live from Richmond, Virginia

The Raw music video rolls and the pyro is unleashed marking the beginning of another night of Raw. King and JR welcome us Virginia. JR says that last weeks show was off the charts and the action was thick 'n' thin. This week promises to be just as exciting because we may see a new IC champion crowned and we will discover just who goes to Vengeance to meet the tag team champions. King agree's with JR but mentions the huge impact Christian made last week. JR is sure that Chris Jericho will have something to say Christian after he was robbed of victory last week. JR then hypes his interview with Bret Hart that will air later tonight. All that to come and a whole lot more but first...............

Al Snow is headed to the entrance area with Chris Cage and John Toland of Adrenaline. The Snowman looks pumped up for tonights action. Cage pats Al on the back and wishes him luck. Toland says they'll be watching in the back.

Al Snow vs Randy Orton(Champion) w/Ric Flair
They start the match off with a tie up and of course Snow uses his experience to gain the advantage, taking Orton down. A few quick falls for Al Snow with a school boy and an Inside Cradle. Orton picks it up a bit with some right hands. He takes Al around the ring battering him with big fists. Snow responds a Pumphandle Back Suplex and then an Exploder Suplex for a near fall. He hits three Neckbreakers in a row before locking on the rear chinlock for the submission. Snow fights up and gets some time to recover with a Back Suplex. Al goes up top and connects with a Crossbody for a nearfall. Orton comes back into the match with a forearm smash but then runs straight into a Sitout Spinebuster for a close close nearfall! Al tries for the Snowplow but Orton floats over and tries for the RKO. Snow pushes him off and connects with a Superkick for another nearfall. Snowplow connects finally but Flair puts Ortons foot on the bottom rope. Snow goes to the outside and chases Flair into the ring but Orton got enough time to recover. He knee's Snow to the gut and connects with an RKO! Randy makes the cover and manages to retain his title.

Orton raises his title after a hard fought victory....... The fires of hell erupt and Kane comes out to the ring! Randy doesnt know what to think as Kane slides into the ring....... The Man Beasts music hits and Rhyno comes out to a tremendous pop from the Richmond crowd. He gets into the ring and takes the stick. Rhyno says last week was the start of something. It was the start of the reawakening of the beast with in him. Alot of people didnt know this but for a long time Rhyno says he wasnt himself, he didnt have that same anger, desire and hunger he once had. But last week when he was screwed for the second week running he felt that burning desire and that hunger. He says Matt Hardy woke the Beast and now the Beast has its eyes set on him. 'Oh Yeah!' here comes the Sensai of Mattitude, Matt Hardy Version 1 with Stacy Kiebler. Matt is still bandaged up after last weeks attack. He gets into the ring and goes up close to Rhyno. Matt says that he didnt start anything. He says that Rhyno was the one that Gored him two weeks ago on Raw. You get what you sow. Rhyno asks Matt if he liked the feeling of being Gored because...... he may get that feeling again. Hardy laughs and says Rhyno caught him unawares then just like he did last week when he attacked Matt in the parking lot. Hardy says that he isnt going to let Rhyno get away with that. Rhyno smirks and tells Hardy that he can bring it right now. Matt throws his mic away and goes toe to toe with Rhyno. Finally Matt looks away and puts up his hands and backs down. Sean O'Haire slides into the ring behind Rhyno armed with a steel chair..... He cracks it across the Man Beasts back! Rhyno doesnt go down but Matt hooks him up quickly and connects with the Twist of Fate. Stacy applauds on the outside as Matt and O'Haire lay a beating down on Rhyno. Hardy rolls to the outside and leaves with his number one MFer, Stacy. O'Haire stays in the ring and stares down at the broken body of Rhyno.

Flair is in the corridor, still hurting it seems after Kanes Chokeslam. Edge approaches Flair and asks if they can talk. Naitch asks if its about Edges match with Kane later but Edge says it isnt, its about Trips. Edge says that last week H said that he would be leaving the Elimination Chamber with the WorldHeavyweight title. Flair says yeah. Well Edge isnt going in there to be Triple H's lapdog. He says that he didnt join Evolution to play second string, he joined so that he could win that title. Flair tells Edge that he understands that. Edge interupts and says he just wants Flair to know that if it comes down to it, he will not hesitate to beat Triple H. Flair doesnt respond and Edge leaves.

