June 3rd: ROH World Champion Samoa Joe is faced with his first international challenger. Joe will defend the World Title on June 26th in Los Angeles, CA. Shinya Makabe will be the challenger. The show will be a television taping for NJPW-USA. If Joe loses the title to Punk on 6/12, other arrangements will be made. ROH will have home releases featuring ROH World Title matches on NJPW-USA shows.

June 3rd: RF Video will be taping this weekend's huge Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup tournament. The shows will be taking place in Brandon, FL on Friday and two big cards in St. Petersburg on Saturday. Go to NWAFlorida.com for details. Some in the loaded 16 man tournament include Homicide, Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, Alex Shelley, Jimmy Jacobs and Roderick Strong. This looks like an event that any ROH fan will enjoy.

June 3rd: Wrestling historian Mark Nulty will make his ROH announcer debut on the 5/15 and 5/22 home releases. Nulty brings a wealth of technical and historical wrestling knowledge to the broadcast booth.

June 3rd: Dan Maff has not been returning the phone calls of either BJ Whitmer or Allison Danger. Maff has gone on record to say that he is giving The Prophecy one more shot and if they don't win on 6/12 in Dayton in Ultimate Endurance, the faction will die.

June 3rd: Expect the Havana Pitbulls to return in some form in July.

June 3rd: John Walters has guaranteed victory against Homicide in Dayton. Walters considers this a must win after losing on 5/22. Walters has set a personal goal that he will walk into Boston for the 8/28 show with a ROH title around his waist, or he will a strong enough contender to challenge for one that night and win it in front of his hometown crowd. We will have Homicide's response to this guarantee in a few days.

Havana Pitbulls! Yes! They're ****in sweet!

Well here are my thoughts

I’m expecting Joe to retain. He’s the man and I really can’t see him dropping the belt to Punk just yet. In fact I seem to think Homicide/Joe may happen once again. Also remember isn’t this Punk’s first title match against Joe? Meaning if he loses he’s bound to get another shot a couple of months down the road.

I sense the Prophecy are going to split. Generation Next are bound to become the Number 1 Heel stable that the promotion are going to offer us.

I’m quite interested to hear this new announcer/commentator guy, at the moment RoH commentating is something dire IMO and is one Major problem that the company has.

Nice to see the Pitbulls returning to RoH, I’ve yet to see these guys in action, but I hear good things from them.

I’m looking forward to seeing Walters/Homicide, It should prove to be entertaining and get across Homicide’s heel persona.

Good read
