Post Lockdown show here. I felt I'd go through it as I watch - yeah, watching TNA two weeks in a row, I know. Won't be next week - but I may as well keep it up.

Joe starts out the show. Like his newish theme - sure I haven't heard it before, somehow. Joe thanks the fans. Steiner out. Steiner has hilarious promo planned out. Calls Joe fat and what not. As Steiner keeps challenging for Sacrifice, Angle comes out. They're really in a hurry, it's painfully clear, innit? They don't really pose to the crowd properly. (Angle told Steiner that the most notable point lately in his career is beating the Road Warriors in '75. Heh.) It's not too hurried, though, at least for now - I'm enjoying it overall, though it's a little rushed. Hilarious was having Petey Williams act shocked to get Steiner's X-Division title shot - the case read '4 Petey' on it in tape. Cut to.. Cage/Rhino promo. Cage/Rhino talk about how they could be a tag team, or whatever. Dudleys have a confrontation. Second confrontation.. in a row? Yoiks. Each seem to be coming over well - though hearing them constantly talk about 'ECW', 'WWF', 'WCW'.. just irritating. Dudleys have backup - Cage and Rhino go down to.. Storm, Kip James, Dudleys and some other guy I couldn't really make out. Ad break. (15 minutes in.)

Jay Lethal's promoing into the women's room. Calling Johnny Devine the 'Repo Man'. Classic. Really pushing this Sonjay-Val thing, huh? Yeah, it's not particularly rivetting. Though, seeing So Cal Val and Dutt come out of the women's bathroom together acting innocent *was* worth a laugh. Borash was more believable imo than Dutt. Dutt is terrible. They're promoing about his up and coming match. Nascar guy in commentary. Lethal/Devine match. Devine's really.. not changed since he was with Shelley, has he? Really solid match here. Very, very physical match for X-Division - there was no real usual ridiculous fanfare like there tends to be, just solid wrestling for the better part. Petey Williams comes out, begins beating up Lethal --adbreak.

They give a little of the ad break stuff - he did a tornado DDT onto the FOF briefcase. He beats his head into the briefcase quite a few times - it actually looked quite good, to be honest. Petey Williams cashes in his FOF case straight away - he lifts the KO'd Black Machismo for a Canadian Destroyer. Wins the X-Div belt. LAX promo. It was.. foreign. Matt Morgan comes out, gets a microphone. I'm frightened. But it's okay - he seems somewhat articulate. Everyone keeps saying 'sacrifice'. Okay, we get it. Sacrifice is the next promo. Understood. He has the intensity - but the crowd support isn't with him when he's actually talking. Up next, tag match! Ad break.

Samoa Joe is backstage, hyping up his belt. He used the word 'sacrifice'. That was kinda.. yeah. Ugh. Kevin Nash is standing behind him as he promos. I'm trying to work out if he's supposed to be there, it's not very obvious - but eventually, he leaves with.. yup, supposed to be there. Awesome. LAX-Young (not super)/Kaz-Tomko/Styles tag match. The girl with LAX irritates me, to be honest, but.. oh well. Match starts out hard and fast - AJ's brawling needs a little work. It's not bad - it's just.. average, where the rest of his work is little less than fantastic. Just.. blows look forced. Solid start to the match, really - Tomko randomly knocks Young off of the ring, he goes cluttering up the stage. "ZOMG SUPER ERIC!" Ad break.

Homicide's cutters look crap. They always have. Gah. Hernandez did a pretty awesome over the top rope suicide dive. It looks like there was a solid match in here, but what the crap's with these ad breaks cutting off all of the action? Cut off some of the video packages and promos, yeesh. So yeah, solid match, and.. expected finish, with Super Eric coming in and taking the win. New tag champions, Super Eric and Kaz. (Good to see that they might be splitting Tomko/Styles - I don't feel they work well together, personally speaking, and Styles feels a better main eventer than Tomko.) So what happens here? Ad break.

