TNT starts off this week with a surprsising image! The Dream, recently returned to WPW as Vice President to The Jokester's election hopes, arrives backstage with a bag slung over his shoulder, looking chipper - blinking furiously and licking his lips like a kangaroo. He is greeted by various backstage production goons.

Production Goon: Hi Dream, hope you’re well. What happened yesterday?

Dream: What day is it today? I must’ve slept in. Well never mind about that, let’s do a quickly impromptu promo right now! Who am I facing tonight?

Production Goon: It’s The Dream Team versus, erm – Skye Ryder and Forsaken, or something.

Dream: Haha, yes – Foreskin, I heard his promo. So he’s changed has he? Well since I don’t even remember him, that doesn’t mean shit to me. The Dream is here to ring the changes – mostly by rearranging my opponents' features. After The Dream Team hit Total Devastation the medics won’t know whether to scoop up their faces or serve 'em with a side order of salad in Pizza Express. I can’t wait to hear their next promo - try talking with a mouthful of shattered cheekbones and The Dream, standing over you putting out the fire in your eyes out with a long, hot morning piss before stomping what little brains they have between them into mush between my little toesies.

Production Goon: *wincing* Nice.

Dream: Then we’ll see who are the quitters when The Dream has them both Eating The Mat, or the steel steps, or whatever else there is on hand to stove their heads in with. Oh it's gonna be magical - wait, oh shit -

*from down the corridor* Dream, come on - you're up. You should see all the shirts!!

Oh look what's happened - I guess the story of my disappearance will have to wait for later now. Once The Dream Team get this win over with, then all shall be revealed! Yes that’s right – I’ll be showing all my bits, ‘cos whilst Mr Jokester is on the campaign trail with the election seemingly in his pocket, The Dream is on the champagne trail with an erection screaming in mine. COME ON!!

Ass Ryder, Foreskin - C U Next… no wait a second, I’m about to C U Momentarily!

Production Goon: Urgh.

The Dream dashes off to a raucus roar of approval from the fans watching on the big screen. The Pyrotechnics and the reels begin to play signalling the beginning of another Tuesday Night Turmoil!!!

WPW Tuesday Night Turmoil
January 8th, 2008
Aberdeen Woods Conference Center
Peachtree City, Georgia

Daniel: and welcome one and all to a very, very special episode of WPW’s Tuesday Night Turmoil. Our Very first Turmoil in 2008!!

Max: That’s right. And We’re starting 2008 of with a bang of a show, TWO titles are being defended in just the one show!

Daniel: Not to mention the spectacular return of The Dream a former PCW Legend!

Max: I try not to mention him...

Daniel: anyway, let’s get going with our first match of 2007...

Max: Eight!

Daniel: 2008!

“Apocalypse Please” By Muse begins to hit the speakers!

Daniel: Wait!

Max: Is it time for the Main event Already?

Daniel: It can’t be!

Max: But here we are about to be blessed with the presence of our WPW World Champion, our NEW champion! James Moriarty Cassius

The boos are deafening as smoke begins to pour from the entrance way, clouding the place with a plume of mist. Soon enough we see a figure begin to Emerge from inside it, stepping out wearing a suit and collar and holding two glowing titles over his shoulders! But it’s not James Moriarty Cassius...

Daniel: It’s 2!

Max: 2?

2, the Hardcore Champion AND the Florida Champion steps out from the smoke, the boos, if possible get louder. He moves away from the smoke and suddenly, with what looks like a cape of cloud behind him, out runs James Moriarty Cassius, his WPW title belt around his waist.

Daniel: And there we have it! Our forth ever WPW World Heavyweight Champion!

Max: Not sounding too popular with the fans!

Daniel: He hasn’t been for a long time, not since his first title run!

Cassius laughs at the fans and bows to them, he is answered with a small amount of rubbish being thrown at him by the very section he bowed to. 2 looks over pissed off and starts yelling at the crowd which threw the rubbish.
Daniel: 2, the very man who took out “Masterful” Michael Karver in the WPW Title Match at the Tournament of Champions.

Max: But that woulda given JMC the World Title!

Daniel: And it did do exactly that, Max! 2 interfered and in all essence has joined Royalty. But how do you contain an individualist ego like 2? I, like a lot of others have speculated he probably won’t be able to take being bossed around by JMC.

2 gets more rubbish thrown at him, none of which hits its mark. He moves over menacingly, but JMC pulls his shoulder back hard. He points to the ring and the two begin their walk down to it. Cassius walks up the ramp and on the way, collects two microphones. JMC stops o n the outside and waves, very smugly, out towards the fans. Nothing looks like raining in on his Parade. He jumps into the ring and composes himself, his lips resting close to the microphone, the crowd does not become silent immediately, chants of ‘you suck’ ‘ you’re an ass’ come through loud and clear.

Max: No respect for the champ this week!

Cassius seizes on the moment and finally speaks, a soliloquy...

JMC: O, flatter me; for love delights in praises.
When I was sick, you gave me bitter pills,
And I must minister the like to you.
Then speak the truth by her; if not divine,
Yet let her be a principality,
Sovereign to all the creatures on the earth...
Except my mistress!

2 Yawns to himself as Cassius looks awefounded at himself, holding his gold aloft as he speaks of his mistress... He turns to see 2 yawning and bits at him.

JMC: Shush! Oh it feels good to be back where I belong! Back on top, back to being your champion. The Prince in thought, word and deed! Now, never let a man say you do not have a champion worthy of respect. Now never let a man say That Royalty is simply a group designed to keep The Prince of Cats head afloat. Now, all that was wrong with the world, all the stupid mistakes caused by the fans not understanding what is good for them... has been erased!

2: That reminds me, Prince. You think the ring can handle all the weight of the gold in this ring? (2 motions to his own titles) I mean. Its not often four bits of gold come together in one ring, let alone on merely two men.

Daniel: Oh those arrogant asses!

Max: Now look who doesn't like the champs!

Daniel: It’s not that I don’t like them..

Max: You despise them!

Daniel I’m impartial.. It’s just their gloating nature just irks my ire!

JMC: Indeed, the last time so many titles were in one ring, why Jamie Parker was fighting Scorch! And how times have changed, and how peoples amazing deeds with dual titles can become so.... Eclipsed. I doubt anyone is ever going to handle Royalty the same way again! Royalty is exactly what I imagined it to be. a hive of unstoppability and of raw power. A World Champion, a Tag champion, a Florida Champion and a Hardcore champion... In only two men! And I have only you to thank for that!

Daniel: Dead right, we could have had World Champion Michael Karver out here had 2 not gotten involved!

2 shrugs his shoulders slyly at this.

2: What can I say? It became clear that your offer was very timely. I am not one for groups of people. But if any, this is close to perfection

JMC: Perfection is such a strong word.. However in this case it is Correct. But not yet applicable. There is one thing yet for us to do. You might have joined Royalty but you have yet to become one of us. Thus I ask you to kneel before the Prince of Cats.

2 looks directly at James. Many might think he takes a posture of surprise or attack. The crowd certainly does as they egg him on to do something to JMC.

Daniel: Here’s the problem! 2 is nobody’s servant, he’s not quickly going to bow to anyone!

But he kneels! The crowd boos that they didn’t see a fight. JMC looks very pleased with himself, like he had just conquered a mountain.

2: I bow before you prince. So that I may make others bow before me. So that I may make others bow before us. They will fall to the royal and beg for mercy my prince!

JMC: And in bowing to the Prince, you will have all you wished for. You will no longer be second, never be the Number two to ANYONE! The man who lives by anger will rule. And thus I pronounce you, in Royalty...
KING!
The King of Agony bows before The Prince of Cats.

Daniel: JMC has just announced 2 King! He has given him Dust’s old rank in Royalty! But not the People’s King, The “King of Agony”

2: (looks up from his knee) And the King of Agony will make others bow before the prince as well. With me, you have created something beyond stoppable. The last great force in WPW has been entered into a pact with the devil.

JMC: (Smugly) And the devil always wins. Now, not to cut the story short. But you have something I want you to finish, your first task as King. I order you to destroy Brock Goodman once more. Prove to us why you are part of us. Kill my old friend.

And let it be a lesson to you all, to the fans that decide to litter in our direction, to the stars that will try and resist by complaint form, to those who will try to fight us head on. To Everyone. You know Royalty is destined to rule, to be your superiors, it is in our very title! Learn to fear us, learn to simply give up when you have something we want. Call it Taxation maybe. But whatever you call it, simply do not resist.

“Counting Bodies Like Sheep” begins to play and JMC and 2 throw down their microphones. They begin to move from the ring.

Daniel: And so begins the Cassius Era again, I guess!

Max: He shouldn’t be so cocky, no mention by him about his upcoming tag defense in the Main Event.

Daniel: But it was also made official, we have a new Royal in our midst!

Tag Team Match
Jokester & The Dream vs. Sky Ryder & Forsaken

Daniel: Well next up we have quite the match up Max with one team who are just beginning to establish themselves, and one team who defines the word experienced.

Max: You mean one team who’s worn out their welcome Daniel.

Daniel: Don’t be jealous Max just because the REAL Dream Team is back.

Max: Foxx and James aren’t even in the building, I have no reason to be excited.

Suddenly the lights go dark and the titantron has the words “Feel the pain that I endured!” plastered across it. Forsaken and Sky Ryder step out onto the stage and the crowd begin to give off a mixed reaction.

Mina: Introducing first, from t-

Suddenly Mina’s microphone dies and the electricity in the building goes out.

Daniel: What the hell?

Max: Not again…

Daniel: Are we on the air? Testing 1, 2, 3.

Max: Daniel’s mother is a cunt.

Daniel: …Obviously I can still hear you Max, I’m sitting right beside you.

Max: Oh right… Um…

Suddenly a voice fills the arena, it is the voice of Gunnar Brian.

Gunnar:

Soon will come the day when my next target will be known,

he is in fact one of WPW’s own home grown,

He will not take much work to dispose of when it’s time,

In prison guys like him come a dozen for a dime,

In two weeks he shall replace WPW in the sleep he has put it into…

The lights all turn back on and Sky Ryder and Forsaken are standing in the middle of the ring looking pissed as their music resumes playing.

Daniel: Who was he talking about Max?

Max: Martha Stewart? Kiefer Sutherland for that last season of 24? Hell if I know!

Daniel: Well anyway, Sky Ryder and Forsaken are now awaiting their opponents, and they don’t look pleased that Gunnar interrupted their entrance.

Max: Would you be Max?

Daniel: …Did you call me Max?

Max: …No…

Daniel: …

Suddenly A-MER-ICA hits the speakers and the crowd all erupt out of their seats.

Mina: And their opponents!!!

The Dream and Jokester both come running out onto the entrance ramp and the crowd go absolutely wild.

Mina: Weighing in at a combined weight of 339 water balloons and hailing from the somewhere in Nicaragua, The Dream and John Oliver Kenneth Edward Ster, The Dream Team!

Daniel: I can’t believe I’m seeing this again here tonight!

Max: I’m over it…

The Dream runs down the entrance ramp slapping every hand on both sides of the barricade on the way. His face is painted with a sad face despite the beaming grin spread across it. Jokester follows him very slowly behind, making double sure to shake every hand The Dream slapped, kiss every screaming baby on the forehead, which thankfully for the rest of the crowd is only one, and tactfully slap a Vote Ster badge on every wrist he makes contact with, the arm-bearing shirt fans in particular looking a bit peeved.

Daniel: Tonight we get to witness the first straight up tag match of The Dream Team, and according to The Dream since last week’s match wasn’t prepared for properly, The Dream Team are still undefeated.

Max: But what about when…

Daniel: Silence! PCW records are no longer archived.

Max: What crap.

The Dream slides under the bottom rope and Jokester continues shaking hands with the audience, only half way down the ramp. The Dream raises his arms to the crowd and they once again go wild but the celebrations are cut short when Sky Ryder suddenly springs across the ring and hits The Dream right in the temple with a forearm smash!

Daniel: Ouch! Sky Ryder taking exception to The Dream Team’s reception.

Max: Well gee I wonder why when all he got was a stupid Gunnar Brian poem.

