A couple of hours ago I saw some of the best matches I have seen in the WWE in a while. London/Noble was PPV quality. That was one of the best if not the best cruiserweight matches of the year. They had London come out to Spanky's entrance music in fact they had him do exactly what Spanky does when he comes out which is fine with me. That match was so good that it's a shame that they didn't have it on SD this past week in place of all of the useless recaps of events from the same night, the Kenzo match, the Mordecai vignette, and the Torrie segment. It looks like London will be using his 450 splash rather than his shooting star which is fine seeing as Billy Kidman uses the shooting star already. What really impressed me about this match was the finish. London had Noble on the floor and was going for a 450 splash when Noble got up and started punching him. He then went for a superplex which London blocked throwing him to the floor. London then tried the 450 but Noble moved out of the way then he picked him up and planted him with the Tiger Driver for the win. Who says that a heel has to cheat to win a match? Even though I was expecting Noble to do his new submission, the Tiger Driver looked sick and is an effective finisher. When Rey loses the belt I hope it is to Noble so that he can go into a feud with London.

Another impressive match was the tag battle with the FBI going against Akio and Sakoda. The cruiser/power wrestler combinations prove to be such good combinations. This match was so good that it isn't even funny. Both teams busted their asses to put on a great tag match. The FBI played the faces. Considering the way they have been used on SD lately, they can play the face team and get over especially seeing as SD needs a face team. I disagree with Mac Daddy on this pairing as I now find the pairing of Nunzio and Stamboli much more entertaining. Though I'd rather see Guido in the cruiserweight division, he is a very good tag wrestler who made the Kiss of Death finisher work better than Palumbo did. Akio and Sakoda did their double kick combination which looks to be one of their signature moves. Hopefully they still do that finisher that they did back when they first came to SD (the double leg sweep into a slam thing) because it's a very effective one.

After seeing these matches it has become apparent to me that either the WWE is stupid or they are finally smartening up and will move these guys onto SD. If they want to fix both divisions, matches like this along with real tag teams being used (Akio and Sakoda, FBI, The Bashams) will help in a big way.

Mark Jindrak's match was pretty entertaining also. I think that the WWE should spend more time on him then they do on Kenzo and Mordecai seeing as his gimmick has more of a chance of getting over with the fans and is something that can easily be changed as his character develops.

If matches and feuds like this happened on SD, then the WWE would only have the US title and the WWE title divisions to worry about fixing because all of their other problems will be fixed.

I've been saying for a long time that outside of ROH and occasionally TNA, Velocity is the best place to go if you're interested in seeing talented wrestlers perform. Usually I don't get the chance to watch Velocity but I did get a chance to see the first two matches tonight and I was really impressed.

Ok, Paul London is my favorite wrestler in the WWE. I think that he might be the most skilled person in the company. I also think that Jamie Noble is one of the closest things to Dean Malenko that you will find. The matchup kind of resembled the American Dragon/Paul London classic and when given a comparison like that then it must have been good. The spot where London got dropkicked on that HBKesque move was absoluetly sick. Only thing that disappointed me though was that Noble won. I like Noble but if London had have won, then he might get into the Cruiserweight title picture and finally get onto Smackdown where he deserves to be.

As for the Tag match, I was supremely impressed. I'm a fan of everyone in the match so it's no suprise to me that they produced such stellar action. I really think that these two teams work well together and I think that they could both be used to boost Smackdown's struggling Tag Team divison.

From what I saw of Velocity, it was a very solid show and some of the best action the WWE has produced in quite a while.

I am a loyal Velocity viewer. I record each Saturday, and better wrestling takes place constantly. Also, the crowd is much better on Velocity than on SD.

I agree with Unknown about Jindrak. Mark Jindrak is the champion of Velocity. Many people have criticised him for being a rip-off of Lex Luger. I'm not a fan of that era, and from what I'm seeing week after week, he plays it to perfection - pun intended. Mark Jindrak and Theodore R. Long are great week after week and I can't wait until this guy moves onto Smackdown and some serious feuds/matches.

Velocity is great all around, and yes, I wish they'd keep the recaps off and show more wrestling. I haven't else to say, but I wanted to express my pleasure with Jindrak. The guy is gold and he gets heat every single week.

I watch it occasionally and I agree with what everyone here has said, it's great to see cruisers get 15minute matches which they rarely get on SD these days where they can really show their stuff. I watched a 9minute match of Paul London vs Chris Sabin for the X division title from the NWA website the other day , OK London lost but this is what he should be doing on SD, challengeing for the title. It was superb, the match sold a story and had all the high spots you'd expect from cruisers. This is what they show on Velocity and what they need to bring to SD in the near future, it could turn the publics opinion of SD on a huge scale and bring the show back to glory

PK is rowing in behind Velocity as well. This show is just great viewing. Week after week we get some seriously great Cruiserweight action and I have to wonder if the WWE exec's watch the same show we do. At times Velocity's main events are poor but you are always garunteed two great matches on Velocity.

Im with Mac Daddy on Jindrak. This guy is playing his role perfectly. He and Teddy make a great team. He is athletic, sure of himself in the ring and with Long behind him the sky is the limit as far as Jindrak is concerned. Give him a month or two and the guy will be a main fixture in the US title hunt.

I was thinking about watching Velocity on Sunday but I coulden't be asked. Perhaps I will this Sunday though.