Tomko/Styles are backstage, saying to Cornette that Super Eric cheated - outside interference. They want their titles back. Outside interference. Now this I like. Team 3D are coming out. Must be getting paid a lot - two matches in a row. Cage/Rhino teaming up against them (who'da thunk it?) - It's a 'grudge' match, apparently. Rhino's really not got the same intensity to him as he used to, IMO. Boy, Cage sure is a big ripoff of what The Rock was late in his WWE run. But at the same time, I loves it. Hugely over, both teams. Ah, it was Robert Roode out with the other two guys beating them up earlier. Good give or take match - Cage is clearly way more over than Team 3D on the whole. He's just.. Got it, y'know? Cage did a top rope launching European uppercut. Reckon he's been watching any Castagnoli matches lately? Rhino really, really is looking bad here. I typo'd 'Whino' while not looking earlier, because I was watching and typing - I kinda like the name. Damn that Michigan guy, Whino! Cage did a top rope crossbody, blood lip from it it seems, but he still rushes straight into the ring after it. Needs more selling, really, IMO. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaad break.

We're back on Thursday Night Impact. During the commercial break, team 3D did things cheaply, using ring steps and such. D-von holds up a pretty awesome, if somewhat struggling stalling suplex. I want to see Cage make the comeback, but I also want to see Cage in the ring doing the selling. Yeah, Whino's kinda not impressing. A lot of lazy double team pullups in this match - they just don't look ready to really pull stuff in. 3D keeps their consistent, monotone offense. Heh, D-Von just tree of woe'd and nutstomped, holding his foot down. Wow, Cage kicked out? Rhino, what the fuck's wrong with you? Argh. Hebner in the ring? Markout time. Cage gets set up for something, Rhino's pointed at, hurricanrana.. pin. Cage shoulda went straight for the pin - but it didn't look bad, either. Ehino's not got the fire he should. Everything looks forced. Needs more selling, really, really, really does. Cage came into the ring, it is sucks. Rhino accidentally gores Cage. D-Von accidentally blindsides Buh Buh. Rollup win for Cage/Rhino! I'd resigned myself there. I actually liked this end. So long as they're not trying to break up the Dud.. uh.. oh, never mind.. they seem to be. They're screaming at one another. Eric Young is backstage playing wargames. Cornette talks over the problem with Young. Young's willing to support him, though. There was outside interference? SUPER ERIC WAS OUT THERE AND HE MISSED HIM AGAIN? Cornette.. he seems pissed off at the girls. Yup, he is. He says something about the old days, then uses the word 'sacrifice' a hundred times, like everyone else. Hate. Girls do seem to be screaming pretty loud, though. No way they're actually all in that tiny room. If they are, wow, what a room. (Kong's not with them, so, yeah.) Ad break.

Cornette's trying to diffuse the tag team title situation. Tomko's blaming Styles for the stupidity, it seems. Kaz comes out, he's got both belts. Holy fuck is Cornette loud. He doesn't even need the microphone, almost. Cornette calls Young out, Super Eric comes out. I love the 'lone' firework. It's really great. Tomko and Styles seem to really be trying to push this. Eric Young called Jim Cornette 'Commissioner Gordon'. "Why is your face going red?" "I am sorry, tanned handsome ladies man." I want to tell you guys about this promo - but literally, I can't. It's too fucking hilarious to explain by pure text. Son of Meltar! Father of Sion! No more tag champions. Belts are removed from everyone, work it out next week. Kip James, Robert Roode and James Storm are backstage, talking up their main event slot against Sting, BG James and Booker T. Sting-Storm feud? Awesome. Storm's the best promo guy here. They're all pushing singles feuds. I'm really hating the industry talk bit. Really irritating, but.. oh well. Roxxi Laveaux coming out for a Knockouts match against Awesome Kong.. Yeah, this is going to be good. Heh. Seeing as I'm not a big fan of Laveaux. ;) Kong stands 6 feet, one inches tall! (Not like.. six foot, one inch. One inches.) I do love Kong, despite myself. She looks like a real wrestler, unlike most of the regular girls. When we return, it's the opening bell.. They're actually doing it in the right order for once? AD BREAK!