Sky Ryder nails The Dream in the head a second time as the ring bell sounds. Jokester, oblivious to what’s going on in the ring as he begins to chat with a member of the audience, remains on the outside as Sky Ryder attempts to whip The Dream into his corner. He succeeds as The Dream flies into Sky Ryder’s corner back first, but tactfully throws his elbows out as he does so catching Forsaken in the nose! Forsaken tumbles off the ring apron as Sky Ryder angrily rushes The Dream, but The Dream quickly places his hands on the top ropes and uses them to push his lower body off the mat, catching an incoming Sky Ryder in the face with the bottoms of both of his boots!

Daniel: Oooh! The Dream saw Sky Ryder coming and cut him off at the pass.

Max: Wow, what an international hero, after all none of us expected Sky Ryder to rush him in the corner did we?

Daniel: What’s wrong with you Max? You have had a tree trunk sized stick up your ass for the past 6 weeks!

Max: They took anal fissures off of our health insurance

Daniel: …Well that explains it!

Sky Ryder turns around and falls to his knees while holding his face with both hands. The Dream smirks and uses his arms to spring himself up to the second rope. The Dream then leaps forward and hits Sky Ryder in the back of the head with a double axe handle smash sending him down to the mat on his hands and knees. The Dream quickly drops an elbow to the back of Sky Ryder sending him the rest of the way down, and then flips him over for the cover.

One…
T…Kickout!

The Dream stands and grabs Sky Ryder by his hair yanking him up to his feet. The referee tries to warn Dream to lay off the hair but The Dream mocks the referee and shows him the sad face. Sky Ryder takes the moment of distraction and uses it to his advantage as he thrusts his thumb into The Dream’s eye. Sky Ryder quickly dives for his corner and makes the tag to Forsaken who had just climbed back up to the ring apron.

Daniel: Dirty tactics there by Sky Ryder to bring Forsaken into the ring, and so far Max Forsaken has seemed to be the stronger of the two on this team.

Max: Well one would assume Sky Ryder to be the team captain, with his resume and all, but I do agree that Forsaken has really been coming into his own lately and is looking to be a breakout star of 2008, assuming he can stay consistent!

Forsaken grabs The Dream in a collar and elbow tie up and within a moment he has The Dream on his back after a quick hip toss. Forsaken stays on top of The Dream and begins to pummel him on the ground, but the referee warns Forsaken about using closed fists. Forsaken shrugs angrily and grabs The Dream’s wrist and pulls him to his feet. Forsaken quickly runs backward into the ropes to bounce off them for momentum, and after he does so he flies toward The Dream with a jumping spinning heel kick but The Dream instinctively ducks. Forsaken flies right over The Dream’s head and lands on his feet behind him, but The Dream quickly turns and extends a leg to sweep Forsaken’s shaky legs out from under him. Forsaken hits the mat back first and The Dream is already running into the ropes to bounce off for momentum. The Dream then launches his body into the air and lands on top of Forsaken in a splash! He stay on top for the cover!

One
Two
Shoulder up!

Daniel: The Dream so far is dominating this match up Max, it looks like he’s worked out any ring rust he might have had.

Max: That or Darkness 2.0 over here are just making fools out of themselves. C’mon guys!

Forsaken gets to his feet a moment after The Dream and a moment is all The Dream needed as he smashes the point of his elbow on the soft part of Forsaken’s skull. Forsaken slumps forward and The Dream quickly jams his arm around Forsaken’s face and pulls back on his chin snapping in a rear chin lock. Forsaken yells as his neck is stretched and desperately reaches out to the ropes.

Dream: The Dream, uncharacteristically, is trying to win this match by submission!

Max: And all the while his idiot partner is STILL shaking hands on the entrance ramp.

Jokester is indeed still shaking hands, not made his way to the ring yet, as Dream pulls harshly on Forsaken’s neck. Eventually Sky Ryder enters the ring and stomps The Dream in the back of the head before the referee has time to push him back out. Dream holds the back of his head as he rolls off Forsaken and scoots himself to sit in the corner. Forsaken stands and takes one look over to Sky Ryder before opting to stomp Dream in the corner. Forsaken continues stomping Dream Steve Austin style until The Dream gasps for air. Forsaken smiles satisfied and takes a few steps back waiting for The Dream to stand. The Dream does indeed stand up in the corner and Forsaken charges him with a flying side kick but The Dream rolls out of the way! Forsaken flies into the turnbuckle groin first and lands awkwardly on the top rope.

Daniel: Oooh, you know that must hurt! Forsaken is all hung out to dry now!

Max: That’s why I say all that twirly spinny bullshit doesn’t work. Just keep your feet on the ground and knock a sucka out!

Daniel: Whatever you say Mr. T.

The Dream turns around to see Forsaken on the turnbuckle and his face lights up. He quickly reaches into the front of his tights.

Max: What the fuck?!

Daniel: What... Um… Is Dream doing?

Max: Did he get so excited he had to jerk the meat stick?

The Dream pulls out a small vial. He pushes the bottom and out pops a stick of black lipstick. He quickly draws on his face to turn the sad face into a happy face as the crowd go wild.

Daniel: Dream up to his old antics!

Max: I still think he just wanted to cop a feel on the magical apples.

The Dream reaches forward and grabs the top rope that Forsaken is straddled on and begins moving it up and down causing Forsaken to “ride” the ropes in a very unpleasant manor. The crowd all pop as Forsaken falls off the top rope in pain and The Dream begins to run in small circles around the ring. While The Dream is busy Forsaken makes another tag to Sky Ryder and Sky Ryder reenters the match again. Sky lunges at The Dream with a clothesline and knocks him hard to the floor. The Dream springs right back up though but it sent right back down by a dropkick from Sky Ryder. Sky Ryder follows the dropkick up with a leg drop to a grounded Dream, but The Dream rolls out of the way and Sky Ryder crashes and burns!

Daniel: Sky Ryder rode right into the ground that time!

Max: Hahaha, funny, why don’t you go try stand up Daniel?

Daniel: I would but I was too busy standing up your mom last night! Oooooh!

Max: …Meh …She’s a slut anyway.

Sky Ryder looks up to The Dream and The Dream kicks him across the face football punt style! Sky Ryder falls back holding his nose when Forsaken enters the ring illegally and performs a side kick to The Dream’s lower back. The referee tries to force Forsaken out but Forsaken gives The Dream another hard kick, this time to the left shoulder blade! Jokester looks to the ring and drops his remaining election pins in shock. He yells “Gotta go!” to the audience and quickly rushes the ring. Forsaken kicks The Dream in the abdomen, and moves forward as if he were going to lift him up when Jokester suddenly comes from behind and clips Forsaken’s knee. Forsaken begins to fall but The Dream quickly grabs Forsaken and lifts him up and slams him back down into The Dream Street!

Daniel: Dream Street on Forsaken!

Max: But he’s not the legal man!

Jokester points to Sky Ryder and the crowd all erupt. They know what’s coming! The Dream looks to Jokester and smiles as well and quickly rushes to the corner. The Dream hops up the turnbuckle to stand atop it and Jokester turns his back to the turnbuckle and lifts Sky Ryder up on his shoulders. The crowd begin to chant “Contain the bees, contain the bees!” Jokester gives a thumbs up from behind to Dream, and Dream replies with a “Wazzzzzup!”

Daniel: Wasn’t that the Dudley’s?

Max: Wasn’t that from 1999?

The Dream flies off the top rope with a beautiful moonsault. As he rotates he grabs Sky Ryder's head and pulls him off the top of Jokester’s shoulders with a huge DDT. Sky Ryder hits the mat and is instantly knocked out as Dream effortlessly hooks the leg and Jokester drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. The referee counts.

One
Two
Three!!!

A-MER-ICA hits the speakers and The Dream raises his arms in the air in triumph.

Daniel: It’s over! The Dream Team contained the bees, and won the match in a decisive victory!

Max: Sky Ryder let me down Daniel.

Mina: The winners of this match, The Dream Team!

The Dream with a smiley face painted on his face, over an unhappy face that is, rolls out of the ring and jumps on his parner’s shoulders. Jokester catches him but quickly sets him back down and points to his lower back citing presidential cramps.

Daniel: The Dream Team made this victory look easy, just like they used to do in PCW, and boy is it great to have them back.

Max: Well, I do give them one thing, this victory was without a doubt a landslide, and you have to wonder if The Dream Team may be next in line for Tag Team Championship contention.

As we return from a commercial, "No More Sorrow" by Linkin Park hits on the speakers and after a brief cheer from the crowd Andrew Xavier walks through the curtain and on to the ramp. He is not dressed to compete, in fact he is wearing a pair of black jeans and a white shirt that is open at the top. His hair is messy and he pushes it back away from his face as he looks out towards the crowd from the ramp. As the cameras zoom on his face we see a very somber expression on his face, and his eyes are slowly coming to tears. After a brief moment of staring out into the crowd he continues his walk down the ramp, barely acknowledging fans who try and pat him on the back. As he reaches the ring he walks up the stell steps and gets into the ring where he walks into the very center and again looks out emotionally to the crowd.

Daniel: Well folks Andrew Xavier is out here, but we really do not know why.

Max: Maybe he is going to reveal a kid he made by himself since he can't get one of those either.

Daniel: Real classy Max.

In the ring Andrew has requested a microphone and now stands in the middle of the ring holding it in his right hand. The crowd are fairly silent, confused as to what is going on, the silence is broken with the odd fan shouting "Get this over with" or "What do you want?!". Then Andrew lifts the microphone and begins to talk. His tone of voice isn't the confident one we know from Andrew, instead it has been replaced with a more serious and sad one.

Andrew: I am out here tonight to....

Andrew breaks off from what he is about to say then drops his head and pauses for a moment before going back to the microphone.

Max: What did he forget his lines or something?

Daniel: WPW isn't scripted Max, there guys just go out and shoot. Now shut up so we can actually hear what he has to say.

Andrew: As of late...My career..My family...and my life have fallen apart...On national television I have been embaressed and broken. The woman that I love....and my son.....my son that I love so much!.......

Andrew pauses to compose himself before continueing.

Andrew: This is really hard for me to do this so please just bare with me...At the tournament of champions, I lost to Gunnar Brian, a man who back in PCW I was able to battle with back and forth until finally I defeated him and broke the deadlock. Back then my career was white-hot, I was the hardcore champion and I was on my way to the top via the tournament of champions. But that was then...and this is now. Now I am walking into the tournament of champions after being eliminated in the first round, now I am walking into battle Gunnar Brain and simply taking a beating becuase I just don't have what it takes anymore. Losing to Gunnar at TOC made me realise exactly how far I am from that past. My life has fallen apart...and this business stood back and watched as I spirraled into the abyss. I can't see a way out of this darkness, I have lost everything I ever loved...this is not how it should have been.....and so it is over.

Andrew drops the microphone to the canvas below and takes another look out at the crowds before stepping out of the ring. As he walks up the ramp he doesn't look back and leaves through the curtian.

Daniel: Very poetic words, but what is he saying? Is this truly the last of Andrew Xavier?

Max: It will just be like everybody else that leaves WPW, he will be back in a month guarenteed.

Daniel: Well I don't know, all of that with his wife and his son. The man was publically humiliated not to mention heartbroken, and with it his young career hit it's worse slump in a long time. I honestly think he has just walked out the door.

Max: Good riddence I say.

Daniel: I'll admit he has his flaws but he is one hell of an athlete, I really do hope this isn't the last we see of Xavier.

Suddenly the camera cuts to a shot of Aurora Callisto backstage she is sitting in her private locker room holding baby Bryan in her arms. Her eyes are focused on the large plasma screen on the wall as she has just watched her ex-fiance's speech. She has a wide smile on her face as she looks down at baby Bryan and talks to him in a very patronising, motherly manner.

Aurora: It's all falling into place now baby, and next week me and daddy will read the next chapter to the whole wide world.

She then looks up and turns to the camera with as the huge smile on her face only widens.

Max: If only I knew what that means!

"E-Pro" by Beck. Royal Knight stands out on the entrance ramp, soaking in the reactions. As the lyrics begin, gold fireworks pour onto him. He closes his eyes and looks straight into them.

Singles Match
Royal Knight vs. Dan Murph

Max: I know what this means, Time for a Match!

Mina: Introducing first from the Dallas, Texas weighing in at two hundred and fifteen pounds he is the sensational Royal KNIGHT!

