View Full Version : Torment on Jesse Long
Torment is in the ring at a house show, there is a single spotlight on Torment as he stands in the centre of the ring and delivers the initial part of his promo with his head down.
Torment:(speaking quitely,as if to himself) You ever get that feeling you want to scream, a scream so throat ripping it hurts your ears and your chest and your mouth. You do it just to get a release, a sense of relief, just something to satisfy your needs. Imagine that feeling. Then multiply it by a hundred. And what you imagine still can’t even come close to the satisfaction I felt last Wednesday, when I got the fix I so desperately craved. (Torment raises his head and stares straight into the camera lens.) But it wasn’t enough.
Torment throws his head back and lets out a scream that echoes throughout the arena.
Torment (angry, spoken quickly): You people can’t understand what it feels like to make someone feel agony, true agony. You people might think I’m sick or deranged for taking pleasure in hurting others, but you know what? (Pauses) I… don’t… care what all you stupid Americans think of me.(crowd heat, he regains composure and smiley sickly thinking of Wednesday) That’s why I didn’t attack my “friend” Jesse in front of you people, (his sneer returns) because you don’t deserve to see my power, to see my abilities, your not worthy enough.
But soon the time will come for that, when I decide.
Torment: In MI5 they train you to break a person down physically but also mentally, to get inside their head and destroy them from the inside out. I proved I’m capable of both last Wednesday, Jesse knows that I can mess with people’s minds as well as hurt them physically, you see Jesse these aren’t games I’m playing, o no, I don’t like to joke when I’m dealing with something as serious as my cravings, my needs.
Torment looks down again
Torment: You people won’t recognise Jesse Long after I’m done with him, all that’s left will be a jibering mess, broken and bruised and lost in his own thoughts. Jesse Long this is only stage one, we have got a long way to go yet. Jesse Long it’s only just begun.
And I’m not going to stop, till I’m satisfied.
The light goes out for 5 seconds, when the main lights come back up Torment is gone.

(Jeff LeMass is shown in backstage with Jeff Hardy & "The American Icon" Jesse Long)
LeMass: I'm standing by here with The Real Americanz, Jesse Long & Jeff Hardy. Now Jeff, my first question's for you. Why have you decided to come to uCw and join forces with "The American Icon" Jesse Long.
Hardy: Well Jeff, I came to uCw was simply, to make an impact. And why I chose to team up with Jesse Long is because I see alot of my characteristics in him. He's a red-blooded, hard workin', risk takin', take no b.s. AMERICAN! In fact, when I look at him, I see a 16 year old version of myself. And as I said before, we will make an IMPACT!
LeMass: I see.
Hardy: Also, as soon as Gravedigger or Charles Burton decides to start the uCw Tag Team Title Tournament, consider us the first official entrants!
LeMass: Thank you Jeff. Now Jesse, what are your comments on what Torment did to you last week on Revolution?
Jesse: Jeff, I gonna be honest with you. I'm not gonna try to sound like this big macho guy and say I wasn't effected by his actions, because I was. But not in the way that Torment was hoping. Instead of scaring me, which I'm sure he was trying to do, he has only feuled the fire.
LeMass: What do you mean?
Jesse: He is making me more driven towards my goal.
LeMass: Your goal?
Jesse: You see, Torment's goal in life is just to get a so called "fix." Well my goal has become simply, to END HIS LIFE!!!
LeMass: Harsh words. How do you plan to accomplish this?
Jesse: I'm glad you asked. And with that I will once again ask Gravedigger for a match with Torment. But this time, on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleFest! And let's make it a little more interesting, as if it wasn't already. Each of us puts up the one thing that means the most to us. If Torment wins, then I lose my career, I will retire from uCw at the ripe old age of 16, and never wrestle in a uCw ring again. But if I win, then Torment loses his identity. If I win Torment, then you lose your mask and reveal your true identity to me, the fans, and to everyone that has been searching for you all these years (your bio made it seem like someone was searching for you). So what do ya Gravedigger?! What do ya say Torment?!
LeMass: An interesting challenge made by "The American Icon." Thank you both for your time. For uCw, I'm Jeff LeMass.
Torment is in his torture chamber, the same scene is set up with his table. He has a metal suitcase and an array of torture instruments are on the table, Torment is sitting one the chair so that one ankle rests on the other knee. As the promo goes on Torment casually picks each up and cleans it with a small piece of cloth, he is cleaning blood off of them.
This place has become very homely for me, there’s been some good times had here, it’s a shame Jesse Long didn’t get to visit here for himself, would’ve been a lot of fun.
I see Jesse you’ve got yourself a little playmate, how sweet. What you don’t realise is that only makes twice as much fun for me. I’ll deal with Mr.Hardy when the time comes. As for now…we have the little matter of a match to sort out.
Torment looks directly into the camera.
It’s very bold of Jesse to just come out with it, just announce to the world that you want me in a match, maybe it’s not boldness at all maybe its sheer stupidity.
He goes back to cleaning the instruments
I think I’ll go with the second option seeing as you are a native of this joke of a country. I have met tramps with higher IQs than your president, and it wasn’t very difficult considering the state of poverty in this godforsaken country.
He puts the one he is holding down and clasps his hands.
Jesse, I accept your challenge, WrestleFest is a worthy enough show to be the debut of the future of uCw.
Seeing as you challenged me, I’ll decide what kind of match we’re going to have, which type of match I can hurt you most with, can cause you most injury and which match I can have most fun with. And I’ll let you know this Wednesday at Revolution.
He stands and walks toward the cameraman aggressively who backs off quickly. He stops at the open door; the cameraman is now in the hall.
See you soon Jesse, you have no idea how much I’m looking forward to it.
Torment slams the door on the cameraman. The number on the door is 666. Fade out.

(The Real Americanz are shown in the locker room)
Jeff: First thing Torment, you want to "deal" with me? Well I say, BRING IT!
Jesse: You think that you can get a quick fix off of Jeff Hardy? Remember Torment, I taught myself to wrestle by watching Jeff. So whatever I can do, he can do a million times better. Prepare yourself, because if and when you face Jeff Hardy, you will feel the eXtreme!
(The crowd can be heard cheering in the background)
Jesse: You think that you have more to lose than I do? You are so wrong. My uCw career means everything to me, it is my entire life. I get no greater feeling than the one I get from performing for the greatest wrestling company of all time, in front of the greatest wrestling fans of all time (crowd gives a huge pop). This is my dream. You can rob me of my possesions, of my mental faculties, but there is one thing that you can't take away from me, and that's my dream. I can't wait to find out what match you have in store for me. And whatever kind of match it is, I know that you will bring your A-game, just as I will bring mine. At WrestleFest, two men walk in, and most likely only one of us will be able to walk out. But rergardless of who wins or loses, one thing is for sure, neither of us will ever be the same.
(The camera fades into the uCw logo)
OOC: Sorry geez but I think PK wants to drop the Career vs Mask stip for the match, I was happy to go along with it but he PM'd me saying he is going to drop it. I have edited my post so it makes sense and also PK has written a segment for us for Revolution which will be up tommorrow.

I have explained my self on this issue and feel it adds nothing to the feud. The creative team would only go ahead with this if we had a set storyline already in the works for the following PPV or something. Before coming up with these stipulations I would prefer if RPers would clear these things with me.