Kong just randomly kicks the crap out of Laveaux. To be honest, I wouldn't be selling laveaux like Kong is - she makes her look almost credible. t the same time, the word dominant barely even suits. It's just so awesome to watch, haha. I'm almost afraid of Kong's sheer force. Hell, there's more force in her left boob than in the rest of the division! Kong puts on one of the laziest camel clutches I've seen in a long while - but it kinda fits, strange as that's going to sound. This match is hilarious in the way that everything's realistic and believable, yet at the same time, somehow completely ridiculous. Roxxi's being given way too much.. I'm actually believing that Laveaux is going to be winning this match here - which is the sign of a good match, IMO. Roxxi got over - but Kong was very believable, saying they did everything right here. Heh, does that belt even fit around Kong's waist? I have no idea. Kong goes over, if you're wondering. Angle's backstage, getting pissed off that he doesn't have a dressing room any more. Good promo, really. He's sounding a little pathetic, but in that good, getting over his gimmick way. Aaaaaaaaaad break.

Billy Gu.. Kip James' entrance video has a tiger in it. Heh. He's been roiding up, it's a little obvious. nlike James Storm. Storm's natural. That's good. He doesn't need Jackie, at all. Roode is.. from Wall Street? Manhattan? Take your word for it. Least over man in the match. BG James is looking sorely missing without his merchandise. He came out with a Lockdown shirt on, heh. Booker T's music is a sped up version of his WCW theme? Awesome. He's looking good. I'm hoping that Storm and Booker take up most of this match - even though I know that won't be the case, they just look the best in the match. Which sucks, really. Oh well. I'm just hoping they'll do the right thing with the ad breaks again, like they did with the women's match. Noope. Booker's not very believable as wanting to really face off with Roode despite the grudge thing. Booker's very leapy here in TNA. Match starts with James-T. Damn. James looks so slow. His punches are really had, but his simple blows / ring positioning are good. Took Booker to the wrong turnbuckle, too close to his tag partner. Sting in. Holy crap did Roode, just tagged in, oversell that hip toss. He launched half way across the ring! Wait, why is BG being tagged in? Why not Booker? He's the one with the feud. Oh, thank god. BG at least pushes it over right, punching Kip. Storm 'stabs BG in the back'. That's right, lungblower. Pin.. ad break.

We're back ono Thursday night impact! Seems like BG's been in the whole time. He's looking solid, though. Crowd wants booker. This is just.. standard match, building to a hot tag. Nothing wrong with it. Double shoulder tackle for Roode/James. Roode makes a tag out to Booker, Booker, house of fire, yadda yadda, hot tag typicals. Storm and James take a little punishment, though Kip definitely coulda worked that over better. James Storm gives a pretty bad enzuiguri, then goes for the beer bottle smack.. Matt Morgan interferes, stopping the beer bottle shot, kicking out his lights. Booker T looks upset. He doesn't want help, he says after finishing it off. Booker T challenges Sting? Weird. No confrontation past - it's just talkoff sorta stuff after Booker takes the pinfall victory. Ad break? I think. It's that or my channel cut off the credits. Tell you in a second. Yup.. seems there's no Adrenaline Rush tonight.

Guess what my biggest problem with this show was? Ad break.

I love how they stole the Edge gimmick of cashing in his briefcase after the champ was in a rough match. I would have liked to actually see a match between Petey and Lethal.

As for Joe, glad he's the champ, hate that Steiner is gonna be challenging him at his first PPV as Champ. I hope his match with Angle next week will be good.

There will be a match against Petey and Lethal. Just, Lethal won't be the champ. I out and out guarantee that match'll happen. I just hope they don't include Dutt in. Man, I hate that guy.

I quite liked Steiner and Joe's last match - that one which finished early because Steiner had a near-concussion or somesuch? I think they'll pull out something decent. I just hope I don't have to watch too many promos leading up to Sacrifice about it. "I'VE SACRIFICED.." Ugh.

I really hope that they have Young/Kaz pushed back to the tag titles, even though I loved the whole in ring Super Eric "Son of Moltar" crap. I still would've loved seeing them as champs for a little longer than 24 mins.

I however am very intrigued by the Steiner/Joe match at Sacrifice. They had a very good match at Slam. last year
