Canadian Championship Match
Sky Ryder vs. Frank
In WPW there have been many interesting characters, Crazy Camel Face, The Dream. But Frank “The American Ninja: is definitely in a category of his own. Considered a laughing-stock, he has proved himself to be nothing of the kin by remaining undefeated on WPW Live and only losing his undefeated streak to a rather annoyed Jamie Parker. In that streak he has collected one interesting victory, over Sky Ryder. Our Canadian champion therefore has to defend his title against this surprisingly unstoppable force. Will Frank prove his dominance or can Sky, a very talented superstar in his own rights, be able to shake off his embarrassment and assert himself as the dominant man in Canada in the first ever title defence for WPW’s newest title?

How (Pinfall, Submission, etc):
Gunnar Brian Vs. Jess Adams
Gunnar Brian is unscrupulous at best. He is a man who last week attacked Jess Adams to cancel the first Women’s match on Tuesday Night Turmoil. He claimed it was a pre-emptive strike against Jess Adams who blames him for her husband’s departure from WPW Television. He has even gone so far as to book this, a match where he will fight Jess Adams to simply rid himself of her. Or is it revenge on Mike Adams, someone he blames for stopping him winning the Sell Your Soul match? How will Gunnar, with the superior weight and strength advantage, stop himself from going too far? Or won’t he stop?

How (Pinfall, Submission, etc):
3 Vs 3 Match
Smike & The Fallen Vs. Spaz, Nick Comoroto & Blade LaVigne
[FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']In homage to many different federations aiming to create the greatest stars for tomorrow, Carlos has hit out on another idea. A Round-Robin Tournament involving a series of Florida State-Level contenders. Each will compete on their own in a series of matches between now and ReActivation where the two best will fight for the Florida state title. We start this opportunity at Payback where six of the eight men will face off in a 3 vs. 3 tag team debacle. Smike and The Fallen (Forsaken & Ryuu) will take on the interesting team of Spaz, Nick Comoroto and Blade LaVigne. Some might see this as a little too weighted, but upon closer inspection, ti is a fight that is possibly the most even Tag Team Debacle ever. Which individuals are going to talk away with a slight numerical advantage over their rivals? Let’s not forget that this Tournament is an individual game, so can these teams survive one another or wil they self-destruct?
Winners:
How (Pinfall, Submission, etc):
The Innovators of Wrestling Vs. Extreme Airborn
At Redemption Justin Dreamer and Jeremiah Ranks faced off for the chance to win the WPW Tag Team titles. Everything seemed fair until the appearance of Chris Cage who cost Dreamer the chance, gaining himself a partner and setting The “Innovators of Wrestling” on a destiny-riddled ride! But their efforts of suppression and cheating also caused them to irk the ire of Mike Corral, whom Cage was facing. Eventually Dreamer and Corral found solace in one another and created their own team which interfered in The IOW’s title match (Not the IOW Title Match note!) where they pulled Jeremiah Ranks away and allowed the Karvers the Victory. Now The IOW is pissed and is wanting revenge, watch as technical skill meets high flying skill and watch the explosions that ensue in this match proving the depth of the WPW Tag Team Division.
Winners:
How (Pinfall, Submission, etc):
Jamie Parker Vs. Mykal Adams
Jamie Parker and Mykal Adams are by far no strangers to one another. A year ago exactly, Mykal was a part of a Group Called “The Lady-Killerz” (Or Ladykillers, Lady Killers, and variations thereupon) and Jamie Parker was in the highly successful J&J team with Jason Bennett. They feuded over the ttle until the prowess of J&J won over Mykal’s partner, Brock Goodman who then put him through several glass panes. Returning, Mykal Adams has been attempting to find his niche again, often seen saving some superstars from a pounding and once butting heads with Parker. Last week, possibly without thinking, Mykal saved Frank the American Ninja from a beating. Parker however, had had enough. He assaulted Mykal, breaking his nose, not like the usual collected, intelligent Parker we know. Perhaps this shows his frustration at Mykal’s constant interference, or the Main Event match he felt he won. Either way, Parker and Mykal Adams are meeting for the first time in singles competition in 2008, and there’s hell to pay

Tag Team Championship Match
Karver inc. Vs. The One & Martin Cameron
The Tag Titles in recent months has been a melting pot of talent. The tag champions have often been singles competitors banding together for their common goals, ro old friend and allies relying on their knowledge of one another. The best example of the latter would be the Karvers, Father and Son. Michael and Salvador won the titles off David Nicolls and Smike Back at the BFIA and have kept it ever since, defeating Martin Cameron & Gunnar Brian, The Innovators of Wrestling. However recently after their attack on The One, they have garnered boos from the Audience. This week they pay the fateful price for that attack as They defend the title against what may be the most powerful Tag Team ever assembled. The One & Martin Cameron. Can the Karvers survive this hurricane brought unto themselves in the aftermath of Redemption? Can Cameron survive and handle the problems with being a Dual Champion, in the same vein as Jamie Parker and JMC who both crumbled in their first title defence after?
Winners:
How (Pinfall, Submission, etc):
Dan Murph Vs. Scorch
Dan Murph is the man breathing creepily down the WPW Champions neck, thanks to his Sell Your Soul Briefcase, giving him access to one WPW title fight anytime he so chooses. This, as you might expect is keeping JMC in fear. But the champion has found a way to somewhat distract Dan. JMC has set his new ally, Scorch, onto the Next possible World champion in an attempt to distract him. Currently Scorch is on a losing streak, but is definitely no less venomous, something Dan should watch out for. Dan will also be going into this match with one aim in mind, to defeat a former WPW Champion, essentially to convince the world he belongs in the list of Names including his rivals and The One. So whose wish shall be granted? Will scorch be out to injure Dan like he attempted after Redemption, something that would please JMC very much, ridding him of the Murph pest once and for all? Can Scorch gather a victory for the first time in all of 2008? Or is Dan using this as a stepping stone on his way to JMC and, eventually, the pinnacle of WPW?
Winner:
How (Pinfall, Submission, etc):
WPW Championship Match
James Moriarty Cassius Vs. David Nicolls
This battle is possibly the most interesting of all WPW Main Events in its long history. Often great masterpieces have been described as similar men doing fiery battle such as JMC Vs. 2 or The One Vs. Scorch. This however is an interesting exception to this rule. While JMC considers himself the most intelligent man in WPW, using his brain and planning to pull victories from stronger and better opponents, David Nicolls might have an advantage over The champion. He is an erratic man at best, due to his amusing nature and severe concussions which seem to string along like a daisy chain. Could this be the edge that no one has ever had over JMC, been so easy to play that they have become hard to read? Can JMC focus with the possibility that even if he survives, he could have Dan on his back in seconds? Or might Dan cash it in on Nicolls? The stakes could never be higher for either Cassius or Nicolls as they perform a fifth match to prove their superiority, with the score tied two apiece, the winner will get everything! And the loser, nothing.