***

The Grish is in the back with Coach and the World Tag Team Champions, the Black Panthers. He asks how they feel about tonights number one contender match. The Coach laughs and says his men arent worried in the slightest about the three teams in that match. He says they have proven before that they can beat those chumps, it doesnt matter who they are. At Vengeance Coach is garunteeing a victory.

***

2nd Match
Number One Contender/Three Corner Tag Match
Shane Helms & Billy Kiddman vs La Resistance vs Val Venis & Steven Richards
The three teams start with a little trash talking until Kiddman and Venis are the only two left in the ring. They tie up and Val uses his superior strength and technique to get in control. Venis brings Richards in and he continues the assault with a double Underhook Suplex and then a Sleeper Hold. Kiddman fights up after a while but Richards does a quick readjustment and plants him with a DDT. Rob Conway gets the blind tag and starts to pound down on Kiddman. He flips off Helms and goes back to work on Billy....... The Black Panthers music hits and out walks Mark Henry and Rodney Mack accompanied by Coach who is carrying the titles. The three teams turn their attention to the tag team champions. Mack and Henry slide into the ring and no one knows what to do. Conway pushes Kiddman at them and Billy nearly gets his head taken off with a clothesline. Helms comes in but Henry boots him down. A-Train, Scott Steiner and Test come tearing out to the ring. They slide in but the Panthers slide out. A-Train grabs the mic and he screams that they want the Panthers and Coach. 'Im Back' and out walks Eric Bischoff. The Bisch asks Coach what they hell he and the Panthers are doing. He fixed this match because it was going to be damn good but it seems Coach isnt interested in Raws quality. Bisch is disppointed. So At Vengeance the Black Panthers most defend their titles against La Resistance, Shane Helms & Billy Kiddman and the team of Val Venis & Steven Richards. Also next week there will be a Six Man Tag Team Match. A-Train, Scott Steiner and Test versus the Black Panthers..... and Coach. Coach is in shock. Bischoff smiles before making his exit.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1........... Pyro erupts and Chris Jericho comes to a massive response. The Highlight Reel is set up and the King of the World is headed down to the ring to host it. Jericho says last week he was in the main event and he had been kicking ass. Not only that but he had the match won. The Jeritron shows Jericho turning Triple H into the Walls and it shows the Game tapping out. Back live and Jericho says the special referee never called for the bell and infact cost him and Chris Beniot the match up. So his guest this week is that same old referee....... Christian! The Peeps Champion comes out minus Trish Stratus. Jericho smiles and asks which street corner is Trish working at tonight? Christian tells Jericho to cut the crap. He says that Y2J isnt worried about Trish Stratus, he is worried about Christian and what he will be doing inside the Elimination Chamber. Jericho says he isnt worried about Christian at Vengeance. He is worried about the idea's Christian will get in the showers after Vengeance. Christian doesnt find this amusing. He would like to remind Jericho about what happened the last time they squared off. Y2J remembers that Christian beat him but only after Evolution gave him hand. Jericho says that withotu any help, Christian would have been tapping out to the Walls of Jericho. Christian asks if Jericho would like to prove that tonight, one on one........ 'Time to Play the Game' Triple H makes his way down to the ring, after avoiding Kanes wrath. Trips steps between the ropes and sizes up the situation. He says that last week he had to break up Chris Jericho and Chris Beniot and now he has to stop Jericho and Christian. Triple H tells Y2J that he must have forgotten about the Game. He asks why Jericho would bother to bring Christian out here when everyone knows Christian doesnt have it. Christian asks the Game how his head feels after last week. Trips glares at Christian before telling to run along and let the big boys talk. Christian begins to laugh. The Game wants to know whats so funny. Well Christian just remembered that Triple H is part of Evolution. Trips says he leads Evolution. Christian says that Evolution is the past, the present and the future well.... Triple H is the past! Trips and Christian step up to one another. Jericho looks at his mic then at the two men. He cracks the mic across the side of Trips face and then smashes into Christians. Y2J drops it and starts to pound both men. Triple H bails and Jericho is left with Christian. He clotheslines Christian over the top then grabs the mic. He wants both Triple H and Christian to know that Raw Is Jericho! 'Im Back' and for the second time tonight here comes Eric Bischoff. The Bisch wants everyone to stop. He says this iisnt Smackdown!. This is Raw and on Raw Eric Bischoff rules supreme. He isnt Teddy Long, he doesnt have referee's questioning his authority and he doesnt have wrestlers disrespecting him. He doesnt want Raw to go down to the level of Teddy Longs Smackdown!. So Chris Jericho, Triple H and Christian can solve their problems tonight in a Triple Threat match. Bischoff wants to see a great match to showcase Raw. 'Im Back' hits again and the Bisch heads backstage.

