Eric: First off, I'd like to personally thank Gravedigger. I'd like to thank him for two things. The first one would be to make this opportunity happen. I know that after we were defeated by WWE in the ratings back a few years ago, that I've learned what I did wrong. I've learned what happened that caused us to lose. And I have to thank Gravedigger for who he chose to wrestle for UWF and looking at Nitro's roster, I'd say we got the greatest roster in UWF. I mean look who we have! Chris Benoit, Kane, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Scott Steiner, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, John Cena, THE ROCK, and my personal favorite...STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!

(The crowd cheers like crazy when they hear The Rock and Stone Cold's names mentioned.)

Eric: Yes yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm glad to have those two men under my watch...or for Austin, it's more like under my thumb. Austin, you might have been the Co-General Manager of RAW with me and ended up being the Sheriff of RAW, but that was then and this is now. NOW, you are under my control and there's nothing you can do about it! I dare yo--

(Eric is interrupted when the glass breaks and out walks the Texas Rattlesnake. The crowd goes ape wild when they see Austin walking down the ramp. He walks up the steps, his eyes on Eric Bischoff the entire time. Eric's eyes are wide as Stone Cold charges right up to Eric...and walks right by him to the side of the ring and asks for a mic. Austin gets up in Bischoff's face after being handed a mic.)

Austin: You think you can control Stone Cold Steve Austin??

(The crowd yells "what" every time Austin finishes a sentence. Eric starts to answer Austin but is interrupted.)

Austin: I said do you think you can control Stone Cold Steve Austin??

(Eric is interrupted again before he can answer.)

Austin: You lost your voice? You got larangitis? You're yellow--WHAT?

(Eric suddenly gets mad and backs up a step.)

Eric: Wait a minute. You listen here, Austin. I run the show here! I hold your job in my hands. You'll do what I say and you address me as Mr. Bischoff. Don't you ever embarrass me out here like that again, you hear me?

Austin: WHAT?

Eric: SHUT UP!

Steve Austin vs. Jamie Noble
(The crowd starts chanting "what" over and over as does Austin. Finally he stops and Eric's face is red. Suddenly, Jamie Noble and a referee walk down the ramp without being introduced or without Austin knowing about it. Eric regains his composure and smiles in an evil way.)

Eric: Austin, you know what? I know you have a match tonight, and I also know that you'll lose tonight.

(Austin starts laughing really loud as Jamie and the ref slowly and carefully climb into the ring.)

Austin: You think Stone Cold Steve Austin will lose to that redneck piece of trash, Jamie Noble??

(Jamie starts to roll up Stone Cold when Austin speaks again and Noble freezes.)

Austin: Do you think Austin is stupid?? Do you think he can't smell that sumbitch's bad breath a mile away? He's standing right behind me.

(Noble is shocked as Austin turns around. Noble starts to do something when Austin kicks him in the gut. Before Austin can hit a stunner, he is low blowed from behind by Bischoff. Noble quickly rolls up Austin. He uses the ropes for leverage as Eric forces the ref to do a fast count. Noble pins Austin!!! The crowd goes insane booing and throwing things into the ring as Bishoff and Noble quickly climb out of the ring and run up the ramp. The referee, however, doesn't get out quick enough as Austin grabs him by the shoulder. The crowd marks out as Austin spins him around and gives him the stunner. Austin then climbs out of the ring and runs up the ramp after Noble and Bishoff who run backstage and into a waiting car.)
Winner: Jamie Noble (by pinfall/interference)

(The announcers talk about tonight's brackets...and a quick recap of Austin-Noble after the show comes back from commercial.)

Shelton Benjamin vs. Danny Basham
(This was a pretty good technical match and after his recent wins over Triple H in WWE, Benjamin was the expected winner but Danny Basham surprised everyone when he defeated Shelton after a sit-out powerbomb. Danny advances to the second round of the Nitro title tournament.)
Winner: Danny Basham (by pinfall)

Chris Benoit vs. Kane
(Two former champions facing each other, with Kane being the one with the advantage due to his size and power. Benoit, however, did not let that affect him as he tore apart the Big Red Machine with multiple suplexes and submission holds. Finally, Kane regained control of the match but as he went for a chokeslam, Benoit knocked him down and the two landed with Benoit on top and Kane in a Crippler Crossface. Kane quickly tapped, causing Benoit to advance.)
Winner: Chris Benoit (by submission)

Kurt Angle vs. Johnny Stamboli
(This match turned out to be the second big shocker of the night as Eric Bischoff surprised everyone by not being gone like they thought he was. Kurt Angle was just as surprised when Eric got on the mic.)