Royal Knight makes his way to the ring, lifting his arms ala Randy Orton. He climbs the turnbuckle, throwing his arms into an X at the wrists. He looks around at the people in attendance before hoping off the turnbuckle and awaiting his opponent. "Becoming The Bull" by Atreyu hits the pa system as Dan Murph steps out onto the entrance ramp. He looks down to the ring where Royal Knight awaiting him. He then begins to walk toward the ring.

Mina: And his opponent from Waterford, Ireland weighing in at an astounding three hundred and forty-four pounds, he is none other than Dan MURPH!

Dan continues to walk down aisle. As he makes it to ringside he walks over to the ring and pulls himself up using the ropes onto the apron. He looks at Royal Knight as he enters the ring over the top rope. Dan stares down Royal Knight as his music begins to fade.

Daniel: This is going to be one hell of a match, both men are out for revenge after last weeks debacle at the Tournament of Champions. Once tag team partners if not just for one night now bitter enemies. This is going to be sensational!

Max: Right it is. I see a losing streak happening here tonight for one of the wrestlers in this match and this could be the start of it.

Daniel: Could be something to keep a keen eye on.

RK and Dan Murph look each other up and down as they circle the ring, neither wanting to take the first bite. The crowd waits in anticipation as both men continue to circle the ring. Then in a explosion of will power both men lunge at one another tying up in the middle of the ring. Jocking for position both men use their strength to take the other down, but both men show great strength. RK pushes Dan into the ropes but this doesn't last long as Dan starts to over power RK and thrusts him into the corner. Dan holds RK in the corner until the referee tells him to break. Dan loosens his grip on RK and goes to back away but in typical Dan Murph fashion he chops RK across the chest like a knife through paper. RK retaliates by shoving Dan away from him and then throwing a wicked right hand with connects with the side of Dan's face. Dan stumbles backwards trying to recapture his composure but Royal Knight hits him again. Dan stumbles into the ropes and RK grabs his arm and goes to irish whip him but Dan counters and delivers a short arm clothesline to RK knocking him to the mat. The crowd sighs as Dan readjusts his jaw and waits as RK gets back to his feet. RK slowly gets back to his feet and Dan barrels toward him attempting a clothesline but RK ducks and Dan hits the ropes and returns right into a spinning heel kick by RK. Dan falls back into the ropes and RK goes on the offensive hitting not one, but two nicely placed knife edge chops on Dan's chest. The crowd Oooo's with every chop. RK then throws Dan into the corner and his Dan once more before throwing him across the ring into the opposite corner. Dan hits the corner hard with his chest and stumbles back into RK who locks in and delivers a reverse DDT to him putting Dan face up on the mat. Royal Knight covers.

2 ... Dan kicks out right after the two count. RK gets to his feet not wasting any time and picks Dan up. RK goes to launch Dan into the ropes again but Dan counters, throws a wild punch connecting with RK's face and then kicks RK in the ribs and drops him with a DDT of his own. The crowd roars as Dan drops to the mat and covers RK now.

1 ...

Just as the referee's hand is about to come down for a two count RK kicks out showing he still has enough in his tank to keep the battle going.

Daniel: This is turning out to be one hell of a match thus far, I knew both men have some sort of hatred from one another but I didn't think it was build up this far, that fast.

Max: Its always been there Daniel, it takes a keen eye and half a brain to figure that out.

Dan gets to his feet with a handful of RK's hair hoisting him up to his feet. Dan walks RK over to the ropes and leans him on them delivering a forearm across his back for good measure. Dan then backs away from RK before running at him with a spear right to the lower back. The crowd buzzes as RK slides down the ropes and then lays on the bottom one gasping for air. Dan then steps onto the lower back of RK and uses the top rope for leverage. RK screams out in pain as the referee warns Dan and begins to count to three. Dan steps down right after two and has a huge smile on his face. RK is still draped on the bottom rope as Dan grabs his feet and drags him back fully into the ring and away from the ropes. Dan then takes one of RK's legs, lifts it into the air and slams in hard back onto the mat. RK lets out a gasp.

Daniel: Looks like Dan Murph wants to end the career of Royal Knight right here right now.

Max: It does seem that way but then again he's Dan Murph --- BITCH!

Daniel: Whats that suppose to mean?

Max: No Idea really.

Dan then flips RK over onto his back and goes for another pinfall attempt hooking RK's leg in the process. The referee gets down into position and begins to count.

1 ...

As the referee's hand comes down for the three count Royal Knight kicks out, barely. As he does a sharp pain shoots up his back and he moans in pain. Dan has a smile on his face as he gets back to his feet and backs away from RK allowing him to get back to his. RK is slow to get back to his feet. As he gets to his knees Dan feels he has waiting enough and runs at RK delivering a knee shot right to the back of RK's head. RK falls face first to the mat and the crowd boos Dan for his actions.

Daniel: What a rollercoaster of emotions from the fans for one Dan Murph. It seems to me that Dan doesn't care what the fans think, to be honest I am not sure if he ever has.

Max: Dan Murph is like Hilary Clinton, he'll do and say whatever you want him to say to make you feel safe but then bitch slap you back to reality with the truth of his actions.

Daniel: So you're saying is Hilary says one thing and does another.

Max: Exactly.

Daniel: Max thats how all Politicians are.

Max: True, but Ross Perot wasn't!

RK moves on the mat pushing himself up and moving toward to ropes. As he gets to the ropes and begins to pull himself up Dan is right there attacking him again not letting him blink without a punch to the body. RK continues to pull himself up amid the attack from Dan. Dan goes to throw RK but RK instinctively grabs onto the top rope stopping such action. Dan yanks RK's arm and then has enough and goes to attack RK but somehow by some divine power RK throws Dan over the top rope using Dan's own momentum. Dan hits lands on his feet, however, and goes right back to the attack grabbing onto RK's feet and taking them out from under him. RK's head slams onto the mat and then the outside mat as Dan yanks him out of the ring. The referee then begins his count.

.. 1

Dan delivers a elbow drop onto RK's chest, Dan then rubs his elbow into RK's chest.

.. 2

Dan gets back to his feet and kicks RK in the ribs before picking him back up.

.. 3

RK begins to fight back trying to alleviate the force of Dan but this is short lived as Dan delvers a knee to his ribs.

.. 4

Dan then slams RK's head onto the mat before throwing him back into the ring breaking the referee's count. RK moves away from the ropes as Dan jumps onto the apron and enters the ring. Dan then stalks RK as he tries to get away as he is about to Dan reaches down and grabs onto his hair using it to pick him up. Dan turns RK around and slaps him across the face, knocking the taste out of his mouth. RK turns away and the light finally clicks on inside. RK turns around and as he does a hurricane of a right hand belts Dan right across the mouth knocking his head wickedly to the left. Dan stumbles away and RK throws another and then another keeping Dan off his steady base. RK then grabs Dan's arm and whips him into the ropes, Dan bounces off and then returns. RK leap frogs Dan and he goes into the far ropes, bounces off and is hit with a dropkick to the face. Dan drops to the mat but the attack isn't over yet. RK runs at the ropes and springboards off connecting with a springboard leg drop onto his sternum, RK then gets back to his feet and stumbles away from Dan.

Daniel: Looks like RK is starting to go on the offensive.

Max: Looks like RK is hurting and that was a last ditch effort to get anything going. I doubt RK can capitalize on that.

Daniel: Well with him now on the opposite end of the ring holding his neck leaning up against the rope I suppose you're right.

RK leans on the top rope holding his neck, not able to capitalize on his springboard leg drop. Dan is already moving as he is pulling himself up, he then shakes of the ill effects of the leg drop and looks over at RK. As Dan progresses over to RK, RK waits playing possum. As Dan goes to grab RK he turns around and hits Dan across the face. Dan steps back and RK hits him with another, RK then kicks Dan in the knee and Dan falters a bit stumbling back some more. RK then bounces into the ropes and returns going for a cross body but is caught in mid air.

Max: I think its coming right here.

Daniel: Whats that?

Max: The end of Royal Knight.

Dan moves RK into position for the 'AntiVirus' but that is quickly thwarted as RK wiggles free and drops behind Dan. RK, being quick on his feet runs at the far ropes and as Dan turns around he is hit with a dropkick to the knees taking them out from under him. Dan falls face first to the mat and RK then moves to Dan's feet and locks in a single leg boston crab taking Dan's support of his legs from him. RK pulls at Dan's legs but this doesn't last long as Dan simply over powers RK and using his leg throws RK off of him. RK stumbles forward but regains composure quickly as he waits for Dan to start to get to his feet. As he does RK pounces on him with an elbow to the back of Dan's head sending it back into the mat. RK then jumps up again and runs at the ropes and returns going for a leg drop which fails as Dan rolls out of the way. RK hits the mat hard.

Daniel: Royal Knight is pulling out all the stops here tonight trying to defeat the monster that is Dan Murph.

Max: I don't think David in this situation can beat Goliath if you know what I mean. Hell David's rocks just aren't big enough.

Daniel: What?

Max: David slew Goliath with a sling and rocks... Don't you read.

Daniel: Apparently not the same books you do.

Dan gets to his feet and so does RK both men meet up in the middle of the ring and then RK goes flying back down to his ass as Dan Murph launches him so. RK looks up at the monster as his hands grab him by the throat. Dan lifts RK onto the top rope and then lays in a wicked slap across RK's chest. Dan then takes RK by his head and throws him off the top rope across the ring. Dan walks towards RK and RK pulls himself up into the corner. Dan fires the engines and starts to run toward RK going for what seemed to be a corner splash but RK moves out of the way and Dan hits the corner hard with his chest. He stumbles out of the corner and RK jumps up onto the middle turnbuckle and then off again with a elbow to the head of Dan. This doesn't move the monster very far and RK uses what little energy he has to climb the turnbuckle again and he leaps off with a cross body which again is blocked, this time he is military pressed but not dropped. Dan then has enough smarts to put RK on his shoulders locking in the 'AntiVirus'.

Max: This is going to be it. Dan Murph has Royal Knight locked in for the second time and we all know you may get out the first time but if you get back into the grasp of it again you're pretty much done.

Daniel: Long winded comment Max, you could've said here we go AntiVirus time!

Max: Could've but then again I don't get paid for short comments like you do.

Dan moves away from the ropes and then drops RK down to the mat with a tremendous 'AntiVirus'. Dan puts one hand on RK and the referee gets into position and counts.

... 3. As the referee's hand hits the mat for the three count Dan gets back to his feet and thrusts his hands into the air in victory.

Mina: Here is your winner by pinfall Dan MURPH!

"Becoming The Bull" by Atreyu hits the pa system and Dan exits the ring. RK is out on the mat looking straight up to the rafters.

Amy is standing in the hall as the camera comes on backstage. She seems to be waiting for something.
Suddenly she perks up and starts walking to the left. The camera follows as she heads towards one Mike Corral who has just come out of his locker room.

Amy: Mike...Mike Corral! I have some questions for you about your match against Karver tonight!

Mike looks back at her, he takes two steps forward and grabs the mic from her.

Mike Corral: Here you go Amy. I am going to finally beat him. I am going to destroy him. And then I am coming for the world title! No fancy chat, nothing. Plain and simple.

He shoves the mic back in her hands and then walks off quickly. Amy stands there in a bit of awe. Suddenly the mic comes back out of her hands as Mike returns and sticks his face in the camera.

Mike Corral: AND YOU KNOW THIS........MAN!

He drops the Mike and heads off.

The scene returns to a door, the camera looks down the corridor to see The Royal Knight, flicking a piece of paper between his fingers. He can be heard muttering as he opens the door.

RK: Delivering mail... All I’m good for...

Inside is The Royalty. Judge lies on the bench while JMC jumps up as soon as he sees RK enter. he greets him cordially.

JMC: Ah. My Knight! But why the glum face?

RK: Here. Someone told me to give this to you. (He passes over a letter).

JMC opens it and his face lights up once more.

JMC: Oh but this is wonderful news!

RK: Whoopee...

JMC: Oh come now, you cannot be so negative, this is the day we have waited for since March, our first day of dominance! We, who are Royal!

Royal Knight shifts away as JMC holds hima round the shoulder!

JMC: Oh this again, the feeling of rejection, the pubescent lost soul. Now tell me, what have I ever done to show my disloyalty towards you? Towards my Knight?

RK: It’s always the same with the pecking order.

