//--START TRANSMISSION--\\
Three weeks ago I made the request for WPW Superstars to stand up to the injustice in which they have been spoon fed for so long. This week I told the WPW that its time to show the world what it truly is an not what it has become. Tonight I am going to make my debut on WPW TV. I am going to show you face to face what I mean. I am going to show you WPW what you've done to yourself from the inside out.
Tonight WPW, The Ace in Hole, will assume his role as the resident Go-to-Man here in WPW and bring it back out of the dead and back into the hearts of those who you've lost, your fans.
Tonight WPW be ready to Gamble on the true Ace in the Hole ...
Logan Wentworth!
//--END TRANSMISSION--\\
Hmm just wow, I saw that video shortly after my girlfriend broke up with me, and by girlfriend breaking up with me, I mean I pushed some fat bitch down the escalator at the mall, and after she broke her back, she didn't enjoy my company anymore. Oh and before I forget, I am your source for all things news, Damien Darksight. Not all of you WPW fans know me, but some of the Total Carnage Wrestling fans know me from my time spent running the promotion there. Well anyways, I was trying to book a ticket to go see TNT this week, and I did think it was odd that I booked a ticket that left a few days early, well come to find out I booked a bus ticket to go see WPW's Live...Yeah I was just as disappointed when I found out too. Anyways, after many phone calls,angry arguments with customer service, and dealing with the morons at the front doors of the building, I got into the show and this is a recap of what happened....
T-Dog vs. El Pollo
This match involved two guys who....well what I mean to say is...ok I didn't know who either guy was really. Both men came out to no music and that confused me entirely. The first thoughts that went through my head was that these guys were both going to claim to be from Russia and start doing headbutts to the chest to each other, not sadly that didn't happen. The bell rang and I was excited for a moment, thinking the match was already over, however I was let down just as quickly as I realized the match was just starting. The match started pretty evenly until I believe they called him 'T-Dog' began using less than fair tactics to get over on El Popcorn, or was it Pollo...ehh anyways, this led to a chair being brought into the ring and it looked as if Popcorn would be bleeding tonight! I was about to get up and go to the restroom however a man by the name of Logan Wentworth came running down to the ring right as the chair was about to come into play and he actually saved the day! He pulled the chair, or attempted to take it from T-Dog, which resulted in T-Dog trying to jerk the chair free from Wentworth, this caused the chair to fly backward into the face of the official of the match, laying him out. After trying to check on the official, T-Dog turned back towards Wentworth who was entirely in the ring now and after giving a swift kick to the gut, he hit T-Dog with some sort of...modified Styles Clash move then left the ring in time for El Pollo to crawl over and make the pin right as the official was regaining his senses. Seconds later the match was over and El Pollo was the victor. I assumed this however as after Wentworth's interference, I headed into the back to seek out the restroom then heads a small pop from the crowd after they made a Three Count chant.
Winner = El Pollo, Elapsed Time : 10 minutes on the dot.
The Main Man vs. Justin Dreamer
I returned almost twenty minutes later, after having had to seek out the restrooms, which it turns out were locked, so I had to leave the building and drive to the nearest gas station to use theirs, which was entirely pointless if you ask me. Either way, I rushed back, hoping I had not missed anything and it seems as though I did not! I arrived just in time to hear the announcer reveal to the fans that neither Justin Dreamer or The Main Man had appeared for their scheduled match tonight, although they did have two guys from ECW that were willing to work...that was quickly discarded however as time had to be made to allow the other matches on the show to continue.
