What do you think about the upcoming feud between Judas Mesias, the son of Father James Mitchell, and Abyss? I think this is going to pretty good. I've been waiting to see if this guy would come to TNA. I figured it was him that Mitchell was talking about from the beginning. So what do you think do you think its a good move for TNA since they are going to two hours? I mean thats one reason they are expanding this storyline I think. So yeah.. Comments on this guy and everything..

Wow this is a coincidence. I was just thinking about this guy after I just got done watching TNA. Deep down I want TNA to do well so they can provide somewhat decent competition or an alternative to WWE but at times it seems they shoot themselves in the foot. Honestly, I don't know anything about this wrestlers background, but with the current gimmick I am not really impressed. For his debut he comes through the ring by using a trap door. Wow, never saw that before. Spits out blood - uh yeah, ok. My main problem is I am not sure this guy fits the role he is in. He might have an insane monster gimick but as size goes I am not sure he is the right guy, considering his opponent is Abyss. He can't be more than 240 or 250. Hell, Sting was basically dominating him in the street fight and got him the scorpion deathlock. This is beginning to seem like the familiar case of a possible good wrestler in the wrong gimmick.

As far as going 2 hours I will have to wait until next week to see how they do.

guy was in WSX, had a fued with Vampiro.

Its good they got him a voice cause his mic work....no scratch that, the guy is just a horrible talker. he has a strong accent so you can hardly make out what he does manage to say.
I think WSX actually had a better look for him, they had him half burnt. so he was supposed to just be an angry force. much better then a monster.
sure, burned up and angry is kinda monsterish, but its nothing like what they could be trying to run now.

Really I will wait till this all pans out to say what I think about how they are booking him. i think he has the potential, but as we have seen its not the person its teh company that needs to learn to use that potential.

I could've swore I read on Wrestlezone.com that he is pretty ill and that this was his last show.. I'll have to look for that again

I thought so...
Originally posted at Wrestlezone: After receiving a huge push at the iMPACT! tapings two weeks ago, Judas Mesias is out of action after taking a bad fall off a ladder at the Verano de Escandalo show in Mexico two Sundays ago. After climbing to the top of the ladder, he couldn't seem to get good footing on it as he was wobbling around quite a bit, and then he just suddenly jumped from it. He missed landing on his opponent that was lying on a placed table outside the ring, and crashed to the floor. He was knocked out from the fall. In addition to that, he is also suffering from sciatica, which is unrelated to the fall. He was forced to take time off, which really messed up TNA's plans since they taped two two-hour shows this week.

Honestly? I think there's no way that Ricky Banderas should've been introduced in this sorta style. I don't see what the big hype about him is.. he's just a big guy from Mexico with a good build. I've not been overly impressed by his work.. that said, his matches with Abyss will be great (because everyone's matches with Abyss are great, what with him being possibly the best big man today.. hell, I'd love to see an Abyss-Taker feud in theory.) He (Mesias/Banderas) has the build to look like he's chunky enough to take out Abyss though, so long as they don't actively bring attention to his weight.

My biggest fear is that the trap door thing will come out to bite them in the ass, just like Warrior's trap door thing put some poor worker in a wheelchair (he bumped on it wrong.. can't remember who, though.) Yeah, the matches will be good, no, I'm not sure the feud itself will be.

Haha the idiot got himself injured lol, well I do think he's hot and he does kind of remind me of Vampiro but I gusse we will just have to wait and see how he does in TNA in the near future.

why does it seem like abyss/mesias is just almost a literal rehash of taker v kane

To be honset I like monster vs monster matches like Kane vs Undertaker and so on, I think this could also turn into a good fude and I think it's going to be fun to see what happens with these two but I think your right on the fact that they are copying Kane and Undertaker fude.

why does it seem like abyss/mesias is just almost a literal rehash of taker v kaneFunny I was gonna say something along the lines of that. Just by Mesias's appearace he looks like a watered down Undertaker. Funny because early on Abyss was referred to as TNA's cheaper version of Kane.