JMC: Pecking Order? I say you are far too obsessed with the order around here! You have a King bowing to a Prince, the order is no mans business... And do you fear, what would you say, becoming obsolete? Tell me when have I not had uses for you? Who did I send to eliminate Dust from our midst? It was you who did it for me! Who destroyed Parker when I deemed it necessary for him to lose his belts? Thee again. And Carlos, I gave you the first blow against the boss when we turned on him!

RK nods and smiles, remembering each time he has destroyed someone.

JMC: You might not be a King, or my tag partner, and you may not, for the time being, have a title.. But you are my weapon of choice! You are The Royal Knight, eliminator of those who stands in our way. You are going to be the greatest one day. And it comes soon! You just need to keep the same faith you have had with me for the last eight months. The same faith I have with you right now.

Singles Match
Masterful Michael Karver vs. Mike Corral

Daniel: Folks, we’re set now for the battle of the Mikes

Max: Part two! Or three, I can’t remember, but I do know this is not the first time

“Kashmir” hits the speakers, as Michael Karver walks out, to a thunderous applause

Mina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first… “Masterful” Michael Karver!

Daniel: The only man not to be pinned throughout the entire Tournament of Champions

Max: But he doesn’t have the title, does he?

Daniel: He does not, thanks to triple threat rules

Max: Regardless, you know full well Karver wants revenge

The less classy sounding “Orgasmatron” fills the arena, as Mike Corral literally jumps from the back, full of spark and energy

Mina: And his opponent… Mike “The Saint” Corral!

Max: And just by looking at this kid, you know he’s on fire

Daniel: Mike Corral and Martin Cameron each have a shot at the title of their choice, and you have to believe Corral’s got momentum on his side

Max: I’m calling it right now: Corral in ‘08

Mike Corral slides into the ring, and wastes no time at all before diving with a forearm strike, knocking Michael Karver down. Corral continues hitting the lefts and rights to Karver, but the ref is quick to break Corral off of Karver, telling him that his opponent has to reach his feet. Corral obeys though and waits in the corner in a stance ready for Karver, who is slowly starting to crawl along the mat and over to the ropes.

Max: What I tell you? Fire in this kid’s belly

Karver has now reached the ropes and is slowly reaching a vertical position, Corral still in the corner waiting to strike Karver. A few more seconds…and Karver is back to his feet, the ref steps out of the way as Corral runs towards Karver to hit a clothesline, but Karver suddenly ducks and Corral is taken by surprise before turning around and Karver jumps up into the air to hit a dropkick, but Corral moves to the side in a quick reaction as Karver crashes onto the mat. Corral goes to grab Karver by the head and lifts him up, hooking Karver’s arm over his head before lifting him up into the air for a Vertical Suplex, keeping Karver held in the air, as he is about to fall back, but Karver suddenly falls back and counters with a DDT. Quick cover by Karver.

One…

Tw…Kickout by Corral!

Daniel: And the experience of the former champion comes out here

Max: Corral’s gotta be careful, he’s not messing with an amateur

Karver has picked up Corral and is hitting lefts and rights before moving him against the ropes, he reaches his hand back and hits a hard slap to the chest of Corral, before Irish whipping him across the ring, as Corral comes running back, Karver ducks to lift Corral up for a Back Body Drop, but Corral flips over Karver connects with a Sunset Flip, making the cover!

One...

Two...

Karver kicks Corral in the head to break the count in which he then rolls himself and Corral forward to make another cover!

One...

Two...

Th…Corral kicks out!

Daniel: More quick back and forth action from these two

Max: They know each other Daniel

Karver is knocked backwards as both men suddenly rise to their feet and eye each other for a moment, before they start to circle each other around the ring. They go in for a lock-up, and both men move around the ring, Corral being slightly heavier is able to move Karver over to a turnbuckle, where he breaks the lock-up and starts connecting with slaps to the chest of Karver, getting a “WOOOOOOOO!” from the crowd. Corral then mounts Karver and starts hitting lefts and rights, as the crowd count along with the punches, before Corral stops suddenly and wastes no time in wrapping his legs around Karver’s head and taking him down with a Hurricanrana!

Max: At the moment, Corral is in control of this match and has the crowd fully behind him

Daniel: True, but he still better be careful

Corral immediately rises to his feet as does Karver just a few seconds later, who seems to be taken by surprise as Corral kicks Karver in the gut and grabs Karver’s head, looking to twist him around and hit a Spinning Neckbreaker, but Karver pushes Corral away, and Corral is met by a kick to the gut. Karver runs back to the ropes and runs back at Corral to hit a Flying Elbow. Corral falls to the mat but is quickly back up again as Karver runs back at Corral again to attempt to hit another Flying Elbow, but Corral suddenly takes Karver down with an Arm Drag! Both men quickly reach a vertical position again, Karver tries to hit Corral with a right hand, but Corral takes him down with a quick Drop Toe Hold, in which Karver lands onto his face and rolls onto his back. Corral reaches his feet as he quickly runs over to the turnbuckle, he climbs to the top rope and quickly executes a Moonsault that connects…with Karver’s knees! Corral rolls off of Karver holding his back in pain as Karver slowly reaches his feet and moves over to Corral where he starts stomping on Corral with kicks to the stomach.

Max: And now we see experience come into play

Karver has stopped stomping on Corral’s stomach as he rolls him over onto his back towards the ropes, in which Karver stands on Corral’s back and uses the ropes as leverage, which causes Corral to scream out in pain. The ref immediately reacts to this move and shouts at Karver to break the hold, but Karver refuses so the ref begins a count of 5. Karver breaks the hold at four, and just shrugs his shoulders at the ref, while Corral is on the floor, holding his back in pain.

Daniel: Those ropes being used as a weapon

Max: Karver will take every measure possible to win, but he also knows the rules

Daniel: Which is a good change of pace

Karver has now rolled Corral away from the ropes and onto his back, as he measures him up. Karver runs back towards the ropes and rolls forward, landing on Corral with the Rolling Thunder and hooking the leg for the cover

One...

Two...

Thr…Corral kicks out!

Daniel: Another Kickout by Corral

Max: He’s getting better and better

Karver is now on his feet as he grabs Corral by the legs and turns him around to lock in a Boston Crab! Corral continues to scream in pain as Karver starts to apply pressure and keep Corral away from the ropes, but Corral keeps fighting as he inches closer to the ropes, he gets closer and closer, but there is a lot of pressure, and Corral can feel the pain as Karver tries to move away from the ropes.

Daniel: Karver working over that lower back

Max: Targeting a weak spot, takes me back

Daniel: Takes you back to what?

Max: My days as a wrestler?

Daniel: What?

Max: Yeah, all color commentators were once wrestlers. You knew that, didn’t you?

Daniel: Actually, I did not

Corral is almost at the bottom rope, his fingertips almost touching… but with one last burst of strength, Karver brings Corral back away from the ropes and keeps the Boston Crab locked in as Corral screams out even more! The ref asks if Corral wants to quit, Corral waves his hand rapidly in the air, trying not to tap the mat, but Corral screams “No!” and refuses to tap the mat as the crowd cheer him for this, trying to will him on as Corral feeds off the crowd, and screaming with the strength he has, inches towards the ropes, and is almost at the bottom rope. Corral can feel the pain running through his back as with one last burst of strength, he reaches for the bottom rope…and catches it! The cheers of the crowd are louder as the ref starts the count for Karver to break the hold. Karver breaks the hold just after four again as Corral lies face down on the mat, breathing heavily as Karver is lying down on the mat too, slightly exhausted from the strength he had to put in to keep the hold locked on Corral. The ref starts to count both men out.

Max: Karver, once again waiting until the last…

Daniel: What was your ring name?

Max: What?

Daniel: “Mouth of the South-East” Max Stockton?

Max: No, I don’t steal gimmicks

Daniel: Ah, you don’t want to say it on the air

The ref’s count reaches 6 as Corral still lies on the mat, slowly crawling towards the ropes, but Karver has reached his feet as he grabs Corral by the hair and lifts him up, but is met suddenly with an uppercut by Corral. The crowd cheer as Karver is suddenly taken by surprise and Corral is on his feet, slightly rested, but still in pain from his back as Karver turns around and is met with more lefts and rights as Corral is slowly building momentum, but a sudden thumb to the eye from Karver catches Corral. Karver jumps behind, looking for a high angle back drop

Max: Karver, looking ready to…

Daniel: Submission moves or technical?

Max: What?

Daniel: Were you a technical wrestler, or did you focus on submissions

Max: Look, I wasn’t very graceful

Daniel: That doesn’t surprise me

Karver gets ready to lift Corral up…he lifts him up…but Corral breaks out of it! Corral lands behind Karver and as Karver turns around, Corral lifts his leg up for a Roundhouse kick, but Karver is quick to react and catches the leg, but a sudden Enziguiri from Corral takes Karver down!

Max: What a kick by Corral

Daniel: You must not have seen that move in years

Max: (rubbing temples) I see that move almost every week…

Corral, still slightly in pain with his back, but not so much, shakes it off as he walks over to the turnbuckle, he climbs it slowly and arrives at the top, he turns around and looks down at Karver, who is on his back, still stunned from the Enziguiri, signaling that he is ready to hit the Angel’s Halo!

Max: Mike Corral, high in the air

Daniel: High impact move being signaled, he better be careful

Max: …

Daniel: What?

Max: No questions about my high-flying skills?

Daniel: … (laughs)

The crowd is cheering as Corral is ready to hit the Angel’s Halo, he jumps…and connects…successfully! The Halo connects successfully as the fans on the opposite roofs are cheering loudly as Corral goes for the cover!

One...

Two...

Three…

Mina: Here is your winner…

NO! Karver’s foot was on the ropes! The ropes were too close by and Corral thinks he has won it, but the ref points to the ropes as Corral looks shocked, as if he can’t believe it.

Daniel: What a close call there for Michael Karver

Max: No kidding, even Mina thought it was over!

Daniel: I’m telling you, those three counts are getting longer and longer every match

Corral is still surprised, but with his back turned to Karver, who is now in an upright position, he is suddenly taken from behind with a schoolboy pin! Karver covers Corral and holds the top rope as he does so!

One...

Two...

Three… NO! The ref notices the hand of Karver on the ropes and stops the count!

Daniel: Corral got saved out there

Max: Would have been another long three count

Daniel: I don’t know what’s gotten into Karver, but he really wants that win tonight

Karver starts to argue with the ref and is getting annoyed with him, the ref is backed to a corner as Karver continues to shout at him, the ref with his arms up in front of his face pointing at his uniform, threatening that he will disqualify Karver. Karver steps back for a moment, still angry, but as he turns around, he is met with a dropkick from Corral, which sends Karver crashing into the corner, but unfortunately, also knocking out the ref in the process!

Daniel: Oh no, the ref’s out! This can’t be good!

Max: Oh, trust me, it will be good!

Karver stumbles backwards into a waist lock from Corral, who is ready to hit a German Suplex, and is about to lift Karver up, until a low blow suddenly connects with Corral. The waist lock is broken and Corral falls to the mat holding his private area.

Daniel: And a blatant low blow by Michael Karver, with the referee down

Max: He’s taking advantage

Daniel: Oh, I get it

Max: Get what?

Daniel: You were the classic heel, cheat-to-win kinda guy

Karver is outside the ring and is searching under the ring for a weapon of some sort, he searches for a few seconds before he pulls out a weapon and holds it up in the air, a steel chair. Karver looks down at the chair and in the ring at Corral, a grin appearing on his face as he rolls into the ring and grips the chair, ready to do some damage, as he stands over Corral, raising the chair above his head, ready to bring it down…

Daniel: Karver’s snapped!

Suddenly, Corral lifts his legs up and kicks Karver in the chest, knocking him backwards before he could bring the chair down! Karver staggers backwards, as Corral is at a vertical position, and runs at Karver, but Karver sidesteps, and as Corral turns around, the chair smacks Corral on the head and he falls to the mat, busted open as he lies on the mat, breathing heavily. The referee is starting to wake up as Karver quickly gets rid of the evidence and throws the chair outside the ring.

Daniel: What a shot by Karver!