***

Matt Hardy is in the back heading down the corridor with Stacy. Rhyno comes from behind with a forearm across the back of Matts head. The Man Beast mounts Hardy and just like last week he begins to pummell him. He brings Matt to his feet and shoves him up against the wall. GORE!!!! through the wall! Rhyno gets off Hardy and breaths in and out heavily. He gets in Stacy's face. He tell her that when Matt comes round tell him that Rhyno will meet him at Vengeance.

***

The Bisch heads into his office where Johnny Nitro has just put down the phone. He tells Bisch that he was just talking Hefner and he wants Torrie Wilson for another shoot. Bisch asks whats the money like. Nitro smiles and says that this deal alone will let them pay of Torrie's salary for the year and more, alot more. Bischoff smiles and says that no one can say he isnt a good business man.

***

Kane turns into a Spear and Edge starts to lay into Kane. He rolls Kane into the ring and connects with a missile dropkick, crossbody block and a spinning Neckbreaker for two counts. Kane responds, catching Edge with a huge Sidewalk Slam. Kane more or less beats Edge up for the next few minutes. He connects with the Snake Eyes and then a Okalahoma Slam for a nearfall. Hangman Chokehold but Edge slips off and hits the Edge-o-Matic for a nearfall. Kane goes for a Spear but Kane meets him with a Big Boot. He asks them if they feel privilaged to see the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time, the crowd dont it seems. Orton says that week in week out he has proven that he is the best. Tommy Dreamer and Al Snow couldnt stop him and neither will his opponent next week. He says that he will be going to Vengeance as the champion where he will kick Tajiri's ass and leave as the champion. Tajiri's music hits and the Japanese Buzzsaw comes out to a pop. He gets into the ring and looks Orton over. Randy asks if Tajiri wants something. Tajiri looks at the title. Orton looks down at his title then hold it up infront of Tajiri he says that is the closest Tajiri will ever get to his title. Tajiri shakes his head slowly. He suddenly sprays Poison Mist into the eyes of Randy Orton! Tajiri connects with the Buzzsaw kick to the side of the head. Batista comes running out. He slides in and blocks a kick of Tajiri before planting the Buzzsaw with a big clothesline. Shelton Benjamin runs to the ring in street clothes and a chair. Grish is in the back with Shawn Michaels and Garrison Cade who are all set for their match tonight. Todd asks if HBK feels that the odds are stacked against him. Michaels says it doesnt matter who Bischoff throws at him. Either way he is going to be leaving with the win. He says at Bad Blood he and Garrison left with their hands held high. Tonight will be no exception. Grish asks if he is worried about Lance Storm. Michaels says he is a little worried, after all Lance is a great compeditor but he doent come close to reivaling the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. HBK leaves with Cade.

Chris Beniots music hits and the crowd go ape. The WorldHeavyweight champion walks to the ring. He steps between the ropes and gets on the stick. Beniot says that the last two weeks have just been a rollercoaster. Ever since Eric Bischoff announced the Elimination Chamber Raw has been ruled by chaos. The Wolverine has noticed that all his opponents have garunteed victory but he says they dont stand a chance. Beniot is going to do all he can to keep this title. He says he would die for this title and thats why he is going to leave Vengeance as the WorldHeavyweight champion. He says that he is aware of just how good his opponents are but he says they arent willing to die for it. Kanes fire goes off once again and the Big Red Monster walks out with a mic in hand. As he walks to the ring he talks. Kane asks why Beniot would bother waiting to die at Vengeance when Kane will more then willingly kill him tonight. Kane gets into the ring and the two men immediately start exchanging blows. Kane grabs Beniot in the goozle and goes for the Chokeslam but the Wolverine reverses it into a Crossface. Kane refuses to tap as Beniot leans back. A few officals run out to break it up as Kane begins to force his way up to his feet. Sidewalk Slam breaks the Crossface. Kane brings Beniot up and tosses him over the top rope. The referees attempt to hold Kane back but he shoves them aside with ease and goes outside. Beniot stands up...... Chokeslam on the outside! Kane grabs a steel chair and starts to hammer Beniot on the ground with the chair. He throws it down and brings Beniot to his feet. Tombstone Piledriver onto the steel chair! Chokeslam to Y2J! Referee's get into the ring and roll Jericho out before Kane can do anymore damage.

