I have noticed on this forum that once you have posted a topic you can not delete it, I just think that if you're the topic starter you should be able to at least delete your own thread. Also I accidentally spelt something wrong in my WWE poll and could not correct it because it does not let you edit it, it would help alot more if it did.

nope, members won't be allowed to delete their own threads, nor will they be able to edit polls. There are reasons for these rules, and i'm not just doing them to be a forum Nazi.

If you never need any fixing to a thread title or you want to delete something, just ask the moderator of the forum to do it for you or any super-mod, admin that's currently available.

Back in my early days of IOW, i asked this question. But got a very good answer, if a person made a thread which got a good discussion going and got lots of hits, the creater could be an arsehole and delete a perfectly good discussion because he had the power to.
