Thanks to Adam Lebow for sending along results from the Smackdown tapings:
Dark Match
Harly Clone d. Ruffy Silverstein via Pinfall when Clone his Ruffy with a Jeff Jarrett-like "stroke".
Velocity
Mark Jindrak w/ Theodore Long d. Kidman via Pinfall when Jindrak reverses a Kidman high spot.
Rico and Charlie Hass w/ Miss Jackie d. Akio and Sakoda to retain the WWE Tag Titles via Pinfall when Hass pined Sakoda with a German Suplex with a Bridge
Spike Dudley d. Shannon Moore via Pinfall when Dudley hit the Dudley Dog.
Smackdown
Booker T said he wasn't afraid of the Undertaker. Cena came out and said Booker almost cost him his title last week and wants a match. Angle refused to let Cena have the match which eventually led to a brawl between Booker T and Cena. Cena would knock over Angle and Angle would then say he is going to the board of directors to strip Cena of the US Title.
Eddie Guerrero d. Danny Basham w/Doug Basham in a Non-Title Match via Pinfall after the Frog Splash.
Kenzo Suzki debuts next week.
Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly d. The F.B.I. via Pinfall when Gunn pinned Nunzio after Holly and Nunzio hit a Powerbomb-Running Neck Breaker Combo.
Miss Jackie d. Sable, Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson via Crowd Decision. Basically Noble was the guest host and the girls beat him down after the event.
Chavo Classic (SR) w/ Chavo Guerrero (JR) d. Funaki via Pinfall after JR knocked Funaki off the top rope and Classic got the pin. Some ladies jumped the guard rail and celebrated with Classic, however it was later revealed that Classic paid the ladies for their services. It led to JR saying he was proud of his father.
Rey Mysterio d. Rene Dupree w/ Fifi via Pinfall after Mysterio rolled through a Dupree Powerbomb Attempt.
JBL promo saying it will be a Bullrope Match at GAB.
Undertaker vs. Booker T went to a no-decision after the match was interrupted by Paul Heyman and the Dudley Boyz. Heyman told Taker he was one week to make a decision. He can either join the Dudley Boyz and Heyman in their stable and get back Paul Bareer or he will never see his urn or Paul again.
After the cameras stopped, JBL came out and cut a promo on Canada and Taker. He attacked Taker followed by Dupree, Dudley Boyz and Booker T (who was still at ringside). Cena and Guerrero made the save which led to Booker T getting Chokeslamed to end the night.
It was a so-so Smackdown.
Come on...what the heck...they say Taker will have a rare national broadcasted match but then no........BULLCRAP! Seeing him wrestle every month/other month is not gonna fit it for me.
Hey unknown, seems like your stable might be coming true? The Booker/Dudleyz/Heyman one. Thats how i think it will go down. They need to have Mark Jindrak on TV sometimes. Not for a push, but just to show what he can do, not just on Velocity.
Only thing im looking forward to...is the bikini contest! :D

It sounds like it's going to suck but at least SD might have a good stable.

Oh I hope NWA debuts soon because WWE is becoming more horrible by the day, the WWE needs more big names for SD! because the show is stale and who really gets excited to watch Rico every week? lol...

Yeah, it is stupid that they hype the Undertaker and Booker T Match and it ends in a No-Decision? JBL is making the match between him and Eddie at Great American Bash a Bull Rope Match? How dumb is that? The match of the night will probably be Rene Dupree vs. Rey Mysterio. That will be a great match probably. My question is, why do they have Eddie wrestling Danny Basham? Eddie is a main eventer and he is wrestling him? God Smackdown is going down, and fast!

Yeah, SmackDown has officailly become the JV team. Booker is a heel, but everything he said about SmackDown being the weaker show when he got traded was true. It's kinda sad...SD used to be great.

you never know, on tv it just might be better...hopefully. booker and dudleys together doesnt feel right, but hey its a start. id rather it be RVD instead of booker though. I think tna should broadcast their show on the same time as SD is on, i think that would make the wwe crap themselves.
I like that idea, will be intresting to see the ratings of TNA and SD next week.
SD does sound better than last week, Eddie actually wrestled, as did mysterio. The Heyman stable angle has the faintest glimer of a strong storyline in there somewhere. Chavo Classic is just a repeat of last weeks match but the end sounds kinda funny. I think that it is a better SD than what we have seen the ast few weeks.