Max: He’s letting that anger and experience come out

The ref slowly reaches his feet as Karver walks over to Corral and lifts him up to his feet, mocking Corral by slapping him in the face. Corral staggers towards the ropes and holds on to the top rope, the blood pouring down his face after the chair shot, but the emotion can be seen clearly, Corral is aware of what just happened. Behind the blood on his face, Corral looks angry, and a chair shot couldn’t keep this man down! But the stronger Karver is able to grab Corral by the hair, getting ready to hit the GFE

Max: It’s over

Karver is ready to hit his finisher, but Corral drops behind Karver! The crowd cheer loudly as Corral twists Karver’s left arm and prepares to hit the Holy Cross, but an elbow from Karver to the head suddenly stops Corral, who stumbles around as Karver crouches down in a stance, ready to hit a spear. Corral stumbles around some more, still slightly shook from the chair, but standing nonetheless, however, he turns around and Karver charges to hit a spear…and connects…with nothing! Corral side-stepped at the last second as Karver somehow brought himself to a halt before connecting with the turnbuckle! Suddenly, Corral puts his left arm under Karver’s left shoulder, as he grabs Karver’s head with his right hand, setting up for the Triple X…which connects! The crowd is on their feet on the opposite roofs as Corral connects with the Triple X!

One…

Two…

Three…

Mina: … Here is your winner… Mike Corral!

Daniel: Corral did it, defeating Karver with the Triple X

Max: Looks like Corral got the best of Karver tonight

Daniel: What else do we have in store tonight?

“The Prisoner” by Iron Maiden hits over the P.A and Jamie Parker walks purposefully from the back. He strolls straight to the ring, not acknowledging the fans without outstretched arms along the ramp. He steps between the ropes and motions to the announce table to get him a mic, which he duly receives.

Since you are all here, I assume you are all aware of what happened last week at the Tournament of Champions. For those of you are not aware, allow me to fill you in. While on the way to the ring for my tag match, I was attacked from behind by Sky Ryder and Forsaken, leaving me with a suspected broken ankle. As you can see, my ankle is perfectly fine, and I wrestled a match on Live this week and it held up perfectly well. Yet, I’m not here tonight to talk about Sky Ryder and Forsaken. I bare them no grudges for what they did, because it wasn’t that long ago that I would have done exactly the same thing to try and get ahead.

No, the real reason I am out her tonight is something entirely different. I want to talk about my entrance music. I know! It may seem a bit odd, but just gimme a second and let me explain. The song that I come here too each and every week has suddenly taken on new meaning to me. Let’s think about the intro voices and what they actually say. Firstly, “we want information.” Well, as a matter of fact, I do want information. I want to know what the hell is happening with Scorch for one thing, or how much longer we are going to be subjected to partial booking for another.

Then we move on to something else. “Who are you? The new number 2” Ah, whatever could I possibly want to talk about here? Well, how about the newest member of Royalty. The jumped up little manager who thinks with a superiority complex. I wonder who James could have seen when he looked at 2? A slight hint of himself perhaps? Well, there’s one thing to remember here and it’s that 2 is not as invincible as he may seem. In fact, it was only a few weeks ago that yours truly inflicted his first defeat in some time on him and ended his little winning streak.

“Who is number one?” Well, that’s a very good question indeed. You see, a very talented guy once said something that applies here. You may have heard of him, his name is Ric Flair and he said that to be the man you have to beat the man. So now, the way I see it, that hasn’t happened here in WPW. We see James Moriarty Cassius once more sitting on his perch as the WPW champion, yet he didn’t manage to beat the champ to get there. That, to me anyway, makes him a hollow champion. Until Cassius actually defeats the champion, that championship will be as worthless as Neville Chamberlain’s proclamation of peace in our time.

“You are number six!” Ah, a comment on my own current standing, perhaps? Really, can’t say that I’m overly bothered. In recent weeks, I have only myself to blame for the performances I’ve put in, and the results that have transpired because of them.

“I am not a number, I am a free man” This right here is the crux of what I want to talk about here this evening. Well, that and the reaction that these words get in the song. What is a free man? Am I a free man? Are you all free men? Well, the answer is probably one that can’t be defined with any set criteria, but I’ll give a few examples. Those within the occupied countries during World War II who fought to overthrow the Nazis at great personal risk were free men. Those who fought for the civil rights movement were free men. Those who give their lives to avert terrorist attacks are free men. So, in essence the free men are those who resist. In WPW terms, the free men are the Resistance. And in that song, what reaction does the proclamation of being a free man invoke? It invokes laughter. So, there we have my main point! The Resistance is seen as one big joke!

Now, you may wonder why I, as a prominent and proud member of The Resistance, would say such a thing. The answer is simply that I endeavour to resist Royalty, and not the truth. Let’s look at a brief history of resistance, shall we? The first incarnation was led by The One, who became so caught up in trying to play the role of Stone Cold Steve Austin to Carlos’ Vince McMahon, that he lost sight of what Resistance was supposed to be about. He made it a personal war between Carlos and himself and let Cassius and crew flourish instead of nipping it in the bud. Then the mantle, along with the WPW title, passed to Scorch. In spite of his best efforts, the Tournament of Champions negated any possible chance he had to effect either his won title reign or the existence of Royalty. Let’s face it, it’s not as if Cassius or Judge defended their titles during that time, and Royal Knight was busy at the orthodontist every week after getting his teeth kicked out by yours truly. Now, under our current guise it appears the responsibility has passed to Mike. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like and respect Mike as a friend, as a member of resistance and as my tag team partner, but the last time he ran something was when he ran PCW and we all know how that turned out.

So, now let’s look a little deeper behind Resistance’s shortcomings. I’m going to let you in on a little secret and you have to promise not to tell anyone. You see, back there, behind those curtains, there are a whole bunch of WPW wrestlers. Of course, you all know that, but what you may not know is that there are also a bunch of writers. While each and every match has its outcome decided by the quality of the promos that each wrestler puts out in the days leading up to the match, those writers decide how the match will play out. The also decide what segments we use in the shows, what the commentators say and so on. Now, here’s the controversial part. Each and every one of those writers has a massive hard on for Royalty, from Cassius, through Judge, to Royal Knight and now 2, although they may need to be delicate about where they put their hard ons with him since it looks like he might break in two any second. No pun intended. And, while they are all back there jerking off over Royalty, not one of them actually gives a shit about Resistance. So, whenever one of the Royalty members have a match, Daniel and Max here will, without fail, mention Royalty and drone on endlessly about it. On the other hand, if a Resistance member has a match, we’re lucky if the group gets a fleeting mention. Royalty are always booked together to make them seem like a dominant force, whereas tonight I was told Adams and Dreamer couldn’t come to the ring with me. Of course, if the guys back there had any idea what I was going to say, I doubt I’d have been allowed to come out here either.

So, what to do about it? Well, there’s been a lot of talk in this country over the past few weeks about a platform for change. Obama, Clinton, Edwards, Jokester, Guiliani, they all want to bring us change in the world of American politics. What I want to usher in is an era of change in WPW backstage politics, and with your support and the support of my Resistance colleagues we can do that. But, unlike the politicians I’m not really prepared to sit around talking about it until November and then do nothing until January of next year. So, next week, live on TNT, I’m offering a challenge for a one on one match with any member of Royalty. And when I beat them, it will be the beginning of a wind of change blowing through these parts.

Parker drops the mic and walks to the back, slapping hands as he goes.

The scene opens up on Tag Team Champion The Judge, looking straight down a camera on the WPW interview set. He looks weighted in his mind, but soon ebgins to show us what his thoughts really are.

Judge: Tell me, everyone who has been nagging me in the streets... Do I look sad that I was the one who got pinned for the WPW title? I am most certainly not. I am a free man because of it. I didn’t fall and burn like so many people have, and this week, in no more than a few hours, I will have destroyed my second team in WPW. First J&J, then D&D. I’ll still be a title holder and I’m not going to see the green eyed monster whenever I look at my partner JM...

??: Green eyes of Jealousy.

The Judge turns around and is met by none other than Gunnar Brian.

Brian: I doubt very much that there wasn’t a battle in your head, a debate as to whether you would prefer to be WPW champion or friends with the WPW champion. It’s how the likes of your mind works.

Judge: How my mind works? Everyone’s mind works like that.

Brian: not mine. Mine no longer has that battle, any sort o battle, it is of purpose and ordered calm.

Gunnar looks at Judge with a slightly vacant look, but driven with purpose down the eyebrows, looking right at Judge.

Brian: My purpose is to undo all that is wrong with WPW.

Judge: And am I what’s wrong with WPW?

Brian: Yes, You are.. But for now you’re not my concern. I’m starting with the bottom and moving up. You’re not important. I just wanted to say I will have a new victim very soon, someone whose wrongs will be rewritten. Could be you. Could be anyone who has wronged. But goodbye for now.

Brian turns and leaves the set, leaving judge alone, muttering to himself.

Judge: I’m not important... Pah... shows how much he knows!

Hardcore Title Match
2 vs. Brock Goodman

Max: You ready to see some bloodshed Danny?

Daniel: I reall wish you wouldn't sound so enthusiastic about the thought of blood Max.

Max: I can't help it Danny. These two men nearly killed each other last week, and no they can do it again this week!!

Mina: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WPW Hardcore Championship. Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, and weighing in at 190lbs, he is the Hardcore and Florida State Champion, The King of Royalty, 2!!!

"Walking through barbed wire" plays and 2 walks out onto the stage slowly, Hardcore Title wrapped around his waist as the Florida State Title is secure over his shoulder. He looks up into the crowd and walks slowly down to the ramp with his hands in his pockets. He walks round the ring, towards the steps and 2 then goes up the steps and between the top two ropes before climbing up to the second turnbuckle, grabbing onto the top rope and slouching over he just glares into the crowd around and then does so again on the turnbuckle across.

Mina: And his opponent, from Sin City, and weighing in at 295lbs, he is the former Florida State Champion, BROCK GOODMAN!

‘Sweet Dreams’ kicks in and the opening on the stage is surrounded in fire as it drips down to the stage Brock walks out in a jacket with a hood that trails to the floor. As he walks down the ramp toward the ring a ball of fire shoots up after he passes each area on the ramp. He then steps into the ring and as he removes his hood quickly fire erupts from the turnbuckle posts. Goodman tosses his hooded top out of the ring and down to the arena floor before turning to face 2 who is stood in the corner across from Goodman. 2 merely holds up the Florida State Title as if to say "Is this yours?" Goodman looks likes he's about to kill before suddenly stopping, pointing at the Hardcore Title that's in the ref's hands right now. The referee signals for the bell and this one is

underway.

Max: You know Danny, if 2 wins this match, it'll be only a week away to exactly 6 months to the day that 2 originally won the title from Matthew Clark.

Daniel: But if Brock Goodman can somehow stop 2 tonight, 2 can kiss that dream goodbye.

The crowd is on their feet, anxious to see the two rivals fight as they approach the center of the ring and engage in a long stare down. Although outmatched in size and strength, 2 shows no fear looking back at 6’5” monster; and while Goodman has that for an advantage, his serious expression shows that he isn’t taking 2 lightly. 2 starts things by shoving Goodman, which hardly moves the colossus. Goodman returns with a shove of his own that sends 2 backwards and onto the ground. 2 though is quick to his feet and charges to his opponent. He catches Goodman off guard as he leaps and smashes his elbow against Goodman’s forehead, sending him into a daze. The crowd is shocked as they watch 2 take the fight to Goodman, hitting him with hard rights to the head and backing him against the ropes on the left side of the ring. Their dismay changes to delight though as Goodman begins fighting back with punches of his own. The blows break through 2's attempt to guard himself, and it isn’t long before he finds himself in the top right ring corner, where Goodman continues to take the fight to him.

Daniel: And just when 2 seemed to have the early advantage, Brock Goodman takes control of the match.

Max: I’ll admit that that wasn’t the best way to start the match for 2. I mean, Brock Goodman is a brawler. This is his element Danny. You don't mess with somebody in a situation where they feel comfortable.

Goodman continues to assault 2 and looks to top it off with a big haymaker. The only thing he hits however, is the top turnbuckle pad as 2 quickly dodges the attack. Just as Goodman turns around to face his opponent, 2 stuns him with a sharp kick to the back of the leg. The sound from the impact rings throughout the area and 2 follows it up with a series of kicks to the thigh of Maelstrom; each shot weakening the big man to the point where he is almost has one knee to the ground.

Max: That’s how you take down a big man! Go for the legs. Cut off his mobility and use your speed to the advantage. Well played by The King.

