’s guess

Brian is to his feet first, but Karver is not far behind. Once Karver gets to his knees, Brian moves in for the offense. But Karver answers with a hard shot to the gut of Brian, then another to the chest. Karver makes it back to his feet, and charges against the ropes. Karver comes sprinting back, only to get knocking back down from a flying heel kick by Brian, who quickly makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Daniel: Another kickout by Karver there

Max: That kid will not go down easy

Stallion: He knows how to keep fighting

Brian takes a few steps back, as Karver returns to his knees. Brian responds quickly with a hard right hand against the face of Karver, staggering him. Brian continues to strike Karver with slow right hands, until Karver is back to his feet. Karver struggles to keep to his feet, as Brian backs Karver into the corner. Brian throws another fist, but Karver counters with a punch of his own. Karver starts to build momentum in his punches, eventually taking Brian down with a fisherman’s suplex. Karver makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Daniel: What a counter by Karver

Max: Out of nowhere!

Stallion: He’s that quick, you need to watch out for him

Both men return to their feet, and Karver backs Brian into the ropes. Karver whips Brian, but Brian counters and sends Karver across the ring. As Karver comes running back, Brian grabs Karver by the back of the head and tosses him to the outside of the ring, causing Karver to fall hard onto the outside.

Max: Air Karver!

Daniel: Did you see the height Sal Karver reached with that throw

Stallion: Gunnar Brian is ruthless, we all know that

The referee starts his ten count once again, with Karver not moving in the slightest. Brian takes the time to look over towards the announce table, and point towards Stallion. Brian gestures a title belt across his waist, and yells at Stallion.

Stallion: Yeah, I see you Gunnar

Daniel: Gunnar Brian having words with our WPW Champion

As the referee reaches nine on his count, Karver dives back into the ring once again. Brian again continues his assault on Karver before he can even stand. But Karver is ready to fight back, as the two men trade blows. Karver backs Brian into the ropes, who once again counters the whip and sends Karver running. Brian looks to once again throw Karver over, but Karver ducks and hits the ropes again. Karver then leaps with a flying corssbody, but Brian ducks out of the way, sending Karver crashing into the mat. Brian takes advantage and makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Daniel: Another kickout!

Max: I don’t believe it

Karver is sitting up, and Brian grabs the back of the head of Karver. Using his right knee into the back, Brian cranks the head of Karver back in a modified Camel Clutch. Karver struggles to break free, as Brian keeps the hold locked in tight.

Max: Gunnar Brian with some innovative offense there

Daniel: It looks as though he’s got in a camel clutch like move

Stallion: Gunnar is trying out new submissions, looking to see which one is the most painful

Daniel: Are you worried about Gunnar Brian Stallion?

Stallion: I’m not afraid of the pain. You saw the cage match earlier. I’m banged up but I’m still here

Karver slowly makes it back to his feet, and tries to break the grip of Brian. Karver focuses on breaking the left arm loose, as the grip of Brian slowly fades away. Brian breaks the hold, and Karver responds with a quick elbow to the gut, then the head. Karver backs Brian into the ropes, but Brian counters yet again. As Karver comes charging back, Brian is bent over for a back body drop. Karver puts on the brakes, and kicks Brian right across the face. Karver backs into the ropes and charges, but Brian answers with a big boot to the face, taking Karver down. Brian makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Max: Sal Karver will not go down so easily

Daniel: I wouldn’t say it’s easily at this point anymore

With Karver still dazed on the mat, Brian takes the time to climb to the top turnbuckle. He doesn’t move quickly, which gives Karver enough time to recover, and knock Brian on the top turnbuckle. Brian loses his balance, and straddles the top rope. Karver climbs to the top joining him, and delivers a series of quick right hands. Karver then throws the arm of Brian over his neck in superplex position. Brian keeps himself planted, hitting Karver in the side with right hands to block the move. Karver releases the suplex position, and Brian knocks Karver off the turnbuckle with a headbut. Karver crashes to the mat, and slowly gets to his feet, as Brian is perched on the top rope. Brian nails Karver with a top rope clothesline, and makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Daniel: Sal Karver again gets the shoulder up!

Max: How much more does this kid have left in the tank

Stallion: It might surprise you

Brian looks frustrated at the referee, hoping for a three count. Brian stands over Karver, and once again locks in the modified version of the Camel Clutch. Karver screams out in pain, but is able to get back to his feet with Brian on top of him. Karver quickly drops to his back, releasing Brian’s hold. Both men are down, and slowly make it back to their feet. Karver is up first, and bounces off the ropes, dropping Brian back down with a bulldog.

Daniel: And Karver looks to build up a head of steam here

Both men return to their feet, but Karver is in control. Karver knocks Brian back down with a series of clotheslines until Brian is unable to continue standing. With Brian flat on his back, Karver heads to the top rope, signaling for the end.

