WWE RAW (6/21) Results - The Rock Returns, HHH vs. Eugene!
Event: WWE Monday Night RAW
Date: Monday, June 21st, 2004
Location: Miami, FL (American Airlines Arena)
Results by Bill Watson of PowerWrestling.com

RAW is live tonight from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Flordia.

Start of the show:

Footage is shown from last week when HHH and Eugene met up at Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel. Tonight the two will go one on one and if HHH wins he will be the number one contender for the WWE title.

JR and the King welcome us and tell us that tonight we will see HHH vs. Eugene. Footage is shown of HBK after last week's beating and tonight we will have an update.

If you smeeeellllllll: What The Rock is cooking! The first person to come out on stage is none other than The Rock! The people go crazy as The Rock makes his way to the ring! The Rock is a former Hurricane player and the fans of Miami know it! The Rock gets on the mic as he looks ready to electrify! Before he can say a word millions of "Rocky" chants hit the arena. The Rock does his "finally" deal and instead of saying Miami he says "home," which gets a giant pop from the crowd. He works the crowd for a bit more and he said that his family is in the front row. He says "Check out my hot ass wife." The Rock also says he has a couple of buddies sitting ringside. He introduces Zach Thomas, #54 for the Miami Dolphins. He also introduces some of the Miami Hurricanes and Jason Taylor #99 for the Dolphins. The Rock goes on to roast the two pro football players a bit as the crowd eats it right up. He says Jason Taylor makes 20 million a year and still calls him collect.

As The Rock moves on to say he has another friend in eugene, Orton hits the ring to say a few things to The Rock, who happens to be a legend! Orton says that Eugene is not here because he is with his new found friend Eugene and he is taking him to the arena personally. Orton goes to say something to The Rock but the "*******" chants start. He says that they have never really had a chance to talk. He then talks about Evolution's victory at WrestleMania 20.

Randy goes on to tell The Rock that he is old news and that Randy Orton is new news. The Rock rebuttals by telling Randy Orton that the fans are right by calling him an *******. The Rock then starts to talk about how his ancestors whipped the crap out of Randy's and how Randy's momma and grand momma got their lips slapped right off their face by his momma and grand momma. Randy Orton says that The Rock can listen to all these people but they know deep down that Randy Orton is the man. The Rock says it goes even further back as kids when The Rock met him and he was playing with my little pony. He went on to mock Randy badly and then said that Randy ran away when they were kid and Mr. Orton said "don't make fun of my son, one day he will be great." The Rock said he told Mr. Orton that one day he will whip his sons little ass! The two are about to go at it but Randy says he has a match tonight and he is in his suit not ready to fight. The Rock says that the people may not see them fight TODAY, but they will see them fight TONIGHT. The Rock gives Orton about 5 right hands and then does the spit fisted punch to knock Randy over the top rope.

The Rock throws the belt out of the ring and as Randy is getting up Eric Bischoff comes out and says that The Rock cannot jeopardize anything tonight. Eric Bischoff kicks him out. The Rock grabs a mic and starts to leave with the mic. He makes some awesome jokes on the way to the back. He says that Eric Bischoff throws of all people, THE ROCK out tonight? No wonder WCW failed he says. He then runs into Trish and Tyson and tells Trish to stop looking at his package. He then tells Tyson to stop looking but he ejnoys his show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. He runs into Molly Holly and shakes her hand then pulls her wig off and throws in on a security guard. He runs into Rosey and The Hurricane and he throws a few jokes their way as well. He then sees the Coach who is laughing. He starts talking to the Coach saying that he should chill with the Rock and get some Miami poontang tonight! The Coach goes to high five The Rock but Rock stands him up and leaves. He gets to the end of the arena and starts to talk more but Orton from the ring is on the mic asking for someone to shut the Rock up. The Rock tells Orton that he will feel something big in three seconds. He counts down.. 3,2,1.... we get a shot to the ring where Edge spears Orton! A classic Rock segment indeeed.

Bischoff in the back: Eric tells a security Guard to make sure The Rock does not come back. He then talks to Chris Benoit who comes in. Benoit tries to get Eric to drop the eugene match saying he will give HHH a shot if he wants it. Eric tells Benoit to stay out of it or else he will be thrown out.