Daniel: You're really going to use that stupid nickname. I can't believe it.

With Goodman favoring his leg in the center of the ring, 2 hits the ropes and after using them for added speed, heads back to Goodman and attempts to hit him with the Shining Wizard. Goodman is able to recover at the last second and avoids the knee. He stands up straight and grabs 2 by the neck with one hand, obviously looking to go for a chokeslam. Just as he is about to lift his opponent up, 2 gets in a eye rake, once again stunning Goodman much to the crowd’s disapproval. 2 hits the ropes again and hits Goodman with a flying clothesline that sends Goodman reeling backwards to the ropes behind him. This however allows him to use the ropes for support and as soon as he recovers, Goodman pushes himself off the ropes and floors 2 with a hard clothesline. The crowd applauds as Goodman looks down at the dazed 2. Goodman drags him up to his feet by the hair and performs an Irish whip to the ropes. As 2 returns to the center of the ring, Goodman connects with a huge back body drop. Holding his back in pain, 2 gets back to his feet and staggers towards the ropes. Just as he turns around to face his opponent, Goodman is already rushing towards him and knocks him over the top rope and out of the ring with a stiff lariat. As 2 gets to his feet, Goodman comes off the turnbuckle with a BIG crossbody that takes 2 down hard. The audience starts chanting "HOLY SHIT!" as both men lie on the mat, feeling the effects of the move.

Daniel: What a move! Brock Goodman putting everything on the line tonight! Taking out both 2 with a big crossbody!

Max: Danny, we just witnessed a 6’5”, near 300 pound behemoth move like a cruiserweight! I hate to admit it, but what an athlete Goodman is!

Goodman is the first to get up and shakes off the weariness from his attack. He drags 2 back up to his feet and whips him into the barricade surrounding ringside. Goodman follows up with running big boot to the face that sends 2 over the barricade and into the audience area. Goodman himself hops over the barricade and the troops go wild as Goodman continues to assault 2 through the crowd. It isn’t long before the two make their way to a higher platform that a bunch of fans were using to get a better view of the action. Goodman hits 2 with a hard right to the jaw, sending the Flor-Hard Champion reeling in front of the platform. Goodman follows and clubs 2 in the back. He sets 2 up for the Final Resting Place, which the audience vocally announce their approval for. Unfortunately, 2 connects with a low blow. With Goodman stunned from the cheap shot, 2 follows up with a DDT to the floor. As he catches his breath, 2 looks over to the platform feet away from he and Goodman, specifically the rail. He stands up and approaches the platform and climbs to the top of it just as Goodman begins to get back to his feet. Standing before the rail leading towards Goodman and after a deep breath, 2 runs forward. In a amazing display of balance and agility, 2 quickly tightrope runs down the rail and leaps off before the end and hits Goodman with flying forearm ala AJ Styles.

Max: This is why 2 is one of the top stars in WPW today Danny! Athleticism and risk combined to create damaging power!

Goodman is staggered, while 2 mocks his opponent before kicking him in the gut. The crowd jeers but 2 is anything but interested in fan approval. Goodman eventually gets to his feet but only to discover re-energized 2 on the attack. The two men brawl some more through the fans watching. As they go a small cloud of sand follows them. The camera switches to a new angle just in time to see 2 have a punch blocked and then get hurled over the railing by Goodman. Brock follows after his opponent and lifts him up and slams him over the railing, one half in the crowd. Goodman gives a shrug at 2 predicament before booting him across the face sending him tumbling to the floor outside the ring. The fans give a cheer as Goodman grabs his opponent and shoves him back inside the ring. Suddenly, Royal Knight comes from out of nowhere and clocks Goodman from the blindside with a hard clothesline. Caught unaware, Goodman is out on the side of the ring and RK shoves him inside. 2 rolls over and gets up as Goodman tries to regain his bearings and connects with a low dropkick followed by a high leaping legdrop. 2 covers …

1...

2... Goodman shoves 2 off forcefully and gets back to his feet. 2, in no mood to complain, watches his opponent carefully as he stands before dropping forward chop blocking the already weakened leg of Goodman. Goodman drops to his knees as 2 continues his assault on the leg with more kicks before grabbing it and applying a kneebar. Goodman struggles with the hold before thumping 2 off and getting back to his feet only for 2 to swoop low and apply the 2Tapornot2!

Max: This is smart wrestling Cole, working that leg like a true professional!

Daniel: But can 2 really stop Goodman this way? So many times Goodman has come back from seemingly impossible situations! Remember Full Force Max?

Max: Umm....

Daniel: It was our second PPV for crying out loud!!

As Max struggls to remember, 2 drags Maelstrom to the centre of the ring and has the ankle lock applied perfectly. Goodman is in trouble as he tries to bypass the pain but his face tells a tale of frustration. The referee hovers nearby asking Goodman if he has had enough but each time he shakes his head as he edges closer to the ropes. 2 applies more pressure and almost looks like he might tear the ankle off but Brock refuses to bow and claws at the ring floor towards the ropes. 2 senses the danger and pulls Goodman back and then drops to the ground locking the hold in with his legs!

Max: That’s it Danny! Goodman is done for!! Not only has the King got him dead center of the ring, but he has also scissored the move into a grapevine. No escape Danny! No escape!

Daniel: Brock has to be in immense pain right now Max. 2 has been working that leg from the get-go, and now we see why!

Indeed, Goodman can’t go anywhere now and 2 is desperate for him to tap as is RK, who bellows for Goodman to tap out as well. The crowd though is firmly on Goodman’s side and slam the railings in unison to give hope to their superstar. Goodman’s face shows one of grit as using his upper body he pushes off the ground, and in one sheer power surge he flips over taking 2 with him!

Daniel: Oh My!! Would you look at the power Max?

Max: ....

Daniel: Er … Max?

Now 2 is face down on the mat and Goodman easily disentangles himself from the hold and clobbers 2 over the back of the head much to the joy of the fans. RK can’t believe it and gets up on the apron only for Goodman to knock him back down with a hard right. Goodman gets to his feet but the leg is clearly hurting as he limps with his walk. 2 is also back up and tries to attack Goodmans leg again but Goodman knows it and locks his arms around 2 waist and hits a gutwrench suplex. 2 gets back up but only in time to meet Goodman for another Gutwrench suplex! Brock with the cover …

1 …

2 …

Thre- 2 kicks out and tries to escape up the turnbuckle after a quick thumb to the eye. 2 takes a bit too long though as Goodman catches him in a ‘Ric Flair’ predicament. 2 shakes his head not wanting to be thrown and Goodman relents, before grabbing him by the throat and chokeslamming him off the turnbuckle!! The fans cheers are loud and wild!

Max: Look at that blatant cheating by Goodman, fooling 2 before nearly killing him with that chokeslam!

Goodman falls into the cover.

3...

Ropebreak!! No, RK has placed 2's foot on the ropes!

Max: Haha, you gotta love it Danny. Royalty doing whatever it takes to make sure one of its own remain champion!

Daniel: This is bullshit Max, and you know it. Something has to be done about Royal Knight, otherwise 2 is going to walk out as champion!

Goodman is not happy and heads outside to confront a rapidly retreating Royal Knight. Goodman calls for him to bring it and RK changes his tone as he heads towards Maelstrom. 2 is back up and seeing Goodman with his back to him outside of the ring grabs the ropes and propels himself over … No Wait!! Goodman saw it and 2 collides with Royal Knight taking him out! 2 shakes his head and lifts Goodman up and throws him back in the ring. RK groggily gets up and points a finger at Goodman, only for Goodman to look behind 2.

Daniel & Max: OH MY GOD!!!

It’s Jesse Long!!! One chair shot later and Royal Knight is dreaming of nothing but the Karver Dojo. Long heads for the back as Goodman nods a thanks before heading almost on one foot back into the ring. As Goodman gets to his feet, he finds a tired but determined 2 staring a hole through him. Goodman crunches his knuckles as these two men give it one last all or nothing attack to finish this!

Max: Here we go Danny. This is going to decde who walks out Hardcore Champion.

Goodman and 2 waste no time as they pound on one another neither combatant’s punches having the same effect as they did at the start of the match. 2's hair is drenched with sweat as he counters Goodman's punch into an armtwist only for him to nearly have his head taken off by a vicious clothesline! Goodman holds his leg in pain before signaling for the For Now, Sleep! The crowd begins to get restless as Goodman stalks 2 who is getting back up.

Daniel: This could be it!

Max: NO MY KING!! STRIKE BACK!!

Goodman lashes out with a boot to the gut, no! 2 caught it and spins him round and tries to go for the 2Die4, but Goodman lifts 2 off the ground at the headlock stage and slams him into the mat with little finesse! 2 clutches his back as Goodman drops an elbow and tries for a simple end to the match with a cover.

1 …

2 …

3 … 2 has none of it though at the last minute. Goodman brings 2 up with him and possibly looks for a Final Resting Place, but 2 is too quick and lashes out with a sick enzuigiri right to the face ! Goodman reels into the ropes, barely standing. 2 asks for applause but gets none before signaling for a.. Busaiku Knee Kick?! 2 waits for Goodman who's using the ropes to stand. 2 is about to hit it... NO! Goodman has blocked the move with sheer force! 2 can’t believe it as he is shoved away head over heels! Goodman favoring his good leg calls for 2 to try again but 2 is not so keen. A barely coherent Royal Knight hurls the discarded chair towards 2 to use, but Goodman catches it in mid-flight and chucks it away, an evil grin on his face. 2 seeing this as his opportunity anyway charges forward and connects!! The Busaiku Knee Kick!! Goodman stands on the spot for a second before falling down hard!

Max: And there it is Danny! The reign of the King shall continue!!

Goodman is down as the referee makes the cover...

1...

2...

2.9999....

3...!!

NO!! Goodman got a shoulder up! 2 looks up in shock!! He cannot believe what has happened and grabs the referee by the shirt arguing for the three and the bell. 2 seething turns back to Goodman who is getting back up ... he signals once again for the 2Die4. Goodman gets up, dazed and confused as 2 starts to size him up.

Daniel: If 2 can manage to get Brock Goodman up, it'll be nothing short of a miracle.

Max: He's the King Danny. He can do whatever he wants!

2 grabs Goodman and places him in a Reverse DDT position before making a cut-throat motion. As 2 goes to lift Brock, Brock switches his position so that 2 now has a DDT hold before lifting 2 up and slamming him down with a Spinebuster!! Goodman gets up and roars at the audience, grabs 2 and lifts up over his shoulders, looking for that Final Resting pLace he;s been trying to hit the entire match. Goodman has him for the crucifix... but 2 manages to slide out and kicks the injured leg. With Goodman on one knee, 2 quickly rushed towards the ropes before coming back with a sick knee to the face that knocks him tot he floor. With Goodman down again, 2 heads to the turnbuckle … he climbs up and leaps off with a beautiful Number 2 Special which connects! 2 doesn’t go for the pin and heads to the turnbuckle again, he points at Brock and shouts out "I am your King!" at the fans who boo him. 2 gets to the top... wait, Goodman has somehow got to his feet and shaken the ropes, causing 2 to crotch himself on the turnbuckle! Goodman backs up a bit before running full force, catching 2 with a jumping European Uppercut before climbing the turnbuckle as well.

Daniel: This will not end well...

2 is still in pain from his loss of balance and can do little as Goodman sets him up for the Repentance!!
Max: No... Nooo! He can’t do that!!!

Goodman is about to leap off when 2 suddenly hits him in the head with brass knuckles!! Goodman releases 2 before crotching himself on the turnbuckle. 2 quickly hops off before climbing the second rope, holding Goodman's head in a reverse DDT.

Daniel: Oh my God... this is the same move that put Matthew Clark out for so long!!

Max: Yes!! Reign over the peasent my King!!

2 with a huge 2Die4 as the entire ring shakes!! 2 drapes a hand over Goodman as the ref counts the pinfall...

1 …

2 …

3....!

Max: YES!! YES!!!

"Walking Through Barbed Wire" plays as 2 just les on the mat, the effects of the match taking it's toll right now. A dazed Royal Knight enters the ring and helps 2 to his feet as Mina makes it offical.

Mina: Here is your winner, and STILL Hardcore Champion, TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The ref hands 2 both of his belts as Royal Knight helps him through the ropes. Goodman has not moved at all since the 2Die4 as 2 and the Royal Knight make their way to the back.

