There is a rumor going around at the moment that John Bradshaw Layfield will wrestle his last match at the Great American Bash. It is rumored that Layfield will put over Guerrero before leaving WWE. There are those however who believe that WWE will do nothing and just sweep the incident under the rug.
I will die a happy man if this happens. If only this would've happened months ago!

It's about time. The guy just isn't good and will never be above tag team wrestling. Last night showed how desperate Bradshaw and the writers are to make people give a crap.

Honestly it wouldn't sadden me to see him go. While his character can be interesting at times, him leaving won't be a huge blow to the WWE. Hadn't it been for his push, Booker could have probably been the one feuding with Eddie for the belt right now rather than going for the US title. Bradshaw has brought a lot of bad press to the company so it wouldn't surprise me to see him gone. He's too desperate to get heat which causes him to go so far. Had he been capable of being a main eventer he wouldn't have to. If this does happen, I'll be one of the first singing "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, GOODBYE!"

i wont like this...

damn right you read that right ^^!

If hes released, then the 2 month main-event push was for NOTHING! I would have him lose at GAB, and feud with the US title. Thats where he really belongs.

And why would he be fired? He made the best excuse saying the nazi thing is playing a character. WWE is just a like a tv show...with acting, stunts, blood, bombs blowing up(ok maybe not that), etc. Its just like putting one of those masks on Anthony Hopkins because he played a cannibal in the Hannibal movies

The guy doesnt deserve his push so if he gets fired I will be extremly happy because it will clear up room for other guys that deserve a push like RVD & Booker T

I am glad that he has been fired. IMO he has never shown anything special in his time in the WWE. He is only good if he has a tag team partner, but when he was a singles competitor he sucked. And what he did just to get heat showed that he will not hesitate to something that would cause some serious **** for not only himself, but the WWE. So IMO he deserves what he gets because what he did was disrespectful, and got the WWE some bad publicity.

In a strange way I'm splited over the the possible news of Bradshaw's departure. Even though for the past three months he has bored the crap out of me, like someone said it would be two/three months wasted. Bradshaw has bad wrestling skills and bad mic skills but I've seen far,far worse. I've seen the push as grooming him for the U.S Title moreso than the WWE Title. I consider the feud Bradshaw is having with Eddie as someone Eddie can wrestle to stay warm until Kurt Angle returns and someone that Bradshaw can learn from before feud with another person. Despite what Bradshaw did overseas and despite how he wrestles, I'll consider his departure as a waste and the WWE telling me that they are willing to waste months to push someone hard and then release them without thinking about the possiblities to use him.

I can't believe hardly anybody here likes him! However, since I used to be a Goldberg fan, I'll shut up now.

If and when JBL leaves, who do you think should get a push as a heel, besides Booker T. Because right now, the only big heel is Booker T.

Probably Mordecai, Rene Dupree or the Dudleys.

Okay, I am gonna say this one time and I am not joking. What is the big deal anyway. Yeah, the guy made some remark that he probably shouldn't have, but to lose his job over it is ridiculous. I do not agree with his push, and felt it was too fast, too soon. But for JBL to lose his job over this is stupid. The guy said something to get heat from the fans, and it was the wrong thing to say. Big deal. Fine him or make him job, but don't fire him because of it.

Why does everyone think he's losing his job?? Maybe he decided to quit. All that was said (unless I read it wrong) was that he might be wrestling his last match at GAB.

Maybe he thinks its time to step out of the spotlight.
