I am going to try out writing a column. This will be my first time so there may be mistakes and what not but since it is my first i think you should let me of lightly ;) I will take critism and will use it to try and improve on them. Hell i might even replace Trevor Lane one day :D Only joking bro! Right now i have no name so i will be thinking off a name over the due period hopefully i will get one fixed. But anyway enough with this lets get on with my first column.

WWE at the current moment.
Well several things have been good for business and some bad. Right now it is doing well. WWE just hosted another Trade where Bishoff would pick superstars and Heyman would pick his side, well there was some implications in the trade which saw some top stars move from the resident show. Notable one being Triple H move to Smackdown leaving Evolution without a leader. But that move short lasted and we soon saw HHH back on Raw again and what did he do the first night back? He put his nose right back into the title business with Benoit and HBK, turning what could of been a good one on one encounter into a triple threat match which is going ot be the final encounter, in Bishoffs words. But will this be the final encounter, we have heard this several times with HHH and HBK but that fued as never ended so really we will have to wait and see what this holds for both superstars.

So HHH moving to Smackdown and back again, Bishoff traded 3 good stars to get the prize asset back. The Dudleys, both D-Von and Buh Buh Ray Dudley and Booker T heading to Smackdown. Which turned out to be a good move since both of the Dudleys and Booker T didn't have much going on Raw and that Smackdown might be a good move for them, also maybes refreshing there characters as it seemed the Dudleys were going stale on Raw and were quickly disappearing on Raw. So this move could really help, a heel turn would also help there characters as they seem to be lacking the edge when they were faces, didn't seem right in a way as they were best suited Heels. Right now Booker T has been turned heel as he trashed talked the champ, Eddie Guerro which promptly turned him into the bad guy. He also trashed the Smackdown show by saying it is not as good as Raw show. The heel turn is what Booker T really needed because when he was face he was going stale and he needed to dump this spinaroonie. They also need to drop the 5 time WCW champ, it is a good record but the WCW days are more than over and we are in WWE so they need to give him a new gimmick which could help his campaign to win the title.

The trade also had a top star that was on his way to win the title but a broken neck stopped him from taking the gold, Edge. He made his return on the trade night by walking out and spearing the GM of Raw, Bishoff. Bishoff was angry at all of this and he ordered Edge's first match back at Backlash against the seven foot monster Kane. It seems that Edge is set to win this bout which is going to start his push. When the match is over, they have planned for quite a while he is going to be starting a program with the game Triple H. We don't know whether Edge is going to be fueding with HHH for the title or not as it is down to whether HHH wins the title in the Wrestlemania rematch. They have set plans to have Edge take the title sometime in November which is a long time away but come to think of it, this is time to build him back to top where he was before he got a broken neck.

Smackdown has had a change of Gm due to Paul Heyman being traded to Raw which prompted him to resign which left the Gm spot open. Heyman is due to start another brand that will see the return of ECW but it will be toned down as Vince does not want half of his roster taking bumps and getting injuries in the process so don't expect to see everything that was once in ECW but i am highly anticpating reading the results as it seems to be not showing in the UK which is a major shame. But anyway, this will really help some stars get back onto the TV and wrestling again who are not getting used. Enough with the ECW talk. With Heyman gone this left the main seat left unattended over on Smackdown which was soon filled by none other than the American Hero, Kurt Angle which first act was to trade HHH back over to Raw and getting Booker T and The Dudleys in return.

So what show as got the best out of trade? Smackdown was lacking top stars before the trade so did this do any good for them. Well the top stars they got was Booker T, RVD, i think that was about it. So that has improved the main event status a bit but not by much so once again Raw get the better side out of the trade as they got several top stars from Smackdown. Edge and HHH, both of them would of been a good stars over on Smackdown but once again, seems HHH has got his backstage power to get him back onto Raw as Raw being shown live and Smackdown being taped which HHH would not want to be on i would think.