The scene opens up on David Nicolls and Desmond Troy, getting ready for their battle with JMC & The Judge. They are wearing matching ring attire and are preparing themsleves. a Voice over of Tom Zenk plays on a neaby stereo, mumbling for a while then yelling DROPKICK! every few second, it is apparently taped over an old natural rexation tape as harp music soft drums and waterfalls are heard behind every scream of DROPKICK!

Desmond: Ready to go?

David: As I’ll ever be!

Desmond: What does that mean?

David: You know, as “I’ll ever be”... Look, we’ve got drive, right?

Desmond: Yeah...

David: We’ve got determination and we’ve got hunger better than JMC and Judge. And we’ve got to win if we ever want to tag again! We have inspiration, We have been coached every day this week leading up to this match. If ever was it time to win, it’s now.

Desmond: So it’s all in now!

David: It should always be all in, old buddy. But yes, this time is bigger than the rest! Because if we lose, we’re no longer a Team. But if we win.. we break up JMC and Judge.. THEY will no longer be a team!

Desmond: Really?

David: Yeah, I don’t think they totally realise that part of their deal. But can you imagine that, we take the titles and No more Judge & JMC to worry about.. EVER! Now is that motivation?

Desmond Smiles to himself

Desmond: It is! Let’s get going! Soon, Royalty will be no more.

David : All thanks to one great power. Dropkick! Well the matching uniforms will help too.

Desmond: No doubt about that, and wait did you just call them uniforms. Nobody calls it a uniform. A singlet, trunks, spandex, speedoes, ring attire, any of those, sure, but not uniforms, that is the most absurd thing I have ever…hey, what happened there?

David: What are you talking about?

Desmond: Where did that cut on your back come from?

David: What cut are you talking about, Desmond?

Nicolls turns his body in a circle, briefly revealing a long cut on his back underneath his right shoulder. The cut seems to have begun to scab over somewhat, but still appears to not be done healing.

Desmond: The one on your back right there, where you rocking just a little too hard?

David: Oh, that one. I got that in our match last week. You know, when we beat those six other guys to get this match of ours tonight, the match where we become the new WPW Tag Team Champions.

Desmond: No, I remember the match and you never got cut open.

David: I am telling you, the cut is from the TOC. It should have healed by now though.

Desmond: And I am telling you, when you left the ring, you had no such cut.

David: Use clever closing dialogue here, Desmond. Dropkick…AWAY!!

Troy walks out of the locker room as Nicolls stays behind for a few minutes. The big man reaches his hand back to where his wound is and softly mutters to himself.

David: Dammit.. She told me she wouldn't make it too deep.

Daniel: That Match, Tag Titles and futures of all four men are on the line.. And Guess what Max?

Max: What?

Daniel: It’s NEXT!

Tag Team Title Match
Desmond Troy & David Nicolls vs. James Moriarty Cassius & The Judge

[b]Daniel: Well folks this is the big one!

Max: Indeed it is, one of these teams will be dominant tonight and one will cease to be.

Daniel: On one hand we have the Royalty who is now firmly enshrined as the powerhouses of WPW holding just about all the gold in the company and….

Max: On the other, we have the so-called Team of Excellence, formerly known as Dungeons and Dragons, formerly known as another slapdash thrown together team.

Daniel: Don’t you think you’re being a bit unfair, Max? Troy and Nicolls hold a victory over one of the greatest tag teams of the past five years, the Dream Team. I’m not sure I can count the number of teams on one hand who actually have a win over Dream and Jokester.

Max: Well okay, there’s that. But still they’ve had two chances to best our tag team champions and came up empty both times.

Daniel: Well there’s always that old expression…

Max: What old expression?

Daniel: Jesus. Third time’s the charm.

Max: Oh, well we’ll see. Now they have to beat our current WPW Champion, the task could be even harder.

Daniel: Or easier…

Max: What?

Trumpets blaring cut off Daniel as yellow spotlights shine down upon the entranceway as trumpets keep blaring with a R crest on the banners hanging from each trumpet.

Mina: Ladies and gentlemen it is time for our main event!

A young squire comes running down the ramp and hands Mina a roll of parchment. She looks at him incredulously as he takes the scroll and unrolls it. Mina shakes her head.

Mina: Young squires and ladies, please rise to your feet if you filthy swines can quit gorging yourselves and make haste to clamor for the newly divinated Prince of Cats! Bad Segeburg is where this dual god of gold lays his claim but deep down he also dwells within the hearts, minds, and souls of all who desire to be him, which of course includes everyone in this arena. Please give your plaudits and shower with praise one half of the tag team champions and YOUR WPW Heavyweight champion for the second glorious time, James Moriarty Cassius!

The trumpets blare louder but this time to the tune of “Apocalypse Please” as James steps through with his shiny new WPW Title around his waist and the tag team title over his shoulder. James has a look of disgust on him as he walks down the ramp way sneering at all the little children booing him and flipping him off. As James steps into the ring he unclasps the WPW Title and holds them both in the air and basks in the glow of the yellow and purple spotlights now flooding him and the ring.

Daniel: A bit much, no?

Max: Not for our dual champion.

The trumpeters leave as Mina points for the scroll bearing chap to leave the ring.

Mina: And his partner, from Hollywood, California, he is The Judge!

“Forgive Me” blasts over the loudspeaker followed quickly by the lone yellow spotlight in the center of the stage as Judge appears from behind the curtain holding his WPW Tag Title in his hands and looking down at it. Judge then quickly looks up at his partner in the ring and smiles. Judge then walks down the ramp and joins James in the ring as they clink tag title belts together. They hand their belts to the ref while James prefers to keep the WPW Title on his shoulder for now. Judge does a quick glance at the WPW title before waiting for their opponents.

Max: So why did you think this might be easier than the last two times?

Daniel: I’ll tell you later.

Mina: And their opponents…..

The opening drumbeat to "Warriors of the World" by Manowar begins to play, and after 15 seconds, the voice cut to somewhat abruptly, David Nicolls and Desmond Troy walk out, wearing matching trunks and shirts. After a second to pose, they each walk down along the sides of the barricades, slapping hands with fans. However, they do not stop to look towards them, too focused upon the ring before them, each jumping up to the apron as Judge and James scatter. Then they step in and suddenly rushing out for the ropes, crisscrossing twice before posing in the middle of the ring together, screaming out to the crowd as they pump up for their match.

Mina: At a combined weight of 475 pounds, they are The Team of Excellence, Desmond Troy and David Nicolls!

Daniel: Okay Max, tell me here at first glance which group here looks like the more cohesive unit.

Max: The guys the belts belong to. Shit if you were impressed by that, bear this in mind the Oddities and Head Cheese both had tandem entrances.

Daniel: Fair point.

The bell sounds as Cassius sneaks into the ring to try and attack D and D from behind but they turn around and Cassius slips back outside. Troy and Nicolls circle around each other daring Judge and James to get in the ring. All of a sudden the Royal Knight comes out from the stage and begins walking towards the ring as well. Troy and Nicolls are now trying to keep their eyes on all three men.

Max: It’s like sharks circling a feeding frenzy in that ring.

Royal Knight gets closer to the ring but all of a sudden Mike Adams comes running out from the back and grabs RK by the scruff of his neck and gives him a back elbow.

Max: What the hell is Mike Adams doing here?

Daniel: He’s trying to reform the Resistance and he is still her to take out the Royalty, I guess he just wants to see a fair fight.

Adams chases RK to the back and nods towards Troy and Nicolls. They nod back as Judge and JMC looks upset RK was chased out. Troy and Nicolls jump out side the ring and all four men start brawling with each other. Troy and Nicolls start assaulting Judge and JMC with rights and lefts. Then the Team of Excellence takes the heads of Judge and JMC and ram them together and get back in the ring to posture for the crowd.

Max: Damn it, I wish that ref would get control of this match!

The ref gets one of the challengers to get onto the apron as Nicolls and Troy do rock, paper, scissors to see who starts the match. Nicolls wins and he starts the match up as JMC still holding his head points to the ring for Judge. Judge shrugs and slides into the ring. Judge and Nicolls quickly tie up. Judge Irish whips Nicolls into the ropes and goes for a shoulder block but Nicolls shoulder blocks him right back sending Judge backwards a bit. Nicolls laughs a bit as they tie up again. This time Nicolls whips Judge to the ropes and Judge comes back with a shoulder block that just barely budges Nicolls. This time Judge laughs a bit as both men go to bounce off opposite ropes and when Judge goes for a clothesline instead, Nicolls ducks it runs off the ropes quicker and delivers a running big boot to Judge. Nicolls goes for a quick cover but Judge kicks out at one and rolls to the outside.

Daniel: Wow, that was close. We almost just saw the Royalty break up right there.

Max: Not even close, Judge kicked out really quickly.

Judge gets back up on the apron and steps into the ring with Nicolls looking really ready. Just as Judge is about to tie up he tags in JMC and gets back on the apron. JMC looks at Judge a bit and then steps in the ring.

Daniel: That’s an interesting look between Judge and JMC there. I don’t think the World Champ wanted to be tagged in yet.

Max: The champ is always ready.

JMC gets into the ring and tags Judge right back and hops to the outside. Judge screams at JMC a bit as JMC grabs his neck. Nicolls decides to take matters into his own hands and pulls Judge into the ring over the top rope. Nicolls then pulls Judge up and scoops him up and slams him back down again. Nicolls drags Judge over to his corner and tags in Troy. Troy and Nicolls each grab one of Judge’s legs and make a wish. JMC hops in the ring to try and stop them but then the ref grabs JMC to get him out of the ring and Troy and Nicolls continue to stomp away on Judge afterwards.

Max: James, come on! Get your head in the game here!

Daniel: Looks like the challengers are working a lot better as a team.

Max: It’s still early.

Troy then mounts Judge and begins throwing haymakers, but Judge blocks most of them and is able to throw Troy off and get to his feet quickly. Judge then ties up with Troy and gets Troy into a hammerlock. Troy tries to reach between his legs to counter the hold and then tries to hit a back elbow, but Judge blocks both and kicks the back of Troy’s hamstring while holding the hammerlock. Judge then wraps his arm around the throat of Troy and locks in the chicken wing sleeper very suddenly. Troy tries to struggle to break free as Judge is clamping on the Jail Cell.

Daniel: Wow what a quick move by Judge! Troy didn’t see that coming.

Troy is trying to get to the ropes but bends down and reaches an arm around Judge and grabs him in a back suplex. Both men are down but moving slowly as Troy is holding his throat. Judge crawls over to his corner and tags in James. James quickly runs into the ring and runs and hits Nicolls off the apron, so Troy has no one to tag. JMC then drags Troy back over to his side of the ring. JMC starts to choke Troy to keep the pressure on the neck. The ref goes for a count but JMC breaks at four, and then chokes him again. The ref pulls James off this time and James starts arguing with the ref. Judge then pulls Troy to the ropes and starts standing on the throat of Troy with Troy struggling and gasping for breath.

Max: Who looks like the well oiled machine now?

Daniel: Well the tag champs seem to finally have gotten their rhythm…of cheating back.

Nicolls then jumps in to try and stop them and JMC tells them ref to go stop him. Judge then pulls Troy and gets him crotched on the turnbuckle post. As Judge perches himself holding Troy against the post, JMC quickly hops to the top rope and performs a double stomp right to the chest of Troy. Judge lets go quickly as he gets back on the apron and JMC uses momentum from the ropes to give a face wash to the side of Troy’s cheek. JMC then tags in Judge again as they pick Troy up and Irish whip him into the ropes. Both Judge and JMC goes for a backbody drop but Troy stops himself and clubs JMC in the back and underhooks both of Judge’s arms.

Max: No! No way!

Daniel: What resourcefulness by Troy to block the momentum.

Troy then lifts Judge up and nails his double underhook backbreaker but then both men go down. Nicolls start clapping and cheering for Troy to get up. Troy isn’t moving as JMC is forced to leave the ring as he gets up because he isn’t the legal man. Nicolls is reaching out as much as he can for Troy, but Troy is just barely moving.

Daniel: you won’t see very many times where the match doesn’t end on that Welcome to Chicago, Mother…

Max: Shut your mouth!

Daniel: Thanks, forgot we were on cable.