Women's title Match
Referee: Chris Kay
Victoria vs. Trish (c)
Start of the match:

Victoria starts the match off quickly with a roll up for a two count. She takes Trish down and hits her ass shaking moonsault for a two count. Victoria gets thrown outside but lands on the apron but Trish dropkicks her off the apron into the security railing.

Mid Match Notes:

Trish is in control as she takes down Victoria and tries to mock her by doing the ass shaking moonsault but she takes too long and Victoria rolls her up for a two count. Victoria is in control when she lifts Trish over her head and gives her the tilt a whirl side slam. Trish and Victoria go back and forth a bit but Victoria hits a wicked kick right to Trish's face and she could be knocked out.

End of Match:

Victoria goes to the top rope after the kick and she hits a big moonsault. The ref starts the count but Tyson grabs Trish and pulls her out of the pin. Victoria then looks at Tyson and tries to slap him. When victoria turns around Trish rolls her up and uses the ropes to get a three count and defenjd her title.

Winner and still Women's Champion: Trish Stratus

After the match Trish and Tyson pick on Victoria but a woman comes from the crowd and this woman looks oddly like a man named Steven Richards!

HBK's status:

Footage is shown from last week's incident as HBK was destroyed by Kane. We are told that HBK was released from the hospital but is hurt very badly and we will not see him for a long time.

Regal shows up in Eric's office and he asks Eric why he has not listened to Benoit. Regal argues the fact but Eric says that Eugene has to quit under his own power and that there is no better way to get that job done than to have him beaten like a drum against HHH. Regal tells Eric that he should be ashamed of himself. Eric goes on saying that Regal has done a good job with Eugene and that he is relieved of his duties with Eugene and will now be on the active roster and his first match is coming up NEXT.

One on One Match
Referee: Jack Doan
William Regal vs. Kane

Regal is standing in the ring awaiting his first match in over a year. Kane's music hits and Kane comes to the ring and Regal jumps outside to try and get a quick upper hand. Regal gets some shots in but Kane quickly overpowers him and send his flying in the air down to the hard outside mat. Kane picks Regal up by the throat and throws him off the ropes and Regal bounces back Kane gets a huge big boot on Regal that knocks him out cold. The match never got under way.

Match is a no contest

After the match Kane is in the back asking if that is what Eric wanted. Eric says that is what he wanted and that next week Kane will face Chris Benoit for the world title! Kane says that is great, but he is not done for the night. Bischoff asks him what he means and he walks off laughing.

We get some Diva Search footage and all I can say is that the next diva will be HOT.

Tag Team Match
Referee: Jack Doan
Randy Orton and Batista vs. Edge and Chris Jericho

Start of the Match:

Edge and Orton are about to start but Orton tags Batista. Edge smiles and is up for the challenge. Edge dodges Batista a few times to get in some shots but a third time and Batista is on control with clubbing blows. Orton is tagged and he hits Edge with the European uppercuts. Randy plays the crowd but turns around to get a few shots from Edge who whips him off the ropes and hits him with a big dropkick. The two battle back and forth for a bit until Edge hits a clothesline followed by a suplex for a two count. Batista is tagged back in and he controls Edge in the corner.

Edge is in trouble as Batista starts to overpower him and wear him down. Batista whips Edge to the corner and runs at him but Edge gets a drop toe hold and is able to tag Jericho.

Mid Match Notes:

Jericho comes in with a head of steam as he tries to take Batista down and finally does with a flying forearm. Batista tries to fight back but Jericho works him over with a knee chop after he knocks Orton off the apron. Jericho hits his running knee of the ropes followed by a bulldog and the lionsault. Jericho goes for the pin but Orton breaks it up. All men hit the ring and Jericho and Edge clear the ring! Jericho irish whips Edge to the ropes and he baseball slide kicks Orton and then goes outside to work on him. As Jericho turns around in the ring Batista nails him with a very stiff clothesline to the head. He goes to pick up Jericho but Jericho is not moving. The ref calls for help as Jericho looks unconscious.

When we come back Jericho is not there as he got taken away. During the break the ref gave Edge the option to fight and he agreed to. Orton is in control as he is wearing Edge down with a headlock. Chris Jericho's injury may be legit. Edge starts to fight back as he gets to his feet and rolls Orton up with an inside cradle. Orton however fights back with a clothesline and some more wear down holds.

