K, I have been a bit iffy about it lately, and hav ejust realised, I don't really give a crap about wrestling anymore.... I could miss a raw or SD and not give a crap, hell I could miss a PPV and not care.... My interest in wrestling is gone...

I guess I won't be making wrestling graphics, posting in the wrestling anymore. I may do one or two wrestling things like Comps, but I really don't give a crap anymore...

Just letting you guys know, I won't really be doing much to do with wreslting anymore... That means I can't do the reporting job for the main site etc. But I will still stay affiliated with the site so it's ok there :)

Anyone else starting to not give a crap about wrestling anymore?

BTW: I'll stay here for the Chatter Box, GFX and the bitches :p and the same for IOW and WI.

Wilse, this is a wrestling forum, and your saying your only staying here for the off-topic stuff? Maybe you should take a break and come back, hoping your interest is renewed. No offense or anything, I mean you are a valuable member to this site, but when you don't talk about wrestling on a wrestling forum, then something is badly wrong.Hell, if I wasn't interested in forums, there are hundreds of other forums I could go to. *shrugs*

I stopped watching a long time ago.

I tried WM 20 and a few RAWs and SDs after that, but I no longer have the love or interest. It's gone for me.

But I still come to a wrestling forum. There's still plenty to do.

I'm sorry to hear that Wilse, I don't watch it very often anymore, but i'll come on here and read about it and maintian an intrest. I don't have time for it anymore. Glad you'll be hanging around anyway.

Actually, last week was the first I can remember ever missing an episode of Smackdown...and it didn't really bother me.But i'm still very interested in RAW, and you would be a fool to miss Bad Blood.

I feel the same way, i have not watched Smackdown since the draft, i missed a few Raws here and there and it has not bothered me that i missed them. I keep up to date with spoilers, news, backstage news and all that. But if i miss a show it doesn't bother me, before when i missed the show i would get the repeats, now i just don't. I miss it, i miss it is my stance now, before it was i missed it, dammit. I just lost a bit of fire for wrestling.

Yep, I'm the same, wrestling is getting really boring. It won't be long before I lace up my boots, and put on my speedo trunks for the last time.

lol there's nothing wrong with not liking wrestling and still being here.

I watched almost every single minute of RAW this past Monday and that's the first time I've watched that long of a show in 2-3 months. Usually I watch 30 minutes of it and get sick of it.

man, in nearly a year, I've only watched about 20-30 of the shows including a couple PPVs. But yet I've stayed around on IOW and WP. There's plenty to talk about even if you don't watch it.

What i also think, i think i might be growing out of it. I mean some people say to me aren't you a bit old for wrestling now? And i just say back i watch it for the entertainment. It usually gets me stick from my friends, some people make fun, but i don't listen. But the worst insult that they throw at me is, you like watching sweaty half naked men jumping around the ring. I just don't like wrestling much now, and i think i am a bit too old for it IMO. But i will keep up to date, and may watch a few shows, but not as much as i did in the past.

I felt this way through all of 2003 but since Wrestlemania I've got my interest back because Benoit is champ.

Well, age has nothing to do with wrestling. Hell, my great grandma watched it with me when I was a kid. She loved it. I'm 31 and I still love watching it. To me, it is just enjoyable to watch.

As for you losing your interest Wilse, well I think that happens to just about anybody. From 1997-1998, I rarely watched wrestling. Since SummerSlam of 1998, I have watched it on a sort of regular basis. So, take a break from it and try to watch it again sometime down the road. Your interest may be back, or it may not.

I watched WM20, never really watched it since.
Sure, I flick on Raw every now and then but thats it.
BUT!
I will still watch the Diva DVDs!

That's part of the reason why IOW is near death, because all the regulars aren't even Wrestling fans anymore.I watch WWE shows whether they are bad or good, I still enjoy even the shoddy ones, I like Wrestling too much just to stop wathcing it because I can't be bothered or lose interest, that's a lame excuse.I've watched Wrestling for the majority of my life, except for a 2 year hiatus because I lost SKY.I missed watching the wrestling almost every day.Yeah sure, I read the results and kept up with the news, but I didn't feel like a Wrestling fan, then I got SKY back the Raw after Backlash.I didn't care for the quality, I just felt happy that I was watching wrestling.Something like that needs to happen to some of you guys. Then you'll appreciate what your watching.
There's plenty to talk about even if you don't watch it.
If you don't watch Wrestling, then that scratches out Wrestling as a topic. That leaves off-topic stuff, which can be discussed on other non-wrestling related forums.

First of all, there is no age limit to watching it. Most people who say that are just the type of people who worry so damn much of what others think about them.

As for the sweaty half naked men part...I love when people say that about it because I usually either respond with "No, they're not sweaty and half naked, you must have switched it to the gay porn channel or something" and then if they try to say that they weren't watching that and it's actually what was on wrestling, then I say "Oh well if you know that then obviously you like watching half naked sweaty men". They usually can't respond by then because they're pissed and others are laughing at them.

Either that or you ask them why they're staring at the men's bodies and not the wrestling moves they do and the action.

The thing that makes me laugh when wrestling fans say "I feel to old for it," is that most of the people that wrestle are in their late 20's, 30's, or early 40's.

Good point, i usually just ignore them or try and change the subject. But i just haven't been bothered with wrestling lately. Don't know why.

It could be just a phase, and I'm in it as well  . It wouldn't too bad if it was like it used to be, but the interest levels in general have gone down, even for RAW.

Maybe it's the fact that we have friends here that we like discussing with, we like being part of the COMMUNITY. You're basically telling us to leave, and if people did that then IOW oculda died a lot earlier. Just let us post where we wanna post, We've got friends here and some of us mod or admin spots. Just cause you want one of our spots....and you can't deny it after chucking a hissy fit over the mod decisions in the first place...

Lol Trev, I am still interested in wrestling as I always have been. People say stuff about me watching it, but I just brush my shoulders off and keep going. I still find it entertaining, although it has gone down the toilet here lately. I will probably watch it until the day I die. I love wrestling, I don't know what I would do if their was no such thing. I can see why you are burnt out Wilse, I mean you have a life and everything. Just take some time off for a while and come back to it and see if you like it. I am glad you are still staying on the forums though.

Oh man, I love it when someone bashes wrestling. Even when they just make some side comment, I push at them until they actually come right out and say why they hate wrestling or what they think about people who watch it and I bust them right then and there on what they said. I love it when people bash things I like because of stupid reasons, mainly due to ignorance like the age issue and it being "homosexual".

I probably run my mouth too much but I never back down. Maybe I'll learn one day when someone punches me in the mouth. lol, until then, they won't shut me up.

Then again I usually combine that with something funny to end up not really pissing the person off who is arguing with me. People laugh at the person but the person doesn't get all pissed at me.

And what happened after that "hissy fit"? I never spoke of it again. Why? Because I no longer care.

And I wasn't telling anyone to leave.I know your a valuable member of this community, and i'd rather you stick around, I was just puzzled as to why you were, so stop making this so damn personal.

I've wanted to stop watching for a while but, honestly, I had nothing better to do with my time. I now just watch it for a laugh.

Qwaar.....the reason he's "making this so damn personal" is because he is the one that started this thread when he said he was done with wrestling. Jesus man, settle down!

Personally, wrestling is never the same when i cant come on here and discuss it with you guys. At the moment i get on for a few hours a week, but i mainly check my forums when i'm here as i dont want to slack off in that department. I cant wait until my full return in approx 10 days.
