Last night in Oberhausen, Eddie Guerrero apparently snapped when the fans derisively chanted at him from the start of his match against Bradshaw. He was obviously not over with them, and this led to him turning himself heel in the bout. He grabbed the mic and cut a promo saying “Germany sucks” and flipped the bird at the crowd. From the reports that I received from the show and backstage, he did so not in a “heel” manner but rather in an “it really got to him and ticked him off” sort of way. He was said to be noticeably irate by the reaction he got when he came backstage and I heard that management was very angry by the actions he took out in the ring, especially considering he is the brand’s champion. Many people in the company feel that with the banged-up state of his body and the recent bout of shock he had after his PPV match with JBL, Eddie is really dragging right now and is very tired as he pushes himself to go on because he is carrying the title. Some are wondering if the rigors of being the champion are wearing him down and seeing him snap in the ring yesterday came at a really bad time and ended the tour on a sour note for WWE. From what I heard, the talk was that he would be fined for his actions.

Well it look's too me like the Presure of being Champion is really starting to get to Guerrero. I'd say it's mainly down to the fact of the whole Judgement Day Inncident. Personally, i think Eddie SHOULDN'T be wrestling. But i supose Smackdown is in dire need of there "Draw" though.
Then again though, for a guy that has been in the industry for 15 years, he should know better.
Thoughts?

I would have him lose the title and take some needed time off, this would allow him to get back to his normal self. And when he returns he can win the title back. But the problem is who could the title go to?

That MAJOR Box office draw, that is known as JBL :chuckles: Nah it would probably make sense if they put the belt on The Undertaker. IMO He's over enough to front the company, but the whole "Special Attraction" clause he is using, wouldnt be right for the company. Other than that, i cant really comment on who could take the belt.
Taker would be the obvious choice but there ouwld have to be a transition. He can't take it straight form Eddie unless Eddie turns. It would probably have to go to JBL for a month then to Taker. I wonder how many fans can SD lose in a month...

JBL doesn't deserve the title after his antics in Germany (hailing Hitler).

JBL deserves jack ****, he has done nothing for the company in his years there. I see no reason as to why he has this push anyway, and when he used the nazi signs to the fans in germany, that makes WWE look bad. If they even gave JBL the title for a month, do you all know how much that would hurt WWE. Knowing WWE though, they probably will give him the title. Undertaker should be the one to have the title, but like you all said, with his special attraction clause, that wouldn't work. If Taker was champion he would have to appear on Smackdown week in and week out.

Eddie's actions shouldn't be a surprise. His family is known as a bunch of hotheads. Besides, he's had to go through a lot more brutal matches and things like that than most champions.
JBL will win their match. JBL = HHH in my eyes. When either one are on the screen, I turn the channel.

I wanted Eddie to still be the camp cause they don't have anyone that's any good right now to become champ.I don't think JBL should become champ cause what he did but the WWE will probably give him the title.

Cena needs to turn heel again and then challenge for Eddie's title.

I didn't say he deserved it, I totally agree that he is wrong in his actions in Germany, I just thought I would be the logical move instead of giving it staright to taker

I agree with Supa. Cena is in a desperate need to turn heel, he was so much better.

That i do agree with. Cena has become stale as face, he would do a whole lot better as heel and would be a benefit in the main event as heel. He could be a great challenger to Eddie, and the feud would be very good.
JBL only got the push due to the time that he has been in the WWE. I feel his time is over now, he has paid his dues and had his final push in the WWE, i think it is time to move on because once you lost your shot at GAB your going to be back as a jobber, or no more than a midcarder.

I will always mark for Cena, face or heel. I just feel that Cena was incredible on the mic as a heel. He got great crowd heat.

one thing i agree with is for cena to go heel, but IMO i dont think he shood win the title. go for the title, sure, but WIN the title, dont think so. i just dont think that he shood get a push atm. i dont think him and eddie wood put on the best of shows. i mean u have this veteran who has been in the business for like over 10 years on RAW as th champ and then basically a newbie who has been in the business for 2 uears as the champ on SD. it does not work. if u think about it eddie and benoit match but benoit and JBL or benoit and cena dont. i say turn cena heel and maybe next years RR him and orton r facing it off as the last 2 and then they feud with them in WM against each other in reverse ways. orton FACE, cena HEEL.
as for eddie and his outburst ... i c no real problem with it. he is simply stressed and needs a break. where as they r leaving UT with mid-carders like booker. UT is arguably the best wrestler 2day and he cood smash ppl like booker any day, i mean come on. the report says "the crowd chant when the match begins" but it is not being specific and not telling us whether they were even chanting against or for eddie. i do not know the whole story, so i cant exactly judge but i c no reason for eddie to face huge consequences for his actions. it was stupid but not as bad as what JBL did to the crowd.
these r just my opinions.

i dont think you could give the title to taker if his only going to wrestle part time, but i like the idea of cena turning heel and challenging for the title.
I could immagine Cena with the title. He would definatly be over as either a face or a heel. If Eddie had to drop it to someone then I woudl definatly want it to be Cena.
I think it would be great for Cena to go abck to being a heel. His promos were sharper and his ring work wasn't so limited ( you know when you become a face you loose half of your moveset and only do the moves the crowd marks for)

look at the choices...
JBL
Booker
Cena
RVD
Taker
i say let Cena lose the US title to Dupree
and Eddie lose the title to Booker

RVD and Booker T. JBL doesn't deserve it, Taker would have to show up too much, Cena's U.S Champ and possibly not ready for the push, Big Show's gone, and Kurt's "injured". It would seem only Van Dam and Booker are left. If Eddie can last till GAB, then he can lose the title to Booker at Summerslam. We then can have a Booker and RVD feud for the title. Thoughts?

I don't agree about RVD. IMO he's become more stale than Cena.

If the WWE were smart, they would have left Cena as the tweener type character he was around Survivor Series. You wouldn't know if he was face or heel. Then around now, when his character would have been fresh and very over, he would have became a heel character to help out SD's lack of top heels. If he does turn heel though, I wouldn't have him feud with Eddie. I would have him feud with one more midcard level face then move into a semi-main event angle with a guy like RVD which would solidify main event spots for both men. I agree with Supes on RVD. Right now the only thing that would save him is what is making the Dudley's become fresh once again would be an alliance with Heyman. RVD could play his arrogant character as a heel maybe as good as he did in ECW as it is hard for an arrogant character to get over as a face. Other than that, RVD would have to become more of a vicious face with a mean streak like Edge. It would be damn near impossible to turn him heel as the fans wouldn't have it so this would probably be the best solution for him. Big Show will be back in a month so he'll be able to help SD out in a big way. Love him or hate him, the man can play heel just as good as anyone and is over enough to be in the main event. As for Kurt Angle, he should just get the fusion surgery and stay out for a year. It worked for many others and it could help him. The WWE has many options but refuses to exercise them. They'd rather push JBL and therefore push SD into the ground. If he wins the title I don't know if my love for wrestling could keep me watching SD. That would be a total slap in the face to guys like Booker who is actually over enough to hold the title.
