Viva La Raza! Thats right it seems that I am after getting column fever. After my award winning Royal View I am back with the sequal. Twice the kicks, twice the laughs, twice the tittie and twice the action! Hoorah! This week however Im not going to concentrate so much on column lay out and what not. No this week the Peoples King is going to do a run down on the Smackdown! roster and discuss what he would do with the weekly Titanic show.
Okay I'll admit this wasnt my idea. I got it off Shua when he did he run down of the Smackdown! roster but I felt the need to post it in the hallowed gorunds of the column gaff. Now I know all of you are just DYING to see what I have to say. So I'll give the rundown, I might include some women depending on how Im feeling. So with any further adew lets bring out the superstars!......... Alphebetically of course.
AKIO- Simply put this guy is an outstanding talent. Since coming to the WWE he has yet to disappoint. However since Tajiri went to Raw he and his buddy Sakado have lost alot of momentum. I wouldnt split these two up but would instead build them up as a heel tag team. Once Kenzo Suzuki comes they could form a stable. Akio and Sakado need to be there to strengthen the tag division.
BIG SHOW- Presently Show is out of action getting some surgery done on his knee. Once Show returns they need to keep him on this monster rampage. Have him cut through the Smackdown! roster like a hot knife through butter. Big Show needs to be Smackdown's! monster main eventer.
BILL DeMOTT- As far as I know Bill is retired so....... what are you here for!?
BILLY GUNN- Oh Jesus what hasnt been done with Mr Ass? For the last few years ever since the New Age Outlaws split Billy has been bouncing around like a ping pong. Some serious repackaging needs to be done in order for this Texan to get back over. Maybe a heel turn and a run as Smackdown's! enforcer could work.
BILLY KIDMAN- As talented as they come. Now alot scream out for Billy to be put in the Cruiserweight division but I disagree. Kiddman can and should be there, there abouts when it comes to US title contenders. He is big for a Cruiserweight and so it wouldnt be any stretch of the imagination for Billy to step up to the US title division. Kiddman can mix mat skills with high flying mastery so easily. I cant think of a better contender.
BOOKER T- What are they doing? Booker T should be Smackdowns! top heel. Right now he should be taking on either RVD or going after Eddies strap. Instead he carries a plastic bag down to the ring like an old lady.
BUBBA RAY DUDLEY- Nothing to be done. The Duds are being handled perfectly.
CHARLIE HAAS- Now I know alot of people are complaining about Rico/Haas but Charlie suffers from lack of charisma. The man is great in the ring but when it comes to doing interviews...... meh. So right now he needs to be with Rico but not for too long. Haas and Jackie need to screw Rico somewhere down the road. If Haas were teamed with Jackie he really wouldnt need that much charisma. Either way he'd get some reaction because WWE fans think with their reproductive organ alot of the time. Once the split happens Haas can go after the US title with Jackie by his side.
CHAVO GUERRERO- Until the rapid title changes Chavo was doing the Cruiserweight division proud. He was the strongest champion the division had for sometime. Gurrero is a great technician and I think the time is right for him to step up to the US title contendership. He has the skills to make a great US champion and he has the Gurrero charisma.
CHAVO GUERRERO CLASSIC- Just keep him by Chavo's side. Get him to drop the Cruiserweight title to someone deserving, Paul London and then he can just be there to mentor his son.
D-VON DUDLEY- Lookat Bubbe Rey.
DOUG & DANNY BASHAM- The Basham brothers need to stay togeather because otherwise Smackdowns! tag divison would be that bit weaker. However they need to get away from Shaniqua and establish the Revolution that ran havoc in OVW. Both men have charisma and are great in the ring but there current gimmick is just god awful.
DAWN MARIE- I like the idea of Dawn with Rene Dupree. So I say go with it.
EDDIE GUERRERO- Make him a credible champ! Gurrero is the most over guy on Smackdown! but he doesnt look like the best champ in the world when he has to take on JBL. Give him Booker T or RVD.
FUNAKI- Announcer, I love him as an announcer.
HARDCORE HOLLY- Get rid of this bloody "tag team" with him and Billy Gunn. I really dont know what to do with Holly. Make him a bad ass? Quite frankly I dont care.
JACQUELINE- Nanana nanana Hey hey Goodbye!
JAMIE NOBLE- Jamie 'by God' Noble one hell of a talent that the WWE have forgotten about. We all know Noble is a redneck but at this stage it is just boring. Give the guy a persona like that Dean Malenko in ECW. Rarely talks just lets his actions in the ring do the talking.
JOHN CENA- Cena needs to revert back to the bad boy he once was. He was like a modern Stone Cold but as of late he has lost the attitude and the edge. I do like him feuding with Dupree but Cena needs to drop the US title and beat some people up. That includes Cole and Tazz.
JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD- He was shoved down our throats. JBL shouldnt be SD!'s main event. Keep the gimmick just knock him down a peg. Have him feud in a non-title situation to see if he can keep his heat.
JOHNNY STAMBOLI- I say keep him in the FBI but make the FBI an actual tag team. Right now they are Taker's bitches. Have Johnny and Nunzio do a number on someone and start a feud with an eye on the tag titles.
KURT ANGLE- Not a GM thats for sure. Best thing for Kurt would be take some time off. Chazz has said this before and I agree.
MARK JINDRAK- Try to get him away from being the next Lex Luger. I'll wait till we get to Teddy Long to explain Mark.
MISS JACKIE- See Haas
MORDECAI- Really there is no need for him to squash people and word has it Mordecai himself would prefer to put on some good matches. This guy needs to be shown to the fans as a wrestler. Place him in a low card PPV feud to see what he does.
NUNZIO- See Johnny Stamboli
ORLANDO JORDAN- Does anyone remember him? Orlando Jordan has a quite incredible life story and it is something the WWE should tap into. The fans would love Jordan and he would be a prime example of how people can get over the difficulties of life. They could make him into an American Icon.
PAUL BEARER- See Taker
PAUL LONDON- Give this man the Cruiserweight strap and let him do what he does best.
RENE DUPREE- I think, as others have said, he can drop the French gimmick but keep the ****y one he has always had. Rene was an arrogant prick in OVW and thats what the WWE need to give him. If they are keeping up the anti-American French gimmick then give him the US title so that Cena is free of it.
REY MYSTERIO- What is there to be done with Rey? He can slot into the US title division.
RICO- See Haas. After that Rico can become a US title contender.
RIKISHI- Dont care.
ROB VAN DAM- Two words. Main Event. Van Dam is as over as a guy with bad mic skills can be. The WWE need to capatilise on his skills and put him up against Eddie and Booker.
SAKODA- See Akio
SCOTTY 2 HOTTY- Jobber land
SHANNON MOORE- The Cruiserweight division could be built around Moore. He is one of the most talented guys on the roster and the more the WWE keep him off our screens the more we lose out.
SPIKE DUDLEY- Nothing. He is only good for one thing. An ass kicking.
THEODORE LONG- Im going to hold this one out till Thursday, when Thursday comes I'll post what I think Long should be doing.
TORRIE WILSON- Bah
ULTIMO DRAGON- GONE
UNDERTAKER- This special appearence thing has gone on way too long. Undertaker should be on Smackdown! weekly so that he can get over new talent. There is no need for him to destroy everyone. Vince and Taker should swallow their pride and give the Undertaker the task of getting Cena, Booker T, RVD and others over.
