We cut to a scene inside of some kind of sanctuary inside of a church. The camera pans around to see Danny Nichols standing behind the preacher's podium.
Danny: "First Baptist Church of Forney, Texas. This is the church I went to while I was growing up. I remember sitting in the crowd, and looking up to where I'm standing right now, and I would listen to the preacher speak of Hellfire and brimstone. I'll admit, it used to scare me. I would be so afraid to mess up, due to the thought of going to Hell. I was so afraid of sinning, that I would want to stay in my bed all day long, because I felt if I stayed in bed I could do no wrong. Unfortunately it couldn't be that way. I remember sitting in a crowd of people, who would sin day in and day out. Sitting with people that had partied the night away the night before. Sitting with people that would live one way throughout the week, and then praise the name of Jesus on Sunday mornings. I would listen to people sit there and condem other people for drinking, condem people for smoking, having sex, pretty much condem them for anything they could think of. Yet, these people doing the condemming are the ones that are out doing the same thing. People like that were what caused me to turn my back on God and the church, people like Brad Williams.
Danny moves out from behind the pulpit and sits on the steps in front of it.
Brad, you call yourself "The Messiah," saying your here to punish people for their sins, and I am the first sinner to fall victim to your punishment. Brad, you're no different than any of those people I went to church with growing up. People like you caused me to leave the church, and then go out and live a life that I am now ashamed of. You sit there and claim to be God, with your talk of other people sins. Brad, I talk to God every morning when I wake up. I guess that means that if you're who you claim to be, if you are in fact God, then that means that I wake up and talk to you every morning. If that's the case, then I would much rather not be a Christian. I might as well go join a cult, or go buy a little statue of a fat guy. I've found peace with God, and wake up every morning to thank him for the life that he has blessed me with. I'm thankful that I can go out there and perform for the uCw fans day in and day out.
Danny looks down next to him, and picks up a bible.
Brad, I'm not gonna sit here and preach to you. My guess is that you know all about this book I hold in my hands. But I will say this, I pray for you. You've got problems if you really think that you are the chosen one, that you are here to punish people for their sins. I pray that God will forgive me for what I'm gonna do to you in the ring.
But Brad, to quote this book that I hold in my hand, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Looks like you're up.
Danny puts the book on the steps and walks off as the camera zooms in on the Bible.
