Discussing the main card here gents

Maia V MacDonald - W/L - When? - Overall thoughts?

Huerta V Florian - W/L - When? - Overall thoughts?

Lessner V Herring - W/L - When? - Overall thoughts?

GSP V Fitch - W/L - When? - Overall thoughts?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1) I like MacDonald because he is called THE ATHLETE and almost killed Chris Leben dead - I say Mac R2 RNC

2) I hate Huerta because he is both pretty and 843275875 times better at fighting than I ever be. But He is going to kill Kenny. Which is sad since I lubz Kenneth. - Huerta R3 Strikes

3) BROCK needs this win more than ever to prove he is not a bust. Herring has done little in the UFC to prove he isnt a waste IMO. Brock needs to stay on his feet and break The Crazy Horse. I just hope Brock doesnt see Herring's entrance and think he facing Taker again and try to F5 him. - LESSNER R1 - DEATH

4) GSP v FITCH - WOW! - I am thinking about ordering this fight and watching it from my house in my bed room with the lights off and a bottle of lube next to me. HOLY FUCK HELL WHAT A DREAM MATCH. I really want GSP to win and be one of the best lb for lb guys on URF. But I can see Fitch stealing this easy...Ill say GSP R4 - TKO

Im already buying this show because 1. I couldnt get tickets and 2. Jon Fitch is my boi and dont miss his fights. Anyways on to predictions.

Maia V MacDonald - While Maia is a good fighter and has prooven so in the past, I see MacDonald as all around better imo. MacDonald Round 3 Submission.

Huerta V Florian - Roger Huerta, The Minnesotan and amazing fighter. Again while Florian is very good and has prooven so before but I above I see Huerta as the better fighter. Id give Huerta the stand up edge and say its even on the ground. That said Ive got Huerta winning via Split Decision.

Lesnar V Herring - Lesnar has the edge standing up and on the ground. Lesnar will kill the overrated Herring and will do it quickly. Lesnar via Round 1 TKO.

GSP V Fitch - My boi finally gets what he deserves after God knows how many wins since coming in during 2005. I know this will be great and will be cheering Fitch 100%. Both are good stand up and on the ground. This will be a fun fun match up that I cant wait for. While its a long shot I've got Fitch winning Split Decision to become the NEW UFC Welterweight Champion.

I'm seriously looking forward to this show. I don’t think I've been this hyped for a UFC/MMA show in a while either. There are three really intriguing fights on this show, 2 of which could possibly wind up being FOTY contenders, 1 of which I can really see wind up going the distance.

Heavyweight bout:
Brock Lesnar vs. Heath Herring
The more I think about this, the more I see Lesnar looking at the lights. Herring's had fights with some of the best in the world, whilst Lesnar has had 2 professional fights. To be honest, Herring is a lot more dangerous than Mir. Brock of course would've been a lot safer fighting Coleman. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brock gassing after exploding out of the corner, and Herring catching Lesnar for the KO. Leaves you wondering (because we know Lesnar needs the win, because that'd make him a failed project right?) will UFC release him and admit defeat, or will they feed him cans like Eddie Sanchez (which I'm surprised they didn’t do in the first place)

Lightweight bout:
Kenny Florian vs. Roger Huerta
This could very well wind up being the FOTN. I despise the Ken-Flo nickname, but Huerta has looked massively impressive over the past year or so. Anyway, it should be an amazing scrap and I hope it goes the distance.

Welterweight Championship bout:
GSP vs. Jon Fitch
As much as I like Jon Fitch, I really can't see him troubling GSP at all. Over the last few fights Pierre has taken it to another level. Sure, Fitch may be able to go the distance, especially if Pierre hasn’t taken Fitch as a threat seriously. I just really can't picture Fitch beating the current champ.

Maia V MacDonald - The two people who have commented here on this fight have said MacDonald by Submission, what the hell? Maia is one of MMAs best grapplers. I know this is MMA not a grappling tournament but I really don't see Maia being submitted, if Macdonald wins it'll most likely be a TKO or Decision. Maia, submission, Rd 2.

