Solid Snake ( Metal Gear) : Without a doubt this guy has to be the ultimate bad ass, the stuff he's been through is unimaginable and fighting on even though his body was deteriorating ... Is nothing short of bad ass! lol. And he's probably the only game character with enough balls to stick a gun in his mouth and try to shoot himself...take that Master Chef!








Kratos (God of War) : Ripping heads, taking down trolls, kicking ass and taking names... Kratos is one guy you dont want to cross... He's literally taking the fight to the gods and he's gonna make sure no one gets out alive. Nothing is more satisfying than picking up the controller and taking down masses of enemies as Kratos.


Honorable mentions goes to:

I was gonna beat you if you didnt say Kratos. How about Marcus Fenix? He's pretty badass.

Hmm Fenix yeah, I undestand why some would think he is..but... I think he tries too hard to be honest lol. I'll go on a limb to say that even Mario is more bad ass than him.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE the Gears series, but Marcus isnt a really likeable main character, hes too bland, I cant take him seriously ( who didnt laugh when he said ''Its a giant worrm''. I actually wish Epic would spend some time to flesh him out more, he really does have a lot of potential to be MS's posterboy like Masterchief. His team mates are lot more interesting for me.

Definitely Snake, Fisher, Kratos, Fenix... What about Sheperd? What you choose to do can make the guy seem like a badass.

The vault dweller as well, same deal as Sheperd, specially with the morality slider.

Alex Mercer anyone? Causing a plague to befall Manhattan then killing everyone for it?

Chris Redfield. He survived over a decade of zombies.

Agent 47. Hitman that'll do whatever it takes to kill you.

Max Payne. Framed cop bent on revenge.

Dante. He's half demon.

Duke Nukem. Isnt he sposed to personify being a badass?!

Then theres big boss. The reason for Solid Snake. Pretty much enough said.

Shepard yeah definately, I msut admit though, in my two playthroughs of Mass Effect... I played as a boyscout, unless it benefited me in some way, but I was a goody goody and apparently, I missed out some great cut scenes where Shepard was truly a bad ass with the choices you made.

TIme to hunt down Reaper and borrow his Mass Effect again :D

You could always Youtube them... There are so many secret cut scenes and ending cut scenes from various games.

How about the guy in Gears who comes out. He is the locust and in one of the cut scenes. I think he grabs Kim by the head and stabs him straight through the stomach Pretty sick. I'll find a GIF of it in a few.

Wario: Gotta be a badass to be a bad guy mobbing around in purple and yellow

Nemisis: umm...rocket launcher?

Sepheroth: even if i spelled that wrong NO ONE is more badass then the one winged angel from Final Fantasy. Even if your not a FF player.

Rachet: Rachet and Clank. Not even a fan but a meercat in armor has to be a badass.

Earth Worm Mother Fucking Jim: Try to argue against it. Dare you.

Silent Hill: The town. Its more of a charicter (and a badass) then anything else in any of those games.

Issace Clarke: Dead Space. Dude is a fucking engineer and he cuts shit up and just gets more badass along the gooey path!

I still think Dr Steinman, Sander Cohen and Andrew Ryan from BioShock are pretty much some of the best fucking video game characters to ever exist.

Andrew Ryan was especially awesome.

Reminds of Raiden from MGS actually. Every single scene he was in for MGS4 was nothing short of rediculous.

He took on an army of Frogs with no arms and by holding a samurai sword in his damn mouth

No what was ridiculous was in that same scene...the frogs politely let Snake and Raiden finish their loooong convo before getting to battle...that my friend is beyond rediculous.

What Snake does just after it is also beyond belief, but that's Kojima for you. He's awesome like that.
