"In this week's observer it says they've lost nearly a half a million since opening up doors, which puts them in the red big. I always thought these guys were "breaking even on video sales" and now this comes out. Pretty wild that they were able to keep this big of a loss quiet for so long. That's big money to lose for an independent wrestling company."
I’m going to have to say that Booking Eddie Guerrero and Super Crazy on there first shows could Possibly have placed them in this position. Also I’m going to say that they book some of the biggest talent in North America ever show, who no doubt will come with a hefty booking fee. The only “Big” International Names that I can remember Ring of honour booking are
. Super Crazy
. Eddie Guerrero
. Ikuto
Oh yeah and the guy’s that they had booked on FB 03, Which was after all a AJPW Roster so I’d have expected Hefty prices on guys like Muto, Kaz etc. Yet wasn’t FB the show that set attendance with something like 1,600?! Wasn’t that part of a double shot week end also? Then there was the Muto/Kaz shoot that RF Conducted which you no was going to sell really well. So my guess is that weekend Ring of Honour actually made some money.
I also think that this may have something to do with the whole ROH/RF Split, Considering the fact that RoH was the main finance part for the promotion.
Thoughts?
