Lashley Dominates!

Bobby Lashley defeated Mike Cook in 24 seconds via submission at last night's MFC 21 event. While Cook didn't have any major wins on his record, he has competed against WWE
Tough Enough 4 winner Daniel Puder.

Cook incensed Lashley by entering the cage in a lucha libre mask.

"I'm here for business," Lashley said. "I'm here and everyone wants to and tries to make fun of the wrestling thing. I'm real. If they want to play around, I'll knock them out or choke them out. And that's what I did. I choked him out and made him pay. Now he can go put the mask back on and have fun with himself."

The former WWE Superstar remains undefeated with a 3-0 record in MMA. He is slated to face Bob Sapp next month.

Video doesn't show Cook in the Lucha Mask but the cocky little shit deserved to get owned that quickly. I used to not like Lashley in WWE, but he is growing on me.

I was watching this show on HDNET last night. I had to go to work before he fought though. I think if they just kinda keep slowly building him to bigger and better fighters, he will do well. Bob Sapp is a big dude who has been fighting for a long time now, but he still gasses out. Plus I dont think he has much of a ground game and Bobby is of course a wrestler at heart. Expect to see that fight go to the ground fast (I think if bobby tries to stand he might get knocked out by the power of Sapp) and see if Bobby can mandle (hehe man handle, mandle) him on the ground for a good beating or submission.

I think every video I see of Lashley in MMA the commentators make stupid remarks about wrestling. I mean in his debut Lashley cut a guy open with a series of punches to the head and the commentators refused to give him credit and insisted on talking about him using steel chairs and stating with much sarcasm "Cause that's entertaining". What fucking idiots.

Lashley used his wrestling background to win. Whether that's good or bad in the long run it can benefit him. But if he uses it every match he might get found out and will be easier to beat.