Orton misses a dropkick and both men look for a tag but obviously Edge has nobody to tag. Batista comes in and lifts Edge up but Edge falls out and hits his falling Edgeomatic. Edge builds up a huge head of steam as he hits several big moves on both men. He stacks them in the corner and shoulder spears them both. Batista goes to the outside and Edge works on Orton and eventually hits him with the spear!

End of the match:

Edge goes to pin Orton but Batista breaks up the count and hits the powerbomb on Edge he is not the legal man though so he leaves. Edge is out much like Jericho was so maybe Jericho was not injured. Orton however picks him up and gives him the RKO anyway to pin him.

Winners: Batista and Randy Orton of Evolution

Matt about to propose?

Stacy is in the back and she runs into Matt and tells him congrats on becoming a father. Matt asks her if she can keep a secret and she says yes. Matt whips out a ring and says that he is going to propose to Lita. Stacy is excited, Matt thanks her for keeping the secret and kisses her on the cheek.

After the Smackdown Rebound A limo shows up with Eugene coming out of it and playing with action figures. HHH and Flair come out of the limo and tell Eugene that tonight he gets to dress in the Evolution locker room. Eugene walks off happy as Flair and HHH says that they are having a lot of fun with this.

Matt hits the ring with a ring!

Matt Hardy comes to the ring and is all smiles as the crowd cheers him on. He says that yesterday we celebrated Father's Day but it had a whole new meaning to him since he will be a daddy. He asks Lita to come out and she does. The two kiss and hold hands as Matt looks into her eyes ready to say something. He says he loves her and she makes him the happiest person in the world. He says he wants to show her how much he loves her. Matt gets down on one knee and pulls out the ring, he grabs her hand and asks her to marry him. Lita is shaking her head in a yes motion when Kane comes on the titan tron saying "Liiiiiitaaaaaa, Liiiiiitttttaaa." Kane says Lita should tell Matt something but if she does not want to he will tell him himself. He then tells Matt that the baby Lita is carrying in not Matt's, IT"S HIS. Matt goes nuts on the mic telling Kane to come down and take him on. Kane says if he does not believe him then to ask Lita. Kane dissapears and Lita is crying as Matt is looking at her. She continues to cry as Matt realizes it is true... Matt looks horrified as he cannot believe what he is hearing!

When we come back from break Matt is leaving the arena and Lita is trying to explain that she slept with Kane to protect Matt. Matt is weirded out as Lita says the baby COULD be his. Matt says "Could be mine?" and walks out. Lita drops to the floor crying.

Eugene is in the Evolution locker room as they talk to him about the match. Eugene asks where William Regal is since he likes to go to the ring with him. HHH says Eugene does not need Regal because he is with Evolution now. Eric comes in and wishes eugene luck. HHH gets in his face and tells him that Eugene is with Evolution now and the beating will not happen, he screams at Eric as if he actually likes Eugene. HHH tells Eugene to go get ready so he can finish his conversation with Eric. When Eugene leaves everyone gets a laugh....

Number one contender match (for HHH)
Referee: Michael Chioda
HHH vs. Eugene

Eugene hits the ring and when HHH is called out he gets VERY excited to wrestle his favorite wrestler of all time! HHH calls Eugene out to the apron and allows him to do his taunt with him.

Start of the Match:

The two shake before the match twice and then they lock up and HHH hits a hip lock takeover. He picks eugene up and shakes his hand. HHH goes off the ropes and Eugene hits a hip toss but HHH is a bit pissed off as Eugene helps him up. HHH gets a headlock and a wrist lock but Eugene powers out and throws the Game across the ring. Eugene taunts like Hulk Hogan as HHH watches on. Eugene calls for the test of strength and Eugene over powers him and the Game screams in pain.

Flair gets on the apron and holds his hands up and Eugene thinks he wants to play mercy and Eugene bends his wrists and Flair screams in pain. HHH hits a go behind but Eugene works out of it and hits a back suplex. HHH rolls to the outside as Eugene runs around in the ring as we take a commercial break.

Mid Match Notes:

When we come back Eugene is still in control with monkey flips and arm drags as he takes HHH down to the mat. Eugene puts HHH in a painkiller and HHH screams in pain. The ref breaks it in the corner and HHH tells eugene that he hurt his arm. Eugene looks sorry as HHH is acting in pain. Eugene goes to apologize and HHH decks him with a right hand. He then beats Eugene all over the ring with rights and lefts and Irish whips. Eugene looks hurt as HHH continues to beat him all over Miami. Eugene gets a kick in but he runs at HHH and catches a spinebuster. HHH covers him but only gets a two count. HHH goes back to wearing him down as Flair gets involved as well.