Well there’s 5 Match’s, Shame that it has a look of Vince Russo styled Booking on it. For a start none of those 5 matches’ look good on paper.
One Question hear though, But why the **** do they have Eddie going over mid carders every week? Shouldn’t they be Building JBL up a lot more, thus having him go over Face Lower to Upper Mid carders? It would make a lot more sense, but I’m starting to think Bradshaw could be over a little bit more.
I like the look of this Undertaker Vs Heymans Faction thing that is going on, It look’s like it could be very interesting if Built up Right. I say have Bradshaw and Booker T join them and Try to put a stop to the Undertaker once and for all. Hopefully it could be better than the Undertaker/Million Dollar Cooperation feud that I seem to recall in the Mid 90’s. The Undertaker is fine with out Bearer, He went with out him for a lot of year’s so I don’t see how he has had a change of Heat all of a sudden.
Funaki Vs Chavo Classic and Eddie Vs Basham could possibly be the most interesting match up’s of the night, yet I still wonder why Chavo Classic is the Cruiserweight champion. Even I have got thinking he’s over the weight requirements to hold the belt.
Nice once again to see the Cruiserweight division buried. It’s really reminiscent of WWF 98 to 01 where once in a blue moon the belt would be defended and the Cruiserweights were not buried in pointless and ****ty angles. Chris all we need is for Gillberg to return and have a lengthy reign as the Company’s Cruiserweight champion. It’s a dam shame though because we all no that Rey, Noble, Etc are worth a lot more than the **** they get dealt with in the WWE.
I miss the Smackdown 6 (Edge, Eddie, Benoit, Angle, Chavo, Rey) When every week you where guaranteed a decent match, It’s technically now just the Smackdown 3!

Yet another disappointing show. I am glad that i don't watch Smackdown no more. I really think they need to another draft because if they don't get anymore top stars onto Smackdown it is going to die. IMO i think Velocity is better than Smackdown. I don't see it getting improved in the near future as Vince does not care about that show no more and is just letting the writers destroy a show that could be as big as Raw.
I honestly don't know the deal with the Eddie/JBL feud. They should be at each others throats to generate more heat for the feud and at least try make an effort to keep fans tuned into the feud and the match at GAB. Eddie battling mid carders, if you consider Danny Basham that. I wouldn't mind him battling mid carders, if JBL got involved in the match in any shape of form that would keep this feud moving and making it at least interesting, which it is not at the moment. JBL announces that there is a stipulation to the match, a bull rope match. Well to be honest, i don't know if that is going to improve the match i don't know, we will have to wait and see on that.
The Undertaker/Booker T feud is the only interesting thing on Smackdown IMO. Now the Dudleys getting involved should help them get a push as a heel team, capturing Paul Bearer making Undertaker into a decision that i am wondering what it would be. The next match between Taker and Booker, Booker should win, Taker does not need the victory and it would help Booker get over as a heel. And possibly could lead to a feud with Eddie in the main event, once this feud between Eddie and JBL is over of course. But i would not hold my breath on that because knowing the writers, they will drop him deeper into the midcard status again. I hope to god that they do not place him into the US title hunt because that would almost kill his career.

hey, i just had a thought...next week, when Taker gives an answer..maybe he will finally TALK!! HOLY CRAP! I miss the old haunting scarey deep voice he had back in the day. PHEW! Giving me goosebumps.
Anywho guys, lighten up. We will see the the feuds we wanna see eventually.
Well, if Vince is smart enough.
Because the angle hes giving Booker is making him want to retire. Which i dont blame him! Hes kinda old, and hes waited long enough for a freakin title reign. At least give him the US title instead of being Takers jobber. Or tag with RVD to help out the tag team division while both are waiting for their main-event push until that damn JBL feud is done...
RVD-same things as above^^..
Cena- since i just found out hes older then 25(which is the age to be to break the youngest champion record) main-event him already since hes 27. Hes already older then the Rock when Rocky got his first(i think).
Big Show-return to be a giant monster again, maybe possibly being face since hes been heel the whole time hes been on Smackdown
Kurt Angle-can really carry the young talent and give us a good show.
So eventually when all that happens, we will finally have a show to watch and be proud of
I think its an ok show. pretty nice matchs. But the JBL vs Eddie should have been a first blood. It will be a better match.
What the **** is a bull rope match?

i think both Eddie and Bradshaw cant handle a first blood match right now because of what happened in the past. I think it should be a no-DQ match because the last one ended in a DQ. That would be good.