Right for this weeks Raw.
It was a fairly good show, nothing bad about it really but we did see a big upset that could really set this young superstar into a big push as a singles competitor. Shelton Benjamin who was split up because of the trade. He faced HHH in a singles match, we expected Triple H to come out with the win but somehow Benjamin pulled of what could of been the biggest upset of this year. So i am expecting some sort of push for him revolving around him being the Game.
We saw Kane get beat of Tajiri, who was forced into this match by the lies of the Coach. Coachman got the missed in his face but he told the boss that he was disrespecting you and that Bishoff forced him to fight Kane in a no dq match which Tajiri won. Right now i cannot take anything seriously from Kane as they have been stuck on what to do with him and that he is seriously going down the pan since the defeat at the hands of the Undertaker. Right now i am thinking that they should of sent him to Smackdown in the trade to continue a fued with the Undertaker as it is the only thing that could keep his character going.

So overall show was pretty good and nothing bad that could of come from it.

Smackdown thoughts
I didn't pay attention to Smackdown spoilers but i have to say it has gone 2 weeks and we have not seen the Deadman once on TV, what is up? I mean they hype the return only to have him turn up twice in a space of a week and then he is gone from Tv. He did show up on Smackdown which according to the spoilers which isn't going to be shown so that leaves it 2 weeks with out the Deadman. Bradshaw has turned heel and has got a new character and is set for a title shot which is good for him since he has been stuck on the Tag Team scene as 1 half of the APA now with Farooq out of the WWE, Bradshaw dropped the APA gimmick and got himself a new one which is recieving him a push to the main event and a fued with Eddie.

I want to get onto the topic of Kane. Ever since he got unmasked, he got pushed as the undestructable monster but only to be stopped by his brother the Undertaker. They made him look weak in the match as really it was a squash match, Kane did get a few blows but Undertaker always was in control. If i was the writers, i would of made Kane lose but looking tough in the process. Cast your minds back to the first encounter that they had. Kane lost the match but he looked unstoppable in the process as it took 3 tombstones to keep Kane down. I would of had the same again this year as it would of made Kane look unstoppable even though Kane lost the match but it didn't happen and i am not a writer so there is nothing i can do. I would send Kane to Smackdown which would help Smackdown in a big way and can continue the fued with Undertaker.

Well that is it from me for this week. All critism welcomed. Feel free to either reply in this thread or PM me and i will respond.

A few misspellings, but other than that great job!
The first Smackdown with the new additions wasn't the greatest, but I found this past weeks amusing. Eddie Guerrero taking Bradshaw's hat and having the crowd filling it with anything they had was funny. Speaking Bradshaw, after Smackdown ended the fans there got to see him get a Piledriver for running his mouth from the Undertaker! So Taker was there, but watching on TV we got no such luck; use the Undertaker as a foe for Bradshaw and not putting him in the title picture. I think the WWE needs to leave that spot for Booker T or an up and coming Charlie Haas, who seems to be having a good beginning of a feud with Rob Van Dam.
Both shows have been doing well, there hasn't been too many surprises, with the exception of Shelton Benjamin going over Triple H! How often do you see going over and Triple H after it in the same sentence? Not often :)
The Edge/Kane match will not help Kane in anyway. The WWE have been pushing Kane as an indestructable monster and Edge is going to run right over him?
Jericho comparing Trish to Babe was funny. Now, here's what I find funny, Trish said that Jericho wasn't there for her when Christian beat her up, but where was Christian when she was verbally abused by Jericho? Hiding in the back, and his pity act, acting like he was sorry, was funny. I thought she was crying because of Christian's shirt, not what Jericho said to her! ;)
Who got the most of the lottery? It's hard to tell right now, because we're only 2 weeks into it. Both shows have shown that they are using the traded talents well, now if only the WWE hadn't let Sean O'Haire go!

Thanks for the feedback, i am thinking about dumping the Raw and Smackdown thoughts and do it every few weeks so that it doesn't get boring easily. Thanks for the feedback :)

Hey Road Warrior, this was a great column for it being your first one! It was nice and long, you developed your arguments well, and stuck well to them. I can't wait for week 2.

Great Read :)

Hell i might even replace Trevor Lane one day :D Only joking bro!

Yeah, not likely:) JK

Nice column RW! I enjoyed it. As Rachel said, it's still a little early to tell who got the better of the draft lottery.

I am getting the urge to write again, so once the main site is up I just may need to reclaim my crown, since it hasn't been happening at IOW. :)