HHH starts to punch Eugene but Eugene is not feeling it! Eugene gets angry and hulks up and takes HHH down with a big right hand. Eugene hits the double atomic drops front and back. Eugene picks up HHH for the helicopter spin and swings him around! Eugene climbs the top rope as HHH gets up dizzy and swings at thin air and falls down! Eugene comes off the top rope with an axe handle and he gets a two count. Eugene then gets out of a Pedigree and hits a Rock bottom and the people's elbow! He pins HHH for a two count.

End of the match:

HHH is on the outside of the ring and eugene throws him back in but gets some trouble from Flair. Eugene punches Flair but when he goes back in the ring HHH hits the Pedigree! HHH goes to pin Eugene but Eric Bischoff comes on the mic and says he did not ask HHH to beat Eugene, he asked HHH to beat the HELL out of him and if he does not he will not get his title shot. HHH goes and brans a chair and he is about to get Eugene with it but Benoit comes and makes the save! Benoit takes down HHH with a German suplex and works on Evolution with the chair to keep them out of the ring! Benoit however goes to hit HHH with the chair but HHH ducks and Eugene gets nailed with the steel chair! Benoit then gets a Pedigree and Evolution leaves as they feel they have done the job.

Winner: No Contest

Can some body tell me why Benjamin wasn't on Raw for the second week in a row?

He is injured. He has a broken hand i think.

I'm done with the huge reviews. So I'm going to do something new. It's gonna either be Highs, Lows, In Between. Lets see how it goes.

Highs

Rock on Raw - Rock is gold scratch that platinum every time he comes in. I can see a future feud between Rock and Randy. That would be one of the biggest money feuds in WWE history IMO. That whole segment had me LMFAO. I usually don't like when Vince tells people to take shots at WCW but the Rock did it perfectly. Him pulling off Molly's wig was funny as hell. I'm tellin' you, if the Rock was on Raw every Monday I think I would have a heart attack so it's good that he comes every once in a while.

Randy Orton and Batista vs. Chris Jericho and Edge - Batista and Orton got put over big time in this match as did Edge. Edge still isn't impressing me though. With his push he should be watching tapes and training extra hard to become a ring general and not Mr. Spotfest. He'll never main event with this ring style

HHH vs. Eugene - It was expected to happen the way it did but they played this thing off very well. Now I think it's time for Eugene to move back down the card a bit because they are going to kill the novelty of this character.

Regal vs. Kane - While a big boot isn't my idea of something that would have had Regal out like that seeing as it doesn't do that to other guys, given his past medical condition it's understandable. Do the fans know what he was out with though? A boot with his head bouncing off of the ring post would have been more effective.

Lows

Eric Bischoff's use of Benoit - You're gonna talk to your champion like that and tell him that he can be removed? That's the guy who the people come to see. The worst thing about it was the way they just had him go on like it was nothing not even trying to fight Bischoff. Benoit is over as champ in a big way but they failed to bank on that last night. He could have said that "Eric, as far as I'm concerned, this is my show and you can't afford to throw me out of the building." Not exactly that but something for Benoit to stand up to him and say no. They do such a good job building Benoit but stuff like this and him being in Bischoff's office for the HHH/HBK angle when Bisch said he would fire these guys if they didn't help him are horrible booking decisions. The one thing SD does better than Raw is atleast allow their champion to be in more segments and seem as if he doesn't take orders from anyone.

Kane's "you didn't see nothin' yet" - So you being the father of Lita's baby is supposed to get you more over as a monster? I was expecting to see Kane beating the living hell out of someone else. Another missed opportunity."

Kane/Matt/Lita - The only high note of this angle is that they hurried into Kane being the father instead of dragging it along. Matt Hardy looks like a complete jackass right now. The WWE has hollywood writers but yet they couldn't do a better job writing this when this is supposed to be their specialty? The only way I can see them salvaging this angle would be for Lita to get an abortion. I've said why in other posts

No Shelton Benjamin two weeks in a row - Rumor has it that he has a broken hand. I can easily see them factoring this into his angle with Randy Orton in order to add even more heat to the feud. Hopefully it's not anything that is going to keep him out for long because his feud with Randy Orton needs to be taken to the next level along with his character.

