DarkHorizons.com, a site covering the movie industry, has reported a rumor stating that Warner Brothers is considering bringing back the Dirty Harry movie series, which starred Clint Eastwood, and they would like to bring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in to play the role. Again, they are saying it’s just a rumor at this point, but boy that would be wild if it happened.

I think the Dirty Harry franchise should be left alone, this will not be like when Samuel L. Jackson played Shaft it will suck big time instead.
Clint is the real Dirty Harry and nobody will ever be able top him or get anywhere near the success that he did with the franchise.

LMAO, you are joking, right? There is no way that The Rock can play Dirty Harry, no way. I cannot see him playing Dirty Harry, it is just too funny to believe. I agree with Lukester, leave the Dirty Harry franchise alone.

I think they should leave it alone but you know they wont cause they want to make a quick buck even if it means ruin a good movie. :(

It seems that 30 Years can change Dirty Harry. At one time he was white and then 30 years later......... he's black! Amazing.
I really cant see this helping the Dirty Harry series. I mean the first Dirty Harry is a great show and I think they would only destroy some of its legacey by making a remake staring the jabroni beating..... ahlalalala! Pie eating....... you get where this is going.
