Teddy says that The Great American Bash was his first ppv as the General Manager of Smackdown, and early reports show it to have been a huge success. That doesn't surprise Teddy because he knows how to deliver the goods......unlike some other GM's in this company. Teddy says that Smackdown's ratings have increased since he took over, because week after week, he gives the people a good, quality show. Teddy says that that will never change. Now, Teddy has some business to tend to. First, Teddy says that starting next week, there will be an eight-man elimination tournament to decide who will be the number one contender for the Cruiserweight title. Teddy says that instead of a single elimination tournament, each participant will get two chances. That means it is two losses, and you are out. Teddy says that since SummerSlam is a month and a half away, he will give the fans great Cruiserweight contests. Fans pop for this and Teddy smiles. Cole and Tazz are excited as well.

"Can You Dig It........Sucka?" hits and Booker T comes out to some tremendous heat. He gets in the ring and wants to know why Teddy is kissing Eddie's ass? Teddy doesn't like Booker's tone, and he says he was getting somewhere before Booker interrupted. Teddy says that Eddie will meet Booker T for the WWE Championship in two weeks. Booker likes that and points at Eddie and says that the title will be his. Eddie gets a mic and tells Teddy that he knows that Teddy does not respect him. He knows that Teddy could care less about all the hard work and sacrifice that Eddie has endured to be the WWE Champion. Eddie says it is fine with him defending his title against Booker, because Eddie knows that the result will be the same. Eddie will kick Booker's ass. Booker looks to go after Eddie, but Teddy stops him. Teddy tells Eddie and Booker that he will not allow them to jeopardize his main event in two weeks. Teddy tells both men that next week, they have the night off. Teddy warns both men that they do not want to cross him. Booker backs off and tells Eddie that he will see him in two weeks. Eddie says that he sure will and holds the title up, saying that Booker will have to kill him to get it off of Eddie.
