So I was going through Trent James' story and I found some holes in it and well I went back throughout my characters backstory (rps really) and found things I forgot. So I went looking for the feds I was in and found nothing basically that I needed from two feds on how Trent became what he is. So I then thought wow I can do a lot with his backstory with the Broken but not Dead series and rework the entire background from his days starting out to how he got here. So I am writing his story, from the beginning, including his family and his wrestling career that in which I could find. So I wanted to know does your wrestler have a backstory? If so how did you keep it in mind when you did roleplays because I always seem to forget what I am doing. (IE Eric is actually just two and not three) You know what I mean?

So when you come up with a character how do you come up with a backstory?

I'd reckon that Ric knows more about my character's history than I do. I just wrote the last two or three years of his life.

My wrestlers story is far too long, and far too complicated. Most people know it, those who don't... read my sign up.

Im my charicters(esesesses?) back story. Anyone who knows me understands just about anything I do. Covering any charicter I have ever had, no matter how different they are, some part of me is in them. or in the case of SiNN, its me turned up (in some parts, in others im really just that crazy)

KJ does indeed have a back story - his autobiography was published back in the PCW days. Basically, it's a tale of scrubbing around the indies in New Mexico as a fresh faced jobber, then discovering the power of comedy which elevated him to main event status. He then got his break with PCW and got teamed with The Dream whom he had spotted on a trip to England (the plane he was on was hijacked - he was only helping out a mate doing some cropspraying)

I found the evolution of a history is shapeable. It should start off as a reason for the character being like they are. In an acting Standpoint (Coz that's my standpoint on a lotta things) you need reasons for a cocky charaxcter to be cocky, or for a normal character to be slighly mifferd. An example is JMC, you know he was stuck up and German, so his first bit of history was to be a descendant of German Nobility.

THEN you begin to add to it, through RPing usually. Not necesarily by actions taken or recent history but by retroactively revisiting your characters past and showing its impacting on the present. APG's The One story (Novel) wasn't decided by him, it was added to and edited around via RP after RP. Usuall these are designed in small ways jsut to give you an edge when talking about someone else. Such as if someone talks about their childhood, you talk about yours. For instance the entire idea of Sophie Cassius was to ridicule someone (Maybe Ranks) and their notion of always having their 'girlfriend' come to the ring. So I created a sister and that impacted my history
