(Nitro's music hits and then the announcers hype up tonight's show. When the cameras finish showing the screaming crowd, the cameras turn to the ring where 16 superstars stand in the ring, all looking at each other...trying to figure out why they're out there.

Suddenly, Eric Bischoff's music hits. The big screen lights up with Eric shown inside a studio.)

Eric: Hello ladies and gentlemen. You're probably wondering why I'm not there right now. Well, see the thing is...I MIGHT be there later but after what happened last week I feel that's not the best place to be at right now.

(The crowd boos as clips from last week's show are shown of Bischoff costing The Rock, Stone Cold, and Kurt Angle their shots at the title. Those three men happen to be part of the 16 wrestlers in the ring.)

Eric: Guys in the ring, you're probably wondering why exactly you're in there. Why I've instructed you to be out in the ring. Well, it's simple. If you think back to last week and think about who won the matches...and then you take a look at each other, you'll notice one thing you all have in common. You all lost in the first round of the Nitro title tournament.

(More boos from the crowd.)

Eric: Now, I'm a fair guy. Always have been, so I'm going to give you guys another opportunity to win a title here on UWF Nitro. I've put all 16 of your names into this tumbler and am going to draw names out during the commercial break, so that when we get back we will be able to begin tonight....the Nitro Tag Team Tournament! Yes, I will randomly select the members of each team and the brackets they will be placed in. You will battle a tag team tonight and then the winning tag teams after tonight will then go on to next week's show to try and advance to the finals of the tag team tournament. Then at the upcoming PPV which will be announced next week on NITRO AND RAW, there will be a tag team title match. Oh and one more thing, for those of you unfortunate enough to not be in the tag team finals at the PPV, there will be another title introduced either at the PPV or the week before and you'll get your chance then. See you in a couple of minutes!

**The show goes to commercial.**

(When the show comes back on, Eric is shown in the studio where he announces the wrestlers who will pair up and the brackets are then shown on the screen.

Kurt Angle/Sean O'Haire
Kane/Garrison Cade

Eddie Guerrero/Shelton Benjamin
Scott Steiner/Chris Jericho

Billy Kidman/Shawn Michaels
Rodney Mack/Lance Storm

Tajiri/Steve Austin
The Rock/D-Von Dudley)

Eric: Now, I would like you gentlemen to clear the ring as we get the second round of the Nitro Title Tournament underway with the match of Michael Shane versus Akio.

(The 16 men clear the ring and both men make their way down to their music after being announced.)

Michael Shane vs. Akio
(The match is fast-paced and exciting, proving to be an excellent choice for a first match on tonight's UWF Nitro. Akio and Michael Shane both impress the crowd with a vast repretoire of high-flying moves. However, Shawn Michaels' former pupil, Michael Shane, proves that he learned well from his teacher as he leaves Akio knocked out in the middle of the ring via a superkick. The referee registers the three count and Michael Shane becomes the first man to move on to the quarter-finals of the UWF Nitro title tournament.)
Winner: Michael Shane (by pinfall)

Johnny Stamboli vs. Test
(This match was full of powerhouse moves and lots of brawling as both big men tried to be the second man to advance to the quarter-finals. The end of the match saw Test setting Stamboli up for the Test Driver, only to have Stamboli deny him the move and Test falls victim to a Fuhgetaboutit. Stamboli advances.)
Winner: Johnny Stamboli (by pinfall)

Billy Kidman/HBK vs. Rodney Mack/Lance Storm
(Looking at three out of the four participants in this match, it wasn't really expected to last very long, but Rodney Mack and Lance Storm were able to keep Kidman in the ring and HBK looking on from the outside as they pounded away on Kidman. Kidman was thrown around the ring by Mack's power moves and Storm's pure technical moves. Due to an accident, Kidman was able to get away from his opponents long enough to dive for the dramatic, hot tag to Michaels. HBK lit the ring on fire as he kept knocking down both Mack and Lance Storm. After slamming into each other by accident, Lance gets turned around in a stagger and gets a mouthful of boot from HBK. The match ends when Kidman hits a Shooting Star Press onto the unconcious Storm. Billy Kidman and Shawn Michaels become the first team to advance to the second round of the Nitro tag title tournament.)
Winners: Billy Kidman/HBK (by pinfall)

A-Train vs. The Hurricane
(The match was going in A-Train's favor with him overpowering The Hurricane over and over, but everyone was surprised to see The Amazing Red running down the ramp after an accidental knocking out of the referee by A-Train. TAR then slid into the ring and hit an Infa-Red on A-Train. Before the referee woke up, TAR was able to convince Hurricane to pin A-Train. Reluctantly, Hurricane covered A-Train for the count.)
Winner: The Hurricane (by pinfall)

Chavo Guerrero vs. Matt Hardy
(The second cruiserweight match-up of the night and neither man disappoints as they both try to outdo each other to get the biggest pops from the crowd plus hoping to one-up the other enough to get the win. In the end, Matt Hardy proves why Version 1.0 is greater than Chavo Guerrero Version 0.0 as Hardy advances after a Twist of Fate.)
Winner: Matt Hardy (by pinfall)

