The commentators update us on UWF Genesis and what's going to happen tonight...the first round of the RAW World title tournament. "No Chance" hits the speakers and the crowd starts booing as Vince McMahon walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring. He is handed a microphone and looks around with a big smile on his face.)

Vince: Now, you all might be wondering why I'm smiling tonight.

(An "*******" chant gets started up and Vince shakes his head, still smiling.)

Vince: Even you fans can't ruin my mood tonight. As I was saying, you might be wondering why I'm smiling. I mean last week at UWF Genesis, Gravedigger basically forced me to fire my son-in-law HHH. Well, the thing is, I'm actually happy about it. He was too much of a handful. He would always think the world revolved around him and that he should get the best matches and all the title shots. He held people down, well see "TRIPS", that ain't gonna happen no more because you were kicked out of UWF. You'll be arrested if you're around the arena. And even if you manage to make it past the cops and security for the arena, I've got someone watching my back. Someone who will guarantee that you don't get your hands on me. Even though, I'm sure you're not stupid enough to try to get in here, I'm not taking any chances. Now my new bodyguard is ---.

(Goldberg's music hits and the crowd goes insane thinking he's here to take out Vince. The sparks and fireworks spray up from the ramp and Goldberg bounces through growling and roaring at the fans. He slowly makes his way down the ramp with a scowl on his face. He rolls into the ring and walks right up to Vince and they stand face-to-face. Goldberg smiles as he steps back and extends his hand. The crowd boos as Vince takes his hand and they both shake.)

Vince: Now, tonight is a new beginning for the former WWF superstars. Tonight, we start a World Title tournament for the RAW world title. Over on Nitro, they're doing the same thing. I know what they're doing because someone is relaying me their plans right now, but I won't spoil anything. They think they have the best post-tournament plans out there, well they don't! A recent poll was taken on UWF.com about a tag team tournament and what we've decided to do is that once this world title tournament is over, we're going to put all 32 Superstars' names in a hat and the first 16 drawn out will be elligible for the tournament, while the rest will go for the IC title or a special title that we bring in later on. But that's all later on. Tonight, the RAW World Title tournament begins. Names were drawn as to who would face who. Goldberg is in the tournament and even though his match wasn't scheduled to take place until later on in the night, I'm going to go ahead and bump his up to being the first match. BUT, he'll still face the same winner of a match later on. It's just that due to who his opponent is...we as MIGHT AS WELL get it over with NOW. Goldberg, in the first RAW title tournament match, will face...ULTIMO DRAGON!!

(The crowd cheers as Ultimo's music hits and he walks down the ramp...while slipping. Ultimo climbs into the ring and before he can even take off his cape, Goldberg spears him into the mat. Goldberg wastes no time on his opponent as he quickly picks Ultimo up and Jackhammers him to the mat just as the referee slides into the ring. Goldberg covers Ultimo and the referee registers the win. Goldberg's music hits and he jumps up, growling at the fans. Vince, still in the ring, laughs loudly as the crowd boos Vince and Goldberg. They both climb out of the ring and walk up the ramp and into the back area.

Lillian Garcia is in the ring and announces the entire tournament brackets except for Goldberg-Ultimo. Instead, she just mentions that Goldberg won.)

*Commercial Break*

(When the show returns from break, we start up with our first "official" match.)

Spike Dudley vs. Jeff Jarrett
(Spike comes out first to a big pop and then Jeff Jarrett comes out to a mixed reaction.

The action goes back and forth with both men hitting their trademark moves such as Spike's chest stomp from the top rope and Jeff's strut. Jarret tried to hit the stroke but Spike's small frame and quickness allowed him to squirm out of Jarrett's grasp and go for the Dudley Dog. Jarrett shoved Spike out of the ring where he landed on the outside. Spike eventually climbed back in and Jarrett took back control of the match. The ending saw Jarrett place Spike on the top turnbuckle and then climb up there for a Stroke off of the middle rope. Spike denied him this by squirming around, kicking off the top turnbuckle and nailing a Dudley Dog from the top rope on Jarrett. Spike landed on Jarrett and the referee registered the three count, allowing Spike to advance to the second round of the tournament.)
Winner: Spike Dudley (by pinfall)

Charlie Haas vs. Edge
(This match was a really bad outing for Edge because even though he hung in there, his ring rust was really obvious from being out all those months. Being an amateur wrestler, Charlie took advantage of Edge's ring rust and eventually won the match with his dreaded Haas of Pain. Haas advances onto the second round of the tournament.)
Winner: Charlie Haas (by submission)

Rob Van Dam vs. Big Show
(Despite giving away a ton of weight and height to Big Show, RVD held his own. He even made a few near-falls on the giant which infuriated him. Unfortunately, RVD wasn't able to capitalize on that anger and use it to his advantage as Big Show was just too much for Mr. Monday Night as Big Show pinned RVD after a massive Choke Slam. Big Show advances to the second round.)
Winner: Big Show (by pinfall)

Rico vs. Tommy Dreamer
(ECW chants rocked the building in this match-up, but they really didn't help the Innovator of Violence. Miss Jackie provided the much needed distraction for Rico to hit a flurry of martial arts kick and finished Dreamer off with a spinning heel kick to the temple. Rico advances.)
Winner: Rico (by pinfall)