Huerta V Florian - Hard fight to call, I'll go with Kenny Florian just to go against everyone else's choice. Ken-flo, TKO, Rd 3.

Lesnar V Herring - Lesnar has two MMA fights and neither have gone passed the first round, he's explosive sure but if Herring can survive a 10 minute beat down from Fedor I don't think Lesnar could do much to him, I see Lesnar dominating at first, then gassing, laying on Herring for the rest of round 1 then Herring taking over the next two rounds to get himself a pretty boring decision. Herring, decision.

GSP V Fitch - I see this looking like the Koscheck fight with GSP dominating his opponent by out wrestling him then finishing him in the 4th or 5th. GSP, TKO, Rd 4.

way to build some conversation Supes.

Alright. I am actually scared to choose any winner for most of the main fights. Well....Except broke hopefully winning via murder.

The other two main fights are just to awesome and have great fighters on each side. I just cant handle trying to pick one and then feeling the defeat. I can honestly tell you that no matter how long or short either of those two fights are, they will be epic and destructive.

I want to see these fights and I wouldnt mind seeing them over and over again for an entire day straight. I expect to see blood. I expect to see more blood. and I expect to see someone bleeding.

I therefor declare myself the winner as long as someone bleeds.

As much as this card is going to be awesome it really is going to be the defining moment for MMA BROCK.

he has to get this win. as for GSP he is consider one of the best in the world at any weight for a reason its GUNNO be awesome to see that fight.

Roger is too cute to be a fighter I want him to go model somewhere. JEALOUS!

How about some discussion on this...

I told you guys there was no way in hell Maia was getting submitted against Macdonald, but man that was a good fight, fight of the night easily for me.

Ken-Flo is the man, I knew he'd win even if he had to be a poor mans Machida to do it.

Manny got KTFO, lols~!

Cheick Kongo strawbing Rogan was the lol of the night.

Brock looked good, really good, however there are still some holes in his game and I don't see him beating a Nog, Werdum or maybe even Gonzaga but he'd probably do well against someone like Cheick Kongo or Eddie Sanchez.

Jon Fitch is the 3rd toughest fighter ever, behind Big Nog & Sakuraba.

Fitch may be tough, but St. Pierre dominated last night.

Brock looked way better last night than he did against Mir. However, he was also fighting a lesser figher than Mir.

Thats debatable.

I'm sure it is debateable. I find Frank to be a better fighter than Heath.

What Brock did this Saturday was show the world that all that happened against Mir was "He got caught" In all reality he could have just knocked Heath into another dimension but he wanted to OUT work the CrazyHorse.

I ask you did Brock even looked winded after 15 minutes?

So in the HEAVY's

Mir should face NOG
Cheik should face Brock

with the winner's of each being the fighter after that.

Also GSP > 165 et al?

I'd say Frank was a much better submission fighter but Heaths overall a better fighter and I'd bet against Mir in a fight between the two, Heath is bigger, stronger and has more KO power than Mir, Mir just has a really good ground game.

Heaths only been KO'd once and that was by a KO artist in Mirko Cro Cop, heck it wasn't even a real KO Herring took a liver shot then just curled up into a ball and let Mirko hit him till the referee stopped it. Fedor gave Herring a bigger beating(in Herrings prime too) and not even that stopped Heath. I don't think Brock could have won that by TKO easily and I think Brock knew that so Brock conserved his energy out wrestled Heath and took his shots instead of going crazy like he did with Mir, smart fight on Brocks part.

So in the HEAVY's

Mir should face NOG
Cheik should face Brock

This isn't really fair on Fabricio Werdum is it? But I'd love to see Brock vs. Nog, in a fight that would probably look like Nog vs. Sapp.

Werdum is a fair point. Mir HAS to have the next fight against someone and with Nog still injured (I think) it has to be someone.

Mir vs WERDUM with Brock and Cheik would work.

Nog isn't injured(as far as I know) him and Mir are coaches for the next TUF season and will fight early next year.

OH geez I forgot all about that...

So wow we have an effing year before the Heavy's will mean anything (like they mean something now).

So we have Cheik, Brock, and WERDUM.

Who ya got?
