*The taping opened with Jimmy Hart coming out and welcoming everyone and cutting a promo.

*Jonny Fairplay returned to NWA:TNA for the first time in several months, coming out with a bodyguard and cutting a promo.

*The actual Impact! Taping began at this point.

*The show opened with Sonny Siaki & Irish Pat Kenney & Desire defeating Johnny Swinger & Glen Gilberti & Trinity in a mixed six person tag as Kenney pinned Gilberti.

*Heavy Metal pinned NWA:TNA X-Division champion Frankie Kazarian in a non-title match.

They must be doing an awesome job at keeping the crowd hot as it's really loud to the point I can hardly hear my source over the phone.

*Sonjay Dutt & Hector Garza & The Amazing Red defeated Petey Williams & Bobby Rude & Eric Young.

*Abyss pinned Shark Boy.

*America's Most Wanted defeated Kid Kash and Dallas to win the NWA Tag Team championships.

*NWA champion Jeff Jarrett came out during a Dusty Rhodes interview. This led to Jarrett laying out Ron Killings with a guitar shot, setting up an angle for next Wednesday's PPV.

*AJ Styles won a four-way bout to win an X-Division championship match at next Wednesday's PPV, defeating Michael Shane, Elix Skipper, and Chris Sabin after pinning Shane.

*In a post taping dark match, Ron Killings won a Gauntlet bout. The Gauntlet came down to Killings and Monty Brown as the final two competitors.

Notes: As we noted earlier on the site, the promotion requested that the fans cheer the babyfaces and boo the heels, using that terminology....Mike Tenay and Don West did commentary live for the Impact! bouts but not the other matches. The Spanish announcing team was also doing commentary.

Well i think it's safe to asume that Styles is once again part of the X Division. I have no problem with that, as the Division has changed alot since Styles left it and went on to do Bigger and Better things. Hopefully the Division will change once again with AJ being involved in it.

Shame though, the company seem's to only have something like 3 heavyweights to go after the title, So i dont totally agree with putting Styles back in to X Division.

The main event look's awesome too IMO, Should be really interesting to see, Infact i think all of the match's on that show could come out looking really good.

Thoughts?

I will admit i haven't been a big TNA fan but i decided to watch Impact because it was wrestling. Boy did I love it. It was an excellent production for an indy league. Now give em another hour and a better time slot and they could do some damage.

I'm not impressed. I personally thought TNA Impact was weak, generic, and boring. I will watch next weeks edition and if i still dont like it. Well this show is done for me. LOL.

The only thing that i liked was Hector Garza and Dusty Rhodes.

I was flipping around on TV and seen it on and I watched it. I didn't even think it was on my FSN Network, but it was. TNA is filled with great action and some great stars. The X Division is unbelievable. These guys do so many amazing things! That was one of the most high impact matches I have watched. The moves these guys done were unbelievable. I agree with Supplex Machine, give them another hour and a better timeslot, and they could do some damage. I will definitely be tuning in every week.

I was out of town so I couldn't see it. But I'm definately watching it this week! Man, the X-Division is awesome! Maybe it being on regular TV might make WWE's Cruiserweight Division kick it up a notch (BAM!).