Michaels drops to his knees on the ramp and his pyro goes off. He gets into the ring and does his muscle taunt, Kane watches with hatred. HBK turns toward Kane but is met with a Big Boot. Kane gets HBK up and whips him into the corner where he starts to beat on him. Garrison Cade sprints out, no entrance music. Kane turns and meets Cade with a big boot. He grabs Garrison in the goozle but tosses him over the top rope. Kane turns and Michaels launches himself at him for the Sweet Chin Music..... Kane blocks it before spinning HBK around and planting him with a clothesline. Kane gets out of the ring and grabs the steel chair he used on Beniot before sliding back in. HBK stands but gets blasted with the chair, busting him open. Kane throws the chair down and brings Michaels to his feet again. Chokeslam onto the steel chair! Referee's and EMTs run out again and slide into the ring. Kane heads up the ramp when Lance Storms music hits and he comes out with Regal and Dinsmore. They step aside as Kane leaves. Live via satelite JR is now interviewing Bret Hart from his home. JR thanks Bret for bring with us and says it has been a few weeks since the people last saw Bret on Raw. Infact the last time they saw him was at Bad Blood. The Hittman says that he has been unable to return to Raw because of one man, Triple H. JR asks Bret if he knows why Triple H is after targeting him. Bret says he doesnt know. All he knows is that Vince McMahon doesnt want him there and that Triple H is the man Vince is using to carry out his ditry work. JR asks if Bret see's himself returning to the WWE in the forseeable future. The Hitman doubts it. He says his body isnt up to the punishment. Everytime he comes to Raw Triple H or someone else has attacked him. Bret says he cant take a chance with his health. One wrong move could incapacitate him for life or even kill him. Bret says he has to think of his family and his health. If it werent for the stroke Bret says that he would be there right now doing what he does best, what he loves. 'Time to Play the Game.' Triple H comes out in his wrestling gear. He looks at the titantron and smiles at the image of Bret Hart. Trips goes to the ring to address Hart. He tells Chris Jericho and Christian to take note, anyone he plays with the game stays home frightened for their life. Trips says Bret can bull**** about his family all he wants but Bret knows and Triple H knows that he is scared. Bret says he doesnt care what Triple H thinks or doesnt think. He wont step into that ring or the WWE again. He says he would have liked to have been by Chris Beniots side but he cant risk that. Triple H responds by saying that Chris Beniot is on his way to the hospital. He says at least Bret has brains. Trips says that now he is the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be because he is the Game! JR apologies to Bret but the Hitman says its okay. Trips tells Ross to shut up. He tells the TV productions truck to cut Bret off. Hart goes to respond but the satelite feed is cut off.

Another solid show PK.

Hit:

1. Kane: Great stuff for Kane tonight. Love how he just is wreaking havoc on Raw. Like I've said, this is how Kane should really be used.

2. Christian: you got him over as a main eventer tonight.

3. HighLite Reel: loved how HHH kept putting down Christian, and then Christian gets the pinfall on Hunter in the main event.

4. Coach & The Black Panthers: love this pairing as it adds more heel cred to the tag team champs.

5. Eric Bischoff and his comments towards Smackdown were on again. Love the Torrie/Playboy shoot thing. Nice touch.

6. Main Event: Solid main event with a good ending, having Christian pin HHH. This gives Christian more cred going into the EC.

7. Hardy/Rhyno: good stuff here. This is turning into a nice rivalry.

Miss:

1. HBK/Cade vs. Regal/Dinsmore/Storm: my problem here is how HBK just came back, amazingly. I like that Kane destroyed HBK before the match. Just didn't care for how HBK came back. Anyways, love the fact that we will see Storm vs HBK at Vengeance.

