Karo vs Yoshida is cancelled due to Karo throwing out his back. Man, looking at pics from Karo at the weigh-ins that dude was not in fighting shape at all. Arms in particular looked skinny as hell, whether or not that's a factor we'll likely never know but this sucks. I imagine MacDonald vs Lambert or Pellegrino vs Tavares will get bumped to the main card.

Calling an MMA a little bitch is kind of prickish, this guy calls him on being a prick, and gets warned for it. Epitaph points out what's true, that our warning system is bullshit that we rarely use unless people just piss us off.

As for adding to the actual discussion, I'm not sure if you noticed Duff, but 99% of this piece of shit site is adding nothing to any discussion of any sort. So this is an intresting instance to bring it up.

If you have seen anything from him in the past he really is a whiner. The last thing I want to see on what I feel is an awesome fight card, is Karo getting beat and complaining again.

The only fight I want to see him in next it Nate Diaz. They need to fight badly.

Lets move on to talking about the far far more important people in the fight. Will I pick winners in the two fights im going to talk about for a second? Nope.

Franklin vs. Hamill: Awesome potential for just about anything to happen in this fight. ANYWHERE this fight goes is going to probably be a gang war with hands feet and etc.

We already know who has what strong points. I find it interesting they are freinds and used to train together when Rich needed some wrestling practice BEFORE Matt was trying for MMA. I think we will have a very pretty war.


Liddel vs. Evans: WAR. Fists and legs slamming into heads chest and legs all over. I would be suprised to not see both of these men bleeding at the end of this. Someone could drop or it could go the distance and be a very pretty pretty war. I cant really see this fight not being one of the best face smashers we have seen in awhile UNLESS Rashad takes a hit and realises he cant hang and takes it to the ground....well...tries.

Yes, i’m watching. Technically PPV at home.

The main should be really interesting. Chuck will rely on his usual strategy so it will be interesting to see if Rashad decides to stand with him, or decides to go to the ground. Chuck excels with guys like Rashad, and usually we get a 1st round KO.

Franklin's stepping up to light-heavy but I've got him down as the underdog. Matt Hamill is one of the most improved guys involved in MMA, and of the year, Franklin, meanwhile, looks like a shot fighter and I'll be really surprised to see him get a victory, despite his greater experience advantage.

Henderson vs. Palhares is one I'm really looking forward to. We know what to expect with Hendo. Palhares is one of a number of awesome BJJ specialists who've come into UFC this year who are going to take ground fighting to the next level. Palhares could cause all sorts of problems for Hendo on the deck, so I imagine the American will look to keep this standing. This should be a great tactical battle.


Marquardt vs. Kampmann is a good, evenly-matched fight. Marquardt has fought a better calibre of fighters but Kampmann comes into this with a great record and he's looked very impressive in most of his UFC fights. The middleweight division is desperately weak at the moment, so this could be an unofficial eliminator to determine the next opponent for the winner of Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote (no prizes for guessing who's winning that one).

So, not the most exciting of line-ups but the main should be fun and there's enough potentially good fights underneath to make this a show worth watching.

Well, from what I saw of the Franklin fight (my ppv decided to fucking ko me :S) so i didn’t see the actual KO. It was mostly a hard fight to call. Hamil was doing the most damage. Caused Franklin’s face to look like a cunt iirc, whilst Franklin was hitting more.

As for Rashad/Chuck. Holy Shit. They didn’t really each other tbh. They took there chances. But rash came out of nowhere with his KO shot. I honestly thought chuck was fucking dead

I kinda feel like Rashad will be the next UFC light heavy champion.

Forest needs to learn how to not get hit better before this fight happens.
