First things first...
Writing is subjective. We all write our hearts out every week for each other. Some guys love your style, some hate it, but even though you'll never please everyone, there is no denying knowing when you are good and deserve more than the hand your dealt.
This year in WPW I've made some good decisions, a few iffy ones, and instead of being the big bad wolf I was in year 1 I've let there be more freedom. I believe it's important, but there comes a time when I, being the only person who can, needs to put my foot down and say when something didn't happen the way it should, and here we are.
Let me start by saying Karver is a great RPer who has improved in the short time he's been here. Karver has earned his spot in the ToC finals, and it's good to see a familiar face up at the top.
...But someone is missing...
Prometheus asked me not to do this, and is the most humble person I know. He wanted to ride things out, play it cool, and I almost let him, but then I thought about what happened and I decided I'd be damned if WPW went back on everything it stood for just because it was "Too late" and because of the fear of ruffling feathers. It's never too late, no feathers need be ruffled since I'm not mad at anyone, but I do need to correct a very very important mistake. Mistakes are human, everyone makes them, but it's time for me to be man enough to clean it up. Even if Promy would never push for something like this being as selfless as he is, he's done more than enoughdoe WPW to warrent getting what he's rightfully earned.
Effective as of this moment James Moriarty Cassius has been added to the finals match in the ToC. The match will be a triple threat with the winner taking on Scorch in the final round. Yes, I know I'm shooting myself in the foot in doing this, but I created WPW not so I could one day be champion, but because I wanted to create a fed based solely on RPs and compitition. Karver is good, but all of us can tell in the last thread JMC earned a victory, and he didn't recieve one. Karver may pull out a win again this week in spite of it, JMC may rise up now and win the tournament, but I'll be damned if I ever won a championship that I did not earn, and I wouldn't have earned anything if I didn't go through the man who earned the shot to get it. This will make my vBookie plummet for sure, but it's about doing what's right, not what's easy. If I lose a championship shot, a writer, and credibility over this I don't care. This is my fed, and I make the final call.
So at the tournament of champions we will see The Judge vs. Michael Karver vs. JMC. Winner takes on Scorch for all the marbles.
