I loved it since the beginning. It started out slow (still loved it), but it just got better and better.

The character development is great and I love Anna Paquin in it (Tara is really hot for some reason too).

Lafayette is fucking hilarious, Sam started out bad but got cool (no spoiler), and I just wanted to give Eddie a stapler. LOL.

Can't wait for Season 2 (as long as it won't be competing with Weeds on Sundays)

Yeah, I got the entire season off my cousin so I could watch it at a leisurely pace. The first episode was kinda interesting, but yeah, the season definately started out quite slow but still kept me interested to make me watch it.

Agreed about Lafayette, he is gold, my favorite character. Along with Rene...ARGH :@.

The finale got me really annoyed though, they completely shit all over the vampire myths and stereotypes with what Bill did.

But yeah, I'm dying for season 2 to come out. I'll probably wait untill the season is over so I could watch it in one go. Haha, funny you mention Weeds. I watched the 3 seasons of Weeds and the first season of True Blood in a 3 week period lol.

It's not going to be on over here for a while: it'll be on FX in July, and Channel 4 afterwards (the same arrangment ITV have for Dexter). So we'll be two seasons behind the US, in other words, so I'd be wise to stay off the IMDb boards...

I caught the first episode on my flight to Tokyo. Interesting, although I presume it gets better - some parts did seem to drag a bit, but then again so did the middle part of the first season of Six Feet Under.
