Although the majority of people have praised John Cena's efforts since his arrival in WWE, it seems that individuals backstage in WWE are changing their opinion of the US Champion. The consensus is that Cena's wrestling skills are not improving and he is not working hard enough to rectify his weaknesses. There is also the feeling that Cena has become arrogant in the sense that he feels he is so over with fans that he just needs to continue with what he is doing to be successful.

This indeed is very true. His wrestling has been a tad off lately. And IMO hes never been really good at it either. I just kinda liked him because of the mic skills. Hes nothing close to a Kurt Angle. He should be working on his wrestling skills instead of just wearing hometown jerseys and spitting rhymes. Your comments?

Well how the **** is he supposed to improve when he wrestles people like Danny Basham and Sakoda? What's point in improving when you're wrestling jobbers every week? His fued with Dupree was golden, probably one of his best since coming into the WWE. I'll admit his character is getting stale, but so are Eddie and Booker T.

His style shouldn't be too much better. People's movesets get a whole lot smaller when they become stars. Incredible wrestlers very rarely get pushed because most of the casual fans prefer wrestlers who have limited movesets but do them alot. Jeff Hardy is a good example of this. He was mosterously over but he had absolutely terrible matches because of how predictable he was.

I agree it is who they have Cena wrestle against cause he can't improve if all he faces most of the time are jobbers and I think maybe they should turn him heel cause I thought he was better when he was a heel.

firstly i think it is obvious to every1 that cena is not a KURT ANGLE. john cena has never been my FAVOURITE wrestler. i thought he was much better as a heel, and supes as much as i agree with u that the feud with dupree was gr8, but his feud with UT i think was better. there were way 2 many re-matches with dupree, it got boring. now cena hasnt got the best skills in WWE but they r by far not the worst. i admit sumtimes it gets 2 me wen he sucks up 2 the crowd that much 2 wear their jerseys and stuff. i mean SCSA got heaps of fans and he didnt do next 2 any sucking up. hell he got over so much as a HEEL. but thats beside the point. i think cena shoodnt have such a big ego (if the evidence is TRUE) and i think he shood improve his skills. but wrestlers these days shood be training like 4 days a week anyway. lastly ... i have seen a pic of cena b4 he entered the WWE and boy was he built, he has dropped down wen he joined WWE but he is still built, just not as much. being a little smaller shood help with his training.

these r just my opinions.

Oh yes, John Cena has fallen off. Whether its his ring-skills or mic skills, the Master of Thuganomics has fallen off.

Even if he were "carried" in these matches, his match-ups with Undertaker, Angle, and Big Show were great and entertaining (his match w/Angle was Wrestlemania quality). He may have been carried, but I watched those matches and Cena deserves some credit for their quality.

But the Sakoda/Danny Basham factor is convincing. While Cena has fallen off, he should be in the ring with Eddie, Booker, JBL and other big names on Smackdown, because he himself is one of the most over guys on the show.

Cena has fallen off, but its nothing that he can't improve in upcoming weeks or so.

I think it is SOOOO lame when WWE starts talking about egos. Brock Lesnar and John Cena are the most recent examples.

WTF do they expect??? They bring these guys in and within a year or less in Brock's case, they have pushed these guys to the stars and made them mega superstars.

You got people like HHH, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, etc. who took a few years in the major leagues to get big. John and Brock did it in a year. It's the WWE's fault for making these guys have big egos.

If I was in their position, I'd have a big ego too. I'm sitting here as a wrestler who's only been in the company for 8 months and I'm world champion. I look around and see guys who have been with the company for anywhere from 5-15 years and still haven't made it. Who am I going to think is the bigger asset? Who am I going to think is the better talent? Of course the person I'm thinking of is me.

Big egos from these guys who haven't been in the big leagues for all that long, is completely the fault of WWE. But of course they NEVER EVER take the blame for anything themselves.

I agree with that. Basically you got to get some critism throughout your career. And you got to use it to improve, but Cena isn't doing that. If he deflates his ego and imrpove his skills then he might not get critized for his work, but rather get applauded.

Yeah I have to agree Gravedigger I think you got it spot on. It really is WWE's fault for pushing them so hard so fast and making wrestlers get Ego's. Anywho Cena should probably try and do some more training so he can improve his skills as I agree he isnt really getting any better