No PPV matches announced - There are two Raws left before Vengeance. What excuse do they have for not booking one match? This company ends up screwing itself over because they don't treat PPVs important. It's a shame that they won't realize that this is the reason for low buyrates. If you don't care about the PPV's why should the fans give two ****s about them?

In Between

Trish/Victoria - The match was pretty good. I didn't like Tomko's trying to punk Vic at the end. Steven Richards in drag? Wow, I don't know what to say. Hopefully he can bring back the psycho Vic because it's worse than I thought.

I give this weeks Raw an 8 out of 10. The Rock segment and the tag match are the only things that kept me from giving this show the 7 it deserved. The WWE needs to find a way to end this pregnancy angle and fast. It's not entertaining nor is it helping any of the parties involved. I don't know how they're gonna build Vengeance with two Raws left before the PPV. With the roll Raw has been on as of late, it's a shame that they still don't know how to build PPVs.

I dont know Unkown. Looking at the report Raw doesnt look all that strong at all. Jericho being taken out of a match after a clothesline? Hardly a move that would knock a main eventer unconcious. That was a bad call IMO. Maybe if they had him take a fall off the apron onto the guardrail or something.

The pregnancy angle was coming at us, we all knew it was coming. Its just a shame that they have Kane as a wrecking machine one week and a sex freak the next. "**** me or I'll beat your boyfriend!' Oh genious guys, pure genious.

Chris Beniot has been taking a back seat on Raw for the last two months. When you consider the TV time Eugene and Triple H gets over the champion you can see why PPV buyrates are so low. Beniot has no challenger for the title and looks to have been protrayed as a mid-carder on this show.

Im looking foreward to seeing the Rock. He has been dynamite the last few times he has made a Raw appearence and this week looks to be no different. Its a pity that he isnt wrestling more and his contract is due to expire in the near future.

Im not looking foreward to Raw this week as much s I have other weeks. There seems to be alot wrong with this weeks show. I'll just have to wait and see what I think of it.

I think they just did the clothesline thing to get Batista over more. It was a devastating clothesline but nothing out of the ordinary. The only matches I can see them having are Orton/Edge and Batista/Jericho. The backstory for both matches would be pretty weak though IMO. They are really hurting the show by using the pregnancy angle along with the diva search. These things take up time that should go into much more important things.

Well, here is my take on the show.

Hit:

Rock/Orton: Rock opening the show was a great call, but this segment picked up when Orton walked out, dressed in a suit. He and Rock had a great segment together, and the two of them teased us with a match that will happen; Orton vs. Rock. Rock, as always, was on his game and really made the show. Orton came away from this segment with more "heel" credability and he is a star.

Orton/Batista vs. Edge/Jericho: The clothesline from Batista looked devastating the way Jericho sold it. Jericho and Batista will know doubt meet at Vengeance which is a good call, cause Dave is ready for a high profile match to elevate his career. Edge still looks okay in the ring, but considering he has only been back since WM20, I'll cut him some slack. I guess we will get Orton vs. Edge at Vengeance. Good match that really put Dave and Randy over.

Miss:

Kane: Yeah, he destroyed Regal, and I know that it fit into the storyline with Eugene and HHH, but all Kane did was give him a big boot, slammed him on the mat outside. If he had chokeslammed regal on the outside, then that would have been better and it would have come off as Kane being a monster. Then, the big shock  , Lita is carryine Kane's baby. The WWE had to go through with this and I am glad that they didn't stretch it out. Hardy's career has just suffered a devestating blow. Lita, even though I like her, is a terrible actress and nothing she did last night convinced me.

Benoit: As the Raw Champion, Chris Benoit has taken a back seat to HHH/HBK and now HHH/Eugene. When Chris' reign comes to an end, I just hope that people remember that it was creative's fault for not making him a more credible champion. Hunter should not be the focus of the show. Chris should. There is no excuse for this. Plus, I think Benoit's character is soft, and I don't like that either. He needs his mean streak back.

Trish: Poor girl is trying, but she just isn't convincing as a heel. It worked for two months, but that was because of Jericho. Now that they are through, Trish is suffering and is not doing anything for the Women's championship. The match she and Victoria had was good, but mostly because of Victoria. Her superkick looked awesome on Trish. I don't know what the WWE can do to help Trish, but she just can't be a heel.

