At the Munich leg of the Passport to Pain tour, John Bradshaw Layfield did a Nazi salute twice in the ring to get heat. A fan got thrown out of the arena for attempting to attack Bradshaw since the salute is strictly prohibited in Germany - even foreigners can be prosecuted for such an offense. What the hell??!? If he wants to be hell, thats fine, but using the Nazi salute?! Considering what they were responsible for, I think that was a bad move on Bradshaw's part.

I know, and he's Jewish himself. That was very disrespectful and discusting. How did he do something like that in Germany. What is he going to do next, wear the white triangular hat of the klu klux klan to the ring in America? The WWE makes me sick.

Well it just goes to show his character is so lame that he'll do absolutely anything to get heat.

That is completely wrong and disrespectful. I mean I know the guy wants to get heel heat, but he doesn't have to make the Nazi salute to get it. He could of got on the mic and said a few things about the people to get heat. Bradshaw makes me sick. I can't stand the guy.

ok firstly, i had no idea in hell that bradshaw was jewish. with a name like layfield it sounds like a christian anglo-saxon name. anyway thats not the point ... as for the nazi salute, he is a ****head for doing that. he had no rite for it. he had disrespected all of the germans. not every single german was a nazi, but he probably knows that. just coz the WWE SUPPOSEDLY told him 2 do it, is the worst thing ever. i cant believe that he is going that low to get heat. if he IS jewish then how much disrespect has he shown to all of his family as well as germany. germany has admited and confessed to their wrong-doings and there was no need to bring the topic bak up! i am not 1 to take immediate actions towards JBL as i dont no the full story but if its true then JBL is a huge ****head.
these r just my opinions.

well when you think about it, what he did has worked. his gonna get huge heat from this and im sure this will be just the start of it. wouldnt be suprised if he even used the salute again in the future. but if its true that its been banned in germany then i think he did go too far though.

I heard it's a law in Germany that it is forbidden to give the Nazi salute!!
Bradshaw is only around for a reason that I can't quite figure out yet. I don't know why the WWE doesn't fire his ass, he's sloppy in the ring, he has never been in shape and IMO, he has bad mic skills!!

Here's a bit more on that story......
As reported this weekend, John Bradshaw Layfield used a bunch of Adolf Hitler Nazi mannerisms in the ring towards the crowd on Saturday in Munich, Germany. Bradshaw did this as an attempt to get over as a heel and get some extra heat for his match against Eddie Guerrero.
After speaking to several sources, the general feeling is that Bradshaw totally went over the line of decency and good taste even by today's wrestling standards. Many backstage are extremely angry for Bradshaw's actions, and many fans have even reacted to this by writing to CNBC to attempt to get Bradshaw removed from the show, and even attempting to contact the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and report Bradshaw for what he did, as any sort of tribute to Hitler and the Nazi regime is illegal in Germany.

I have to know one thing. Where did everyone hear that Bradshaw was Jewish? Because I don't think he is. This doesn't mean anything, but here in Texas he went to Abiline Christian University.
I am Atheist and I go to a Roman Catholic high School.
Don't mean crap.
Bradshaw is just desperate, drunky hit it right on the head, he needs extra heat to get over and he does an extremly racist and very dis-respectful way of getting a few boos and death threats.

Don't mean crap.Yes, but you don't believe anything and go to that school. If Bradshaw were in fact Jewish, that means he went to a school that taught against what he believes in. I'm just curious, because I don't think that Bradshaw is Jewish.

http://www.wrestlepower.net/showthread.php?t=1249 The Shua posted that in another thread. Doesn't suprise me though. They obviously don't want the bad press that would come from having him under contract. I wonder if this incident will affect his push as this isn't how a top heel should represent the company. Granted he wants to get heat but it gets to a point where you can go too far like he did. Also, 1wrestling.com reported that Bradshaw was backstage defending his actions saying that is what a heel does. Maybe if the guy was over he wouldn't be trying to do everything possible to get heat. This just goes to show that he shouldn't be in the main event at this time. It's as much the WWE's fault as it is his because they put him in a position where they knew he wouldn't get over and be considered a serious top heel which is causing him to pull out all of the stops to prove all of the critics wrong.

LMAO. Unknown, Kind of the wrong link. I agree with everyone else, and that Bradshaw just did the wrong thing, and is now paying the price for it.

Yeah, he crossed the line, but it was just a miscalculation. He's playing a part in a story, after all. One of the funniest bits in a UK sitcom ever was Basil Fawlty doing the exact same thing and, apparently, in Germany they loved it. It's all about context. If he was more 'over' there might not have been the same fuss.
