Avatars and profile pics

Hey guys.
Was wondering if the profile pics and avatars were post-dependent, or if you can request an avatar be added from your profile pic? BTW, site looks fn' awesome so far,***sucking up***

You can put a profile pic up right now if you wanted to, the profile pic does not go by post count.

Avatars you need 300 posts for a custom avatar there is no way of getting round that well unless you get 300 posts of course.

BTW this is the limit of what your profile pic can be 100x100 and 100,000 bytes.