Daniel: This could be it, Karver could wrap things up here

Max: So maybe it will be a one on one match at Greed champ

Karver hits the Spectacle moonsault, but Brian rolls out of the way. Karver shows amazing balance by landing on his feet. As Karver tries to get back on level footing, Brian pops up from the mat, and hits a quick DDT. Brian makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Max: I don’t believe it

Daniel: Sal Karver kicks out again

Stallion: Even after everything Gunnar Brian throws at him, he keeps getting back up

Max: Are you afraid?

Stallion: I’m impressed

Brian again begs the referee for a count of three, but to no avail. Brian once again starts to climb to the top rope, but Karver is able to stand back up and fight Brian down. Karver fights to get the superplex a second time, but once again Brian slips out. Brian slips off the top rope, and lands in the standing position next to Karver. Brian takes the opportunity to grab Karver for an electric chair drop. But Karver hits a victory rolls instead on Brian.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Daniel: So close there for Karver

Max: But not close enough

Both men are back up, but Brian is crawling towards the corner. Karver cuts him off, and stands him up in the corner. Karver then Irish whips Brian into the opposite side, then charges at him. But Brian counters with a big boot at the oncoming Karver. With Karver dazed, Brian is able to connect with the Better Than You Piledriver. Brian makes the cover.

One…
Two…
Three… Karver gets his foot on the bottom rope.

Daniel: He got his foot on the ropes!

Max: I don’t believe it!

Daniel: Sal Karver has kicked out of the Better Than You!

Stallion: I don’t think Gunnar Brian has a move that can put Sal Karver away

Gunnar Brian brings his hands to his head, frustrated at what it takes to put Sal Karver away. Gunnar goes for the cover again, but this time puts his feet on the ropes for extra leverage.

One…
Two…
Three… Kickout!

Stallion: And now we see Gunnar Brian resort to cheating

Max: Any means necessary

Stallion: And it seems that Gunnar Brian has no problem doing just that

Gunnar Brian slaps the mat over and over, refusing to believe Sal Karver has kicked out. Gunnar Brian grabs the referee by the shirt, threatening him. With Gunnar distracted, Sal Karver takes the time to slowly make it make to his feet. As Gunnar turns around, Sal Karver sends a quick kick to the gut, the sets up for the Difference DDT. Karver and Brian circle, and Brian pushes Karver off. Karver collides with the referee, knocking the ref down. With the referee distracted, Gunnar Brian connects with a low blow on Sal Karver, then grabs him with a schoolboy roll-up.

One…
Two… Gunnar grabs the tights of Sal Karver
Three…

Mina: Here is your winner… Gunnar Brian!

Daniel: Gunnar Brian steals this one with a handful of tights

Max: By hook or crook, Gunnar Brian is going to Greed

Daniel: Gunnar Brian will face both Sal Karver and Stallion in a triple threat match for the WPW Championship at Greed

Gunnar Brian climbs the top turnbuckle, and points down at Stallion, who is now standing up from the announce table. Gunnar motions for the belt around his waist, while Stallion holds the WPW Championship high into the air.

Daniel: We are out of time for this week. For Max Stockton, I’m Daniel Justice, saying goodnight everybody!

The show closes with the sight of Gunnar Brian and Stallion eying each other down, as the credits begin to roll.

I really enjoyed the show, good job to all the writers and RP. The matches were entertaining and the backstage segments were interesting, I can't wait to see what happens next week :).

I knew I was gonna lose this week, I gotta snap this funk, I just have had so little time to RP lately. Sorry Gun Gun, I owe you a better fight than that.

Rest of the show is impressive, though very segment-heavy. The Blade joke actually made me laugh out loud, I was surprised by the cage match opening things, and the Scorch segment....weird.

Didn't read everything proper, but I liked it quite a bit considering.

Hmmmmmm....so I am thinking that Trent James hit Mykal with a chair shot. I mean....I could be wrong....I could be.....I will just wait and see how it all plays out.

Overall, this show had a good flow to it. I like how some feuds are progressing, but it also feels like some things are being rushed a bit. But hey, WPW just re-opened, so that is to be expected. Overall, I like the direction of the fed (as a whole).

Very good show from top to bottom! I liked my match, however dark or not. I think that this was a good show leading into Greed. Nice to see Gunnar Brian is back at the top of his game. I thought Dan had the match but The Stallion is a beast inside the ring. Was going to say a Stallion but thats a but too pun like. I like how TJ is being worked into the show. I think he might have had a little something to do with the Adams thing with the chair. Nonetheless a better review may come..

Who the fuck wrote my match?

Spot on.

I wrote all the dark matches, Scorch wrote the tag team match on TNT. APG just sort of mis-credited.