Eddie Guerrero/Shelton Benjamin vs. Scott Steiner/Chris Jericho
(Scott Steiner becomes the odd man out due to the fact that he's the only powerhouse. The much younger and quicker team of Eddie Guerrero and Shelton Benjamin run circles around Scott Steiner and give Chris Jericho a run for his money, but that quickly comes to a stop when Steiner decides to try sticking his arm out. WHAM, both Eddie and Shelton are down. A Steiner Recliner and Walls of Jericho on both men seal their fates as the team of Steiner and Jericho advance to the next round of the tag title tournament.)
Winners: Scott Steiner/Chris Jericho

The Amazing Red vs. Rene Dupree
(The crowd is in for a surprise once again at the end of this match. Even though TAR is holding his own against the French Phenom, Dupree is still staying just barely ahead of Red, enough to make him look like the possible winner. Suddenly his chances are cut down to nearly zero as Hurricane slides into the ring. Hurricane walks over to Dupree and everyone thinks that Hurricane is going to return the favor to TAR for helping him in his match, when Hurricane turns and hits Red with a Shining Wizard to the temple. The referee is forced to disqualify Dupree. Dupree is furious and chases Hurricane halfway up the ramp before giving up. He stands there all pissed. Red slowly gets up and stares down Hurricane as the two men look at each other. Hurricane mouths the words "you and me next week" to Red. One of the announcers confirms this by reminding fans that the way the brackets are set up, the winner of this match faces the winner of Hurricane's match.)
Winner: The Amazing Red (by disqualification)

Ric Flair vs. Jamie Noble
(Jamie Noble offers his hand in a show of respect at the beginning of the match, but when Naitch accepts the handshake, Noble pulls him in and low-blows the veteran. Noble tries for a roll-up the second week in a row, but Flair kicks out. This enrages Flair and he wails on the young Jamie Noble throughout the match. Jamie is able to come back a couple of times but not enough to capitalize on the Dirtiest Player in the Game. Flair hollers "WOOOO!!" as Jamie taps out to the famous Figure-Four leglock.)
Winner: Ric Flair (by submission)

Kurt Angle/Sean O'Haire vs. Kane/Garrison Cade
(Two seasoned veterans tagging with two rookies proves to be a really good combination. However, Kane and Garrison Cade's combination proves to be greater than Kurt and Sean's combination as Kane chokeslams Sean O'Haire for the win as Angle is busy with Cade on the outside.)
Winners: Kane/Garrison Cade (by pinfall)

Danny Basham vs. Chris Benoit
(In one of the biggest pure upsets in the tournament so far (the other upsets were due to Bischoff meddling with the matches), Danny Basham somehow manages to pin Chris Benoit and shock everyone. A camera angle shows that Benoit's shoulder was actually up, but the referee claims he didn't see it, so Danny advances. Not long afterwards officials swarm the ring, trying to get Benoit from killing the referee.)
Winner: Danny Basham (by pinfall)

John Cena vs. Chuck Palumbo
(Once again, Bischoff meddles in a tournament match-up when he comes back on the big screen again, announcing that the match is a no-DQ match. John, remembering how he thwarted D-Von last week, turns around but is surprised to see Johnny Stamboli swinging a Kendo stick at his head. Cena is knocked silly by the stick and then put in a small package by Chuck Palumbo. The referee registers the pin and the Nitro title tournament sees yet another upset go down.)
Winner: Chuck Palumbo (by pinfall)

Tajiri/Steve Austin vs. The Rock/D-Von Dudley
(Both teams get major pops as they make their way down to the ring and the arena is rocked when Austin and Rock decide to be the ones to start off the match. The ending sees three stunners and one pinfall occur. First stunner goes to The Rock, the second one goes to D-Von Dudley, the third one goes to Tajiri because Austin just doesn't like him. Then finally Austin perches a boot on D-Von's chest as the referee registers the three count, making Tajiri and Steve Austin the last team to advance to the next round of the tag title tournament.)
Winners: Tajiri/Steve Austin (by pinfall)

(The show then goes off the air.)

Next week on Nitro we will see the quarter finals of the Nitro Title tournament and the second round of the Nitro tag title tournament.

--------------

Ok, feedback would be appreciated. As a reminder, keep these things in mind:

- I'm still trying to decrease the amount of matches to a decent amount per week, so there's still a lot of matches. That should also explain why every match isn't explained in true detail, only the ones that had potential to have a lot written about them.

- More storylines will be developed as the world title tournaments for both shows get near the end.

- Matches involving women will begin sometime in the next week or two.

EDIT: As for the RAW show, I'm trying to find what I did with it. I can't seem to find it as I know it was finished. Oh and the shows are late because I forgot and at the first of the week, storms kinda limited my online time.

I like how you set up the Tag Team tournament, very creative. I won't give a hit or miss until you get things more detailed and start to develop more stories. But, I do like the approach you have and how you are using Eric. Good show.