Troy is starting to feel the energy from the fans as he is moving slowly. Judge is also getting slowly to his feet as the ref is counting both men down. The ref gets to eight but Judge lunges forwards and tags JMC. James quickly runs in but Troy reaches out and tags Nicolls. Nicolls comes in on a house of fire and knocks down James with several big right hands. Judge then goes after Nicolls but he receives an inverted atomic drop for his troubles. JMC then charges at but receives a spine buster sending JMC to the mat, JMC rolls outside the ring as Nicolls goes back to Judge. Nicolls kicks Judge in the gut and delivers a few big blows to Judge’s back before hitting a vertical suplex. Nicolls is getting extremely pumped up and goes to look outside the ring to see where JMC is. As Nicolls leans over the top rope JMC smashes him right in the face with a steel chair, in clear sight of the referee.

Daniel: Oh what the hell?

Max: Not only is he our champion, but he is our chairman as well!

The ref calls for the bell as Troy looks flabbergasted. Troy hops in the ring to try and help Nicolls up. Judge rolls out of the ring as JMC runs and grabs the titles from Mina and goes to run up the ramp.

Daniel: No! Not like this!

The ref goes and shouts something to Mina as she grabs the microphone.

Mina: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has disqualified the Royalty, there fore your winners are the Team of Excellence! However, since the titles cannot change hands and the stipulations were that whichever team was not the champions had to disband….

Carlos Gonzalez appears on the TNTron.

Carlos: Stop right there Miss Mina. Listen James, you may think you have all the power around here…well you’re wrong. You see this match is too important for it to end on a bullshit disqualification. So you get back in that ring, both of you. And if you try something stupid like that again, you will LOSE those tag team championships.

JMC and Judge are pissed and screaming at each other. JMC throws down the title belt as does Judge as they are still screaming at each other. They both turn around to see Troy and Nicolls on the top ropes. Everything seems to freeze up for a moment as both Troy and Nicolls leap off the top rope and land missile DROPKICKS! Right in the face of the Royalty.

Daniel: Oh wow!

Max: Oh crap! The Z-Men live!

Daniel: Those were two very large men doing some high impact missile dropkicks to the floor and they caught James and Judge flush on the jaw.

Troy and Nicolls get back up to their feet and pick up JMC. Nicolls tells Troy to hold James as he wants payback for the trickle of blood coming down his forehead. Nicolls hops up onto the apron as Troy holds JMC up in a double arm chicken wing hold. Nicolls flies off the apron and as he grabs JMC’s head and drives it to the mat, Troy lets go as James’ head bounces against the concrete. Troy and Nicolls then both get back up and pull Judge to his feet. Judge tries to fight them both off by swinging wildly, but as Judge is fighting back, Nicolls lands a big knee strike. Nicolls then rolls Judge back in the ring as David slides in and goes for a quick cover. Judge gets a shoulder up at two and half. Nicolls presses Judge’s shoulder back to the mat and hooks both legs, but Judge still gets a shoulder up.

Max: Look at the tenacity of Judge here! He will not stay down!

Daniel: Nicolls might be getting a bit frustrated here.

Nicolls goes and tags Troy who is back on the apron and Troy and Nicolls pick Judge up and whip him into the ropes. JMC is slowly crawling his way back to the apron on the outside JMC pulls Judge’s legs and drags him to the outside again, to save him from the double-team. Nicolls and Troy go run outside and all four men start brawling again. Nicolls Irish whips JMC into the apron, and Troy goes to do the same thing but Judge reverses the whip and sends Troy shooting into the apron as he smashes his lower back against the ring apron.

Max: A pair of vicious Irish whips into the ring apron now leave Nicolls and Judge alone right next to each other.

Daniel: These guys had better be careful the ref has started his count.

Judge quickly turns around and nails Nicolls down with a clothesline and goes to work on Troy some more. Judge runs in and nails a running knee to the gut of Troy. Nicolls is slowly trying to crawl around the ring as the ref is up to 4. Judge gets up onto the apron and pulls Troy up with him. Judge nails a few knee strikes to the chest before hooking the head of Troy in a front face lock as the ref is up to 7. Nicolls is trying to crawl up the stairs to help but is too late as Judge hits a vicious Dark DDT right on the apron. Judge laugh to himself as he look down at Troy as the ref is at nine. Judge looks to roll back in but Nicolls run off the apron and hits yet another vicious Zenk-like dropkick right to the chest of Judge as the ref gets to 10!

Daniel: Oh no.

Max: Oh yes! What an idiot! Nicolls just ended this match in a draw! That means Royalty retains!

As Max is doing a little dance at the announce booth, Mina seems to be getting a message on her ear piece.

Mina: Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, I’ve just been informed by WPW owner Carlos Gonzalez that this match is now no countouts, there will be a winner!

Max stops doing his little dance as JMC is slowly getting to his feet. JMC rolls back into the ring as gets up to his feet. JMC sees outside that both Nicolls and Troy are struggling to get to his feet, and Judge has crawled out of the way of them. JMC then runs towards the ropes and springboards to the outside and nails a huge flipping Scottish Play on both members of the Team of Excellence as they are just getting to their feet. The crowd starts chanting JMC! JMC! And hating themselves for it.

Daniel and Max: Oh my God!

Daniel: What a high-flying move by our champion!

Max: Oh so now he’s our champion?

Daniel: When he reminds us what athleticism he used to have I will accept him as our champion.

Judge gets up and helps JMC to his feet who appears to be a bit loopy.

Max: Well there goes your little theory, they are truly the best team ever. Why did you think it would be easier for D and D anyway?

Daniel: Well I’m just thinking that Judge would really like that other title Cassius has around his waist. Plus I’m sure a cerebral guy like Judge hasn’t forgotten that during that fiasco in the ToC semis, JMC didn’t come out to help his Royal bretheren.

Max: Ancient history, water over the dam, it’s done and over with.

Judge and JMC roll their opponents into the ring and it appears the ref is now being a little lax with the rules as a DQ causes a title change and there are no countouts. JMC tosses Troy in the corner and starts beating him with rapid elbows. While Judge has just pulled Nicolls to his feet. Judge lands a hard knee right into the small of the back of David and clamps on the Dragon Sleeper.

Daniel: Well I guess you were right Max, this is it. Judge has that Fade to Black locked in tight.

Max: Ha ha! I told you! Royalty keeps all their gold here tonight!

JMC smirks when he sees Judge lock in the hold and decides to put a cherry on top. JMC sits on the top turnbuckle and pulls Troy close and nails a few knee lifts to the chest. Nicolls is flailing around in the hold and tries to use the ropes to break Judge’s grip but he just pushed Judge further into the center of the ring. JMC hooks the head of Troy and swings around going for the Pound of Flesh. As JMC swings around with a huge smile on his face his legs accidentally fly in the face of Judge and catch him in the face, it’s not full on contact but Judge releases the grip a little bit. JMC completes the DDT and rolls out to the ring to grab their titles and already starts celebrating by mocking the crowd.

Daniel: What an arrogant prick he ha become.

Max: I like it.

Nicolls notices the grip loosening ever so slightly as he gets Judge back towards the ropes and scales up the ropes.

Daniel: This is what Jokester tried in their match!

Max: And it failed then too, just like this will.

Daniel: I don’t know, Judge’s gripped got loosened a lot due to the inadvertent shot by JMC.

David flips into the air and Judge’s grip completely loosens as Nicolls breaks the hold. Judge’s eyes widen as he sees Nicolls flip over him. Troy quickly locks in a reverse headlock and nails a huge backdrop driver right on Judge’s head.

Daniel: Nicollback! Nicollback!

Nicolls rolls up Judge hooking both legs as the ref slides over to make the count as JMC is still celebrating not looking at the ring.

1.…………………….

JMC has just turned around assuming Judge hit the Fade to Judgment DDT, and mouth a profanity.

2.…………………….

JMC slides in the ring to break up the pin.

3.…………………….!

JMC just misses breaking up the pin as he is lying face down right in front of Nicolls who lets go of Judge’s leg as “Warriors of the World” starts playing but almost seems drowned out by the screaming.

Max: No!!!

Daniel: Yes!!! We have new tag team champions!

Mina: Here are you winners, and NEWWWWWWWWW WPW Tag Team Champions, Desmond Troy and David Nicolls, the Team of Excellence!!!!

The ref grabs the titles and hands them to David and Desmond as David gets up and helps Desmond to his feet. David smiles as he looks at his partner, Desmond finally realzies what is in his hands as his eyes light up. Both men raise their arms in the air as they bail out to the floor and walk to the back still holding each others arms up, with their new titles in hand.

Daniel: Third time is the charm Maxie Boy!

Max: Oh shut up.

JMC gets up to his knees as he is handed his WPW Title belt. JMC looks down at the World title and smiles until he sees Judge getting back up. Judge looks up at James and James’ smile fades right away as he helps Judge to his feet. JMC can be shown looking very apologetic. Judge throws JMC’s arm off of him and asks what happened. JMC goes into a quick explanation using the word accident several times, as Judge is shaking his head looking less and less mad. JMC then drops the title mouths “I’m sorry.” and extends his hand to his now former partner. Judge looks down at JMC’s hand, and the WPW Title on the floor, then looks back up at JMC’s apologetic face. Judge smirks and grasps the hand of JMC and pulls him in for a hug.

Max: It’s the end of the dynasty of Judge and James and yet they still look like a better team than ever.

Daniel: Good night everyone!

(Added credits, and made the images show up. You always seem to forget, )

That said.. a solid show. Murph-RK could maybe have been a little longer, and it's good to see Corral get some well-deserved credit for his RP... well, spewage, of late.

And of course.. oh. Tag team titles. It's a relief, really. If only from the stance of Green not having any real chance if the only guy on TNT couldn't take something out. Well done to Promy and Judge.. Feels like we've had this battle so many times, it's [i]really nice to have the face team finally come out on top, less so even than the fact that it's me, which is really, really nice (Like I say, the thought of RPing against Royalty is kinda daunting at the moment with the way they're RPing, and this minor slip up-that-might-not-really-be-a-slipup is hopefully going to make other people get a little backbone when it comes to fighting 'em.)

Decent TNT! I think that having the fakeout start to the first match, then the promo mid-second was a bit overboard, but.. shit happens. Needed to be done, at that. We'll just have to see how it all plays out, I guess! Also appreciate that RK-Murph went ahead.. Murph for Resistance? Who knows.

Congradulations Troy and Nicolls, keep those belts real warm because I'll be back for them one day! You've earned the victory, and from a story standpoint that finish opens up about 1,000 new doors as we begin the unofficial road to Redemption. I'll become a three time tag champ before it's all said and done, mark my words!

But for now...

Wow this was one of those shows that makes you go back and forth because a lot did happen. I do apologize that the RK-Murph match was a tad short but I was really focused on my tag team championship match with David and The Royalty. I think I did it justice though, first match in about two months that I wrote.

Its good to hold a championship, now we are marked me. I need to get back tot he drawing board and get things rolling on my roleplays.

Also congrats to The Royalty, you two really gave us a run for our money the four times total we all faced each other. Its four right three tag and one single? Maybe it was three, nonetheless you brought the best out of us two! I want to say thanks to my tag team partner, we definitely worked our kinks out over the past few months and became a good team.. Definitely one to be reckoned with!

OK, this week the legendaryreview will be talking about the segments and ignoring the wrestling as a sorta one man protest about the lack of a legendaryken match in tonight's show. (Kidding! I appreciated the week off!)

Hey, Dream's back! Nic wrote that didn't he? A very good impersonation, if not. Great way to kick off the show.

2/JMC - another segment with an authentic voice, methinks. Nice to hear some Shakespeare too, authentic or otherwise. Enjoy your time in the footlights/greasepaint and inadvisable codpiece, JMC. It's not gonna last too long!

Andrew Xavier - Yeah, no-one's convinced. Expect a masked man called 'Mr X' in a month or so. Good little speech though.

Jamie Parker - The Prisoner is a great opening. The song stole it from the TV show, of course, and it has one of the best credit sequences ever. There's a cut-up song from the eighties which uses far more of the voiceover over a great thumping tune. Thanks for bringing this to us Jamie.

Gunnar Brian/Judge - strange bedfellows indeed!

D&D - I'me still waiting for the Dungeons and Dragons promo/segment that I know these guys have got in them. Now that they're champs, I'll expect a doozy.

Normal service next week, probably.
