Question that will probably get a yes answer from plenty of people:
Have you ever met a girl that you want to have a relationship with or fling or whatever it is you like to do, and then you find out the girl is already involved in a relationship?

It's like every time you meet a girl who meets all your qualifications, she ends up being taken already. The only ones left are the shy ones or the psycho ones usually...except in rare cases.

If only I were the kind of guy who would go out and purposely break up a relationship just to be with the girl.

Anyone else been in this kind of situation?

What's worse is when the girl acts like she's interested in you, then reveals she's in a relationship.

EXACTLY! That's exactly the situation I'm in. The girl acts like she's got a thing for me, unless I'm misreading her signals, and I talk to her friend about her today at work and she says she's in a relationship.

I think getting to the point to where you're actually in the relationship is soooo much harder than anything else involved with the relationship. Once you get to that point, for me, it's always been easy after that (well until the disagreements, etc., but you get what I mean).

well if you really like her then you should just keep been around and be a good friend to her, then maybe one day she has a fight or whatever with her bf then maybe she'll come to you.

I will tell you about my last relationship, this one is a belter, and the excuse is funny, but what happens next is the moment that made me get anger built up. I met this girl on the net, started talking, and started to get to know each other better. Things were going so good we decided to meet up, so we met up we had a nice chat and a walk. I walked her to the train, i knew she liked me because the way she was looking at me, i liked her so i kissed her goodbye. We got home and started texting each other. Then we met again, and we went to a park to sit down, we had another chat and kissed her goodbye, things were going well. I then met up with her again and we went back to her place, she had to go to college, then came the shocker, on the night, she sent me a message when i was online, she said we cannot go any further. My previous BF messed my feelings up, i am not ready for a relationship because i don't have the feelings for you and all that. So i said ok, but i said i would wait for the right time because i don't want to rush things, next thing i find out. This is the shocker, within the next few days, guess what she is going out with her close friend and they start a relationship. Her feelings were sorted out in a couple of days, when i found out i went ballistic. I stopped talking to her for a while, but she was online the other day so i sent her a message. Girls, and feelings, i hate it.

Well, not long after I made that last post, I called back up to the gym and talked to her friend for a few minutes longer (her friend works there, too, on the afternoons that I don't work).

I asked her if she thought I'd have a chance if they ever broke up (I was going to ask her to tell me when they did), but she really doubted it because they were talking about getting married. So I was like oh and knew my chance was probably gone then. She said, "and besides the guy she's dating is black". But the way she said it made it sound like she was meaning something more than just that she was dating a black guy. So I said what's the problem with that. She says that the girl ONLY dates black guys. But then she went on to say that I can still hang out with the girl when they come up to the gym and everything and one day we might be more than friends. I told her, "You just said she only dates black guys. I might be tan right now, but I doubt the tanning bed will ever get me THAT dark". :chuckles: We laughed and then I said bye.

I talked to my sister and one of my close friends about it later on. Both of them know her real well and both told me it was good that I didn't try to pursue her after the talk with her friend at the gym because they both knew bad things about her (and I trust both of those people, so I know they're not lying).

So, I think things worked out for the best here. I didn't sit here fretting about it, hoping that her and the boyfriend would one day break up, because I know I have no chance. :winkok:

Guys cannot be friends with girls. It's impossible.

You either want to bang them or end up banging them. Either way you won't be friends in the end.

I know.

Yep, it's happened to me a ton of times. Heck I had a nice blonde girl checking me out but her convinced her that I was a trouble maker and all this ****. She not interesting me now but I'm still ok with her. I occasionally talk to her as well.

But now I'm going out with my g/f everything is fine. People still go up to her and talk **** behind my back but she don't give a **** about it.

Totally disagree. ENTIRELY. I have two neighbors who I call my sisters. I grew up with them. Have known the one my age since she was born and knew the other one since I was three (which was when she was born). I look at them as family, not regular girls. I just think you weren't put in the same situation as some guys are. Because it IS possible to be friends with a girl and not want to have sex with her. It all depends on your background and how you were raised.

BURN!

Anyway, two years ago there was this girl who was checking me out, all the time she would smile at me and say hi to me and everything. Good part was that she was real good looking, well I was shy at the time and didn't have the guts to come up to her, and since then she's been turning into a slut by going out with all these guys so now I'm like whatever, there's other fishes in the sea.

Well, time to go fishing.

Oh GD you know that I am feelin ya brotha.

Those who have seen my posts on IOW know that I have been in GDs situation on many an occasion. As a matter of fact I considered breaking up a relationship but the fact that I have a concience stopped me.