Winner= No Contest due to a No Show. Elapsed Time : 25 minutes. (They tried to find the wrestlers first)
Xavier Ray vs. Sky Ryder
Now this match I was actually looking forward too. I have been keeping myself updated on the recent situation of Silver and Sky Ryder here in WPW because the guys were two of the best attractions I had to work with at TCW, so getting to see Sky Ryder again was awesome. After both men made their way out, I could tell that the recent events dealing with Silver and Starks had taken their toll on Ryder, he seemed really fired up but just couldn't stay focused on Xavier, often times calling him Silver and belittling him every time he sent him to the canvas. Xavier got his fair share of offense, at one point of the match he even sent Sky Ryder to the outside of the ring with a clothesline over the ropes that nearly took Sky Ryder's head off. After a short scuffle on the outside, the match returned to the ring where Xavier made the mistake of yelling out something along the lines of 'Id hit his woman from behind too', this didn't set good with Sky Ryder as he seemed to just snap. He began to lay Xavier out with line after line, multiple back elbows, and repeated body slams. The official nearly had to call the match on 4 different occasions when Sky seemed to be unwilling to break submissions holds or heed the 5 counts when he had Xavier in the corners. Xavier tried fighting back once more, this time catching Sky with a low blow when the official could not see, however this just seemed to further upset Sky Ryder as he quickly countered a clothesline attempt and hit Xavier with a deadly 'SKO'. Sky looked like he would go for the pin at that point but then he stood and began yelling at Xavier again before he picked him up and hit him with the SKO once more. Sky finally rolled a barely conscious Xavier over onto his back and pinned him winning the match after a successful three count.
Winner= Sky Ryder, Elapsed Time : 15 minutes
J.T. Edwards vs. Blade LaVigne
After returning from the concession stand which shouldn't really be considered a stand since it was more like a small laptop table with a sheet over it...I enjoyed my snickers while watching a match that was already in progress. I have to say I was very surprised as I had heard alot of negative things about Blade Lavigne and I had heard almost nothing about this 'J.T. Edwards' guy, but this match entertained me almost as much as the previous match did. There was alot of back and forth action as neither man seemed willing to give any ground up to the other. Blade would throw a hardback hand chop and Edwards would respond with a stiff forearm to the head, Blade with hit him with a clothesline and on Edwards way back to his feet, he would catch a running Blade with a hard back elbow. I was also surprised at the crowd response, they seemed to be enjoying the fact that both men were beating the piss out of each other, although I did hear a few chants of 'Go back to Gladstone' and I couldn't help but feel sad for the poor fans of WPW, everyone knows Yogi The Bear was from Yellowstone gosh. Anyways, after a long back and forth battle, Blade seemed to be getting over on Edwards catching him with a discuss clothesline, a high drop kick, and finally he layed Edwards out with a solid running big boot. A few near falls were attempted by Blade and for all his efforts he was given only two counts, but the little train that could just wouldn't stop as Blade kept on trying. Eventually the game seemed to be winding down when Blade signaled for something by yelling out 'I can steal from Goldberg too'. This confused me until I saw Blade grab Edwards and lift him up for what appeared to be his attempt at a Jackhammer. Lucky for Edwards though, Blade didn't do enough damage to him and he had enough sense to struggle out of the move and having the perfect chance to run to the nearest corner with Blade and nailing what I believe a young fan told me was the 'Vindicator' which I thought looked alot like the 'Sliced Bread Number Two', either way a pin was made and after a lengthy Three count that seemed more like Six, the match was over.
Winner= J.T. Edwards, Elapsed Time : 25 minutes
Brock Goodman v Beno
In all honesty I am not sure what happened in this match, after the Lavigne match I tried to roam the halls in an attempt to find access into the backstage area so I could catch up with Sky Ryder on old times and congratulate him on his match. This didn't prove successful though as after about 10 minutes of walking and searching, I came up empty handed and headed back to my seat. The last match of the night had already began and it seemed not alot was going on, Brock Goodman was beating on Bono, and that sent me for a loop as I didn't know the guy could wrestle, I thought he stuck to singing...I was however, corrected by some old hag who appeared to be the mans only fan as she told me that his name was 'Beno', not Bono. There was not alot of offense from Beno so I assume I missed out on any offense he had for the ten minutes I was gone, although from the beating Goodman was putting on him, I also wondered if he had any offense to begin with. After another five minutes of dragging the beating through the mud, Goodman hit Beno with some sort of Spinning Crucifix Powerbomb that caused Beno to fold awkwardly on his neck but in the end Goodman made the pin and gained a victory.
Winner= Brock Goodman, Elapsed Time : 15 minutes.
Total Show Time : One Hour and Thirty Minutes.
So yeah, the show was nothing like what I expected, however it was just about everything I heard it was so I guess on average I could rate this show an 8 out of 10, however I am smarter than that and will rate the show a 5 out of 10. Good night Ladies and Gentlemen and Remember, Your ''Always'' In the Darksight!