Eric: I guess I forgot to mention that this match isn't a normal match. It's a NO DISQUALIFICATION match!!

(Kurt is pissed and he turns around to take his frustration out on Stamboli when he receives a chair shot from "The Bull". Kurt is knocked out and Johnny just places a foot on his chest as the referee counts to three.

The announcers are confused now, wondering why both Austin and Angle were screwed out of their matches by Eric Bischoff.)
Winner: Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli (by pinfall)

Test vs. Sean O'Haire
(Test and Sean O'Haire wrestled a very physical match-up with both men showing off their power, constantly trying to one-up the other in power moves. Unfortunately, for Sean O'Haire, Test's Test Drive was too powerful for Sean as he couldn't kick out. Test advances to the second round.)
Winner: Test (by pinfall)

A-Train vs. Eddie Guerrero
(This match was a see-saw matchup with both men gaining the advantage throughout the match. A-Train would keep the advantage with his power moves, while Eddie would take it back with his quickness. However, due to the ringside distraction by Chavo, Eddie soon fell victim to the Derailer causing A-Train to advance to the second round.)
Winner: A-Train (by pinfall)

Hurricane vs. Garrison Cade
(Both men amazed the crowd with their moves and easily worked the crowd in their favor throughout the match. In the end, Hurricane proved how devastating a Hurricane can truly be when a Shining Wizard put Cade down for the three count.)
Winner: Hurricane (by pinfall)

Tajiri vs. The Amazing Red
(In what could be seen as a match of the year candidate, Tajiri and The Amazing Red pulled out all the stops. Every second had the crowd on the edge of their seats, with both performers using every move they know to try and put the other down. The Amazing Red was finally able to find that one move when Tajiri fell victim to the Red Star Press.)
Winner: The Amazing Red (by pinfall)

Rene Dupree vs. Scott Steiner
(Scott Steiner's power could not overcome the French Phenom, even with the entire crowd chanting "USA USA USA" over and over. Scott Steiner fell after receiving Rene's finishing move....whatever that is. I don't know...)
Winner: Rene Dupree (by pinfall)

Chris Jericho vs. Michael Shane
(Two men with matching styles. In one ring for the Nitro Title. The match went back and forth with both men gaining the upper hand but in the end, Michael Shane advanced after a huge superkick to the jaw.)
Winner: Michael Shane (by pinfall)

Akio vs. Lance Storm
(This match was all Akio's match as Lance Storm showed off the ring rust he's accumulated in the past few months. Akio won the match with his finisher...which I don't know what that is. Hopefully someone can tell me.)
Winner: Akio (by pinfall)

Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair
(This match was a highly anticipated match, too, as two legends squared off for the right to advance to the second round of the tournament. Superkicks, Figure Fours, Flair chops, flying elbow drops, and WOOOS were heard all over the arena with Ric Flair finally coming out on top over Shawn as HBK tapped out to the infamous Figure Four leglock. Afterwards, the two men shook hands and held each other's arms up.)
Winner: Ric Flair (by pinfall)

John Cena vs. D-Von Dudley
(John Cena and D-Von had a back and forth battle with D-Von's experience allowing him to keep up with the young John Cena. But with the crowd backing John more than Cena, Cena was able to dominate most of the match when suddenly Eric Bischoff comes out YET AGAIN!! He gets on the mic.)

Eric: I seem to be constantly forgetting to tell you what kind of matches you guys are going to be in. This one is also no disqualification!