I don't believe that many people believed Smackdown was horrible. Maybe some were jumping on the bandwagon.
I'd give Smackdown a 7.5/10 and below I go over what I thought was worth it.
Quite frankly, Smackdown was surprisingly enjoyable this week.
John Bradshaw Layfield came out and announced that at the Great American Bash, he and Eddy would face in a Texas Bull Rope Match. Apparently it's the same as a Strap match (the last I remember was between Steve Austin & William Regal). Both men will be tied by one arm and the first man to drag his opponent and touch each of the four corners to win.
So its been confirmed that Eddy and Bradshaw are having a Bull Rope match. I don't mind that much. I hope that they'll put on a decent match at GAB. Bradshaw did a lengthy promo and the crowd didn't seem to care. They booed him when he came out and when he left, but they were quiet during his speech. The only reaction he got out of the Canadian crowd was by way of cheap heat, saying something to the effect, "I'm an American so you respect me. We protect you." Translation: Hate me, so I can be an effective heel and Vince McMahon won't regret giving me a main-event push. That was soooooooo obvious.
Eddie Guerrero beat The Basham via Frog Splash.
On Smackdown, I saw shades of the old Eddie Guerrero. You know, the one we saw prior to Wrestlemania. Its nice to see that Guerrero sold like a champ and used his finisher for the 1-2-3.
Summer Bikini Contest
I liked this segment for three reasons: Miss Jackie won, establishing her as a new crowd favorite; Torrie Wilson was smokin' hot; and it was pretty fun to see Jamie Noble in a tux and then being drenched and sandy. On a sidenote, Sable (aka Methusael) returned and she got the worst cheers from the crowd.
Undertaker & Booker T wrestled to a no-contest after Paul Heyman came out. Paul Heyman directed 'Taker's attention to the titantron and the Dudleyz told 'Taker that Paul Bearer was behind the door, and if he wanted to see him again, he'd better listen to Paulie. Paul told 'Taker that he had one week to decide whether he would him and the Dudleyz, telling 'Taker that they could be unstoppable.
Well, Booker T didn't score a pinfall over Undertaker like I'd hope. The WWE could have really played that out to the hilt, but it didn't happen. But the performance on mostly everyone's part was excellent. I can't believe I'm saying this: Bubba Ray Dudley looked COOL! Honestly, he looked so relaxed and comfortable in his role. He was calm and chilled. Paul Heyman is always comfortable in his role, and I'm happy to see that he'll be on Smackdown next week. I've said many times, Heyman's presence is always a + and I hope he'll be on Smackdown next week, and the week after that. It'd be smart to keep Heyman on Smackdown 'till the end of time. The only thing problem was though I can longer believe Undertaker's dead. He seemed like the American Bad Ass, he just didn't speak. From Smackdown it can be assumed that Taker won't revert to the old attire, since he's placed his 'T' symbol on his pant's leg. Everything else was great.
This may be the last time, in a long time that I can say this, but I enjoyed Smackdown more than Monday Night Raw. Raw this week was a throw-away show and the only thing I enjoyed was the World Tag title match. Everything else gave me a 'meh' reaction and I'm disappointed to see they're building Chris Benoit/Kane through Eugene.

My internet has been down since Thursday that's why I didn't get the chance to post my usual thread. Also, I only caught the last 20 minutes of the show as I got home late. I'll take your word for it Mac Daddy as we always seem to agree. I enjoyed the final segment minus Booker seeming as an afterthought throughout the whole segment. If they were going to do that, they should of had him going against the FBI but not Booker who is supposed to be one of the top heels. I agree with you on Taker seeming like the Badass. I think it's about time that they give up on the Deadman gimmick working because he looks exactly the same and they really do nothing to bring back the feel of the gimmick. A Taker who actually cuts promos will help SD more than he is right now.