Steven is drag: Why...................Why..................Why? This just pisses me off because the WWE is wasting a talent like Richards with stupid stuff like this.

Victoria: I actually like Victoria as a face, but she needs new music. I think with time she will grow on the fans, but alot of the fans really do like her. Her psycho routine had run its' course IMO. I just hope she gets the belt back and that she and Gail can re-new their rivalry.

HHH/Eugene: I did not like the ending of this at all, mostly because it didn't do anything for either Hunter or Eugene. I'm sure HHH will keep his "friend" thing going with Eugene by telling him that Benoit was the one who hit him with the chair. I like the story, just the ending was not done well at all. And the fans were pissed because they wanted Rock to come out and help Eugene. Match was decent.

No La Resistance: If you want to build the tag team division, then your champs need to be on the show. Bad call here.

No Shelton: If he is injured, I just hope the fans don't forget him. Hopefully he will be back soon.

I don't know guys, the past two shows have done little to inspire me. This will get a better rating than last weeks, but only because Rock was on. 5.5/10

I'm changing my rating for Raw to a 6.5 out of 10. I realize that I gave them too many lows to give the show an 8. Maybe it ws just me allowing the show to slide because of how good it has been as of late but the last month of shows haven't been as good. The lack of Vengeance buildup also deserves a lower rating. Not even the freakin' main event was announced and the PPV is three weeks away (two Raws)! The horrible booking of a champion with so much cred right now is not good either. I knew the Eugene stuff would end up going too far and they made sure that it did. He is now being booked as more important than 75% of the Raw roster. Using him this way is horrible along with Eric Bischoff's trying to make him quit. You can't fire him but you can try to get people to beat the hell out of him? Guess his sister only watches Raw when he calls her and says "Hey sis Eugene's on!". I am honestly tired of giving this company good reviews when they don't deserve them. They continue to defy logic every freakin' night. (If this seems like a rant...it is!) If they didn't have a good roster to fall back on, Vengeance would probably be one of the worst PPVs in history. Not even Vengeance and the Bash got buildup this poor.

All I have to say about Raw at this point is that the Lita pregnancy angle makes me feel embarrassed to be watching it, and that isn't a good thing. I know people call wrestling a male soap opera, but this is going too far. Next thing you know they are gonna change the name of Raw to "As the WWE Turns".

Speaking of turns, Matt's face turn and this angle have gone by at light speed. It's been like a month since he was a heel and as soon as he turns face him and Lita get back together and he proposes. After a month of being back together? Come on now, that's pushing it.

On top of it all, this angle entrenches Kane firmly back in the midcard muck...looks like losing his mask has really pushed Kane to new heights

Glad to see that you have seen the light Unknown, and that Raw has been average (at best) the past few weeks. The damn Raw Diva search aint helping things either.

I think, to echo part of what Unknown was saying, WWE is botching, or has already botched, the Eugene angle. It's like they still don't know what they want to do with it. Maybe they are headed somewhere decent with this, but I think this last week was the point of no return. Does this match versus HHH make Eugene a contender for the title now? Its like Eugene has nowhere to go but down now, unless they want to put the title on him.

They had a perfectly good mid-card angle going that they could have strung along for a few months, ending with a Regal/Eugene feud. Now, IMO, it just doesn't make any sense.

I agree with you guys. I think that it's a testament to how creative the Rock actually is with the fact that he's only on the show 3 times a year (maybe) but he's STILL more entertaining on the mic than the entire roster at this point. Maybe they should have him teach a class on "how to be more creative on the microphone" or something.

p.s. And Chazz, I love the Raw Diva search. I wish the WWE would do more contests like this. Helps keep them mainstream.

Now now MM I am going to have stand up for my man, the highlight of the night, the ayatollah of rock and rolla, the King of Bling Bling, Y2J........ Chris Jericho. See how long it took me to get that out. IMO Jericho is up their with the Rock when it comes to mic legends. As a face he is pretty much unbeatable. Rock and Jericho squaring off in a mic war is just gold.

I agree with you to a point. The Ayatollah vs the Brahma Bull on the mic is as good as it gets. And you're right, the face Jericho is right up their with the Rock. The difference comes when they turn heel. The Rock is recognized as one of the greatest heel character's of all time. Jericho was just okey-doke as a heel, for me anyways. But you're a King and you're always right.... :evilking: ***runs away***
