Today on ESPN's SportsCenter, Brock Lesnar said he regrets his move from college into professional wrestling. He said he wanted to be able to have money and not be poor, which is why he took the quick path to fame and riches, but in retrospect wishes he went right into trying out for the NFL. Yet another comment which while, surely sincere, won't exactly endear him to his colleagues if he returns to WWE some day.

ESPN said Lesnar had a "multi-million dollar contract with WWE," which is a fair representation of his contract, unlike many other media reports stating he had a $45 million contract.

Lesnar also denied using steroids, which Tony Dungy backed up (as if he'd have any way of truly knowing).

The segment also included brief comments from The Rock

Ok now i have changed my mind about wanting him to return. Screw him!!

There is no IF he returns, it's WHEN he returns. He will fail in football. They will not take him seriously. He is too much of a wuss to make it in football. If he whines over professional freaking wrestling, he'll cry, whine, moan, bellyache, and scream for his mommy whenever he is on the field for more than 7 or 8 minutes...which was the average of most of his matches.

He will not be a star and will instead be on the line. It's true that some stars can be on the line and not receivers or QBs, but let's face it...Lesnar? Pfft.

Yeah, I doubt he will cut it...he hasn't been playing football his whole life like most of the NFL players out there.

Even if he does make an NFL roster he'll be on the bench all season.

Well he has the LB or Defensive End size but he's slow for both positions, like all he will fail

Brock Lesnar might probably fail in the NFL, who knows he might shock the world. Anywho, even after all the comments he has said Vince McMahon would love to see him back because Vince McMahon loves giving superstars second chances, I wouldn't be surprise if you see him on Smackdown feuding with Eddie Guerrero. Because Smackdown needs Brock back. As long as he keeps his cool and doesn't complain, he'll be fine.

Let me just say this, if he ever does get into an NFL team, even if he plays or not, the stadium will be packed because many of the fans would love to see Brock Lesnar, and the reason they want to see him is because they all want to see him F-5 someone, anyone, lol. Anyway if he does enter the NFL and joins a team, I'll buy his jersey. Wouldn't you?

"Thank You"

Lesnar will most likely not make it into NFL, he already got rejected by a couple of teams hasn't he? I think it's too late for him and he should of devoted his life to it if he really wanted to join the NFL. I mean he is way too publicised now. And now that we know he joined the WWE only for money then that loses more respect towards him in everyone else's eyes. If your gonna be a wrestler than enjoy it and do it more for the fans not the money. Anyway ... we may never see Brock back for a long time, seeing as he has blurted this out. And if he wanted to come back to WWE he would have to have a good excuse as he says that he regrets joining and should of gone straight for the NFL. Thoughts ...

Well, apparently you've forgotten about all of Goldberg's incidents between WCW closing and him joining WWE. Goldberg had an incident every couple of months where he badmouthed WWE on a regular basis and they still let him join the company.

Hell, one time Goldberg tried to make it public that WWE didn't give a damn about what happened with 9/11, but it turned out they'd already done something huge a day or two before Goldberg made those comments.

None of the things he said between WCW and WWE made WWE look bad, Goldberg always looked stupid because he was either given false information and took it as fact, or he just simply said something ridiculous.

So if Goldberg who tried to humiliate Vince and WWE was able to get into WWE, I think that doesn't disqualify Lesnar from getting back in.
