Ok, so I saw and enjoyed the Wolverine movie and I know they're making a Magneto one, but who else would you like to see an Origins movie for? I'm including some people in the poll who actually have pretty boring back stories according to the comics, just because they could change them up and include other people to make them more interesting (i.e. Cyclops).
I'd be interested in seeing Mystique & Xavier... Mystiques could include her history with Nightcrawler & Rogue (but I think Rogues already established Movie history makes it impossible to use her Comic history). Xaviers could include Magneto & Juggernaut and many more. A Phoenix movie could be pretty cool, I'm not a fan of Jean Grey really, but focus on the Phoenix could make it interesting, not sure what they could do though as her interaction with it is established in the X-Trilogy.
Mostly I'd like to see Gambit, Deadpool & Emma Frost because their stories are hardly touched by Wolverine movie and could explain where they are during the X-Men trilogy.

Nightcrawler definately, his role in X2 makes him perfect for an Origins film. Although, I doubt Alan Cumming would come back to reprise the role because he hated the hours the procedure of applying the make-up took, although I'm sure they'll find a way around that with the advancement of technology and shit these days.
Gambit! Gambit! ... I'd go see this twice in the cinema if they do it right.
Deadpool would be pretty cool, Reynolds got the character spot on, would be interesting how they portray deadpool breaking the fourth wall on the big screen though.
Those are the characters, that I'd actually want to see an X-men Origins film for, as for the rest, they dont really interest me so much as having their own ''Origins'' film, I just prefer seeing them in an ''X-men'' film, you know, with everyone in it.

Deadpool is the way go, he always deserved his own canon and more of the spotlight, he was funny and always broke the fourth wall. Plus Reynolds is already somewhat of a leading man.

From IGN:
Deadpool Movie Announced
The two Wolverine Easter eggs trigger two future movies.

UK, May 6, 2009 - Fox today announced another X-Men Origins spin-off, this time based on one of the 'Easter egg' endings that appear at the end of the Wolverine (http://stars.ign.com/objects/923/923833.html) movie.
Depending on which cut of the movie you saw in cinemas, there was both Wolverine (http://movies.ign.com/objects/034/034461.html) and Deadpool (http://movies.ign.com/objects/040/040152.html) postscripts, spoiler-filled descriptions of which can be found here (http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/979/979891p1.html).
And having donned our best investigative journalist hats, IGN was exclusively told this by a source close to Fox about the oft-rumoured feature. "We are developing a spinoff with Deadpool (http://stars.ign.com/objects/923/923963.html). It is one of the two different "Easter egg" scenes after the credits of Wolverine and hints at two different movies that are coming from them.
As expected, the Deadpool sequel has been greenlit.
"One is the Japan backstory which was announced earlier (http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/979/979654p1.html), the other is about Deadpool. The film, which would be produced by Lauren Shuler Donner and Marvel, has Ryan Reynolds (http://stars.ign.com/objects/917/917185.html) attached and would be a complete exploration of this unique character - his origins, his emergence as the 'Merc with the Mouth', etc."
The source went on to add that Fox is currently looking for writers for both projects.
Elsewhere, The Hollywood Reporter claims that the movie will go "back to the roots of the character known for his slapstick tone and propensity to break the fourth wall."
So do you want to see a Deadpool spin-off? And if so would you like to see it venture into more humorous territory? Feel free to sound-off in the comments below.

Just saw on CNN that a Wolverine follow up is in the works because Origins made something like $158 Million US in less than a damn week!
Other than that Deadpool or Gambit should be the next movies after Magneto. Ryan Reynolds was excellent in the film.

I'm a HUGE Ryan Reynolds fan and I can't wait to see Wolverine when I get some money to see his portrayal of Deadpool is like. X-Men Origins: Deadpool is going to be awesome. Reynolds like said above is a leading man and he has what it takes to make the Deadpool character what it should be!
I also voted for Gambit because well Gambit is one of my favorite characters...

I am going to mark so damn hard when I see this in theaters. I love Deadpool.

Outta that list, there are only 2 that would be interesting.
Deadpool and Professor X.
I really want a Magneto (which is as good as confirmed), X-Men (actual X-Men Origins, it would be cool if it was set in the 60s), and maybe Nightcrawler and Gambit.

It'll be interesting to see how they handle Lady Deathstrike in the next Wolverine movie, she's a major part of his Japan story but when they thought in the movies it was like she was just some random mutant. I guess I can overlook that though in favour of them telling it properly now.