2. Tag Match: just didn't flow well, but you saved it by having the Black Panthers come out and cause the no contest. Nice touch having Train, Steiner and Test come out to demand a match next week.

3. Tajiri/Orton: just wasn't feeling it, and saw the myst coming. I like this matchup, but I just am not getting into it.

Good show. I'll give it a 8/10. :winkok:

This week I just wanted to have Kane going ape on everyone. I didnt want Kane to be confined to feuding with everyone else in the EC but wanted him all over Raw.

I am really enjoying this thing with Christian. He is actually a very is character to write for and Im going to continue to get him over. Its good to see that its working.

Highlight Reel was easy because of the three guys I had in there. Jericho, Triple H and Christian are all pretty easy to write with and so you can get a flow going.

Coach and the Panthers just seemed so natural. Mack and Henry arent masters of the mic and so they need someone like Coach to get them over in that department.

I love what we are doing with Bisch/Long feud. Its always good for one segment in a show.

Main event was easy because of the three men in there.

Hardy and Rhyno has gone really well. I think, not sure, but I think both men are getting over in this feud. Mattitude is back and Rhyno is getting that vicous streak that I think the WWE keep chipping away at. I have also kept Rhyno and O'Haire feud ticking over.

The Misses:

I had a feeling that HBK's recovery maybe a bad idea and it was. NO excuses there.

The tag match was there so that I could set up the 4 way at the PPV. I wanted it to seem like it was about to get going until the Panthers came out.

Tajiri is so hard to write for. Really you can only get Tajiri over through matches because he cant talk. Im reading the segment now and you are right, you can see the Mist a mile off. Still I got Benjamin on TV as well as Rhyno.

Thanks for the feedback and the mark again Chazz. Next week is the last week before Vengeance and so there will be alot of action.

OK Hit and Miss from me if I miss segments out just presume they were hits becuase as hits I don't think they need more said on them uinless they are the ones i have specified below.

Hits:
- Adrenaline returns, I was starting to forget about the stable and Toland and Cage so it's good to see them back again even if it was just to support Al Snow.
-Hardy/Rhyno, is building up very well, nice to and fro on the show and nice spot with the gore through the wall was a very nice touch and a nice way to get Rhyno "extreme" again.
- Continuation of the Panthers/Team Coach feud, good to see it isn't just dropped and look forward to the match next week.
- Highlight Reel, really was good this week, The three would work really well together in real life and there was some good tension built.
-Christian building, I was slightly worried about this as you know but he is getting a lot of time for build up and am starting to come round, hopefully by next week I will be 100% behind the idea.
- Main Event, very well scripted again enforced Christians prominance.

Misses
- Kane Overload, I do think we saw a bit too much of him this week when others in the EC need to be built a little better
- Benoits destruction, As a champ he needed more time to get ready for the EC than simply being destroyed by Kane, unless you want him to be the super underdog then it kind of worked but I would rather it be that the EC has a feeling anyone could come out with the belt. As it stands Christian and Kane are the favourites whilst Benoit and Edge are being neglected slightly.
- Kane vs Edge, the match itself was a little short for my liking, as I have said Edge needs more building so would have been nice to see him put up more of a fight.
- Orton/Tajiri - not feeling the feud and Mist was very obvious, Tajiri needs to be built better next week because he doesn't fit in with Ortons attitude, why would Orton be wasting his time on Tajiri? He needs to be more arrogant and then Tajiri needs to give him more of a reason to take him seriously.
-HBK's recovery, you have covered so no need to go further into it

Start to finsih it was a fairly solid show, think there needs to be a lot of work done next week to tie up feuds through segments but Vengeance is being built a lot better than the real Raw. 7.5/10

Thanks 12 for the feedback and now I have alot to think about.

Orton has to worry about Tajiri because Tajiri is the number one contender. It is hard to write for this feud and all I can hope for is that the match at Vengeance will do what is needed to get it over. But like I said, that segment let me get Benjamin and Batista on TV.

I have two different views on Kane. Dont know what to do. It is interesting that you can only see Kane and Christian coming out of the EC with the belt. I was kind of hoping that Chris Jericho would have been in your mind as well because really he is one of the main components to my Raw.

I was hoping that the small segment with Edge talking to Flair could get him into your minds in a big way. I'll have to think of something for next week.
