Following all the trouble we've had with our servers recently, i have just paid for 12 months hosting on a new server. The account setup and transfer process should take about a week to complete. There may be some minimal downtime while the site is transferred, but that will be in a weeks time and i'll be sure to let everyone know in advance before we transfer (most likely some time next weekend).
I'm not entirely convinced this is a good move, as the sites have always been hosted by Sonic, who i could always approach when things went wrong and i'll now be losing that ever so vital lifeline if we transfer. Then again, with my limited time online these days, i never get a chance to be on AIM to contact him anyway, but it's still a huge loss in the event that something goes wrong.
Anyway, just letting you know where we're up to with this.