Deadpool and Gambit is the way to go.
Wolverine? Let it go. We've had our fill with Logan, let's move on to the other X-Men and reserve Wolverine for cameos and/or X-Men films.
And there's gonna be a Deadpool film!? Awesome! Hell, I might even go see it in the cinema instead of downloading an illegal unfinished copy this time.

Yeah i guess it is confirmed (by Reuters) that there will infact be a Deadpool movie (soon).
I kinda find it weird that Marvel went with Reynolds (I actually love him in the role), but he played Hannibal King in Blade 3 and that is also a Marvel movie. Usually they don't overlap actors. Oh well. It better be good (not like Electra or Daredevil.)
Oh yeah. Wolverine is CONFIRMED now to be getting a sequel. Please change writers (even though Wolverine was pretty decent).

Agreed. I'm not actually a Wolverine fan... I just mean that if they're gonna do it I hope they do it right/well.

Yeah, I would understand all these Wolverine spin offs if he didn't play that huge a part in the X-Men Trilogy, but he was the main focus in those movies as well. I really wished they would've used Cyclops better in those movies. I don't think an origin movie is really worth it now for him because of how poorly he was handled.

I'm not saying that starting this new series off with him was a bad idea, but I think if it goes on any further with him as the main character (which it apparantly is), then I'd be pretty damn bored by the time the first teaser comes out.
That and we already know everything there is to know about Wolverine. I really don't see what the hell they could possibly do next with him.

Well from what I've read, the whole Japanese part of Wolverines life is a big part of his character, so theres probably tons of material they could work with him.

It's official: The mutants are taking over Hollywood. And we're not talking about the freaks running the studios.
Following the monster weekend for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and a day after announcing that a Hugh Jackman-powered sequel is in the works, 20th Century Fox has confirmed to E! News that Jackman's costar Ryan Reynolds (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1800025139) will be given his own spinoff and potential franchise-launcher as the Marvel Comics antihero Deadpool.
The 32-year-old Canadian actor, otherwise known as Mr. Scarlett Johansson (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1800022348), will again star as Wade Wilson, a wisecracking, cancer-stricken mercenary who's cured of the disease after undergoing the same Weapon X genetic alteration as Wolverine.
But along with superhuman powers, enhanced strength and self-regenerating healing powers, the slightly unhinged Deadpool can absorb the abilities of dead and captured mutants.
Aside from Deadpool and the Wolverine sequel, Fox is also working on an X-Men spinoff focusing on Ian McKellen (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1800019000)'s villainous Magneto and another dubbed X-Men: First Class, which is being written by The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz.
Yay!
I must say though. I'm not tired of Wolverine in the slightest. There's a LOT of villains and story that hasn't even been touched on with him.
There's supposedly an X-Men: First Class movie in the works that focuses only on the very first X-Men: Iceman, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel. So you guys that like those X-Men should get a movie without the X-Men that made the team as popular as it is lol (Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Kitty Pryde, Gambit, Cable, etc.) There you go, problem solved.

I'm not too keen on the First Class one, seems a bit too cheesy and judging by the fact that its written by a writer from the OC...I'm a bit wary about the entire thing, but it will probably be a good popcorn flick.
Now I want X-men 4 to come out, the stupid cliff hanger of Magneto and Prof X has me wanting to see where they are going with it :@

X-Men: First Class will be sick.
I've always liked those first characters.
The Magneto move will also be INCREDIBLE. He's got some of the coolest origins of any of them and I'm totally stoked to see that. Push these movies out! I want a reason to go sit in a movie theatre! NOW!

I hope they take their time actually in order to get a better script and stuff and to hire a better CGI producing company because some of the effects in Wolverine Origins looked horrid.
How could they mess up the claws for fucks sake argh.

You may not be a fan of the type of show The OC is, but give the man some credit (assuming we're talking about Josh Schwartz here). The OC was a very well-written teen drama, and he has very much developed his action writing skills with Chuck, which is AMAZING. If anything his involvement is more reason for me to see it.

It could be really good "First Class" as a kinda Xavier origins and focusing on the start of the x-men.. Sounds like a cool idea to me!

Honestly, who the fuck is Deadpool? First time I heard of him was in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and all of a sudden he was the coolest comic book character sinced Mr. Sliced Bread himself.