Digger we have all been in these situations and it pisses the **** out of us. Worst of all is that I know that she knows that I know that she likes me and her BF knows that I know that she knows that he knows that she likes me.... I have been waiting so long to string a sentence like that togeather.

I have been in this situation on two occasions now, both at the same time. We just cant do anything about it. All we can do is sit back and just be friends with them, go home and have a toss. That is all you can do. Frustrating as hell but we have no choice what so ****ing ever.

GD you are a buff mother****er and a decent guy. Buff + Decent = GOOD. So just wait, be your buff/nice self and then she may break it off with this cracker and then is Digger time.

Had alot of fun posting here. I was going to go down the ego trip way buty decided not to.

We have all been there and chances are we always will be until we find the one.

Waiting is all well and good, but it won't do anything for me since she only dates black guys. She always turns down white guys. I might be tan right now, but no matter how many times I lay out in the sun or go to the tanning bed, I'll never be that dark. And she's smart enough to see through a bucket of black paint poured over my head.

But see, this whole situation pissed me off for a couple of hours that day and then I was like whatever, that's fine. She would turn me down because of my skin color, not because of me as a person.

Another reason it doesn't bother me anymore is because at the moment, I'm not out searching for girls and for a relationship. I'm in college and am currently moving really fast to finish college and get my career started and my business off the ground. Since I stopped worrying about girls and decided to concentrate on school for the time being, my grades have skyrocketed and I got on the President's List this semester...perfect GPA. But hey, if I meet a girl by accident and like her, I'll go for it, but until I graduate from the University with my Bachelor's degree, I'm not wasting my time pursuing anyone.

actually, I sat here and thought about what you said. I kinda disagree here. I think you're right if you think you REALLY REALLY like the girl. If you think there might be feelings there but you're not sure, then you should get to know her and be her friend. Because even if it doesn't work out between you and the girl, you'll at least have her as a friend and there's bound to be a couple of her friends who are single and your type. Then you've got something to work with.

If that was the case with me, then I woulden't feel bad about myself. She's got a problem if she goes out with a bloke because of his skin but not the person inside. I would forget about her and move on.

I didn't feel bad about myself. I was just pissed off at the fact that she only dates black guys. That's her preference and it's fine. I don't consider that racist like some people do because being friends with another race and DATING/Sleeping with someone of a different race are two different things entirely. That's her preference and I was mad that I wasn't part of that. Then I realized it wasn't ME that was being rejected.

I wasn't trying to say that's racist and that putting down anyone who dates/sleeps with someone of a different race. To me anyway it's not about skin colour. Sorry if I came off different.

Well black's nothin but a skin color. Being ghetto fabulous is a lifestyle. And you can take that to the bank. And cash it. Or deposit it if you don't have much money in your account. Or something. I don't know where I'm going with this.

Alright I don't know if this has ever happened to any of you. But have you ever been teased? For example, there was this girl, most popular girl in school and everything. Well one day (I have known her for a year now) in sixth period, (we get out of school at 3:08 pm) and the bell rang but an announcement was made to stay in class because there was a lockdown (there was a criminal running around the school) so we have to stay there. Well we where all throwing paper at each other, you know having fun. Well she was throwing paper at this guy who sat next to me, well she accidently hit me so she hurried to where I was and said I'm so sorry and she gave me a kiss on the cheek on where she hit me, so at this point, I was like "hot dam, I just got kissed by the most popular girl in school.....oh yeah." Well the paper war continued and some guys and girls were about to throw some paper had her so she ran over to me and buried her face on my shoulder, she literally just grabbed me, put her head on my shoulder, her face was about half-half-inch from my neck, well while she had her face buried there she was telling me how good I smelled and I was like I'll make sure no one will hit you(kinda cool because she leaned on me, one of her legs on top of mine so I was living the high life right there). Well the next day I decided to go up to her and try my luck and see how interested she was in me. Well I happened to be walking and I see her in a lip lock with another guy and I was like "What a ****ing Tease". Man, I had teasers, why do they have to play like that. Dam You Teasers!!!!

wtf, dude. You have some WEIRD people going to your school. I don't know if I'd call that teasing when someone in high school is climbing all over you due to a paper fight in class.

My high school wasn't like that, so I don't really know what's up with your situation.

I have a theory, maybe there is a conspiracy, maybe every woman have a plan to make guys life as bad as possible. Maybe there trying to take control over the world by destroying guys emotions.

Hey, but that was a theory I thought of while watching that 70's Show, (thanks Ashton Kutcher (kelso) for the idea) so this isn't technically my theory, so I just borrowed it.
