View Full Version : What's the WWE thinking? (contains spoilers)

I am just shocked right now. JBL the champ? That is just not a good way to go with Smackdown. Smackdown was already not doing good but I think JBL as the champ will kill it. JBL doesn't even deserve the title after what he did in Germany. He should have been fired for that but no they give him the title. Puzzles me. But one way I see it as a good thing is getting the pressure of off Eddie. Because we all know he wasn't doing to good handling all the pressure of being the champ. But they should have had him drop the strap to someone who actually deserves it.

I'm also shocked that The Undertaker match was the main event. But also now that I think of it, it wouldn't have been too good to have Paul burried in cement and then go to the title match. The match was nothing special either but the lightening effect was pretty cool. I don't like how they killed off Paul's character though. He wasn't even back with the WWE for really that long considering how long Undertaker and Paul had been together in the past. I do like that Undertaker is a heel now and he is (I think) with Heyman and The Dudley's.

The two things that I mentioned above though just shocked me and made me ask what the WWE were thinking? Giving the title to just a plain ass and killing off Paul's character.

It doesn't puzzle me at all. Something deep down inside me tells me that Bradshaw convinced Vince to give him the title either to help Vince stick it to the Internet fans OR and this is the one I'm going with, Bradshaw thinks this is the thing that will be like him saying "f-you" to every single internet fan.

Don't think that's too petty of a thing for them to do, because wrestlers and Vince have taken shots at the internet fans for a long time now. I wouldn't put it past them. Because after all that's happened recently, they can't honestly think this is the right thing to do. If they do, Vince is obviously getting too old for this.

Why are the Dudley Boyz even the tag champs? The WWE just showed that they could give two ****s about that division. The Dudley's were finally becoming watchable again and then this the push killer takes all of their steam. A man who was once my favorite WWE superstar of all time I now see as nothing but a selfish washed up shell of his former self. Taker should be putting guys over. First Kane, then Booker, and now the Dudley's. At the rate they're going every superstar on the SD roster will end up on Velocity and SD will be the JBL and Undertaker show.

You forgot John Cena two weeks in a row. Their only excuse for having John beat him was because of the angle he was involved in.

Who won all the matches?

Yeah I did forget Cena. Honestly people talk about HHH? I wouldn't be sad if the Undertaker retired on Thursday. A hell of a lot of guys would actually have a chance of keeping their credibility. Just when SD was starting to look like it was getting good last week. I am now going to consider Cena the WWE Champion because the WWE title right now is about as credible as the Hardcore Championship. Geez, I said a few weeks back that I would quit watching SD if JBL wins the belt and I just might. I'll give it a chance Thursday but it doesn't look good. If this is to get at the net fans then how petty can the WWE get? Well this is the WWE I'm talking about so I am guessing very petty.

Disregard my post from a few minutes ago.

Does the WWE even care what we think. I hope that JBL is just a transitional champion. If he stays champ past SummerSlam, I don't know what I'll do.

I think Rob Van Dam should win the title at SS, what do you guys think?

Seeing as how the wrestlers have spent more time over the past couple of years taking shots at the Internet fans compared to the amount of time heels have spent bashing the fans at the arenas they are at, I'd say they value what we say a lot. If not, they sure don't ignore us. Even though Internet fans are in the majority in terms of number, the power of the Internet fans exceeds those of the ones who attend the shows, because the fans can talk to each other or over the phone. We can talk to thousands of people every minute while online.

As for what Unknown said about not watching anymore, I've noticed that I used to be the hardcore type fan who wouldn't miss it for the world, but now I've turned into the kind of fan who tunes in until he gets bored of it and then I do something else for a while. If I remember to turn it back, I watch as much as I can, but usually once I turn the channel that first time, I don't turn it back.

And I only watch RAW when I watch SD, so if SD starts making me tune out, then I won't be watching much wrestling at all.