(D-Von climbs out of the ring and goes over to grab a chair as John Cena talks junk to Bischoff. He looks up at the big screen and sees D-Von sliding in with a chair. Cena quickly turns around as D-Von jumps at him with the chair. John Cena ducks and turns around as D-Von goes past him. D-Von turns around and is kicked in the gut by Cena. Cena grabs D-Von and looks up the ramp at Eric. Cena smiles and does the "You Can't See Me" taunt and then FUs D-Von for the victory. Eric is enraged as Cena's hand is lifted.)
Winner: John Cena (by pinfall)

Chavo Guerrero vs. Rodney Mack
(In one of the less exciting matches of the night, Chavo battles Rodney Mack for a spot in the next round of the tournament. Rodney Mack tries to hit the Black Out near the end of the match but Chavo denies it and hits a brain buster for the win.)
Winner: Chavo Guerrero (by pinfall)

Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy
(Yet another cruiserweight match is wrestled tonight as both participants wrestle their hearts out. Kidman, however, could not overcome Matt Hardy v.1 as the Twist of Fate ironically sealed his fate in the match.)
Winner: Matt Hardy (by pinfall)

The Rock vs. Chuck Palumbo
(In the main event, Chuck Palumbo stepped into the ring with The Great One. Both men got the upper hand during the match, although Chuck needed a little outside help from Stamboli. The referee eventually caught Palumbo being slipped a pair of knucks and the referee went to disqualify Palumbo when Bischoff's music hit AGAIN.)

Eric: Don't you people just love seeing me? Well too bad if you don't because this match is a no DQ match-up also. Referee, Palumbo is covering Rock right now, so I suggest you register the count or lose your job!!

(Reluctantly, the referee registers the three count and Palumbo defeats the Rock.)
Winner: Chuck Palumbo (by pinfall)

(The show goes off the air with Eric Bischoff smiling from ear to ear.)

Next Week on Nitro:

Next week, we will see the Second Round of the Nitro Title tournament:

Danny Basham vs. Chris Benoit
Johnny Stamboli vs. Test
A-Train vs. Hurricane
The Amazing Red vs. Rene Dupree
Michael Shane vs. Akio
Ric Flair vs. Jamie Noble
John Cena vs. Chuck Palumbo
Chavo Guerrero vs. Matt Hardy

Eric Bischoff will also be there with a huge announcement. And how will Stone Cold, The Rock, Kurt Angle, and John Cena react to Eric Bischoff interfering in their matches? We'll see John Cena wrestle in the second round of the tournament because he was able to overcome Eric's interference, but Stone Cold, The Rock, and Kurt Angle weren't able to recover and lost their shot at the title.

All this and much more on next week's UWF NITRO!!

[END]

You know the drill for the roster, PPV, and the first week's worth of shows...feedback if you want. If you're new to my shows, I'd really appreciate feedback.

Reminder: Week Two of RAW and NITRO will be up on Monday.

I am definatley new to your shows, it's different to all the other shows we have on WP. I'm honestly not sure what to mkae of it seeing as it's such a change from reality of Raw. You got a lot of matches on the card which was necessary I guess seeing as the tourney has just started but it did feel a little lacking in the "entertainment" value you get with backstage promos and the such like. One question? Where have the women gone? Seing as you had a lot of matches to get through I'm not gooing to critacise the match scripts because I think they will as he shows develop and there are less matches to take place. It's also had to keep track of peoples gimmicks, Like Danny Basham? Is he still gimmickless? Is Matt still V1 and face or heel? A little confusing for my likeing but once I get used to it I think I will start to like it more, but for now I am not feeling it. Sorry.

That's cool. I'm still learning how to put these shows together because I only did three (the same three you see here) on IOW and then had to stop until about now.

Yes, as of now there are going to be tournaments until the PPV. The tournaments leading up to the second PPV will be big tournaments. There will be tournaments after the second PPV, too, but those tournaments will be smaller. I'm really trying to establish champions at this point in time and tournaments are my favorite part of wrestling. As for women, they'll start showing up in a couple of weeks.

After the champions are established, more angles will be developed and you'll understand what type of characters/gimmicks these people have, but basically everyone is the same as they were in WWE. BUT I might decide to change them a little bit to make them better. In a couple of weeks, you'll start to understand and things will get less hectic and there will be less matches. A LOT less.

I remember this show from IOW and I liked the Austin/Bisch thing. When people do shows like this they have to establish what the show is about. I did show's like this once on IOW and I found it hard to establish mine but the way GD is going about it I think he can establish what he wants the show to be.

The randomness of the world title tournament is what's going to make things really wild. I won't say which one, but one of the two world title tournaments has some surprise winners, but like I said it's a random winner.

Winners are picked for each match and then I go back and decide either to just have the match go on or have an angle going. When I saw Austin, Rock, and Angle lost, I decided to build an angle plus I just threw Cena in there.