Sakoda vs. The Undertaker
(This match will more than likely go down as Sakoda's worst match ever and one he will never forget. The Undertaker barely made any offense and instead just stood there, letting Sakoda try over and over to damage The Undertaker. Sakoda tried every move in his vast repertoire but nothing seemed to even rock The Undertaker. Then Sakoda made his ultimate mistake when he climbed onto the top rope. Undertaker quickly walked over to the corner and grabbed Sakoda by the throat and performed a devastating chokeslam all the way to the middle of the ring. To add insult to injury, Undertaker picked Sakoda up and stared at him for a few seconds before flipping him over and putting a little extra jump into a Tombstone to easily finish off his first round opponent. Undertaker advances to the second round.)
Winner: The Undertaker (by pinfall)

Booker T vs. Steven Richards
(This match was a really good match to watch. Booker T brought out the best in Steven in this match and nearly won on several occasions, mainly due to the interference of the lovely Victoria. Unfortunately, Steven proved to be a sucka as Booker T hit the scissors kick and covered him to advance to the second round.)
Winner: Booker T (by pinfall)

Rey Mysterio vs. Sylvain Grenier
(Rey Rey put on a good showing against the Frenchmen and had him beat with the 6-1-9 followed by a West Coast Pop but unfortunately, he forgot that the ref had been accidentally knocked out earlier in the match. Rey went over to wake the ref but as he went to turn around, he was rolled up from behind and Sylvain used the trunks to get the win. Sylvain advances to the second round.)
Winner: Sylvain Grenier (by pinfall)

Doug Basham vs. Mark Jindrak
(This was a pretty decent match-up with the crowd getting into it at times especially when Jindrak would use his power moves. The match ended with Jindrak hitting Mark of Greatness to advance to the second round of the tournament.)
Winner: Mark Jindrak (by pinfall)

Randy Orton vs. Nunzio
(Randy Orton came out to the ring to some serious heat while Nunzio got some decent amounts of ECW chants. Randy Orton acted ****y for most of the match but got serious when Nunzio started taking Randy Orton down with move after move and nearly got a three count on the Legend Killer. However, the RKO was too much for the former FBI member as Randy Orton stood perched on the turnbuckle, taunting the crowd claiming he was moving on towards the next round.)
Winner: Randy Orton (by pinfall)

AJ Styles vs. Low Ki
(This was a match everyone was waiting for after seeing their amazing matches in NWA-TNA. Low Ki unleashed a flurry of kicks on AJ while AJ amazed the crowd with his high-flying ability. After a while, AJ looks like he has it won when both men are on the turnbuckles. AJ has Low Ki set in position for a Styles Clash when Low Ki's legs wiggle free. He grabs AJ, turns and nails a Ki Krusher in the middle of the ring. AJ's leg is hooked and three slaps of the mat later, Low Ki advances on to the next round.)
Winner: Low Ki (by pinfall)

Hardcore Holly vs. Al Snow
(Heavy ECW chants, hardcore chants, and head chants rain down upon both men as they step into the ring to do battle. They shake hands before the match but the second the bell rang, they tore into each other like there was no tomorrow in the hopes of advancing onto the next round. However, Al Snow couldn't handle Hardcore Holly's power moves as HH proved why he was in the main event at WWE's Royal Rumble as he hits the Alabama Slam for the victory.)
Winner: Hardcore Holly (by pinfall)

Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Shannon Moore
(More ECW chants rained down on Bubba Ray as he entered the ring against Shannon Moore. The crowd's chanting and cheering on of Bubba Ray fueled his desire to win as he went on to advance to the second round of the tournament with a Bubba Bomb.)
Winner: Bubba Ray Dudley (by pinfall)

Rhyno vs. Christopher Daniels
(Knowing what The Fallen Angel was capable of, everyone thought that Christopher Daniels would have this match won, but the ECW chants once more played a factor as the Man Beast gored a hole through Daniels to advance. Standing at the top of the ramp at the end of the match was GOLDBERG. Apparently, Goldberg will face Rhyno in the next round. The two men had a stare down before Goldberg finally walked to the back.)
Winner: Rhyno (by pinfall)

Christian vs. Funaki
(Smackdown's Numba One Announcer had a couple of close two-counts but the Creepy Little Bastard Christian hit an Unprettier after distracting the referee long enough to hit a low blow. Christian then pinned Funaki to advance.)
Winner: Christian (by pinfall)

Jerry Lynn vs. Batista
(This match was the shocker of the night as everyone expected Batista to totally dominate The New F'N show. Just as Batista was setting Jerry up for his powerbomb finisher, Jerry managed to wiggle over Batista's head and performed a Sunset Flip on the monster. Everyone, especially Jerry was shocked when Batista couldn't kick out!)
Winner: Jerry Lynn (by pinfall)

(The show then went off the air.)

Next week on RAW we will see the Second Round of the RAW title tournament:
Spike Dudley vs. Charlie Haas
Big Show vs. Rico
The Undertaker vs. Booker T
Sylvain Grenier vs. Mark Jindrak
Randy Orton vs. Low Ki
Hardcore Holly vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
Goldberg vs. Rhyno
Christian vs. Jerry Lynn

Goldberg has made an impact two weeks in a row now. Will the third time be a charm? Or will the Gore defeat the Spear? Finally, we will also hear an announcement from Vince McMahon concerning the Tag Team Tournament and witness the drawing of the 16 wrestlers to participate and who will team with who.

All this and much more on next week's UWF RAW!!

[END]

Again, give feedback this time around, too, if you want. Week Two is when I'd really like some feedback from you guys. Wouldn't hurt this time around, but since most of you have read them before, you might have just skimmed them to refresh your memories.

Pretty much the same as what I wrote for Nitro, check that out for my opinions.
